My wife wanted to go here for our anniversary, we did one of the couples packages and it was great, only down side is the price point.

Got a gift card for Christmas. I would give the hair salon 5 stars. They listened to me and gave me a great cut and color. The spa was not great. I got a $110 dollar pedicure. The only added service was a scrub. No paraffin as listed. I can get that for $50 elsewhere! Also, the receptionists were not very friendly and I had a difficult time scheduling services multiple times.

Voted top rated spa in Nashville, year over year, and when you visit you will find out why.

Went in for the "custom" massage yesterday, which was a mix of deep tissue and a Swedish massage. It was wonderful! The masseuse was very professional and her hands were like magic! I've had back problems for most of my life, but afterwards and then all day today my body has felt very light and springy! Once my massage was over I had a deep-conditioning treatment. There was some confusion when I scheduled the appointment over the phone, because after the treatment they gave me a blowout as well. I didn't realize it wasn't included with the deep-conditioning, so when I went to pay at the front desk and saw the extra charge, I explained that I didn't schedule a blow-out, only the treatment. After some discussion with the manager, who was extremely professional, kind, and understanding, they took off the extra charge. Overall I had a great experience at the Escape Day Spa. The atmosphere was very welcoming and tranquil. My only gripe was that I scheduled an hour-long massage, but it started fifteen or twenty minutes late, so I really only had a 40/45 minute massage. Other than that, everything was fantastic.

TERRIBLE. BEWARE of bringing personal items to women's locker room and the owner. If you are looking to relax and be treated with kindness especially if a problem occurs, do not go here or do not bring in any personal items!!! The MAJOR problem was my locker was unlocked and my personal belongings were ransacked. Then owner, Tammy, was then very insulting. After spending close to $500 and a whole day (9-3p) unwinding, the relaxation turned to shock as I opened my LOCKED locker to find all of my clothing missing. After 15 minutes of trying to find management to get help, they blamed ME. HUH?!?The manager opened all the lockers and my things were shoved randomly into three separate lockers. Then a housekeeping lady came in and said she "found" my socks on the floor. It was obvious someone with the master key went through my belongings and haphazardly shoved them back into different lockers. Did they get busted going through my stuff and panic?! Probably. The manager let me know only she and the two housekeepers had master keys. she kept saying this has never happened. Later I find out it does happen frequently from the owner but she blames the clients. ??? They totally were like this couldn't have been their fault. I finally had to say that my locker was locked. Had been all day. I had all of my things hanging neatly. I looked at her told her directly that she had a staff issue. I had severe anxiety leaving (which was opposite of the plan here, hello!) My day of relaxation was ruined. Bonus was the fear of what was stolen from my wallet and how many banks/cards I had to alert afterward. Fun times. To heap insult to injury, I asked to speak to the owner. After two weeks of not connecting, we connected this evening. She started off by saying she was sorry I had trouble with the lockers and that she was made aware that I mistakenly put my things into three different lockers. Huh!?! After explaining to her that was not the case, she SERIOUSLY stated , Since you eventually found all of your belongings, I'm not sure why you are still upset. ARE YOU JOKING?! How about personal belongings and privacy violated after I spent almost 500 and a whole day at your business?? Her lack of customer service skills was shocking. She was condescending and asked me what would I like her to do. How about not blame me to kick off the conversation? How about profusely apologize for my purse, wallet, and clothing being ransacked? How about I'm sorry you had to call your bank and credit cards and that this caused such a flipping mess for you and that your day of relaxation was totally ruined by someone with a master key to the lockers....And how about you not lie? Your managers told me that both housekeeping ladies have master keys downstairs on them. You made up a huge lie that someone would have to come upstairs to your manager to get the master. How about if your customers get confused multiple times a month and place things in the wrong lockers, get new lockers?!?! How about you not call me hostile and upset after you just repeatedly insulted me?! Have to add in that when I said what do you think as the owner would be best here? She literally said, "well I usually call and apologize like I just did and offer to put a SMALL gift card on file." She emphasized small. It's laughable how terrible that phone call was. I just had to hang up because I was beyond tired of the insults at that point and very tired of her blaming me for the initial locker issues. She can take the very small gift card and...well, shove it. Unfortunately for Tammy and Escape, your reputation for protecting belongings and being kind to customers is RUINED. You had every opportunity to be polite and truly concerned over my downright scary and terrible experience. And you really still should be. You have a thief on staff. No one ransacks a locker for fun. Too many other great spas, massage therapists, nail salons, hair salons, and aestheticians in this awesome EVER-growing capitalistic town to bother with your unethical staff and your customer NON-service attitude.

