Sometimes I feel like the massage is a tad hurried, but that could be because it's so great I want more. Other than that very minute detail, this place is amazing. It's very classy and comfortable at the same time. They are a very customer-centered business. The prices aren't super ridiculous either.

My go to place from now on! I have been here twice. The first time, Nina did an amazing job on my brows and Roberta did my mani/pedi with gel polish. I had an amazing time and I had to come back. My second time was with Darlene. She was very funny and gave my feet a much needed extra long massage! Thank you, Darlene!! :) I have been to many salons around town and this place is probably the cleanest. It doesn't smell like acrylic when you walk in - great first impression! I don't think they even offer artificial nail services which is a plus. Sumter needs a place like this so we can actually relax and enjoy our pedi without the smell of acrylic. They also offer free beverages! The con- if you do not have an appointment, the wait could be pretty long. I had to wait about 30 minutes the second time because I did not have an appointment but they offered me a drink while waiting. I will definitely make an appointment next time.

this place is primarily appt clientele. they do accept walk ins but expect them to scramble and pass you off while you wait. the atmosphere is chic as the business is named but the set up is that of a training salon. bottom dollar business. 2.25 stars for cleanliness.

Giving three stars for the decor & friendliness, but my visit wasn’t a 5 star experience. I went on a Thursday afternoon, no appointment, for a basic mani & pedi. Since I walked in, there was a 15-20 min wait. No problem. I picked out my color choices while waiting, & drank my smoothie. I was met by Annie and escorted to a pedi chair. Annie was very nice, helped me choose one of my color choices, & had nice convo. In the middle of my pedicure she informed me that she would finish my pedicure and then someone else would do my mani because she got off at 2pm. K. She wraps up my pedi, which was very underwhelming (shape job, not great, paint job, not great, dead skin removal job, EXTREMELY POOR) & confers with her co-workers, & then asks me if I can come back later to do my mani

Love Gale how she does pedicures is amazing Darlene does a great job on our nails the only thing is that well better make an appointment they're awfully busy either you have to wait or come back but rather just make the appointment

I don’t typically write reviews unless the service is great, and the service at this place is great! I was a walk-in today, and I was immediately seen. My mani and pedi by Annie were awesome and the staff was very friendly. The place is very clean and inviting. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend coming.

There are a number of things wrong with this place. 1. It smells like acrylic and seems to lack ventilation. I'm pretty sure I lost a few brain cells sitting in there through out my appointment. 2. It is way to expensive for the services offered. I came in for a mani/ pedi. My pedicure was sub par. While the chair massage was great, everything else was eh. The scrub was OK as well as the foot massage. I got the basic one which is 30$ and I've gotten way better for a cheaper price. As for the mani, it wasn't a mani. My fingers were NOT soaked, my cuticles were NOT trimmed, the filing was horrible. Good thing I picked a nice color, because the service was NOT good. Maybe, I've just been pampered everywhere else I've gone, but I will NOT be bring my money here again. Mind you, this was also not during a rush, so I would hate to see what service I would have received then.

Great service. The fist time I came was when they first open. I moved away for a year and came back. Still the same great service and the same friendly workers. Some of these reviews are lies. It doesn’t stink in there. They don’t do artificial nails. They take their time and they talk to you. Most places don’t. And I don’t think they are racist. Why would anyone say that? The manager Roberta is Mexican. Sweet lady. My favorites are Rhonda and Jennifer. They are African American ladies. A few workers are Asian ladies and they were friendly. Ann is very funny. Maybe their customers are majorly white but that’s probably where they are located. doesn’t make them racist. I think some of these prople are trolling. Oh and they give you wine. This is a great place ;)

Great service at this Spa! Ms. Rhonda's is excellent with my Pedi's! She is professional and does my feet the way I like them, not hurting me and the finished look is AWESOME. I always leave there feeling really REFRESHED! 5 STARS for Ms. Rhonda!

I pulled up 30 minutes before their closing time, they saw me park, and they preceded to turn their "open" sign to "closed" and locked their doors. I could understand if they were swamped and I was needing something time-consuming but there were no other cars in the parking lot and they didn't know what I wanted. They don't like paying customers apparently. Anyhow, I went across the street to Sumter Nails II and I'm happy I did. They took good care of me there.

First time coming here and it was amazing. I fell asleep during my pedicure. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Place is neat and clean, very well decorated and beautiful. I would definitely recommend.

The atmosphere is simply elegant and relaxing! My pedicure was soooo awesome! Rhonda Pair is magnificent, she is very professional and takes pride in her work. She has healing hands for your tired feet! And with your choice of nail color, walking on cloud 9 is awesome! Treat yourself, you won't regret it!

I just left the shop and I am still in disbelief about what I experienced. I arrived at 9:35am and there were only two cars in the parking lot. By 10am, two other cars had pulled up. When the opened the doors, we all walked in and instead of asking who was here first, the girl just starting taking names. So I said, “I don’t mean any hard but does it matter who got here first?” She said no. I was sitting outside for 30 minutes and it didn’t matter!!! Then she said it would be an hour wait. Now, I hate to bring race in this but I was the only black person in line. The two other white women also didn’t care that I was there before them. I truly felt like I was being discriminated against because of race. The other girl that was sitting there was black and she sat there like she was scared to even say anything. I literally left there in tears. I couldn’t believe that this was happening. I would never go back but if I did I guess they expect me to push everyone down to get in first. Thank you Chic Nails for reminding me of the color of my skin.

Clean and pretty shop but service was absolutley terrible, I was so embarrassed by the quality of my nails that I went home and spent almost an hour filling them down just to make them even and the same shape. First and last visit to this shop

Has some of the silliest rules. Door says Monday’s are appointments. I went Tuesday at 4:42 pm and was told they don’t take walk ins until 5:30 pm and the shop was empty. Silly! Now you lost money... Sincerely a business graduate

Exceptionally poor quality of service for the amount of money spent!! Very rude managers!! Racist at times because they cater more to the other clientele and charge outrageous prices for poor quality and service. There is no need for having an appointment either. I won’t be patronizing this business with my service ANYMORE!! Jill lacks any business etiquette!
