I live in NY and I was trying to plan a wedding in SC. I was looking for a salon close by that could do hair and makeup for my sister and I. I came across Ocean's Edge on the internet and read the reviews. Not having an opportunity for a pre-wedding day appointment for a trial run, I went in on the day of the wedding not really knowing what to expect. Well, they were wonderful. My sister and I were both extremely happy with the results. We told the stylists what we wanted and they delivered 100%. I highly recommend this salon and look forward to using them again in the future.

My fiance and I are new in town. We were searching for the right person to cut our hair, and decided to go to Ocean's Edge Salon and Spa. The staff is very courteous and professional and they made us feel right at home. Couldn't ask for better service. Amanda, who cut our hair, really took the time to find out what we wanted, and did a wonderful job. We are both very happy with the results. Ocean's Edge Salon and Spa is very highly recommended. My fiance adds: the interiors have a pleasant, spa-like vibe. It was also a very nice touch when they offered us coffee, tea, or wine when we arrived. My fiance chose wine.

I must RAVE on Amanda!!! She is a miracle worker.!!!! I had a very bad experience with a previous hair stylist. My hair was cut very short and I in an attempt to “lighten” my color - they turned my entire head of hair that was left Orange. Amanda worked so hard with the tiny pieces of hair I had left - but she turned a disaster into beautiful highlighted/low lighted hair that I was so proud of. I love this girl!!! Her smile is contagious and her warm personality makes you relax and feel at home and in qualified hands.

I had to come to MB unexpectedly. I was past due for a color and cut so I did some research on line and found Oceans Edge Salon. Needless to say I was apprehensive....I have short fine hair and have had many hairdressers screw up the cut. My appointment was with Maureen, whom i felt relaxed with right away. She LISTENED to what I wanted from the color and what I was trying to achieve with the haircut/style. She nailed it!!! My hair has never looked better, both the color and cut are spot on. I highly recommend Ocean's Edge and Maureen....I wish I could have taken her home with me.

Absolutely love OE @surfsidebeachsc! The beach decor and the friendly service are just what you need at a salon by the beach. I must have talked to every stylist at least once throughout my visit. Everyone is very personable and my hair has never been prettier. I get asked all the time who colors my hair and I haven’t had that in a long time! Love love love my oceans edge!

I was very nervous about getting my hair colored since I had been using the same place for about 18 years. I recently moved to the area and didnt know where to go. After seeing the reviews of Ocean's Edge, I decided to try it. Amanda and Maureen asked me questions and made me feel really comfortable. Amanda took the time to share what she was doing and why. This place came recommended to me by a friend who also frequents there and I'm forever grateful for her recommendation! The atmosphere there is one that welcomes anyone & sets the scene for a relaxing & good time! My stylist, Courtney, took the time to listen to me first, then we discussed her professional opinion, which I totally connected with! It's my new place people and to top it off their prices are reasonable & some of the best on the beach! What an incredible impression from my very first visit! Upon arrival, I am always offered various goodies and hot or cold drink. The staff is so friendly and personable. By my third visit, the entire salon had been completely refurbished with warm colors and inviting style - it’s beautiful! Always have great conversations with Amanda, who starts off each session with the most therapeutic shampoo! So relaxing! Amanda listens to each of my wishes and follows them perfectly, I always leave very happy! The owner, Maureen, couldnt be any more personable! Great, comfortable, beautiful, stylish salon with great, professional, talented staff. They provide an array of services, all with comparable pricing to those of NJ.
