I booked a massage for my wife's birthday during our vacation. Rita called the day before to reschedule. Then on the day of the massage we went to one of two addresses sent in the confirmation email. Apparently it was the wrong address and rather than offer to reschedule, Rita simply said, "Too bad!" The confirmation email did not say which location (Pine Mountain/Bear Cove), gave two addresses separated by a /, and only gave one phone number that I called several times without any answer. Rita was rude, talked over me and refused to be reasonable to reschedule. I would never recommend this place.

STAY AWAY!!!! Very unprofessional, disorganized and lacks communication!!! I attempted to give this business the benefit of the doubt. I have read all the reviews and realized they were from a year ago or more. I felt that a business can make appropriate changes in that time frame. Clearly, this was a poor decision on my part! I had planned a Deluxe Couples Massage with hopes of a romantic and relaxing morning. I called and scheduled the massage 4 days in advance. The scheduler took my name, phone number and affirmed our appointment. We arrived 10 minutes early excited and ready for our massages. Granted we were there 10 minutes prior to 9 AM, not a soul was there even preparing for the day. If you advertise your hours between such and such…you should either be in your office or a note placed on the door. When I called the number to question our appointment the person (Anna) answered sounded as if they had just woke up! How unprofessional!! She offered an appointment later in the day, inconvenient but we wanted to provide them the chance to redeem themselves at a discount obviously. When we returned for our re-scheduled appointment, still we weren’t impressed. After filling out the paperwork we sat in the waiting room. Anna went upstairs to prepare the room; she called for us from upstairs. A professional should return downstairs and escort their client to the rooms. When we reached the top of the stairs she was nowhere to be seen, she was inside the room. In our changing room the floor was wet and very cold. On the sink was cleaning products that should not be there when clients are in the room. Limn did a great job, the pressure was good and his technique was sound. Anna on the other hand was repetitive, used too much lotion, and had very little to no pressure. I found it difficult to relax with her chomping on a mint for the first 20 minutes. Also I feel it was unprofessional for her to lay the lotion bottle between my legs; most therapists have holsters or tables nearby to sit the lotion. The bath after the massage did not offer soap to clean ourselves; our bodies were very oily. The snacks were great and the drinks were refreshing. Overall, we feel it was a decent experience but not one to repeat, the staff seemed awkward and very unprofessional. When we returned downstairs to pay we began talking with Rita (apparent supervisor). She had just returned to the office. Understandably, she didn’t know who gave our massages. The strangest part was that the other staff didn’t seem to know each other very well and they all seemed confused. They didn’t know who was where and if they were in their car smoking. Rita appeared agitated when she heard we were to receive a discount due to the scheduling inconvenience. She called for Anna, who came in from her car and asked how we were going to receive a discount. Anna was unclear how to give us a discount but something shady came up during this transaction too, we were going to be discounted from the $210 when they were running a special $185 that we weren’t informed about. This is when Rita became even more annoyed with Anna and told her to complement our entire visit. Grateful that we didn’t have to pay, this is still not a spa that we will be returning to.

I can not fully describe what a disappointment this place was. I would not send anyone here. Ever. Their menu said they offered herbal baths, in the description it said, first they dry brush you, then you soak in a herbal bath. That was a total joke. After my massage; which was in a tiny room, with two tables, also not such a great massage, Stephen took me to my "herbal bath".( It was a Jacuzzi tub... mine at home was nicer) he opened the door and said here you go, here is your bath. I asked about the dry brushing and he said he didn't know what I was talking about. Told me he would knock when my time was up. I was left to turn off the water and turn on the jets. There was nothing herbal about that bath. My three cousins also had horrible experiences here. And to top it all off, Rita wasn't there, the staff couldn't handle our bad experiences. I ended up checking us out, the poor girl didn't know how. I happened to know the system, I had to show her how. The only good thing was the facial girl, I was told her facial was nice, too bad she works there. This place is horrible, Rita is horrible. I actually feel sorry for the staff. They work for a complete idiot. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. We were on vacation, and all we wanted was a fun and relaxing girls spa day. We didn't get it. If you are reading this, take my advice and go somewhere else.

This review reflects my PERSONAL OPINION: I purchased a gift certificate online for my boyfriend because he deserved something nice after a bad few weeks. We rescheduled once (I called and left a voicemail to cancel) and I rescheduled online, however we had an unexpected emergency and canceled as soon as we could the second time. After trying to deal with Rude-Rita the "manager" (I use that term loosely because a true manager doesn't treat people the way she treated me), I will say nothing more other than that if I could give this place negative stars, I would. There is a reason this place does not have 4 or 5 stars. Please read other reviews, I'm not the only person that has had a poor experience with management.