Very nice atmosphere.

Amazing experience, I would highly recommend! Staff was so sweet and the massage was amazing as well as the soak!!

Christina Deaux

I have been going to Escape for many years now for lack of other options. For the most part the atmosphere is very relaxing and the massages have been great outside of a few hiccups every now and then. The facials are not my favorite, they feel more like an overpriced sales pitch, but the body scrubs are excellent. However, today I had an appointment to get a body scrub that I made a few days ago, and they waited until a few hours before to call and tell me they double booked. There was nothing available for a replacement appointment over the next few days and there was no consolation for the extremely disappointing inconvenience. Its a shame that a nice place with such potential has the worst customer service.

Michael Crocker

Great massages and the waiting and changing rooms are really cool.

I normally go to Tiba Nu to enjoy all of my spa treatments and have been a loyal customer of their services for decades. The staff at Tiba is amazing and the owner has been a staple in Green Hills for years. However, I received a gift card for Escape Day Spa in Bellevue for Christmas and decided to try them out against my better judgment. I arrived at my scheduled time (8am Saturday) to find that my services were canceled by staff. After explaining that my appointment was only prompted by a gift card and that I had reservations about leaving my established day spa, the manager on duty offered no explanation regarding how the error occurred and provided no remedy outside of offering another service at 9am. My schedule was tight because I was leaving town so the 9am time slot was not an option. I am certain that small business owners do not want to set the precedent that allows their first time clients to walk away completely confused by their practices and determined to never return. However, when no reasonable explanation of a business initiated cancelation can be provided and no resolutions are afforded that accommodate the consumer you have to believe that their reputation is not their first priority. If you are looking for amazing services and equally competent staff please patronize Tiba Nu. I am now the proud owner of an Escape Day Spa gift card that I never intend to use.

Lilly is a gem and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a relaxing and replenishing experience. She's simply wonderful.

The spa is downstairs so you feel really disconnected from the real world and submerged in your spa experience. Plus there’s a steam room so I always get there early to spend a little time in there relaxing before my treatments.

Worst hair cut and dye I have ever had. Stylist had no personality and cost was absurd. I left crying and out $300+ for a terrible balayage and a trim, that was not what I asked for. I let the stylist know multiple times that my hair holds copper and needs toner, I'm not a stylist, but I know my hair, she chose to not tone me and I left their like a copper penny, and had to pay someone else to fix it. As I left, the front desk asked about my experience and I simply stated, "awful" and they replied back with "oh, I'm sorry, have a good day!" Should have stuck to their spa services as recommended to me

Katie Ledbetter

Great experience! Loved my massage with Landrance- perfect amount of pressure and Yelena gave a FABULOUS mani/pedi.

The therapists are great, but the atmosphere is so dingy. I hate being in a basement under a freeway overhang looking at a movie of the beach. Its just dank. Don't recommend

Quiet place to relax. Therapist are very personable and professional.

This place has it all. I went in for my first facial and was blown away by the size and amenities. I'll definitely be back for a massage soon! The staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable right away.

