Awful experience. it was my first time getting a brazilian wax and i was very nervous. i looked up what i needed to do in order to prepare myself and one of the things was telling them about medical conditions. I arrived before her and sat patiently waiting when she arrived, late, she immediately didn’t greet me and started getting set up. i felt very uncomfortable and confused so i walked up to her and she then said “give me 5 min” after already being late. i told her no rush just that it was my first time and i asked if i need to do anything with signing paper work. the room was not what i thought it would be, and the place i go now, i know that it’s not suppose to look the way it does. at one point she flipped over a towel that was laying on the bed and said don’t mind the stains they are just burn marks. while still feeling awkward i asked if i should tell her about my medical condition. she then said “oh ya” i told her and she said she would not wax me. she then said that i shouldn’t go on my trip that i had planned. the reason why i was getting a wax was because of the vacation. i told her i’ve already invested a lot of money and that i was going she said that i shouldn’t even go. i left crying. i felt discriminated and judged. i then went to brazilian wax and spa by claudia and had the best experience. i felt so comfortable. they had me sign paper work and did not judge me on my medical history. also the room was a lot more clean and seemed more appropriate compared to this place where they just had a bed with a sheet on it that probably had not been cleaned, example the “burnt” towel. overall i will never return because she discriminates against people with medical conditions.

Originally I went there on a Groupon. I had a great experience the first time; which is why I booked the second appointment. However the second appointment was night and day in comparison. She stroke me as a negative person, as she was complaining most of the session. I remember it hurting soooo much more than the first time, and she was rude to me. I enjoyed the after effects of the sugaring, but I will not be coming to her.

Leah is hands down the best in the city for Brazilian waxing. I have lived in Charleston for about 13 years. When I first moved here, I found a girl that was great at Brazilian waxing. There was very little pain and at the most I only had a few ingrown hairs. Then she moved away and so I started the search to find another girl as good as her. I must have tried 8 or 10 different places and saw a few different people at each place. I was always extremely disappointed. It was always very painful and sometimes they didn’t even get all the hair. The worse part was the hundreds of ingrown hairs I would have. I just about gave up on it completely because the ingrown hairs were just so bad I could barely wear a bathing suit without them showing. A client of mine told me to try Leah before giving up and gave me her number. I have to say she did better than the girl I originally went to. It was even less painful and I kid you not, I haven’t had a single ingrown hair since going to her. She is so sweet and personable and always does a perfect job that it’s something I actually look forward to instead of something I used to dread. Her prices are also very reasonable and I pay less than places I went to that did horrible jobs. I’m not one to ever write reviews but after spending 8 or so years looking for someone like her I felt inclined to make sure someone else doesn’t spend the time or waste the money trying to find Leah.

Elyon Boutique Spa is a one-woman show and Leah is the star! We played phone tag a bit before booking my spa treatments but she was very informative and influential with helping me plan other parts of my visit (I ended up switching from an airbnb to the Palmer's Pinckney Inn - also 5 stars - because of her advice). On to the treatments! I booked a 60 minute Hot Stone, a regular facial and a Salt scrub. We she started the massage, it was clear that I needed more body work than I had asked for and she was very flexible in adjusting the lengths of the different treatments to accommodate what my body needed. I was on her table for almost 3 hours and didn't want to leave when the time was up. Leah is a total pro, very soothing, and with an uncanny ability to personalize the experience. Thank you Leah!

Sugaring is not usually fun or my favorite thing to do but I love the results. Extra exfoliation that leaves my skin very soft and as the hair returns it grows back very spars and smooth. My first sugaring with Leah was fantastic! Her technique is very precise, fast, and almost completely painless. That hasn't always been the case at other sugaring sessions I've had in the past. I was visiting Charleston this past week and had some severe issues with my neck and back due to herniated disc. I wanted to enjoy my trip so I called and scheduled an appointment for a massage. This was if not one of, the best massage experience I have had and I am extremely particular. Relaxation is wonderful however the therapeutic benefits outweigh everything and in this case, Leah knew exactly what to do to relieve so much of what was happening with me. At the same time it was very relaxing and I’m feeling the effects even more two days later.I let her do her job and be the professional choose what to use and how to work and ended up staying for an hour and a half! I also added a brow and lip wax which turned out beautifully she was very gentle yet effective and very in tune to the bodies responses. I did not have to tell her a thing about what was going on and she was able to find more than even I knew was there!
