I stopped getting my nails done here because the staff is extremely rude and unfriendly but decided to give them another shot because the are right around the corner from my house. This is the second time getting my nails done here since I decided to give them another shot and they trashed my nails. The lady who did my toe nails put too many layers of nail polish so it started bubbling up and peeling as soon as I walked out of the salon. My set of SNS was a waste of money too because the nail tech was in a rush so there are particles all over my nails. She also missed the corners and did not file them how I specified. There are plenty of other nail salons in the area. Just go anywhere else

I came here expecting an awesome mani/pedi from the reviews. But instead I got a fungal infection on three of my toenails from this place. Never in all my life have I gotten an infection from a pedicure. The nail tech I had rushed through my pedicure and then took her time on her phone before she started on my hands. My gel polish lasted for maybe 3 or 4 days before all of my nails started lifting and peeling off. All except for one, that actually stayed on. When I finally removed the polish there was nail polish underneath my nails Including my toes.

Tom was amazing and did a 5 star job! He paid a lot of attention to details and gave a great shoulder massage. However, I had brought my mom in to get her nails for her birthday and the woman doing hers completely skipped the shoulder massage part of the deluxe manicure. When I went back to mention it the woman came over and tried to convince my mom she had given her a massage and walked away.

Recently moved into this area and decided to try a new nail salon . Came across bamboo Nails and Spa Decided To Try It Out Since Its Rating Was Pretty Good. There were a lot of good recommendations for Kelly and Eric So I Made An Appointment With Kelly. I came across a picture on pintrest of a nail color that i really wanted. After showing Kelly the color she said she did not have it So she mixed a few powders together and created the exact same nail color !! !! I highly recommend this nail salon very polite staff ,very clean environment and great prices. Highly recommend Kelly!

Worst nail tech experience I’ve ever had. I have been a stylist for over 10 years so I know how it can be so I am not writing this easily. I went in with a photo and was given a bunch of books to pick the colors, very overwhelming to say the least. It was an ombré design so a little help would have been nice, I did my best. What they started with was absolutely not what I picked and when I said something she got frustrated and got up grabbed more books and basically chunked them at me and walked off not offering any help once again, this happened a few more times before I gave up picked a color and let her finish. Paid left and went across the highway to the place I usually go where they fixed them with no issues. The 2 stars are for the lady who was doing my pedicure, she was sweet and tried to make me feel comfortable through this long process since I was kinda stuck in the situation at that point.

With no appointments two of us were able to walk in and get mani/pedis with no wait. Friendly staff. Nice comfortable chairs with built in massagers and co tools are embedded in the arm so no fumbling for controller or dropping it! Complimentary wine, soda and/water. They offer multiple options for services (basic spa pedicure to deluxe pedicure with hot stone massage and paraffin wax). Wide selection of nail color choices. They do offer gel.

All around very nice staff. The complementary wine was lovely as well as the massage chairs. The only negative was amount of skin taken off. She cut way to much and left little cuts on my toes which stinged until it scabbed. I'll probably go back but with a warn to be a bit more gentle.

Y'all, Tam was amazing - attention to detail, perfect shape (not too chunky or too square elegant), made sure my cuticles were taken care of and not a single place on any finger has soreness or red. Dream SNS manicure for $45! I'll be making an appointment with Tam instead of doing walk in from now on!

I am pleased with the work every time I've been. The place is clean and the customer service is better than I've experienced at similar places. I like that they offer you a drink (soda, wine or water). However, I would recommend calling ahead of time and making an appointment. There are 8 chairs for nails and 10 chairs for pedicures and they are almost always full with people waiting. This is a testament of how many people love them.

Great place to get nails done and super convenient location. I loved this place even though what I got was pricey. I got my first acryllic french manicure done here and they did a really good job. The guy who did my nails said it would last 2 weeks but it only lasted a week. But I did get a complimentary margarita!

