The nail technician badgered me throughout my entire visit to get gel nails. I respectfully declined each time. He tried to strong-arm me into getting gel nails even going so far as to ask what difference did ten more dollars make. I will not visit this salon again. I was prepared to get a pedicure and fill-in but because of his insistence that I spend $10 extra he lost out on $30 for the pedicure.

Jason did my nails. The pedicure was fine. The manicure was the worst I have ever had. I showed them a picture of what I wanted (blue and white tips) and 3 different people working there told me they could do it. Jason tried to do the manicure three times. The first time, I ended up with blue tips and the rest of the nails were discolored purple with blue streaks. Then he tried to paint over the entire nail with blue and do white tips, but the white and blue mixed. The third time, the design is close, but at this point there were several other issues. Several of my natural nails are damaged from too much sanding (you can actually see the damage through the clear polish), my nails are filed down unevenly, there are multiple mistakes in the polish, and there is polish on my skin. At that point, he had already been working on my hands for two hours and they offered a $15 discount, so I gave up. I will not be returning to this salon and I would not recommend it to anyone else.

Worst pedicure EVER. I run a non-profit so it was really a huge treat for myself to pay for a pedicure on my birthday. They used a grater that left my feet really rough, and when they dried you couldn't tell I had even had a pedicure. If that weren't enough, my feet had small cuts on the sides and bottoms that burned, and I'm STILL, 2 1/2 months later, fighting an ingrown toe nail where she snipped down the side of my big toe. I used to get pedicures biweekly, and I've gotten my feet done in many different cities and states. I've NEVER had anything done so poorly that I PAID for. There are nail places everywhere, go somewhere else.

Very friendly staff. Every time I have visited the spa it is packed...of course, avoid the weekends if possible! Close parking is a whomever gets here first parking game...hence the only challenge.

This is my favorite salon in the area. Despite which technician I get, they consistently do a better job than most other places. They are polite and friendly, and any inter employee banter in another language (which sometimes sounds like making fun of customers at other locations) is kept to a minimum. Good pedicures, that last a quite a while, very pleased with my brow wax. Had a technician named Hannah.

Awful. Do not go to this salon. I had a free afternoon and decided to get my nails done. My nails look like a 5 year old did them. Bumpy, chipped, uneven and jagged edges. Plus, the technician used no lotion or cuticle oil throughout the manicure. She trimmed my cuticles, shaped my nails and applied polish. That's it. It took 30 minutes for both a pedicure and a manicure. The pedicure was done by someone else and slightly better, but again, as if a 5 year old did it. There was lotion applied during the pedicure, butonly applied on my calves.

I usually go around 1pm mid-week and have never had to wait more than few minutes. It is always clean, nicely decorated. Pop background music is a nice touch. The person who did my pedi was excellent. Most of the technicians I had for mani or pedi are very good and friendly - but I have experienced a couple who were not.

I can't even give stars for this.This was a negative 100 my mom took me there and they were packed and the dude there he just kept telling people to move here and there and in the waiting lounge he made me sit outside because i was getting my nails done you weren't getting your nails done however before I left i felt like i was playing musical chairs and they have a job to do and not socialize because that is what they were doing all the time and i hope they know that i will never set foot in that place again ps they thinks just by opening the door will make it better

Ok this place deserves no stars at all, me and my mom visited this place and I got a pedicure and she got her eyebrows waxed. LET ME TELL YOU this lady beat up my legs my feet and legs were very sore after, my mom said the lady was being very rough with her eyebrows and my mom’s face was red and she said it was sore. My first time here and my last. I will never come here again.

Went with my sister to get our nails done the day of her rehearsal dinner because we where trying to avoid messing up our nails before the wedding. Simple really, pedicures and acrylic french tips, that's it, no designs, no crazy looks, just simple and clean before we had to go to the rehearsal. Our appointment was at 1:30 and we got there at 1:15, got seated pretty quickly and settled in for the pedicure. The guy who did my pedicure noticed my toes where sensitive and proceeded to nag me and not take care to not cause me more pain while he did the pedicure. Then when he asked if we where getting a manicure and I told him yes and that we where going to do acrylic he made the comment that we wanted to be there all day because we didn't want gel. He was already wasting my valuable time by taking forever to finish my pedicure, my sister was finished atleast 15 minutes before I was. If I would've been there all day it was because of him, then my acrylic french tips where uneven and I had airbubbles in the polish which I have never had a problem with in the past at other salons. I don't plan on returning here, waste of my money and time.

Worse pedicure I've ever had. I only wanted a pedicure, but the tech kept asking if I wanted a manicure. I after I said no for the third time, he proceeded to do a half assed job on the pedicure which I upgraded to deluxe for 45 dollars. Cut the nails, but barely filed them afterward, leaving them uneven and rough. No nail buffing. Half assed cuticle care, emory board work and leg massage. Will not be returning.