I bought a gift card here for my wife as a birthday present. My wife decided to spend some of her gift card on a hair cut. After spending $300 to get her hair dyed and trimmed, she came back with barely any change and got exactly the opposite of what she asked her. She wanted blonde streaks and instead received a dark strawberry blonde color (from the hairdressers advice who disregarded what she asked for entirely). After waiting 1 week to see if she could notice any real change in her hair color, she was extremely dissatisfied. She decided to contact the salon in hopes of getting her hair fixed, or AT LEAST dyed the color that she initially wanted. After her hair dresser, *Carly*, spoke with her manager (name unknown), they decided that they would NOT re-dye her hair or even refund a PORTION of the cost of the haircut. The only service they offered was a $50 "dye around the face". What does that even mean? All-in-all, my wife and I were both extremely disappointed. Not only in the way that her hair turned out, but because of the lack of professionalism by the staff and management about handling an unsatisfied customer. If you go here, the only thing I can recommend is the massages. DO NOT USE THE SALON. Also, don't expect the management to take care of the situation if you're unsatisfied. You get 1 Star from me. And that's only for the masseuse.

I have been going to Escape a couple times a year for massages for the last 5 years or so. I feel like lately, it has gone downhill a bit. Maybe it is the fact that is more crowded, and therefore, less relaxing. Also, the people at the front desk are really rude. I'm just not as impressed as I was when I starting going there for massages. The massages are always fine, and the therapists are friendly. It is really expensive and I just want to leave feeling like a million dollars. Lately, that hasn't been the case. I feel like there are better options in Nashville.

I wish I could have escaped this terrible experience... I went in for a haircut and the sytlist and I agreed on 1 and 1/2 inches... about 3 hours later I was missing 4 to 6 inches of hair. It didn't really occur to me until I started receiving comments from friends and family such as, "What did you do..." and "Wow how much did they chop off". It really hit me so I called Escape and the manager said I could come in and see if they could do anything. Aside from losing all my length, the cut itself was also awful, so I felt pretty optimistic about going back for round 2. So then I drive 30 minutes to the salon and they can tell me that there is nothing they can do because no haircut will make my hair longer (duh?). I was prepared for this, so I brought in several photographs of my hair days before they chopped it. I explained that the stylist and I agreed on 1 and 1/2 inches and since there was clearly a drastic difference in what she actually gave me, I would like a refund because their services were not what I had agreed to pay for. THIS is where I really started to have a problem with Escape. The manager tried to tell me that I had an emotional attachment to my hair and that my hair probably needed the 4 - 6 inches removed.... wow... YES I have an emotional attachment to my hair. I LOVE it. Why else would I shell out $100 to get it cut? "Probably needed 4 to 6 inches"... well if I want to have dead ends, that's my objective. Not the stylists or the managers. Then the manager shooed me out and said she would think about the refund and she'd get back to me. So in 2 weeks I called... got put on hold for over 20 minutes once they confirmed that it was me... "the one that wanted a refund" Tried 2 weeks later and got put on hold again. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Escape salon, it would be too cruel

Hands down one of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had with a spa! The quality of staff and the quality of the experience was phenomenal! My husband and I had the body scrub, couples massage and facials. I will be dreaming about that body scrub until I go back! My skin has never felt so clean and soft. I can’t say enough positive things about this place! Will definitely be going back!

I have to admit as a busy full time employee and mom, and graduate student, I rarely ever take time for me. My sweet cousin came in from out of town and scheduled a date for us today at Escape Spa. I had the most amazing experience! I have never had a facial and I confessed that fact when I walked in - they were super kind and explained everything. Liliana did my facial and she was wonderful, no one made me feel like I didn't know what to do. It was a relaxing afternoon - the facility was absolutely beautiful. Even if you have never been before, don't let that stop you from going, it's such a treat!

I had a flooding situation. Called the spa at 8am. Advised couldnt make it due to my current situation at my house. Instead of trying to empathize they are charging me for a service I could not go to. Said if I could have called them before hand they could have worked it out. So now I have ESP and could have told them about the flooding in my house! For Real??? I even asked could I use my deposit for a future visit. I was told by Heather NO!!! I will take this further!!!!

This spa is amazing. From the outside it just looks like a small beauty salon but then you go down the elevator into a paradise. I bought the couple's package for the massage, facial, and bodyscrub and it was all perfect. I would highly recommend this day spa to anyone.