When I first came here they were only open a few months. I was nervous because I needed a new nail tech my nails had been ruined. I walked in and told Tracy I wanted to try shellac but was nervous because it never last me that long. She said I promise it will last at least 2.5 weeks. She said if it doesn't I will fix for free. I was shocked so I tried it. My shellac manicure lasted 3 weeks! I'VE COME HERE EVER SINCE!!! This ladies are AMAZING!!!! My favorite is Crystal super cute short hair with some SPUNK!!

I have heard great things about this place, from former students to people who live in my apartment complex literally two blocks behind this place. So when I called to schedule just a classic mani/pedi I was surprised that I didn’t even receive my manicure. The pedicure was fine, my technician did a great job trimming my nails and massaging and stuff (she didn’t offer a clear coat or anything so I had to ask her to do it), but then put my sandals on and escorted me out of my chair. I figured that she was going to walk me to a table to do my manicure, but I’ve always had my manicure done at the pedicure chair (I’m a guy so it’s not very complicated). She walked me to the register and asked if I was paying by card or cash. Yes, I could have very well told her that I wanted a manicure too, but I honestly feel like it would have been an inconvenience (literally every chair was filled and people were waiting to be serviced) and it would have just been rushed. I had high hopes for this place and thought it would be a great experience. I guess being the only guy in the salon this afternoon was reason enough to shuffle me out as soon as possible.

I went to Kelly because of all the previous reviews & she does a phenomenal job! Today was my second time going with her & she did just as awesome as the first time. So iv been to bamboo twice and my initial visit was pretty good and I liked my nails (there pedicures are not great and I got the deluxe I believe). The second time I went there I was serviced by Alley and it was one of the worst experiences iv had. She was rude, unprofessional and extremely impatient. She shrugged and hatted at me every time I asked her to correct a problem with my nails. She was unwilling to make a suggestion for an alternate color when I let her know that I’d like a brighter pink then the one I was currently wearing when I arrived. And to top it all of her finishe product was trash!!! I don’t think her service is a representation of the shop as a whole because the other nail techs are really welcoming and nice but Alley is horrible!

Absolute worst place to get any services, especially if you are non-white. I’ve seen the staff be pushy, dismissive and unhelpful with black and latin people, but SUPER accommodating to white women. The “manager” -Tiffany - simply find the person with the most offputting demeanor and chances are that’s her:. EVERYTIME I come in there she interrupts me, is unnecessarily rude, usually answering questions i didn’t ask. Clearly has a control issue as she lets no one speak for themselves. No, there is no language issue as the “manager” speaks poorly herself, she isn’t being a translator. Today, she refused my services FOR TOMORROW, as I was having a quick nail repair. She was upset that I still opted to repair my nail before my recently scheduled appointment, and that I called her out on her rudeness. She interjected into my conversation with the tech, with info I didn’t need. She proceeded to call the police when I asked for her business card, license or owner name. I will continue to share this awful experience With anyone who will listen and contact the Compliance Board, and the BBB. I’ll take my $1200 a year budget elsewhere.

This was my first visit to Bamboo Nails. I have to say, I noted more going on here than other salons. The entire salon was packed to the brim with people getting both pedicures and manicures. Men, women, and kids. Football was playing on the television, a few women were sipping what looked like wine. Both red and white were provided to customers. My daughter was getting her nails done. She described her experience as excellent, or on grade terms, an A- when compared with some of the other salons we've been to. All in all, the salon had a little bit for everyone. There is ample parking, the prices are comparable, and the service was good. We also liked using the online reservation through an external app, Leporu. The only reason why I gave a 4 rather than 5 star rating is because the waiting area needs a little work. As a patron waiting for a customer the seats were minimal and a little uncomfortable. But if you are getting services, everything is 5 stars. We will go back, for sure.

