Ok folks, here's the low down on this place..... From the looks of it, this place appears rather sketchy from the outside, and honestly, if it wasn't for the other reviews it received, rating it very high, I would have booked a massage somewhere else. In my opinion, if this place got rid of the overgrowth of vegetation around the building, as well as the horrid green color on the facade, it would be much more appealing and inviting. If they gave it a coat of WHITE paint and maybe some black or a beige trim, it would look much more PROFESSIONAL and clean... again, just my opinion. That being said, don't judge a book by its cover!! I had one of THE BEST massages I've ever had in my life! If you go there, ask for Francella! She is a very knowledgeable and professional masseuse who made me feel incredible afterwards! The place is very clean, has an oriental style decor/theme inside and the prices are very good. You will not be disappointed!! I'll DEFINITELY be back, the next time I'm in town! (Hopefully the outside appearance changes before then.)

Laddawan thank you for your care and educated touch. I enjoyed every moment at Majestic Massage & Day Spa from the friendly staff to the indulging atmosphere complimented with champagne and fresh strawberries dipped in melted chocolate. My mom has been having severe pain related arthritis and sciatic nerve pain. She has been in tears cause the pain meds didn't seem to work and she could barely move. I saw Majestic massage and Day Spa on yelp and it had good reviews, so I booked my mom an appointment for the next day ( Sunday) The person who worked on her was Allison. I called my mom when she got home and I could tell the difference in her voice. You would have thought my mom was on drugs the way she raved about Allison and the work she did. She kept saying "Everyone should get a massage" and I feel so much better now". My mom said Allison was very friendly. She explained everything she was doing and made sure my mom was comfortable. Thank you Allison and Majestic Massage, for helping my mom. She will be back again.

There is nothing worse than paying for a $260+ gift card for a couples massage for your parents TWICE just to hear that this place did not allow them to use it properly either time and that the scheduler was incredibly rude. I have spent over $1000 on massage gift certificates for people to this place and will never do so again.

My wife and I came here for a couples massage on our honeymoon. It doesn't look like much on the outside, and we almost bailed on our appointment, but we ended up going through with it and it was definitely worth it. Holy crap my pants that was the best massage either of us ever had. We got the whole hour of a whole body massage. Hot stones, hot towels, aroma therapy, she got my feet and even my butt. Incredible. I would recommend this place to anybody, and in fact, we're talking about making this massage a yearly tradition now....

Decided to get a massage before leaving the beach. I had a 5-hour drive home and the hour-long massage that I had prior to driving was worth every penny. Samantha is an excellent masseuse. She could obviously tell where I was hurting before I even had to say anything. She targeted in on those areas but also paid attention to other areas that I didn't know where hurting until she started in. Will definitely make it a part of my annual beach trip.

This was the best massage of my life! I get a massage every month, and I was simply amazed. I got a deep tissue massage because of knots in my back from working my desk job. J.J. used her whole body to work them out. The building is a converted house, but don't let the outer appearance dissuade you from partaking in an awesome experience. This was the first time in a long time where I have left a massage place incredibly satisfied. A definately do for a vacationer like me!

This experience was fantastic! My boyfriend had never had a massage before, so we booked a couples massage. Firstly, walking in, the ambiance is breathtaking... wood paneling, soft scent of candles, low zen soundtrack, and a water feature gently bubbling. There were these chaise-like loungers, so comfortable. I felt the stress begin to melt. Then we get into the room and the tables are covered in rose petals. The massages were great. They used hot towels and hot stones, and the tension just slipped away. My boyfriend loved it and said he felt drunk after. Great massage. Definitely would book again.

The massage was wonderful! No complaints about it. However, I used a gift certificate and when I asked about a credit for the remaining balance, I was told that there was none because it would be used for the gratuity. I gave them the certificate when I checked in and should have been told that BEFORE I went in for the massage. I left the masseuse a cash tip so with that and the remainder on the gift certificate, she ended up with a 30% tip! I won't go back. I've used gift certificates at other massage places and never had this happen. I've always received credit towards another massage or a spa product.

2016 April We went here again coincidentally exactly a year later and still loved the experience. This time my husband went for a regular massage and Brooke was awesome; I went for a Prenatal Massage and they were thorough professionals. I was a little skeptical one for being away from home and two in case something happens especially while being far away from home but they were really good. Allison rocked it again and they actually did remember us. Highly recommend this place. 2015 April This place is absolutely AMAZING or MAJESTIC should I say. We were delayed due to our hotel shuttle service dropping us at the wrong location, then waiting on the street for a cab and finally made it really late to the place. Had called them 2-3 times telling them our problem and they were very supportive. When we finally made it there, they were so helpful and understanding. Got us a Mimosa and got us started right after. It was a FANTASTIC massage and my husband and I were extremely happy about their service. We had Galina and Brittney I think who were fabulous. Once we were done, it was almost closing time and we were inquiring about the cab service since we still had to get back to our hotel. Allison who was at the front desk offered to drop us back. Now that's called SERVICE. We were extremely grateful for her gesture and would definitely come back every time we are in Myrtle. Thank You so much for your service.