Came here with my sister, they asked me 25 times what color after I have them a photo. We spent over 2 hours here because they got up to help other guests. The lady that was doing my sister's nails looked at me and asked if I wanted mine thin and I said yes so she told the guy that was doing mine once he got back. The man then seemed offended and snapped at me saying he didn't do them thick at all. They charged $100 for the both of us to get a full set of acrylic nails. Do not waste your money!!

Andy does an awesome job on my nails and Lynne gives the best pedicures in the world. She is also the only person in SC I trust to wax my brows! Everyone at Sparkle is super nice. The prices are great and the atmosphere is always relaxing. Would never consider going anywhere else!

Sparkle has a funny crew, wide selection of services, and fair prices. However, if they make an error YOU will pay for it. I spent $110 dollars on my sister and I's nails, and after butchering my sister's nails, the salon tech spend 2 hours correcting them when we had only set aside the initial 2 hours to get our nails done. Time is money in my (and pretty much everyone's) profession, so a gross misuse of our time should have been compensated for in even a minuscule way. The manager decided to argue instead and charged us full price even though we were unsatisfied with our nails, and correcting my nails would have taken another 2 hours away from my busy day. I hate that I will never return to this establishment, but the poor customer service leaves me no choice.

I went here to get a gel full set and I was surprised when they charged me $60 when every where else it is only $45. And then they had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to leave a tip... (who asks for a tip??) I would not have minded paying $60 if my nails did not look like crap after 1 week. It was like the gel started to desolve after a week. I will not be going back!

The technician that did my pedicure was obviously very inexperienced & the design I asked for was very very simple & it turned out to look like a 3yr old had done it. I had to go back after my toes were smeared bc apparently they did not fully dry. (I was never sat under the dryer by the way) I got a different tech to re-do the designs that were smeared in hopes that she would do a better job. She didnt work out, got a 3rd person...finally she was better but the overall experience was terrible, poor craftsmanship.

I was searching for a nice place to get my second ever pedicure. I did a lot of research online including reading reviews, looking at ratings, and proximity to me. I chose Sparkle based on the aforementioned criteria. I'm glad I did. I made an appointment online and was taken immediately after arriving and I was there about 10 minutes prior to what I blocked. My technician was John and he was pleasant. My nails look great and if I decide to do another pedicure, I'll come back here.

I went in today due the the gel polish that was done in Charleston had been peeling off. First let me say this was my 1st time there but it won't be my last. Heather was really nice and sweet. She took her time with my nails and made sure they were all even. I was given options between gel and the powder. Although, it's a bit pricey I opted for the powder on my natural nails. I love the color. The only down side was a lady had her children who were not told to sit down nor stay up front. To me it's very unprofessional for children to be in the service area especially if they aren't being serviced. Once I see how well this powder lasts I'll either edit this review or create a new review.

It has been awhile since I’ve visited Sparkle nails. I decided to stop by since I never had issues with getting in and out. It’s been 20 minutes and I’m still waiting. This will be my LAST time visiting. Posh or Bliss nail salon near exit 77 are the best. They care about customer wait time, which should be the most important factor to nail businesses.

At first they were great. They tell you to sign up for their reward program. However you never get any rewards. They use one powder and up charge and say it's gel. Just really disappointed about being lied to about simple stuff when I was a faithful customer never spending less than $50 a visit.

I’ve been here a few times and been pleased with my nails, but let me tell you about Hannah. This girl lays acrylic more beautifully than I’ve ever seen. I got a full set of ombré nails and they were the perfect color, size, shape, everything. Not to mention one thing I hate about getting my nails done is the burns from the drill. She is so careful and attentive, both times I went to see her, my hands came away perfectly unscathed. Also, I bartend so I put my nails THROUGH IT. After two weeks, the nails she did didn’t crack, chip, yellow, or lift; they were perfect aside from being grown out. I’m so happy to have found my go to nail salon/tech! Highly recommend!

They charge to much for bad quality. Went there for my birthday and got my finger nails done. Specifically asked for no gel color on my real nails and matte finish. They cut my nails down to far and one my cuticles blead for quite a while. They gave me a gel manicure and didn’t sand it for a matte finish they charged me $43.00 and the nail polish on some nails aren’t even covering the whole nail as if they didn’t finish painting them. Confronted them and they simply said ,”We don’t give refunds.”

The worst customer service ever... I've been going to sparkle nails a little over a year now the last time I went there for an acrylic fill-in I brought my desired polish with me and had 2 nails fixed. My total came to 32.00 when I figured it should have been 18.00 for the fill in and 3.00 Max 6.00 for the nail fix. But I paid and kept going. Today I went to get a fill-in acrylic and he tells me, the same guy that did my nails the time before, your fill in will be 29.00 this time I asked why. He replies bc of the length of your nails and gel polish. I told him I don't have her polish I always bring my polish , which I also have today. He tried to convince me that I had gel. I told him I would go someplace else and I will never be back. I waited 45 min and was livid. I will never go back and never suggest that anyone else goes there. In addition to this they always try to MAKE you get gel polish.... They never accept no when you tell them.