I’ve visited this place on 4 separate occasions. Sometimes it’s busy and when you make reservations it doesn’t really mean anything. You will more than likely have to wait past that time (if they’re busy or if it’s the weekend). The first time was “okay”, second time was better, third time pedicure was weak but manicure was beautiful, fourth time Mani and Pedi was ON POINT! Just like most nail salon there’s good and bad ones. I would say find the one that’ll do your nails the way you like, figure out their schedule, and stick with them. I like Susan and Katie. I will be making reservations with them in the future.

Eric is the best!!!! There's at least one other that is terrible but I still gave her a 2nd shot and way worse than the first time. Showed pics of what she had done to my fingernails and all the cuts as well as the terrible job she had done. At that visit it was the fill in manager and she did not care at all, just told me to go to someone else if I didn't like her. Had to keep explaining that I was complaining so that they were aware of her performance and attitude... but she could care less. The normal manager is amazing but she wasn't there. Request Eric! His skill level is amazing.

I received HORRIBLE service from them. I had my nails done for two weeks and because of that i experienced a horrible yellow fungus in my nails. I called the shop before I drove all the way over there.! Upon arriving the lady told me the yellow “stuff” on my finger were from my nail color dye. (Even though my nail color was red. Once I spoke with the manager over the phone she hung up on me as I was explaining what was wrong with my nails. After giving the phone back to the “lady who claimed to be the manger when I called twice” she told me my nail issue was not their problem. I had pictures from before my nails were done and after. The manager told me to leave her business or she would call the cops on me. All I asked for was a refund because of the issues after the fact. I would NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BAMBOO NAIL SHOP!

I took my mom here to treat her for a late Mother's Day present. She had a pedicure from Jenny that she enjoyed. However, my manicure with Crystal was terrible. My nails were trimmed at different lengths, and some of the sides of my nails weren't evenly filed on each side. There are still patches from the gel polish that my nail tech was supposed to take off, on my nails. I was only given one thin coat of polish that I can still feel the lines of the nail filing machine on my nails. Now I have to pay to go somewhere else to get my nails fixed and I had been looking forward to this all week. Very disappointed.

The people were very nice, however my nails are not. I got S&S and they do not look good. I asked for a different shape and the shape I have I do not like. They are also see through. They did not put on enough powder so they don't look too good. They were not worth the $45 I spent. The online description also said that we would get a back and arm massage and as didn't. I’ve been going to Bamboo to get my nails done at Bamboo for 1 year now. I go every 3 weeks and I’ve never had a bad experience. They work fast and efficient and have a lot of different color options. They have regular polish that matches their shellac options which is awesome if you are getting a mani/pedi and what them to match. The staff is very friendly and make sure they go over pricing and the details of what you want prior to starting to make sure you get exactly what you want. The pricing is very fair, if you want to spend less money then there are cheaper options and if you want to go all out they have more expensive luxurious options. All in all, it’s very quality service for the right price. The majority of people that go there are repeat customers for a reason. Plus they have free wine, margaritas and soft drinks ! I strongly recommend this place.