I spent the day here at Escape courtesy of my boss. After a grueling work week, I was tired and my body hurt. Emotionally exhausted and ready to quit, I was sent here by my boss. I needed a break so badly. I spent 5 hours here at Escape and I left feeling new. My massage with David was fantastic and my facial with Kenzie (I could be wrong on the name) was so relaxing I feel asleep. I spent some time after my service in the relaxation rooms and steam room. My service at Escape was phenomenal. No one woke me up when I feel asleep in a relaxation room. None of the employees know what I’ve experienced this week in my life but my Escape service provided exactly what my tired soul needed. Thank you, Escape. I will be back.

Wow! I'm surprised by some of the reviews! My three friends and I travel yearly from different parts of the country to Nashville for a "Girls Weekend." We have always gone to Escape Day Spa and have been treated like royalty. We LOVE going there. The customer service is superior! In fact, the very first year we attended the spa, I accidently booked our services for Saturday instead of Friday, and everyone scrambled to assist us, because they knew how far we'd flown. We also love eating/having drinks at the wine bar directly across from the spa. They, also, treat us like royalty. Not sure what everyone is complaining about. We all agree it's fabulous! From, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Milwaukee. :)

I have to give one star to write a review. My appointment was for 10:00 a.m. I arrived at 9:45 a.m. No one asked if I was ok, sorry for the wait, only water. My scheduled stylist didn't show up until 10:10 a.m. It took her another 5 minutes to come and meet me. We talked for awhile about my style color, etc. Rosa did a beautiful job and was very pleasant. At checkout, I was charged an enormous amount and when I questioned the amount, I was told "That's just what people pay". I questioned the charge again and the cashier/receptionist went to ask the stylist and came back to relay "that's the amount as you got a full color and highlights". NOPE! Just highlights, still wouldn't budge on the amount, even though I questioned it again. I paid and left. Next day called the manager, explained, she asked if anyone discussed price with me, nope! She then stated she would check with the stylist and call me back. I called early the next day and by 4:00 p.m.. still no word. Called again, manager on lunch, would call back. She called back 10 minutes later and explained I was charged and incorrect amount and would be refunded. Kudos to the manager, thumbs down to the cashier!!! Won't go back, sorry!

Three of my girlfriends and I decided to have a much needed spa day. I get massages regularly at home and have an esthetician that I love but thought it would be nice to make a day of it with my girlfriends. I called to book the treatments 2 weeks in advance for all 4 of us (each wanting the same 3 treatments to keep it simple). I was asked to call back to speak to the group coordinator which I did. I spent almost an hour on the phone with her trying to coordinate the times for 4 of us to have the same treatments on a Monday 2 weeks out. She took my credit card # for an $800 deposit, all of our names and numbers and my email address to send me an itinerary. When I received the itinerary, the times had changed by half an hour- not a big deal. She then sent me an email 3 days later to say she had been trying to contact me to get my credit card number but was unable to leave a voicemail because my voicemail was full. I sent her an email back reminding her that I had given her my credit card number and my correct phone # because she had the wrong one. She confirmed both that she had run my card and that she had the wrong number. When we arrived for our appointments, they had my name completely wrong in the system. As in a different person wrong. We were taken to a private locker room which was nice since there were 4 of us. We proceeded to get out treatments and were supposed to have 15 min in between which we planned on spending together and possibly enjoying a glass of champagne. I brought a bottle which I left in the locker room to be placed on ice and requested glasses. Not only did they never ice the bottle or bring glasses, the rest of our appointments spanning the course of 5 hours were completely at random and I never saw any of my friends again until the end of the day and they had been waiting 45 minutes for me to complete my treatments due to my timing being so far off. At one point, I was in the "relaxation room" not relaxing, instead concerned that I had been forgotten when one of the therapists kept coming in asking for one of my friends. My friend was nowhere in sight but there was another woman with a similar name who had been waiting sometime. They finally figured out they had switched the 2 people. We all agreed the facial was the only treatment worth having. (Mine was done by Gail.) The rest were mediocre at best. I can't imagine the therapists are eager to come to work when their management is so poor. Our $1600 day was far from what we had planned and hoped for. I was so disappointed in the spa and when called to speak to a manager, my call was never even returned. Major disappointment and will never visit again.

