Just got the most amazing 90 minute massage with Dorene. I had previously had her work on my back and neck issues and she helped me once again! I love how she customizes her massages according to the clients needs. She even walked on my back. She is also an herbalist and shared some tips on what herbs would help me with my various issues. It was an overall great experience and I will be returning the next time I’m in town!

I absolutely LOVED this spa! The atmosphere was inviting and friendly. My boyfriend and I both received a Swedish couples massage. Hands down this was one of the best massages I have ever received. Both massage therapists were excellent! I have never fallen asleep during massage but I fell asleep three times during the massage. The ladies were so professional and nice. They gave excellent recommendations for restaurants which we tried. The price was reasonable for the service. When I return to Hilton Head I will return to their spa!

She even took time afterwards to talk about some things i could try to take that would help with my neck pain. Also we exchanged great movies that the other has not seen yet. THE BEST!!! I always get a massage from Dorine when I am in Hilton Head Island - the tranquility of the spa, the skill of the massage - unbelievable!! I was able to walk much better after this massage - she is amazing!!! The price is also very reasonable for the atmosphere and skillset Dorine and her staff administer - I PROMISE you will NOT be disappointed - so go treat yourself - you deserve it!!!

Don't want to even give one star. Ruined my birthday by forgetting to tell their esthetician that I was booked for a mani, pedi and facial. Finished my prenatal massage only to find out my "day at the spa" was going to be cut way short due to poor management. Sweet husband who planned the day had even taken off work so I could go and he could watch our daughter. After being told not to pay for the massage and waiting around for esthetician who I was finally told wasn't coming, I left. Owner/management didn't do much to try to rectify the error as evidenced by offer of complimentary body scrub ONLY if we paid for the services I didn't even receive and place them it all on a gift certificate. Stay away from this "spa".

Very serene and calming atmosphere. I tried reflexology (with an hour massage)for the first time and what a wonderful experience. Doreen explained what my feet were saying about me - and to my amazement was spot on . Staff was very sweet and accommodating. I never felt rushed- which I am not used to. My sister experienced the massage with reiki and she totally enjoyed the experience. My advice - try something you have never experienced and open up your mind. You will not be disappointed.

This spa is the definition of Zen. Calm doesn't even begin to describe it! I went in thinking I was going for a massage and got so much more! Dorine gave the best massage and even better conversation. I learned a lot from her and really enjoyed my time there. The massage was head to toe with a face mask and steam shower afterwards. The mask was made in-house of different clays. It left my skin feeling smooth, tight and looking vibrant! The steam shower was heavenly. I wish I could have one installed in my home. Even though the spa is in an office plaza, you really forget that once you walk in the door. Seeds of calm has such a warm and inviting atmosphere...it's cozy like walking into a beautifully comfy home. Absolutely love it!

My daughter and I had an appointment on Mothers day for a facial and massage. The ladies were very welcoming and the place itself very calming. We both had the best experience ever. My friend and I arrived on HHI on Wednesday. My friends back was killing her from sitting all day flying. I reached out to Dorine and she got back to me very quickly and stated they were extremely busy but she would see what she could do. She was able to get us both in the next day! I saw Ani and had a massage like none I’ve had before and Marty was able to assess my friends back issue and really helped her out. Dorine is a sweetheart and her staff is superb!! Wish I lived closer and will definitely go back if I’m here next year!! And they offer many services other than massage. You must check them out!

Not a great experience. Pressure was so deep, even after I spoke up, to the point I had bruising for days post massage. A gift certificate from a relative that lives in Arizona, website must have been impressive. Then the topper today, a 9:12 AM cancellation for an 11 AM appointment becasue the owner had a settlement to attend? Find that excuse hard to believe. No compensation for the last minute cancellation, as all of her massage therapists were fully booked? What about my day that was booked? I had a chiropractic appointment immediately following my massage for better manipulation.....how'd that work for me? I'm sure my leftover $30.00 will not be refunded to me. NOT GOING BACK.

I got the 30min relaxation massage and it was fantastic! My therapist even gave me a free sample of the type of massage where they step in your back. It was intense but I really liked it! It's something I wouldn't have tried on my own but I'm happy I experienced it. I'd do it again for sure! Overall there was ready cute decor, nice staff, and a peaceful atmosphere.

We are from NY and have been getting professional massages for decades. We were a bit hesitant getting one in SC but needed the work after a long week of riding waves and sand sports. My wife and I had a couples massage and it was, hands down, one of the best massages we have both ever had. There is a “get it” factor when giving a great massage and both ladies had “it”. Their experience and care comes through in their technique which we’d both rate a 10. Do yourself a favor - get the 90 minutes massage and thank me later. I only wish we would have gotten one at the beginning of our week so we could go again at the end! Thank you Seed of Calm, we’ll see you in Summer of ‘19!

Had a package booked for my girlfriend and I for almost a month as a relaxing day as I was planning to propose that night. 4 hours before our appointment I got a call cancelling the appointment. The therapists were sick but that isn't a last minute issue in which there is an excuse for 4 hours notice. As a result it threw our whole day out of sorts and left us scrambling to find something else to do. The manager was apologetic but still a very bad experience and not at all relaxing. Will not be going back ever again
