When you book a prenatal massage @ a place that advertises them, the logical assumption is that they know what it is & how to do it. They didn’t know where props/pillows were, didn’t know after x amt weeks pregnant women can’t lie on their backs. Massage therapist, when I asked when we were getting to the prenatal part, he acknowledged that he’s not supposed to be given prenatal massages bc he hasn’t done them after school & had already told front desk to give me a discount. He said he didn’t want me to leave empty handed - told him should’ve been my choice if I wanted a general massage or come back another day/time. Front desk first claimed they didn’t know abt the discount, then he said he didn’t have authority to give discount but could give me a discount on next massage. I told him to go find someone w/the authority. Few mins later he miraculously was able to give the discount. During this time he was too busy chit chatting with another employee abt their weekend plans. Massage 3/5 guy was honest...eventually. I should’ve been told before the massage so I could decide how to spend my money & time. Would give him another try after pregnancy. Front desk 1/5. Didn’t have paperwork ready for me to fill out when I got there. Obnoxious how he tried to get out of giving me discount after therapist told me twice he’d set it up. Didn’t give a receipt at the end bc couldn’t figure out how to print one so no clue how much the guy really charged me until I look it up online. Overall: Won’t go back bc of front desk staff.

This was my first visit to this particular location. Unfortunately, the person I saw here, McKenzie, actually bruised my neck pretty badly. I am in much worse shape than I was when I arrived there and its been a few days. The very next day after this massage, I was in a lot of pain due to the bruising on both sides in the back of my neck. I would choose a different location.

My husband and children booked me a 1 hour massage for Mother's Day here because the place I loved that was close to us closed. That was the WORST massage I've ever had. Very quick, jerky, random movements, not the fluid, calming, continued pressure I've always had, and it ended 10 minutes early. She didn't even touch the areas I clearly expressed were my problem areas. It was awful. I could not relax, I was shaking and squirming the whole time. I kept taking deep breaths to try and relax myself but it wasn't happening. I told the receptionist my concerns and he nervously said "oh, sorry" and gave me my total. I didn't raise a big fuss, and I debated on leaving a tip at all, but I've worked in the beauty industry for 13 years and know that we count on those, so in solidarity I left at least the minimum. She sure as heck didn't earn it. I cried and was more tense when I left. I do NOT recommend this place, but if you go, make sure you make your expectations clear. Apparently you have to tell them you want a relaxing massage, not to be shoved around with very scattered, staccato movements.

Beyond poor experience. Upsell was deceitful and then harassing phone calls to my spouse to provide his card number too. Manager, Bailey, is an immature joke. She hung up on me after arguing about the upselling practices and refuses to cancel my membership after we have moved. So let me see... Pay these con artists $59 a month for nothing? I don't think so. I will be disputing with my bank and canceling my card. By the way, the massage itself - depends on the luck of the draw.

Customer service is extremely lacking at this place. On 2 different occasions, they called me last minute (literally an hour before my appointment) to cancel my massage. I was rather annoyed given I had taken off work both times. After finally getting an appointment that they didn’t cancel, I show up and they proceed to tell me that my appointment is for a different time. I assured them this wasn’t the case as they called the previous day to confirm my appointment. Aside from issues with scheduling, their massage therapists are not as knowledgeable as they claim to be. I suffer from a genetic disorder that causes hypermobility of the joints. They assured me that the therapist I was scheduled to see had other patients with the same disorder and was experienced when dealing with it. Upon meeting the therapist, I got asked what my disorder was, how to say it, and the therapist appeared to know absolutely nothing about it. I will most definitely not be returning.

Customer Service is sorely lacking...After I had a massage cancelled without my knowledge I was told that the phone number that they had for me was not working. This was odd as I had given them my new number the previous week. It was then determined that they had both my email address and my wife's number, but chose not to perform any due diligence to service the customer. When I called back to speak to a manager, the young lady that was the source of the issue happened to be the manager. I called two days later to speak to a different manager and was asked, "Well...what is it that you want?" Poor customer service, high turnover for therapists, and an overall lack of attention to detail. It is not enough to have a nice lobby in the Cool Springs area with plenty of bottled water and peppermint candies. Customer service is pivotal. This location...as with other according to reviews, is not run effectively. If you want to speak to the owner they are more than happy to give you a generic email address for the location. Awful.

I am so sick of the masseurs talking to me during my massages. I did not come and pay a lot of money to make a friend. I come to relax. I also didnt come in for my first massage 3 months post pardum to get asked why i would decide to breast feed my baby and oh yea she wasnt going to judge me for co sleeping with my child. My appt was at 830, the lady didnt come get me until 835 and then didn't come back in the room until 845. When she finished up at 958pm how is that an hour and a half massage? I wouldnt have tipped her since she talked the whole time to me but the receptionist made me feel like i had to check out before I even went in for my massage so they could get out of there at 10pm. Very disappointed once again as the last time i called to make my appt i asked the receptionist to note on my file i like a nice quiet environment. I obviously didn't get that as last night I left more annoyed than relaxed at all after my massage.

I took my fiancé in for his first massage.. He appreciates the ambiance of the facility, but he's still complaining about the massage. That's not the typical service that I receive from this establishment, so I'm not really sure what went wrong. Maybe we'll try a different location next time.

Honestly, one of the best massages I've ever received. Went in for a deep tissue massage (1-Hour Session), and it went a long way in relieving my back pain. The front desk staff was courteous, as well - just a great experience overall.

Jessica had a real challenge on her hands because my shoulders were so tight that the right scapula would not even move, but she did a fabulous job with just the right pressure to get it to loosen up a great deal. A great experience!!

The massage was good but the rooms are so plain, the massage table is plain but still comfortable, and I personally like the smell of essential oils when getting a massage and when I'm waiting to go back. Everything seems clean at Massge Envy and maybe other people like that there is no aromatherapy action going on and that the room is pretty bright. My husband bought me the year membership but if I had my preference Fox Spa in Columbia really gives an all around terrific experience. A darker candle lit room, a heavenly comfortable massage table, and aromatherapy really gives me the experience I'm looking for in a massage therapy session. Again, don't get me wrong, the place is clean and the people are really nice. I just personally prefer a deeper, more relaxing experience.

I wish I could give 0 stars to this TERRIBLE place. The massages are 20 mins less than what you pay for. The service is horrible. And they trick you in getting a membership that's uncancable but they don't tell you that. I was told I can cancel it any time I want. Turned out I can't and I'm stuck with it even tho I can't use it. Very unpleasant and horrible experience!

They have always been helpful in managing my busy life in order to fix the kinks of everyday life stress that gets heavy with all that I do professionally in management, mentoring, and life coaching. The Cool Springs location has been vital in my health, and having survived two car crashes that I wasn't supposed to survive, this location helped me fix what I couldn't fix, besides Prayer and recovering physical body stress in my my muscles and joints. I arrived at the place to get my massage. After waiting an hour I was told my therapist had not shown up for work and they would have to reschedule . They did offer me a free hour of massage and I do appreciate it but it was a huge step as a single mother for me to even spend the money on myself and to hire a babysitter for this special occasion and that’s all that I was offered...... Update on this issue I Gave them the chance to fix the issue. I was told I would get a free 90 minute massage after I contacted corporate and they Escalade my email. I did not get a confirmation the day before my appointment so I called and confirmed my appointment for today I was told it was today and my facial was scheduled immediately after I arrive for the session I receive a 30 minute massage and I’m told that oh I was only booked for a 30 minute massage and Chloe who is the manager of the place would have to deal with and she’s not here so I got a leave. What kind of place are they running??? You had your chance to fix it