Place needs a lot of outside maintenance and wasn't clean on the inside. If you like elbows digging in you then you'll be happy here but asked for relaxing massage. Nothing relaxing about someone getting on the table with you either. Overheard gossip from staff outside the room because walls are very thin and you can hear everything! Overall bad experience and wouldn't reccomend. Have gotten other massages that were much better in Myrtle Beach and the atmosphere far more inviting.

My wife and I came for the platinum package. We got the body scrub, wrap followed by the facial and massage. It was pure heaven! The staff was so thorough and friendly. We both felt about 20 years younger. I cant remember any of the staff's names, but that is because they did such good work. We were both noodles when we left. It is a small location, but clean and well maintained. If you have 4 hours to spend in nirvana, you cannot pass this up.

If it was not for the professional and unique techniques I would not be able to surf as much. The massages always gives my shoulder new life and allows me to do something I love. At first glance looking from the outside, it appears to look a not like your typical spa, but when you walk in the inside the ambience is really nice. We were greeted warmly and did not have to wait more than 5 minutes. The therapist was very professional and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend going to this place!

I have come here for a massage on 2 different occasions while vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Both times I was able to get in same day. They do a mix of massage techniques and I’m extremely impressed with what a great job they did and how great I felt when I was done. The first time I did 60 min and I was so impressed the next time I did 90 min. From the outside the building doesn’t look super nice but don’t be deceived the facilities are very clean and nice and although it’s not a really upscale place they give 100% upscale service and it’s a great value. Their price is extremely reasonable for the level of service they provide.

My husband and I visited Myrtle beach for a week. On Monday we decided to look for a massage therapist. After reading several reviews, we decided on Majestic Massage & Day Spa. We went with the couple's 1hr massage. When I tell you that they not only lived up to their prior reviews, but were even better than described. The fee was very reasonable, and they made us feel very comfortable. Explained every thing in detail, up front of what the massage entailed. It was my husband's first so he was a bit nervous, but they quickly eased that fear taking their time, and gently started our session. They started at a certain time, and ended 15min after our 1hr was up. They were very professional, punctual, enduring, and experienced. Never rushing at any point in time. They worked every nerve and muscle from our head to our toes, side by side at the same time. It was very quiet and relaxing, the mood was warm and cozy, Candles lit, with the sound of an ocean breeze. I nearly fell asleep. So trust me, If you are looking for an excellent massage in this location, you will not go wrong here. You will get your monies worth and some. FYI.... While there I saw several colors, shapes, and sizes receiving the exact same treatment.

TL;DR -- Fantastic place. Recommended! I decided to tag along with my wife and get their signature massage. In short, I probably looked like a goof walking out because I was so relaxed. With this said, if you're an amateur like me, you may want to decide what a good tip is before you get that incredible massage. I feel bad for not tipping more. They have extremely friendly employees who are professional in their work. Before we arrived, I did look at the reviews and noticed a few people talked about the outside "look" of this place. I'm not sure I understand their issue; it did not look bad. There is parking in back, so if you accidentally miss it, just circle the block. If I could remember the name of my masseuse, I'd recommend her, but it's all a wonderful blur of full body relaxation. Whether we go together or not, I think my wife and I will go ahead and make this our go-to massage and spa location.

I was on girls' weekend with 2 other friends. We wanted some pampering and found this place because our hotel didn't have onsite spa and they were the only ones open on Sunday and be able to take 3 of us at the same time. Driving up, the place didn't look nice from the outside (a little run down house). But don't judge a book by its cover! The inside was decorated Thai style with running water fountain in lobby. The rooms were nice and quaint. This place is definitely not an upscale spa but staff were very friendly and made you feel welcomed and at ease. I had Kim, who was phenomenal. I was surprised that I was not to fill out any paperwork but she did briefly ask about my health and medical history. She explained that she would be incorporating Thai style into our session and what that would mean. To my delight, she also used hot stone! She checked in about the temperature, which was a little cool . She apologized because she had to switch rooms at the last minute and the new room didn't have the heated table/blanket that she had prepared for me. She did get additional blankets to address this. I had asked for deep and firm touch, which she checked in with me to make sure it was to my preference. Overall, it was one of the best massages I have ever had...this is comparing to my monthly person back home and many other spas across the world in high-end and not so fancy places. What was more impressive was that both of my friends equally loved their massages! That's a pretty good rate that all 3 of us would rate our massages so well....so not just luck in other words. Finally, to really top off a perfect massage, we were given mimosas to relax in the lobby afterward. Another pleasant surprise was the reasonable cost. At $85 for 60 min massage, this is cheaper than the going rate back in Boston. I would definitely go back to Majestic Massage and highly recommend to others!

