Blossom Salon has become popular quickly for good reason. Skilled stylists, excellent customer service. I am so pleased with my colorist/stylist (Sheila). I have thick, short curly hair which is not the easiest to color, cut and style. She's a whiz! Lovely little building/physical space. Very welcoming.

I don't like leaving low reviews but I am so disappointed after my first visit to Blossom. My blonde hair is now a horrid tacky yellow. My scalp is recovering from being burnt after they used peroxide on my very fine hair and my scalp. My scalp is now peeling from the burns and scabs. And a week after the visit my fine hair is now breaking at the ends and at the roots. It looks as though I am going to have to go and get my long hair cut considerably. I am now keeping a close eye on the condition and recovery of my hair, but it has caused quite a bit of damage.

My father was customer of Amber's for approximately 2 years before he was diagnosed with cancer which ultimately led to the loss of his hair. In the last couple of days of his life my siblings and I returned home to Spartanburg. My brother was in desperate need of a haircut and we knew we would be planning my father's funeral in the next day or so. I called Blossom and spoke directly with Amber. I explained the situation, specifically telling her that my father was about to pass away and asking her to please make time in her schedule to give my brother a quick trim so that he could look nice at our father's funeral. She refused. We ended up going to another salon in town where the stylist had a jammed schedule and was kind enough to stay a little bit later to help us out. Some people do the right thing, some people don't.

FINALLY! Tired of coloring and cutting my own hair for the past 12 years, because of the lack of talented hairstylist in the area, I finally decided to go on the hunt again. After giving one stylist pictures and three tries, I left disappointed. Seeing a waitress whose hair was perfection, she advised to see Amber at Blossoms. Well, my quest for a great hairdresser has ended. Amber listened, studied the pics, and gave me what I wanted. My search has come to an end. Thank you sweet lady!