Terrible customer service! Wish I would have read the reviews first. Made appointments for my mom and sister and myself. My sister and I had massage scheduled and my mom a pedicure. They took us back after checking all 3 of us in and getting our paperwork. My sister and I had our massage in a freezing cold room and the massages were only ok. When we came out we found out our mom sat there the whole time with no pedi done. When I asked what happened no one seemed to know what was going on. When I called I spoke to Rita who I set the appointment up with and all she said was they didn’t have my mom down for anything. She explained that it was totally her mistake. But that was it!! Very disappointing. I usually don’t write reviews but felt I needed to this time.

Awful experience! Booked a wedding party there, and they totally messed up our appointments. They booked some girls for one package, and some girls for a separate package, though I ordered all the same thing. I also booked at a 'special' price they were promoting on their website, but when it came time to pay, they made me pay full price! When questioned about it, the girl called the manager (Pat?) to argue with me over the phone! Massages were just ok, no pressure at all. Manicurist totally messed up my nails, and filed them as short as she could. Pedicurist was just ok, but my feet were still pretty rough when she was done. Will NOT be back.

After stumbling across some negative reviews on Here and Tripadvisor I was a little leary of the level of service that I would be getting… BUT I was greatly impressed with the staff at the spa. Everyone was very warm and friendly. We were greeted by a member as soon as we stepped in the door and promptly escorted into the couples suite. I found the cabin to be very clean and inviting. Our two massage therapists came in before and consulted with us then left the room as we prepared. When they re-entered they were very professional and offered very relaxing swedish technique. My therapist really worked out some tension in my neck and shoulders. After the massage my partner and I enjoyed the tray of cheese and fruits. Everything was great and everyone was so nice and welcoming. I have learned these reviews are not very accurate

I booked an appointment online, received confirmation emails and texts. Then the day prior I get a call that there is only 1 massage therapist and the car show is in town so apparently I get bumped. At this point it's too late to schedule somewhere else and when I am obviously irritated, the employee says "well gee whiz" instead of ever apologizing for the incident.

I usually don't look at or write reviews, because from my experience most bad reviews come from disgruntled employee's. I'm writing to inform you of a true experience I had at this perticular spa. It was my wife's birthday and I wanted to do something special for her. I called and talked with Rita, who went over the different packages they offered. I chose the one hour couples massage since my wife and I could be in the same room together. Rita was very pleasant to talk to and very informative. When we arrived at the spa we filled out a form asking about our medical history. We then were taken to a very nice room with two massage tables in it. The therapist we had were extremely polite and well educated on how to give massages. Let me tell you, it was the most wonderful experience that my wife and i have ever had. We got up off the table and got dressed. For the rest of the day we had so much energy and felt totally relaxed. All the stress we were dealing with was gone. I will definitely be coming back again. So, by mine and my wife's experience at the Pine Mountain Spa I can most definitely tell you that any bad reviews on here were written by past or maybe even present employee's and their families. It's a shame people have absolutely no class and try to ruin a great business by posting lies and dishonest comments. My comments are real and the great pleasure we had was and is real. This place was AWESOME!!! We came in for vacation and decided to go to the spa. I booked for Tues but thought it was Sat and they accommodated and saw us on Sat instead of making us wait until Tues. We got the deluxe couples massage which was very relaxing which is followed by a relaxing bath in a jacuzzi and comes with a small fruit/cheese tray.

A! Hidden! Gem! Beautiful Resort/Day Spa on the side of Pine Mountain in the heartbeat of Pigeon Forge, with a stunning view of the foothills in the Great Smoky Mountains. Though the shines of this Gem are the professional caring staff, ESPECIALLY DENNIS! From the first moment we spoke and I explained what I was trying to arrange for myself, my mother and mother in law; to setting the reservation; to him giving me his personal number incase I had any questions or needed to make changes I could get ahold of him anytime; to confirmation texts prior to my arrival; to him and the rest of the staff greeting us with smiles and hugs; to being given the choice to speak or not speak during the treatments to maximize your relaxation; and to the best most surprising gift of kindness was complimentary aromatherapy steam showers during our wait between treatments. I walked in tense, stressed and overworked; and I left rejuvenated with clear mind and relaxed body. I will be back when in the area and highly recommend them to all!!

I made an appointment over the phone a couple months ago for a couples massage April 9 at 7:30PM...they TEXT me at 10:34AM today (April 9) to tell ME to call THEM regarding my appointment...I called to find out my appointment had to be changed because it was one of the massage therapists day off. Im pretty irritated because I scheduled other parts of the trip around the massage time I scheduled months ahead of time. We are taking our business else where.