My experience with Majestic Massage has been highly pleasing. I found the property to be quaint and aesthetically pleasing, as well as accessible and easy to locate. The interior is soothing, clean, and stylish; the staff, likewise. The premises is an environment highly conducive to a good massage, as it were. Furthermore, the business has been flexible; I've had to alter my arrangements on a couple occasions, and I was easily accommodated. As for the services themselves, I have been thoroughly satisfied. My regular masseuse, Dusti, has consistently delivered wonderful massages, with great flare and a delightfully involved technique (and good conversation to boot). Therapeutically, this bodywork has shown great benefit for my overall health, and for that, the outfit as a whole has my gratitude. I have yet to leave the building without feeling greatly improved. Thanks to Majestic Massage and all involved therein.

My wife and I have traveled to Myrtle Beach for the last 4 summers and this is a must stop for us everytime. We were told “if something isn’t right during your massage, please let us know. We don’t want you to endure your massage. We want you to enjoy it and feel relaxed as possible.” They care about your wants/needs. We weren't sure what to expect from the outside, since the location is in a residential looking area. Upon entering any concern disappeared as we were greeted with friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. The atmosphere was soothing and serene. We enjoyed a rejuvenating hour-long couples massage, which as described on the website included a variety of techniques to target our "problem spots" and relax us. Allison and Kara were exceptional massage therapists, and explained everything so we were both comfortable and informed. After a luxurious hour we were spoiled with mimosas and water, and Allison and Kara were sure to ask how we felt and make sure we had enjoyed our experience- which we did! On vacation we recently visited and received amazing services at Majestic Day Spa. We were able to get last minute appointments and that in itself was amazing given how busy MB was everywhere during Spring Break. My husband got a hour long massage which he thoroughly enjoyed. He said it was relaxing while the missus provided just the right ammount of pressure and asked to ensure he was comfortable. I received nail services which were extremely pampering! I had a pedicure and manicure with shellac polish on my nails. The ladies who took care of me served me mimosas and made sure I was comfortable at every moment. I am disabled and they were very accommodating to assist me in getting in the pedicure chair. The foot, leg and hand massages with my nail package were great!! The ambiance is good, the place is clean and the staff are very accommodating!

Best couples massage ever plus we were able to get a same day last minute appointment!!!! The lobby is beautiful and the massage room was very relaxing and intimate. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. While we waited for the couples massage we were provided with bottled waters and mimosas. Trouble areas were identifed and we were given stretches we could do at home. We will definitely be visiting everytime we are in the Myrtle Beach area!!

Top Notch massages. Professional, very clean environment, soothing and relaxing, as well. Whether you're a local, or a visitor to the area, this is a must-stop place. Ask for Lily or Laddawan. Prices are on par or lower then other area spas. While they do offer other services, such as Aesthetics. Massage is their primary focus. And they do it very well! They are always very busy, so you may want to set an appointment, but they do accept walk-ins based upon availability. I always have fantastic massage when I'm there!

OMG!!! This place is amazing!! We drove 12 hours from KY to Myrtle Beach and Ssoooo needed a massage!! Easily found, GOOGLE MAPS took us right to it. Got a massage and a Pedi. May come back the end of the week for a facial. Highly recommend!! The prices are reasonable for the area and the staff was so professional!!

So first I loved my massage itself Stevie was amazing. However I received the single worst pedicure and manicure in my life!!! The lady was nice and I feel bad even writing this because she begged me not to complain but honestly it killed my ENTIRE VISIT she jabbed my toes and was using THE ROUND TIP OF A BRUSH TO CLEAN UNDER MY NAILS which she proceeded to tell me she couldn’t get and I had to do it MYSELF then she beat my legs so hard I just had to tell her to stop!! it just ruined the entire massage. I was already nervous when I first went in because this place is not a luxurious spa as I was used to. However Stevie melted away all my fears during the massage and facial. But by the time I finished with the pedicure I wanted to cry and walk out. the manicure wasn’t much better no wax hand treatment absolutely nothing basically filed and painted my nails. It seemed like they just got someone off the street to do my nails!!! She was not in uniform ppl kept going in and out the back door during my session I wanted to just cry it had been all so overwhelming and I got the package for Christmas it was expensive and I don’t get to do things like this often. Even tho I enjoyed Stevie by the end of the manipedi I was distraught and just wanted to leave and never return. I wanted to leave as soon as she started the pedicure but my partner had already paid for everything on the package so yeah idk I don’t think I’d ever go back if I did it’s purely for Stevie she was amazing but the rest of the experience was ruined by terrible manipedi so bad I wanted to just cry! I will probably never go back because when I left I wasn’t refreshed or feeling amazing like I should have been I called and cried to my partner that the entire experience was ruined by terrible ending!

Very professional no poor behavior... Move on corndogs... We went in with a 6:30pm appointment she had a facial and massage I had a one hour massage. They were very caring and asked often about our comfort. Offered something to drink and bathroom breaks before and after. The massage was absolutely wonderful and she loved her facial. We had a GREAT EXPERIENCE! We will return every year!