Candace Newson

The sugar scrub is my fave so far. I've also experienced the hot stone and aromatherapy massages.

Kristen Ricks

I've been to many spas and this one was just...average. The relaxation spaces were a little awkwardly placed so that people were walking in and out of the room the whole time. The soak was okay, but there are two rooms, apparently - one with the cool stars overhead and one without, and I was unlucky enough to get the one without. The massage therapist was sweet, and I really liked her, so don't get me wrong...but she talked the ENTIRE TIME. I didn't want to be rude and ask her to be quiet, but the main problem was that sometimes she would talk with her hands and seemed to completely forget about the fact that she was massaging me. I probably won't go back again. It wasn't horrible or anything, but it also wasn't super relaxing.

Betty Rigsby

Love my hair. Thank you, Rosa.

I have been to Escape many times and I have to say I have never given a poor rating to ANYTHING before but today was a horrible experience. The massage was fine but afterward it was so crowded I waited for 25 minutes and 3 people to be able to get into the shower. When a worker came in I asked if there was another shower and I was directed to a 2nd shower but by then the shower water was COLD. Definitely a horrible thing after a massage. I told the front desk about it upon checking out and they just said they were busy today and had to fill up the spa tub several times and that was probably why. No offer of a discount or credit. VERY DISAPPOINTING for an upscale spa that is expensive. When you spend that much money for a relaxing day and you expect first class treatment and there is no excuse to not be able to take a hot shower and have to end the day in freezing water. Definitely will not be going back!

Michelle Bernik

Amazingly wonderful!

Theresa Bogema

Great cut and style, but easy to get in!

Robert Henderson

This one is a hard NO for me! Like others have said its kinda sad that they have become so bad because the therapists are quite likable. I showed up for my massage today at which time they let me know that they had double booked me and that I wouldn't be able to get my massage. I think the worst part is that the kids behind the counter didn't seem to care much about the fact that they had ruined my afternoon. I decided to go have a steam since I was already there, upon sitting down I felt something gewy on my hand and released someone had stuck their chewd gum on the tile..... gross.. needless to say I will not be going back. The reality is that there are plenty great Spas in Nashville and this is one of them!

TJ T

Thank you so very much for making Alana's 50th birthday so enjoyable. She could not say enough about the staff and the facilities. No wonder yall re the best in Nashville, keep up the great work and customer service. TJ

DO NOT BOOK A PRENATAL MASSAGE!!! I am 8.5 months pregnant and recently booked a prenatal massage. The facilities are very nice. However, I went to the relaxation room to relax and two women chatted at full volume for 15 min. before I interrupted to ask to keep it down - this should’ve been handled by staff, but no one came around at any point. My massage therapist came to get me 15 min late - not a huge deal, but not ideal. The therapist then relayed there was no special table nor the cushion that fits on top of the table for pregnant women. I didn’t know what to expect, but thought I’d still get a good massage, so I was ok with it. Once I undressed and got comfortable on the table she came in and relayed she had sinus issues and the sniffles. Not Ok to work on a pregnant women while experiencing a sinus infection or head cold!!!! I honestly should’ve gotten up as soon as she said that, but my desperation for a massage outweighed my better judgement. About three minutes in, I started counting the time between coughing and sniffing - about every two minutes - not relaxing! Additionally, it was a caressing massage. I laid on my sides for access to my back, but the therapist couldn’t get knots out because she would’ve pushed me off the table! This massage was terrible!!!! Side note, I was speaking with a new mom yesterday and I told her I went for a massage at my chiropractors office - which was awesome (TN Integrative Health)! And she noted that she had a terrible massage when she was pregnant. I said “me too! At escape a couple weeks ago!” And she said “OMG, that’s where my terrible massage was too - all they did was caress me.” I will never be back. I could’ believe I literally had the same experience! Pregnant women don’t do it!!!

