Omg what an incredible salon Suna and her staff are amazing went for my cut yesterday was very nervous I have curly frizzy damaged hair and could never seem to find someone that could cut it correctly so that I didn't leave looking like a cotton ball lol however that changed quickly upon meeting everyone and the knowledge they possessed about all hair textures my hair looks truly amazing and another thing I have never had a good blowout EVER Until Suna I always just leave salons with wet hair rather than feel embarrass about their styling technique but Suna said no let me check my cut and to my amazement my hair looked better than when I blow it out so needless to say I Love this place and highly recommend going here for all your styling needs

Suna is a goddess. Tried this place for the first time today. Atmosphere is super relaxed yet professional. It is clean. I came in with 7 months of grow out from a super short pixie cut and wasn't exactly sure how to describe what I was looking for. Suna took my vague explanation and gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. She and the rest of the staff are very friendly an welcoming. I will definitely be a repeat client.

I will be coming in with her do to my hair everytime i need it done!!! Also Suna is Amazing she looked at my picture of how i wanted my hair and knew she and ashley could get exactly what i wanted done! It is expensive but you pay for what you get right?? I love my hair and all the staff can't wait to come back!!!

Not the "Same old Same Sad Salon" Excellent quality, a brilliant studio with private areas and a passionate personnel. Absolutely Terrific! I brought my wife in who really needed uplifting. When we arrived they were quick to help us out, we were expecting to hear they couldn't help us because of the color transition we were attempting to make. We wanted to go from faded pink to red and yellow "fire like" coloration. This would require some of the pink to be turned into yellow without completely falling apart among other issues. After finding out that the Pink (Splat) dye she had used was a very hard type of dye to remove or work with we were starting to feel a bit hopeless. The employees reassured us that they could try, but couldn't promise anything due to the circumstances. Then they got to work fast. We showed up not long before they closed with a stressed out wife, three kids and a short tempered Dad. Normally I would have stayed home with them, but we were already out, and honestly, we didn't expect to get the job done at the time. They not only handled my heathens constant shenanigans, but kept her mellow, provided the uplifting she needed and performed the best color we could have hoped for. It was an experience my wife will surely never forget, and certainly better quality than we could have received any where, short of calling Mariah Carrey for her personal hair stylist. We will be returning here from now on. Try this place out, can't go wrong. These pictures really don't do it justice as the finished product is even styled here. You can see the pink became yellow as asked.

I was looking for a new salon in Summerville for a haircut. I always read the reviews before trying new places. The reviews here were all fantastic!!!. I made a same day online appointment with Kaitlyn. SHE WAS AWESOME!! Very energetic, friendly, funny and she gave me EXCATLY what I asked for and then added a little sas to it!!!. The shop is beautiful they also sell jewlery ( I had to purchase earings before I left for $5,,,can't beat that) I have found my new salon!!! Thanks Kaitlyn,, I will see you next week for color!!!

This place is wonderful. I'm an attorney, and because of my heavy work schedule, had let my hair grow too, too long. Because of this, I was being harangued by judges and by clients too about having "unprofessional hair." I thought I'd give this place a spin, and my, my, did I ever get my money's worth. Was still pretty nervous because it's a new place for me and I can be picky about my hair, not to mention a salon with 100% 5star reviews sounds too good to be true. Well it's not! This salon is amazing. I had the pleasure of having Tracy work on my hair. She is brilliant! Put me 100% at ease and I felt like I had been going to her for years. I LOVE MY HAIR. And she was a talker, I love that. It can be awkward getting your hair done somewhere new and there's no talking...so it's just weird silence the whole time. Tracy is amazing! I had a hair emergency (diy bleaching gone bad) and she got me from orange and yellow to a nice natural dark blonde! She is very through and experienced! I have to say this was my first good experience at a salon. I plan to chop my long locks soon and when I do I will be booking Tracy again! Leave it to a master colorist to fix a bad dye job!