I do not live in the area anymore, but visit my mom often and we come here just about every time I am in town. Today in particular was pretty awesome because I was having a bit of a rough day, but Hannah totally took care of me! We were immediately seated with drink in hand, and I had just had my toes done before the visit, but I still wanted to spoil myself here because I love this place that much, so I got a gel mani and partial pedi (just massage and wax)...that's how good it is here! I HIGHLY recommend grabbing an appointment with Hannah before she's booked up! She was SO friendly, her skills are amazing and she gives awesome massages. Thank you so much Hannah and rest of Bamboo staff for always taking such great care of my mom and me! Have been going to this nail salon for about a year of the 20+ years I've been getting my nails done and I will say that I like this nail spa. I've been to many nail salons over the years and IMO most of the nail techs, not all, at Bamboo do a very good job overall! I personally only have nail tech VIVIAN do my nails and she has never disappointed me; has always taken her time on my nails and always does my nails with care, which is why I drive 40 miles to visit this spa. I've left and visited other salons, but came back. Some customers post a complaint for different reasons, as they have every right to, but if you find a nail technician that is good at doing your nails--no matter the nail spa, you should establish a good relationship with them, not be afraid to show them how you like your nails done, know their schedule, and be up front if you don't like the service at that time and you'll always be a satisfied client because a good nail tech takes great care of their clientele as Vivian does at Bamboo nails! Not all nail technicians are of good quality just as not all sns powders, gels, or nail polish brands are made of good quality. When you are getting your nails done, don't put your face in your phone the whole visit; look around at the different nail techs and watch their technique because you will eventually find a good one if you watch long enough. Vivian didn't do my nails the first time I tried this nail spa. The lady that did them my first time here was horrible, but when I watched Vivian, I told myself I would come back again and have only her do my nails! Find yourselves a good nail tech and stick! Running from nail spa to nail spa looking for that perfect customer service some of you complaint about isn't going to happen. Good customer service is a thing of the past and will most likely not happen everytime no matter where you run to, but a good nail tech anywhere values his/her clients and much of the time will provide a great experience!

I have been going here for about 6 months. Nothing great, however it was convenient. They are snotty and if you're not a big tipper forget getting treated like like they care. It's a minimum of 40 dollars and you don't get much for that, yet they have thier hand out for more. The guy today was rough and tried to WIPE HARD the dust off my are with a dried up old rag. I won't go back to get such sloppy service. Also note they are rude talking in something other than what we speak here in the USA ENGLISH!

Went in to get a pedi as my baby shower was a few days away all chairs were full and it seemed like they gave me the lady who nobody usually asks for she went and did my feet so far so good I asked her not to shape my nails as they already were from my previous visit here just to file them down she literally rounds out my toes which I told her not to do my big toes were two different shapes and I got gel color she went over my nails like 4 times the coat was thick and here I am not even two weeks later the gel is chipping off my pedi didn’t last a week it doesn’t even look like I got my feet done just a color on my toes I couldn’t stay to complain as I had a drs appt at 1:15 and it was 12:48 so had to rush out that’s when I seen everything I even tipped her because she was nice and kept making sure I was comfortable etc since I’m literally 2 weeks from giving birth her name was Leslie and the experience I had with my appt before was wayyyyyyyy better I loved it and the lady who did my pedi she did amazing but Leslie would literally look away while she was doing my feet which is why my shape is off on my toes the nail polish was also going off on the sides on my toe and some parts I didn’t even bother to take off myself because I’m so furious I paid 50 dollars for this mediocre pedi

I really liked the atmosphere of the shop and all of the employees seemed upbeat and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others!

They are my go to. I love me some Kelly and she does the hell out of some nails! Sandy is on her top of her game and she is part of the game plan!!! Babe loves her. Tammy did my nails this time... she's great, but 38 minutes out of 45 her attitude was sour AF. Those last 7 minutes she was really pleasant. Basically customer service could use some work, but the quality is superb! CS is a common complaint, I've noticed. However Sandy and Kelly are great, friendly, warm, welcoming and do an awesome job. There was only one time I wasn't impressed, but they fixed the issue immediately, I don't remember that tech's name. PS... anyone I've ever taken here has really enjoyed it.

Very crowded with long wait times. I am very disappointed with the quality of service. I got in around 6 30 pm on a weekday, waited for half hour. The lady who did my pedi was in a hurry to finish and go home. She was very distracted and skipped the foot massage step in the pedicure process. I definitely did not receive a good 40 min pedicure.

Had a appointment I got ombre and studs on 2 nails. Coast me about 75. The woman that did mine was jot very happy she didn't detail at well as I would have liked. The 2 times I asked to fox something it was attitude. But ones I have her %20 tip... then her smile came out. She did a good job so I would like to return here in Hope's I get someone who does better with details then I have no issues spending more for that. So only bad thing was how unhappy the woman was.

