My Wife spent approximately 4-5 years researching and interviewing numerous pool builders in the Spartanburg, Greenville, and Charlotte area. This last Summer (2017) she decided upon Iron City Pools (ICP) and we have not been dissatisfied. To begin, ICP is a second generation business that has been building pools in the Upstate for a very long time. Their reputation is well known and highly regarded. Jimmy, the eldest son, has his degree in Civil Engineering and worked in that field before joining his family's business so know that you will receive excellent engineering input regarding the design and construction of your pool. Steven, his Brother, oversees and gets down and dirty with all of the construction of your pool. His crew is professional, courteous, and just plain good at what they do. With the inevitable rain days that delayed our pool's building schedule Steven and his crew put in numerous long days to make up for it and to get us in our pool as soon as possible. Their Sister, Gwen, along with their Mother, Dianne, runs the store and you can't ask for a nicer and more courteous couple of ladies. They always greet us with a smile and have bent over backwards to help us with any questions we've had that comes with owning a pool along with being very patient in teaching us all that we needed to know concerning our pool's maintenance. Regarding the few negative reviews referencing "customer service," all I can say is that our experience has been the complete opposite. Also, regarding the negative review for their prices I can honestly say I don't price everything I need via Walmart's model. We routinely get 10-20% discounts for a variety of reasons which I would wager would put their prices competitive with Walmart's. Add in the expertise you'll receive and you definitely get your monies worth. If you're in the Upstate of SC, or not too far from it in NC, you owe it to yourself to look into ICP. You will not be disappointed. But hurry! Summer is coming and they will be slammed busy with an abundance of very happy clients.

Have been a customer of iron city pools for 11 years they installed my pool . Iron city has serviced my pool every year they have always given great service I have always used their chemicals and testing process to keep my pool ready For summer fun my family has enjoyed every day.So I have to give iron city pools Of Gaffney 100% satisfaction.And the staff are just like family.

My family was insulted by the words of a male worker here. He was rude and treated them like scum . He even threw the test tube away that my family brought in and told him not to let the door hit him on the way out. He went as far to tell him that he didn't want his money there because he hadn't spent more then a certain amount of money there in two years . It bad that they treat someone like this I assume because the pool wasn't bought or installed by them. This was all unprovoked and he had already gathered supplies to buy/get his water tested. The lady that was originally helping him was very nice but he had a question about a chemical that she couldn't answer so she went to ask the male in the back to assist with the question which is when he came into play. He came out with an attitude and was very rude.

Absolutely, the best customer service! Family owned, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. They helped us determine the best size & shape for our pool according to our desires and the layout of our yard. When I have questions, which is often, they are quick to answer and help with my needs. They are professional and courteous. Cost of the pool and expected cost of maintenance was disclosed upfront so there were no financial surprises. I am thankful we used Iron City Pools and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality service.