I booked the couple's massage appointment the day before the appointment date. We got there 30 minutes early. We saw a woman outside of the building smoking when we pulled up. She then went inside, opened the door to the pull area, saw us, and immediately went back in. We go upstairs to try to go in and it's locked (understandable, we were 30 minutes early). So we sat outside for 30 minutes until our appointment time and the door was still locked. So we decided to call the number on the door, it had been disconnected. So I google the number, call, and the woman says the system is messed up and they are closed today. First, the woman that saw us, should have said something. Second, the number on the door isn't even a real number. third, they knew the system was messed up but still allowed us to schedule the appointment, never called us and we had our whole day planned around this. I definitely do not reccomend this place.

Went to this place for a date with my wife. She got a prenatal massage and facial and I received a 100 minute deep tissue massage. I’ll start off by saying the staff was friendly when we arrived and after we finished our paperwork we went into our room. They gave us a room together per our request, which was nice. My wife enjoyed her prenatal massage but was left unsatisfied by her facial. What she received was not what was described on the website. We paid for the “Just for me” facial yet she didn’t receive any extractions. It was more of an extended face wash. As for my massage, I would not have considered it deep tissue. I was never asked how the pressure was or if there were any areas that I wanted worked more than others. In 100 minutes they never even massaged my legs. That fact was very disappointing. For what we paid, I felt we didn’t get what we were promised. The people were nice and the views were good but the services provided left something to be desired. I reached out to them through their website to discuss the issue and never heard back. I’m not one to leave negative reviews but I would not return here unless they attempt to make up for our experience in some way.

I called on 5/10 and spoke to Rita who booked my appt for 5/20 at 9am. She took all of my info and credit card info as well. When me and my sister got there 15 min before the time no one was there. I called at 9am and spoke to Rita who then tries to tell me that I didn't have an appt in her system. The services they lost was $225 but what makes it bad is we are no some local people. We came from out of town 3 hrs away

My husband and I visited the spa on August 10th 2019 for our anniversary. We purchased a primo couples package that included a couples massage, facials, manicures, and pedicures for the both of us. Upon arrival we were called by the wrong name which is fine I can understand that, but it went on throughout the duration of our services. That should have been my sign. We were immediately asked by a clerk check-in counter to pay for our services or we had the option to wait until the massages were over. We chose to wait until they were over so they put us in a room to fill out a waiver form. We filled them out and while doing so we heard them frantically running around trying to prepare for us. 2nd bad feeling! They were not prepared at all. the massage therapist was not ready the facial person was not ready and they didn’t even have a room for us. They finally came in and asked us if we wanted to be in the same room. We said yes that’s what we booked for a couples massage so we found ourselves waiting again. Finally, they are ready for us and they take us into a tiny room and I was very uncomfortable because I am claustrophobic. To start my husband off with a massage and I started off with a facial. About halfway through the air broke and it became miserably hot over 82° in a tiny room with for humans is not ideal for relaxation. The facial was a little noisy and messy as it was done with a stainless steel bowl of water next to my head banging and clanging they started my husband off with a massage and I started off with a facial. I did not receive any extractions and felt the job was rushed because my husband’s massage therapist finished sooner than the facial tech so she hurried up and switched over to him. We got dressed and I tried to use the restroom in the massage room, but the door would barely come open far enough for me to squeeze through it. It got jammed on the floor and was too tight, probably from the heat!! Also the toilet was broken and did not flush. Next we paid and tipped very well and we were escorted down the stairs by the pool where we were told we could use those facilities the next time we come because they were free to guests! Would have been nice to have known prior! We enter the salon where we were supposed to have pedicures and manicures. We were placed in the spa chair and our feet were put in a water bath. One woman was working on us both and going back and forth between us. This took forever! We were burning up already and then had to put our feet in hot baths and we weren’t even offered a drink. I’ve never had that happen in any massage place no matter what the scale of the facility! I mean who doesn’t encourage you to drink water after a massage?! Two men from upstairs kept coming into the salon and telling her to hurry up and asking is there anything I can do to help? The next clients will be here soon. The 2nd time they came in they said “the clients upstairs have decided to give up their massages early because it’s too hot since the air is broken, but they still want you to do their facials so they are waiting”. At this point she hadn’t even began our manicures and people were waiting upstairs for her. So unprofessional! She began working on my nails where she barely clipped them at all and the paint job, well I could’ve done better if I had painted my fingernails with my own toes. My husband got done the same way as with the pedicures. We had to be gone back and forth between one another by her. The men came in again and they told her the next clients were there and she freaked out! My husband only got one hand done!! She said you all are are finished up and we just looked at each other in awe! I have pictures of how awful this was. We both sent emails about our concerns that night and the next day, but no reply yet!

