5 Stars all the way! Where do I begin...from the moment you walk into the lobby and reception area, it is just beautiful. The reception staff was very warm and welcoming. I had a consult regarding tummy tuck and breast lift about 3 years ago but decided to have cool sculpting as it was less expensive. I was told by the technician that the fat that was desolved in my tummy would not come back. But it did come back. She also said that Dr. Weniger does a liposuction at no cost if you are not satisfied with the results of the cool sculpting. Is this still the case? Please advise.

The staff at Lux is tops! My esthetician, Megan, is amazing! I had laser for hyperpigmentation. She took lots of time to meet with me and explain the procedure I needed for the results I wanted for “age spots”. She acted as if she had all the time in the world to answer all my questions to include skin care recommendations by reviewing all my current products. I loved that she didn’t have me buy all new products but explained what was good about what I had and what else would be beneficial for what I wanted. I was super nervous for the laser but she made me feel at ease and the numbing was awesome. It didn’t hurt at all!!! I was nervous for nothing. My face looks great. I thought it would be nasty looking but it’s not at all. I would highly recommend Lux to anyone looking for the most advanced laser procedures and incredibly knowledgeable staff. Can’t wait to have microneedling next to plump up my thin face! Look no further if you want the best!

Finding a new esthetician when you move to a new city is difficult. I tried a few places in Bluffton and on Hilton Head Island before I found Lux. I was lucky to get Tavia for my appointment and I knew I found my new home! Tavia and Lux have been just what I needed in keeping up on my facial and laser treatments. They do what is right for your skin and don’t try to sell you tons of product. There is a difference between spas and medical spas. I feel that I am in great hands at Lux and my skin is the proof!

I've been to a lot of places for facials, this one was most disappointing. The room is cold and sterile, there is no ambiance lighting and they used no equipment. I have always had a facial where they place warming booties on your hands and feet, they steam your face, use a bright light to evaluate your pores and discuss different products to target different skin issues you may have. Lux did NONE of the above. The cost far exceeds what you receive. Additionally you are rushed right out when finished, not even lead to an area where you can fix your hair or makeup. This has by far been my most disappointing experience, so much so I didn't even stay for my appointment I had scheduled following the facial. I will not be returning .

I’ve tried quite a few lip specialists in London, including a famous plastic surgeon from Paris who flies over twice a week just to do lips in London...and they all pale in comparison to Susan! Susan has bags of patience with those that are scared of the needle and she is excellent at pain management and being patient with you. But more importantly her technique is excellent! I came to Lux looking for services to treat some sun damage I have but also my maintenance of Botox and filler after another Dr I was seeing closed her practice. When calling to make the appointment, Savannah was extremely patient and courteous. I never felt rushed when asking questions about services or trying to find an appt time that would fit my schedule. I first booked a complimentary consult with Maggie. Upon arrival to Lux I was impressed by the decor. Pretty gray and white color scheme. Everything is new, shiny and CLEAN. A few of my personal pet peeves were squashed, one being locations of restrooms. You always have to ask where it is, and it's usually back in the exam room area. This place has a loo right upfront as you walk in the door. I checked in and only waited a few minutes before Maggie came to greet me. The inside of the spa is just as beautiful. Doesn't feel like a bland Drs office at all. Speaking with Maggie about my concerns was much better than I expected. I came in with questions about laser and she recommended microneedling instead. She felt it would be a better choice to start with and little to no downtime. Working full time and having 7-10 days of down time is hard to do. I felt she was very thorough asking me many questions about my skin, routine, what I have tried in the past etc. I was informed in detail about the services and also asked about contraindications. I was also informed that the microneedling was on special that month along with a few other services. I liked that there are specials on different services monthly. You can also buy multiple services that are on special and 'bank' them for up to a year. Also a great thing since she recommended 3 microneedling treatments for me. I never felt rushed out the door and she spent close to a half hour with me for just a consult. I came in for Botox first with Susan. I liked her touch and technique. I am going to go back for a little bit more, but am glad she errored on the side of caution and more conservative than over done. I also like their cost overview in the room. She went over with me the number of units she recommended and had me sign a screen confirming the amount. I can't tell you how many times I've ended up at the check out shocked at my bill. Class act move Lux. Everywhere should do this. I went for my mirconeedling service next which started with more questions and a review of my consultation. I also signed a release form and was given specific instructions for aftercare and what to expect. I started with some numbing cream and after about 15 minutes she began. It didn't hurt but was more of an annoying irritating feeling. Overall I will be doing it again and trying other services here!

Terrible service! I have done the BBL treatment, did not work at all. Spent over seven hundred dollars for nothing. I went in after BBL to see a specialist to see what i can do to remove facial sunspots (since BBL didn't) and specialist just completely wasted my time! Did not exam my face/skin and simply regurgitated everything you normally hear about facials, peels once a month...blah, blah, blah. Their prices are high to include their products. I don't get the feeling this 'medical spa' know what they are doing. I am equally displease with the surgery side too. Dr. Weniger is arrogant. I went to see him for a facial surgery and he outright belittled me. I also do not have any confidence in him which is why i decided against surgery. I know plenty of doctors who are really good at what they do, yet they still treat people with respect, Imagine that! Would never recommend this business, spa and plastic surgery, to anyone nor do i ever plan to return.