I just moved out this way and was nervous to find a new salon. I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon and although they were busy, they sat me right in a chair and someone was with me in a matter of minutes. Their pedicure chairs are very sanitary with this plastic insert that they replace after each use and there are Clorox products everywhere! All of the staff is so welcoming and provide an awesome experience! They have a huge selection of polish from a bunch of different brands. When I left, I put my shoes back on to run in the grocery store and messed up my pedicure. I came back and they fixed it without any questions asked and as I apologized they just kept telling me to relax! I'll definitely be back!

They have a good collection of nail colors and quite a few tables for manicure and seats for pedicure... But the service could be flaky. If you get a gel manicure and are ready to splurge then you are up for a good service if you go in for a regular manicure you don't always get treated that well. I go there only coz they have a good selection of colors and are not a super fancy pricy place.

Clean and friendly staff. Lots of improvements from a few years ago where it was a rush in rush out type of situation. I had stopped going for over two years. Now they also have a massive collection of the nail dip colors, gels, acrylic, color changing, chrome and tiger eye nails. They do a great job with the eye brow wax as well. Pedicure could have been more thorough. Still had spots on my feet that could have been taken care of better. Went back yesterday, girl named Sang put my flip flops back on with my wet toe nails. She bumps my big toe, then only wants to touch it up and makes it thick and pumpy. I aske her to take the polish completely off the big toe and just repolish it fresh. I am paying for the service to have my toes professionally painted and want it to look as such, and not a botch job I can do on my own. Plus I work hard for my money! She gets an attitute because I called the owner Cindy over to explain to her I want it completely repolished since she is ignoring me or choosing not to understand me. She cops an attitute and storms off. As Cindy fixes my big toe nail. So I'm sitting there with my hands in a dish soaking off my previous dip polish. Sang never returns to finish her job. Paul took over and did an Amazing job on my dip nails. Best they have looked, since I started going back. Well as he is finishing me up, Sang walks by and notices my one flip flop is still off my foot (I told Cindy and Paul I will put the flip flop on once my toe naiks are dry, not to bump them again). She obviously says something in Viatnamese to him about it and storms off again, very unprofessional! I understand being emotional and pregnant, but if you can't handle your chosen service job, then take the time off and don't do it. The fumes can't be healthy for a preganancy anyway. Sad thing is Sang has done my nails before and done a good job. But this storming off, when asking to have something properly fixed that I'm paying for is rediculous.

I use to go to Venus nail over in the shopping center... HORRIBLE SERVICE! I started going to sparkle & I absolutely fell in love! They’re fast but friendly & they make sure you’re happy! Pedicures are the bomb & they even have a rewards program! I just hate that they’re closed on sundays

Tried this place a few times will never go back. Had to be the worst experience. Simple toe polish failed. Go invest you money somewhere else. I tried more than once just to see but there still sucks!!! Slack workers and they don't make an effort to correct the issue.

I took my little girl (3 yrs old) in for a Mommy-Daughter mani/pedi date. They did amazing! Not only do my toes and nails look great but they were so gentle and sweet with her. She's been talking about it nonstop and showing them off to everyone around! Good quality work and super sweet employees. I won't go anywhere else from now on! Be sure to ask for Heather or Gabi!

Horrible experience with Andy. He did powder gel nails and painted my toes. On a Saturday. Very busy. He rushed. They were not completely painted. My French was all crooked. My finger nails and toes were cut and filed wacky. Getting them fixed and not returning. 80 bucks down the drain.

I love Sparkle. It's always clean, the instruments are sterilized with an autoclave, and there is a wide variety of nail colors and services. I don't feel rushed, EVER. I have brought my 7 year old niece and they took wonderful care of her. The low reviews are shocking to me.

I went to this salon based on a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed! Lynne did my pedicure and SNS dip on my nails. I got the pink and white manicure and I have never had it look so neat. it's not too thick and she filed my nails perfectly. I, unlike most people, do not want to have a conversation while I get a manicure or pedicure. I like to read or just zone out. Lynne respected this and only asked me questions when she needed to. She also checked many times to see if I was happy with her work. I was offered a drink upon arrival, and I was in and out with all that I had done in 1.5 hours. I didn't have to wait at all, but I did have an appointment. Highly recommend!

I wish I could give 0 stars!! My mom came in to visit me and we decided to spend time getting a pedicure. Upon arrival we were asked to pick colors. As we were picking our colors a lady came to me and said she thought I was too big to sit in the pedicure chair. I have had no problems prior to this and was mortified as other staff watched while she told me this! I would never go here and I would hope that others would not either!