I was extremely impressed with how my nails came out. I found an old photo of unicorn nails on their google reviews page and I went in to see if they were able to do them. It was a bit pricey but the lady made sure to give me the pricing before she started. They came out beautiful. I went in on a Saturday and it was pretty packed but after five minutes I was seated. The evironment is very modern and clean and it seemed as though they had lots of loyal customers. 4 out of 5 stars only because the lady who did my pedicure was rough with my feet and the skin around my middle finger nail is extremely sore. My only critique is to be a bit more careful when scraping off excess skin. Will most definitely come back. Best nails I've had.

My mother and I came to get our nails done today to celebrate my engagement and it was packed when we walked in. We were greeted with a smile right away which doesn't happen often in Austin! We thought that we would have to wait but we were seated immediately! The employees were so nice and helpful in choosing colors. Their entire space was spotless. Have been going to this nail salon for about a year of the 20+ years I've been getting my nails done and I will say that I like this nail spa. I've been to many nail salons over the years and IMO most of the nail techs, not all, at Bamboo do a very good job overall! I personally only have nail tech VIVIAN do my nails and she has never disappointed me; has always taken her time on my nails and always does my nails with care, which is why I drive 40 miles to visit this spa. I've left and visited other salons, but came back. Some customers post a complaint for different reasons, as they have every right to, but if you find a nail technician that is good at doing your nails--no matter the nail spa, you should establish a good relationship with them, not be afraid to show them how you like your nails done, know their schedule, and be up front if you don't like the service at that time and you'll always be a satisfied client because a good nail tech takes great care of their clientele as Vivian does at Bamboo nails! Not all nail technicians are of good quality just as not all sns powders, gels, or nail polish brands are made of good quality. When you are getting your nails done, don't put your face in your phone the whole visit; look around at the different nail techs and watch their technique because you will eventually find a good one if you watch long enough. Vivian didn't do my nails the first time I tried this nail spa. The lady that did them my first time here was horrible, but when I watched Vivian, I told myself I would come back again and have only her do my nails! Find yourselves a good nail tech and stick! Running from nail spa to nail spa looking for that perfect customer service some of you complaint about isn't going to happen. Good customer service is a thing of the past and will most likely not happen everytime no matter where you run to, but a good nail tech anywhere values his/her clients and much of the time will provide a great experience!

Mendi was amazingly awesome! I picked a sns powder that look good on the pallet but when it got onto my nails it didn’t look that great .I got a little flustered Mendi was helpful had a suggestion on how to fix it and my nails came out amazing love them !definitely will go back. The atmosphere is welcoming , someone attends to you right away they offer you beverages and I have no complaints . They’re very on top of the game and looks like they know what they’re doing in there and willing to make you happy and I did get a peek of other nail artist in there and was very impressed by the work - Thanks Amy. Update I went back about 3 weeks later to have my nails redone and was greatly disappointed and will not be returning! Vivian if that is her name was rude and lack of communication and left a sour taste in my mouth and wouldn’t stop burning my one finger with the drill ! And her and 2 other coworkers looked at me and started laughing. This lack of professionalism when I’m paying for it was disrespectful and unwelcomed and so for all this I will not be returning to this salon

Maybe because we had a 7 pm appointment, but my pedi felt very rushed and the guy working on my toes hurt me quite a few times while just doing cuticle work. I've been here before with better service. Just seems to be hit or miss with the person you get. Prices aren't better than most places either.

Worst experience I have ever had I arrived at 6:30 with an appointment and left almost 2 1/2 hours later with a horrible full set and the worst pedicure I have even gotten. I made the long 30 min drive because of the good reviews and haven't been disappointed in the past but today was not a good experience. Definitely do not recommend this place for what they charge they can do a better job not a sloppy job I will post pictures to let everyone know the poor job this place does. The only thing I was told to come back tomorrow so they can fix like if it was just around the corner for me to work around there schedule.

