This is such a super cute spa within the Francis Marion Hotel centrally located within the heart of downtown Charleston. If you're looking for a good spa this is absolutely the best! Amanda, her entire staff , and the services were truly amazing! I came with a bachelorette party and they made sure all of us had a great experience! If you're in the area or you're planning a relaxing trip, I recommend that you check it out

I work in the beauty industry and have had numerous spa services over the years but these two literally take the best ever prize! The spa is so cozy and relaxing too. Love this place! Best spa in Charleston. They are so knowledgeable and really care about their clients. I started going for monthly facials and my skin has never looked so good. I also get my brows done here by Amanda and the occasional massage— Amy & Amanda are both amazing! They use nontoxic products and are always willing to make suggestions if needed! :)

Beautiful updates to Adagio! If you have not been in recently, I recommend you make an appointment and check it out. While the decore is fresh and inviting, the staff really shine - friendly, professional and experienced. My massage was a 10 and I rebooked to return in a few weeks.

We had an absolutely extraordinary time here. I was coordinating a group of girls for a bachelorette to all get massages when we arrived for the weekend, and Amanda and Margaret were not only accommodating but also actively looked to make the experience work for us! The schedule worked out perfectly, so we all were able to get the exact massage services we wanted, as well as hang out together in the spa. My massage with Sherry was relaxing, and I felt really comfortable letting her know what I needed. The other girls also raved about their therapists! We even got some great local recommendations for restaurants and activities that really added to our weekend activities. Highly recommend coming here either as a group or individually - what an excellent place!

We were on vacation in Charleston SC and one day on our trip we had a raining day. My friend and I decided to go for a SPA for a message . We so lucky to pick SPA Adagio It’s located at the Francis Marion Hotel. The atmosphere, aroma and music was very relaxing and professional. When I walked through the front door I instantly forgot about everything outside the building. Amanda help us to pick our package she is such a delightful person. I had a Traditional massage and a sugar scrubs (Vanilla & Lavender) it’s been years that I felt so great. I had the most Satisfying experience. Everyone in SPA Adagio are extremely professional, educational & thorough. I had Danielle and my friend had Sean for our message. Danielle took her time & wasn’t short on her massage including upper back & shoulders either. I would highly recommend her & SPA Adagio to anyone. My friend was also pleased with Sean. The price are reasonable. We planning to go back to Charleston and my first stop is SPA Adagio. Amanda thank you for providing a great ambience.

On a girls trip looking for a massage place... tried my top three places but they didn't have a spot so landed here. 4 girls for massages... firstly they couldn't accommodate 4 massages so one of us had to do a facial which was also 60 mins. Girlfriend mentioned the facial was very good and she liked it. Coming to the massage - My masseuse was good and I liked it but the room was small and congested and so was the overall place. It was a good experience with eyes closed and average on cost too but when I open my eyes... my calm experience was disturbed a little. I wouldn't mind coming here again as a backup choice which is what it was but I would definitely try to go to other places first. My masseuse was however very good and she put in a lot of effort on me which I highly appreciated.

Amy is amazing! She worked on all the knots and kinks. She did such a good job, I scheduled a second massage before I left. I did not need another massage for 3 months! She worked out everything. I so wish she would move to Raleigh because Charleston is too far to go just for a massage. She is well worth whatever it costs. I will go back as soon as I can because I love Charleston and Amy's massages.

Guys, yes Men'zs can go to the Spa. Spa Adagio is located inside the Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston, on the corner of King & Calhoun streets. I arrived four days early to Charleston for a conferences at the Francis Marion. I walked this city end to end, side to side. After the flights, walking, along with a presentation I was here to do that was bouncing around my head, the body needed balancing. I made an appt online, which was easy to do, as you can see all therapists available: dates/times. You can choose the type of massage: they offer an full list of massage styles. Spa Adagio also offers an extensive list of available services such as facials, etc. I booked with Jim for a 90 min deep tissue. I received an email confirmation from Margaret. She was great checking in with me and following up. Jim has the magic hands. My therapist, of 15 yrs, back home retired (he was great). Jim is the first, I've had of many, who was of the caliber of my therapist. I identified the sore points: with me it's always like a kite on my back: shoulders, to below shoulder blades, to lower back, and then my forearms and hands. Jim covered it and worked my shins and feet as well: walking can do a number on you. His massage was Great: highly recommend. I recommend the spa as it's a good location, both Jim and Margaret were engaging and fun to talk with. So, stop hunting and book your appointment.

Spa Adagio gave me eyelashes others envy!! This summer, I get to ditch my eyelash curler and mascara by getting a lash lift. I love the location of this spa-it’s centrally located in the heart of downtown Charleston in the Francis Marion hotel. The staff is professional and my service exceeded my expectations. I received an hour customized therapeutic massage with Jerome on October 8 that changed my life! The hour service was a full-body treatment that awakened circulation from my scalp all the way to the space between my toes. He combined mild stretches with techniques that varied in pressure depending on the muscle group on which he was focusing. I was comfortable telling him things like "Oh, I like that" and "Feel free to use a little more pressure." He was very receptive to communication and feedback which made the experience match my unique preferences and needs. Being a "newb" to the world of spa treatments, I was a little nervous going into the tranquil, dimly lit room. However, Jerome was professional and polite which made me feel at ease as I laid on the heated massage table. I got the massage during my lunch break; needless to say, I floated through the rest of my work day and will be returning.

My favorite new spa!!!! It’s so convenient, downtown, always find a meter available outside. The staff is super friendly, love the new interior! I get facials, eyebrow and bikini waxing here. My esthetician really cares about doing a great job. She gave me tips to avoid breaking out after a waxing and I am happy to say, I never break out any more. SO HAPPY with Spa Adagio!!!! Thank you!!

I came to Charleston for a weekend getaway to relax and rejuvenate, and I booked a room at the Francis Marion because Spa Adagio is attached. I went two days in a row - that’s how amazing they are! Amanda is incredibly welcoming and gave me insight on all they had to offer (she also gives awesome advice on what to do and see around the area)! The massage was excellent and was exactly what I needed. The following day I got a facial - also fantastic!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs to be pampered! :)

Wow! Just amazing! I got a hot stone massage with, i believe her name was Pearl. (Im horrible at remembering names) It was exactly what i needed. She did an incredible job. I felt amazing after. And their customer service was amazing. Great staff! Everyone is super friendly!