Worst customer service ever. I showed my stylist a picture of what i wanted and she told me she wasn't able to do it. If I'm spending almost $200, it better be what i want. This spa is amazing! Took my wife here for her birthday because it is her favorite spa in Nashville. And it lived up to the high expectations! The massage rooms and relaxation areas were top notch with lots of space to lounge and real water features to help with the calming vibes. We also had a package that included lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the good quality of the food! It was a little pricey but definitely worth the splurge.

Ask for Vida if you are having any brow or lash service. She's very good and was the first esthetician I met at this salon. Today I was very disappointed, the procedure took half as long as Vida spent and it was sloppy. I have specks of black dye under my eye and on my eyelids. The esthetician apologized but said "it will fade away". I paid the same price as I paid for Vida but did not get receive the same level of service. I've been told that this salon is very inconsistent in delivering the quality of service and results you would expect. I will only schedule with Vida until I find a new salon.

This is the best spa I have ever been to, hands down! The atmosphere is so soothing. The relaxation rooms are wonderfully calming. Leah gave me the best massage I've ever had. I had a horrible experience here today. I went in for a massage and was treated with complete disregard. The power went out not even half way through my massage. My therapist was very kind and always does a great job, but she was not able to give a typical massage because the table did not go up and down so she was not able to lower it to reach me, in addition the air and music turned off so the room was stagnant interrupting our time part of which we were trying to figure out what was happening. I had no power for 40 min of my 1 hour massage! One of the great things about Escape is the other amenities of relaxation like the steam room or showers and tranquil screens which is included in the expensive price tag of their services. I had to be led by candlelight to the dressing room. When I went up to check out I let them know today was my birthday and I did not get to do all of the things I had hoped to do. The receptionist was rude and I asked to speak to a manager to explain and she came back telling me the manager said I was able to fully receive my service and that the "other" relaxing amenities were complimentary and not a part of my paid massage so they did not feel responsible. I live locally and have referred several friends and acquaintances to this spa and I will no longer be doing so. You are a profitable business Escape and you should value your customers to make sure that they get what they paid for. Shame on you.

Fabulous experience. I've visited before but this was my first time having the warm stone massage. I am literally floating now. Their relaxation areas are amazing also. Love this place!

I’ve been debating on if I should write a post or not, but after spending $300, I could not let this slide. I came in for a bayalage and trim but ended up with a highlight (foils) and VERY striped hair. I specifically wanted the bayalage to avoid the striped look. Plus, if I wanted foil highlights, I wouldn’t want them to start 2 inches from my roots. I cannot wear my hair down because it looks so bad - even if I curl it to try and camouflage the stripes, it still looks terrible! I am very disappointed in my service. On top of that, I was charged for the bayalage instead of the partial highlight which is what I got. I’m so bummed because I’ve heard some really great things about this place.

Seriously, this is the best spa I have ever been to. I do not live in Nashville but I was planning a Bachelorette spa day. I was looking for good price for services but I had no idea what it call came with. The relaxation rooms will put you in a trance. My girls and I all thought it was the best massage we ever had. Yummy refreshments and quiet atmosphere. We hung out there for 3 hours and came out feeling like we got a steal! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone and will probably plan a trip back to Nashville JUST to visit this spa.

I've been to Escape Day Spa twice now. The massages are awesome and hour long facial was amazing. The staff is so wonderful. I really love the relaxation areas too. During this last visit not once but twice my massage was interrupted by a knock and someone opening the door. I'm an easy going person though--mistakes happen.

First time going, most likely to return, nice environment

The massage won't be a full hour. They want you to get there early, but they won't call you to your room on time. The ambiance is nice, I enjoyed the peaceful waiting rooms. I upgraded the Swedish massage for a deep tissue and wish i hadn't. It's more money and it was definitely not deep tissue massage or was the lightest deep tissue massage I've ever had. I was also a little disappointed with the amenities offered. Tea, water, one shower, and a tiny steam room. It would be a nice addition if they sprayed eucalyptus in the steam room to help with allergies.

