After a very stressful month yesterday I treated myself to a massage with Kristina followed by a facial with Detria. Both were absolutely wonderful and I could not have been more satisfied. I normally have difficulty in relaxing but Kristina put me into a good state of relaxation and I do believe I fell asleep on Detria while she gave me my facial. The entire facility is immaculate and the remainder of the staff I met were welcoming and pleasant. Melinda it was wonderful talking with someone else from Southern Maryland

I really enjoyed the anti-aging facial, however there were certain features left off. The menu stated it would be a 75 minute facial. Mine lasted less than an hour. The menu also stated there would be extractions and upper body and facial massage which I did not receive. I feel a little cheated for the price I paid. Thank you so much for explaining what happened and refunding the difference in the price of the two facials! I appreciate your prompt response and do look forward to having more services at your spa.

I made my appointment with "Franke" and have not regretted it one bit. She is an awesome stylist, listens to what you want, she is professional, has a pleasant personality and is fun to be with! I live in Chicago, but had my wedding in North Myrtle Beach. I was a really nervous picking a salon just from online reviews, but I could not be happier. Melinda was so nice and helpful when I called to make the appointment. I emailed her picture ahead of time. When I arrived Carly had all my pictures printed out. I wasn't expecting her to do my hair exactly as the picture,but I wanted to give her a general idea of what I was looking for. To my amazement Carly was able to make my hair look exactly as it did in the pictures, which is not easy given I have a lot of very long hair. Carly also did an amazing job with my makeup. I cannot say Thank you enough.

Really wonderful spa. I enjoyed my first ever massage today; the High Cotton Massage, it was wonderful! My masseuse was professional and very skilled! I felt so pampered. :) The atmosphere there was very calming. I believe my masseuse's name was Tammy (I'm terrible with names, so sorry) but she was great! Atmosphere was good and the staff was nice but wasn’t impressed with my massage, I was asked what my problem areas were so she could work on them more but she didn’t, just didn’t feel like a professional massage and it was supposed to be an hour massage but was cut short by about 10 minutes , I definitely won’t be back

I read all the reviews before choosing to go to Melinda’s Spa. I do believe they have wonderful massage therapists, esthetician’s and hairdressers. I have to be honest with my experience and do not like conflict. I went to try injections. Thought it would be nice to do something fun and different for myself. I did not feel a nice welcome as many have posted and maybe it was just the day. I consulted with Dr. King and asked what might be a good start to help some lines in my face. She suggested the cheek lines might be a good start. I decided to spend $500 for this service which is a lot for me but was excited to maybe do something special for myself which I don’t normally do. I had the injection and did not notice any change in my face. I was told I would notice a definite change and I just never did. I contacted Melinda Sue and she said you have to let it settle for a week. So I scheduled a week later to meet with Dr. King. My before and after pictures showed no change in my opinion so I discussed this with them. They said well we said it might take two injections to receive results you were looking for. I did not ever say I want a certain result. I wanted a simple improvement and had none. I sent pictures before and after to my daughter and friends and asked at the Spa I work with and nobody saw a difference. I kept saying there is no change at all and I was very upset at how the girl at the front desk kept rolling her eyes and acting like I was just difficult when I am far from difficult. I am nice to everyone and was just simply being honest. I was told we can give you another injection for another $475 and we are so sorry you did not get results you wanted and seemed to blame me for me stating a fact that nothing was accomplished with my first $500 spent and I put it in their hands to decide what would be right to do and they said obviously we can do nothing. I said I see that. I am not impressed with this experience and how I was treated. I asked for the doctors before and after pictures she took and she said no those are mine. So she knew nothing changed or she would of been confident to let her client have them. I am sure this spa has other wonderful things to offer but I am never going back and I wasted $500 dollars thinking I was going to a reputable place. Please consider going elsewhere for injections.

For years I wanted permanent makeup. I have naturally sparse brows, so the idea of not having to fill them in with makeup every morning would be great and I was never good at applying eyeliner, it always ended in chaos. I chose Melinda's Med-Spa & Salon after doing a lot of research on the web. The high standards of quality, services and prices appealed to me. I had my first visit about 3 years ago. I had eyebrows and eyeliner applied. I just recently returned to have a touch up. Frankie is my makeup artist and does a beautiful job. She makes sure you are comfortable and she takes care of you, gives you verbal and written aftercare information.