We had booked a couples massage, mani and pedi session which was a waste of $128. They initially told my husband the appointment was at 11:15am; the next day, a text was sent saying it was at 11:45am. No big deal. We get there at 11:15 just in case here was a mistake. We weren't taken down for the manicures until 12:30pm. One lady did one pedi at a time after being seemingly upset that I failed to tell her that I had a gel manicure. I sat for my pedicure with individual bubbles around my fingers it's cotton balls of acetone (which irritates the skin btw). One hour + later, she does my manicure while taking a phone call from her family. I understand things happen beyond our control but excuse yourself before talking on the phone not while doing a manicure. We ended up cancelling the massages since the time at this point was around 2:15pm. The end result was sore toes from the obvious inexperience and a goopy, poorly done paint job. I think the staff have good intentions but need help and more training.

I should have looked at the reviews first. Scoped this place out after arriving in Gatlinburg and pre booking an appointment for four massages. As soon as I saw it I worried about the quality of the experience. Even so, we were willing to give it a try. Four moms all with kids under five on vacation...it was our only planned downtime. Except not in that the spa made an error and booked us for the wrong time/day, despite my confirmation that showed the correct time/day. They then proceeded to charge my card which now unfortunately we have to dispute. Save your money for an amazing, relaxing spa experience. Not for a shady establishment that takes away vacationers experiences and proceeds to charge them for their mistakes. Disgusting.

We booked couple massage and pedicures. 1st we were promised a confirmation text with directions the day before and after calling and leaving a message I got a text at 9 pm. My massage was not that great but my husband's massage was with Stephen and he said it was great. The room was very tiny, really should have only had 1 table. Then we had to go outside in the rain to the bottom level to a very cold room for our pedicures. WORST pedicure ever! Water was cold and when I complained she just turn a little hot water on which of course got cold again because 1 person was doing both of our pedicures at the same time. No hot towels and barely scrubbed our feet. Then time to pay. I was told there is a 3% fee if you use a card. I said I should have been told that. They claim everyone is told at the time of booking. I was not told. When I booked all the lady was worried about was making sure I knew about the "no show" $40 fee.

It was awesome. Must be a lot of pretentious jerks who visited previously. My wife and I got everything we paid for in a deluxe couples massage. Greeted immediately and was sat in the waiting room, which has an awesome view, to complete the paperwork. Ms.Rita did and outstanding job woth my massage. The embiance was on point. Warm, clean beds , perfect lighting , awesome zen like music. Afterwards the bath and fruit and cheese tray were on point. I brought a bottle of wine and they chilled it for us and corked it at no additional charge. This was an all around awesome experience.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! We had reservations for a group of 7. Our appointments were scheduled at 9 in the morning, my mom called at 7:30 to check to see if they had showers. Rita asked for her name and tells my mom she isn't showing her until 1:00. The person in our group that had talked to Rita SEVERAL times gets on the phone with her. Rita tells her she will need to "get her computer warmed up" and will call her back. Several minutes later my mother calls her back and Rita tells us that we were on a cancellation list for if anyone happens to come out..then she proceeds to say that she had taken our appointments off because we had called and canceled the appointments...at this point we are all VERY upset and she is arguing back and forth with us. She continues to argue and calls my mother a liar. The woman could not keep her lies straight and did not want to admit that someone in that very unorganized spa had messed up the schedule. She will definitely not have our business and now she has made 7 women very upset and we will be sure to tell everyone about the terrible experience. I am not one to fuss about things and businesses but this woman does not deserve to be in business. She is rude, unprofessional, and has terrible customer service. Now that I have gotten home I have read other people having this issue. I am doing you a favor and telling you to avoid this place at all cost and find somewhere that will give you a pleasant experience. We had a wonderful weekend but no thanks to this place!

STAY AWAY! Unfortunately there are no negative stars so I had to give a 1. First off when I called the phone number on their website it took me to a private cell phone, the man who answered said please text this number for reservations. I text the number and we had everything set up 2 days prior to arriving. The day we were supposed to go I text the same number to ensure that our massage was confirmed and we were on the books, everything seemed good to go. We arrived and one of the “massage therapist” was sitting in the nail salon portion of the business sitting in a pedicure chair in the dark on his phone. We told him who we were, he looked it up on the computer and said okay follow me, then had us fill out the “waiver” form well while doing so he stepped out and when he came back he informed us that “there was a problem”, our appointment was never booked and he was the only therapist there at the time, he offered us come back around 6:30 but also made sure we were aware that he was leaving at 5:30 therefore he was just pawning us off to the next people coming in. His demeanor and lack of customer service made our minds up IMMEDIATELY. As we were walking out another massage therapist stepped out of another room, oddly enough he was “the only one there” huh? Needless to say it was an awful experience, did not feel like our business was needed there and we will NOT be returning OR recommending these people to ANYONE! I do not usually write reviews unless I have just had an awful experience because I would want to have the same heads up prior to using a business. Good luck to anyone who attempts this place.

Massage was excellent, but the tub was small and is right next to the massage tables. Cozy, but not very romantic. Beware this is located on the first floor, not accessible for wheel chair as far as I could tell.