Great experienc, worth the 100 mile drive

Holy junk. Relaxing. Relaxing. Relaxing. Professional staff. Great facilities. Almost feels like you're not in Nashville. I say that with all of the love in my heart.

A decent enough spa. Nashville doesn't offer a ton of options for spas so it's kind of like "we gots what we gots" . I have had experiences here where the front staff was dismissive but the service providers are always great and friendly. I think this spa could be nicer though. It only has one shower for each locker room and a shared sauna for both men and women

I haven't even been in for my massage yet, and wouldn't go other than having a gift card I need to use before moving, but their customer service is just awful. I booked a massage with Heather, who didn't actually book my massage. I called the day of (my last day in Nashville) to confirm my massage and they "didn't have me in the books and had no idea what happened." How that happens, I'm not sure, but they did nothing to compensate the fact this was all their mistake. I had to book a 30 minute massage and use a portion of my gift card.

I did a half day spa retreat with a friend on my birthday. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had and the facial was great. Lunch was 40 minutes late, but good and the team was apologetic. The hair styling was fine, but I was charged $15 for “hot tools” on my hair. I was not told about the up-charge and was only told about it as I was paying. I have never been charged to have my hair curled when I’ve gotten a blow out before. I should have been told about the additional fee. Also, my friend was very unhappy with her blow out. The stylist basically ripped her hair around and was actually quite rude. My friend had to restyle her hair herself after we left. She loved her massage and facial as well so our only negative feedback would be for the salon. Overall I would recommend the spa but stay away from the salon - you can get better deals and better quality blow outs from other places around town.

Received 2 gift certificates for my Birthday March 16, 2015. When I called to set an appointment I couldn't use the gift certificates until the cards had processed. Cards had not processed for a month. So my gift certificates were then not able to be used until April 20, 2015. When I tired to make an appointment again they were completely booked because of Mother's Day. I thought I'll try to use them again for my Birthday once again there are no openings until the end of April. There are NO REFUNDS on gift certificates. My advise is if your in the market for a gift and your loved one loves spa days as much as I do I would not purchase them a gift certificate from here rather a Visa gift card or cash towards their spa day so they may actual go somewhere they can use it.

I went to Escape Day Spa a mess! Dawn fixed my hair to perfection and was very attentive. I was absolutely thrilled at the results I got from Dawn coloring and cutting my hair basically fixing my hair from the mess that it was from somewhere else. I would highly recommend Escape Day Spa and definitely would recommend Dawn Mink to do your hair I will definitely be back and continue to go for years to come. Shelley

I had been to Escape once before and had a pretty good experience. This particular time, I went to Escape with my Sister-in-Law on a rainy Friday night - January 23rd. I had made an appointment for Tandem massages. It was a birthday/Christmas gift for her and it was just a relaxing time for me. We were excited about it even though it was rainy. I was given the last appointment of the evening at 7:00pm and was told more than once to come early and enjoy the amenities because they closed at 8 and you would be asked to be gone by 8:15pm at the latest. I understand that for the most part. So we got there at about 6:15pm and took part of the steam room, and relaxation room. There were just a couple of issues that happened that required I give them 3 stars. Things that didn't have to happen in my opinion. When we arrived, my sister-in-law who has LOTS of hair, broke her rubber band to tie her hair up. She asked the young lady at the front desk if they had another one. The young lady she glanced around the desk and said No. HUH? Isn't this a full service SALON as well??? But we let that slide. The main I gave it 3 stars is that by 7:10pm, they still hadn't come to get us for our appointment. Once they arrived, I asked the therapist if we would get to make up our time and the female told me No. They had to be done right at 8:00pm due to policy. By the time we got started it was probably 7:20pm. So I paid for full hour massage and only got 40 minutes. The overall spa experience is actually very nice. But I think they should change their policy or close later when they have appointments at 7pm. The massages were fabulous but I wish I couldn't have gotten the entire hour or was at least compensated for the missing 20 minutes.