Today was my 2nd time getting my eyebrows threaded by Suna and I can't express how grateful I was for her, and the whole staff. A huge THANK YOU to the lady who walked my son back and forth outside while I was able to get everything done. While he's normally a very content child, today he wasn't having any of it. My daughter's regular stylist cancelled last minute in Mount Pleasant, so with a sad 6 year old we took a chance on a new salon. Briona was our stylist. I was hesitant about letting her cut my daughter's hair. I noticed she didn't section it off and cut her hair as our usual stylist would, but hey she is the professional... I have attached several pictures of my daughter's hair... You will notice it is uneven in back. It literally slants... You will notice just a total mess... she assured me she was experienced in children's hair and my daughter's hair type.... So disappointed and let down as I knew better then to try anyone other than my daughter's original stylist. I do not want a refund. I simply want you to be aware of the botched haircut your stylist gave my 6 year old..

Not sure how this salon is rated so high. I went in for a natural look and left 5 hours later with my hair Barbie doll and extremely damaged, ever single strand from the ears down like I dipped my head in bleach. Spent hundreds- just to go back to have it "fixed"---was then charged again. Not pleased. Won't go back. Won't recommend. I made it clear it was days before my wedding and photos and I typically don't color my hair and wanted it natural. I was completely devastated. I would give a zero star if possible.

I have to say that I gave this salon very high hopes. Since in the past I have had bad haircuts. And once again that is just what happened. I asked for a certain hairstyle bought in a picture and left with nothing that I asked for. It’s like they cut it the way they wanted and didn’t listen to the customer. I am now stuck with it until it grows out. It was cute and all because it was styled and done. But once I’ve washed it and took a good look at it I can say that I am completely unsatisfied.

My hair was so dry and damaged. She helped me choose a color (i was sitting on a the fence between colors). She deep conditioned my hair, colored and styled my hair. She was funny and made me feel like I had been a long time customer. Everyone at Maxx was wonderful. The studio was spacious and meticulous. The staff was really great and sherie was simply amazing. I specifically got my hair cut by LORI BARTON and she is phenomenal! I take pride in the long locks that I have and always worry about going to a new stylist for fear that they'll chop too much off. Lori made me and my hair her number one priority and took great concern in my needs. She always asked before she cut and when I left, my hair looked wonderful and I could feel how great it looked! Even days after I just started to love it more and more. Lori is in this business for a reason, because she NAILS IT!!

I looked up and saw a billboard for Maxx Studio and then researched them online and decided to just do it. Tracy Anderson was able to fit me in shortly after I got there. I was greeted by friendly staff members and showed them a picture of what I was wanting and Tracy was so happy to offer her expertise and she made me feel comfortable right away. I am extremely happy with my cut, highlights and custom pink she created for the streaks I wanted. Tracy is always up to try something new and never shies away when I bring her something difficult or radically different from what I currently have. I have been a customer of Tracy's since January 2014, and every time I've seen her, I've been more than satisfied... I'm ecstatic with her work! She is fun to be around, does great work, and really takes pride in her work. She takes her time - even if she's busy - and makes sure to do a good job before turning you loose. She always uses great products and my hair always feels so soft and much less damaged than when I first come into the salon. I would of also like to have known the price of everything as we whent along instead of after the work was done. The price is reasonable not complaining on price just wish I knew as we whent along. Great salon, highly recommend Lori Barton! She is patient, persistent and a bit of a perfectionist. All great qualities to have and knows how to turn your wants into reality. Lucked out when I found her! Military spouse new to the area. You won't be disappointed.

I got a very short beautiful haircut today by Suna and i am soooo happy with the cut. I went from shoulder length to just a tiny bit longer than a pixie. I brought in a photo of the style i wanted and she nailed it! She made me feel at ease, she is funny & interesting so the time flew by for me. Thanks Suna, i love my new style :)