Very busy nail salon. They accept walk-ins, but when they get busy, there will be a wait. I usually make an appointment. They offer water, white wine, red wine, or margaritas for free. The white wine was dry and they offered me a second glass. I opted for the deluxe pedicure with the milk & honey scrub which left my skin so soft. It's become one of my go-to places for my nails.

This was my second bad experience here after the first time of my SNS cracking within days of my visit. I decided to give them another shot my nail tech wasn’t paying attention and CUT my finger with the grinder. After switching my nail tech after the incident and being offered 50% off i then decided to forget it because in the end my nails looked good but now a week later my nails are all lifting from the nail bed and is uncomfortable and inconvenient I will not be coming back especially after making an appointment and still having to wait and being told that my friend couldn’t sit in the empty chair beside me

Bamboo provides the ultimate nail + relaxation experience. I've had 2 gel manicures done here but it seems everyone in chairs around me has opted for dips with nail art or designs. The mani stations are close to one another but I don't mind. The technicians are very thorough, take their time, gentle, and paint the entire nail. I havent seen any streaks or smudges on my nails. Also....so many pretty colors to choose from! I love glitters and they have bright, light, and dark glitters. Its awesome! If it's a Friday afternoon, you might want to call ahead. They do offer you drinks, non alcoholic or a margaritas.

I have been coming to bamboo nails and spa for almost a year now. Each time, I have done either gel or SnS. I noticed that my nails have started thinning from the constant filing and general nonchalance with which they take off the old polish. There has been a slow decline in the care with which the technicians attend to your nails, and a noticeable decline in politeness with the managers and technicians. The last straw was when I decided to do a regular mani-pedi for a wedding. The technician nearly injured my nail bed with the vigorousness with which she was doing the manicure. Even worse, the nail polish was low quality and started chipping off and looking horrible just a day later. After three days, I went back to them and showed them how bad the manicure was looking. They just let me know that this is to be “expected”, and that I would have to pay $8 to change it. I declined and left. I will certainly not be going back there. After a whole year of regularly getting expensive nail services done there, I was treated with absolutely no respect or interest in my continued patronage. Find someone better to do your nails, especially if you want them to grow healthy and strong.

When you ask for chang from a $10 or $20. So you can tip. Give you all five's and no ones. you should be able to tip what you want depending on how the service was. So you're getting a manicure and a pedicure, they want to charge extra if you get a cut down on your toes or your nails, that should be inclined

Service was not great and manager was a bit rude when I asked her about the services they did not provide me with today. I always get gel or dip powder that comes with a massage and hot towel procedure but today I was advised to get solar powder and that it was better because of the way it will looked so I got this instead only to be told at the end that it does not come with any additional services like the hot towel or massage... but I was charged the same price $50.... when I asked the manager about it she said the lady who did my nails told me it would not come with this services.... she did not , but I guess the manager says I’m lying. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here just because of this.

I have gotten my nails done here regularly over the past year and they are the only place I go now! On the weekends they are very busy, and even with a reservation, you may still have to wait a little, simply because every single chair is full! But they are well worth the wait, because every manicure/pedicure I have ever gotten from any technician at Bamboo has been top notch! The drinks are complimentary, the place is very clean, the prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the color selection is great as well! I drive all the way up from South Austin for this place!

They were overall pretty friendly, and our nails look decent. However overall care was poor. My finger was sliced open and they didn’t even notice. And my mother was scratched by the cuticle clippers. Definitely not my first choice for a manicure again. Customer service could of been much better!

Went and got a pedicure about 4-5 months ago.. now have a fungal infection on both of my big toes. Both of my toenails had to be removed by a podiatrist this past Tuesday and I now have hundreds of dollars in medical bills from this. Will not be using Bamboo again. I've always gone here for my spa needs but I will no longer be wasting my money. ALSO, I've never had this problem with my toes before, just to put that on the record. Have pictures/proof to back this up.
