My long time hair stylist just moved out of the area and I was a little nervous to try someone new. I came to Rachael at Christiaan and am so happy I did!! I'm terrible at trying to describe what I want my hair to look like but she did my highlights perfectly/exactly what I wanted. I'm a blonde but am really picky about how my highlights come out, but she made me look very natural which was what I was going for. She also did an awesome job on my cut!

Christiaan Salon has been wonderful for all my services. I've been going there for many years, had several different stylists, and all did a wonderful job. I love the facials that I get there, my skin looks so much better after Ashley does her magic on it. Besides hair and facials, I get pedicure, waxing and brows. Justine did an acrylic nail on a bad toe that lasted 5 weeks! Wonderful salon!

What is not to love about this place? The salon is beautiful, clean and inviting. The staff is super friendly, and are passionate and knowledgeable about their profession. I have never felt so welcomed initially to a new salon as I did here. I had the amazingly talented Melissa for a foil/cut, I'm so happy with the results! :) She was so friendly and sweet, as was her assistant, Tayla (hope I spelled her name correctly). It was such a fun, relaxed, easygoing experience. I would highly recommend this salon, and I'm looking forward to coming over and over and over! Thank you ladies! :)

very bad service and unprofessional stuff. i booked a time for consultation for 3 times and every time i was called to reschedule and when they finally decided a time for me, i went there i had to wait for 30min to have someone at the end telling me that the person ( Emily) cant see me that time either because she is running behind her schedule. overall, this place is a waste of time and money. i don't recommend this place at all .

I was going on 49 years old when I decided I needed a new, updated look before I turned 50! Fate stepped in when I noticed an article in the business section of the newspaper about one male and one female professional who had had a “make over” done at Christiaan Salon. I was really impressed with the pictures showing their “after” look that was stylish and sophisticated, up-to-date without being “faddish” or “out there”! That convinced me that it was time for a new me! I called Christaan and asked for an appointment with the best stylist they had. I was matched up with Sheri Oates Petrarca...and I’ve never looked back. She gave me a whole new look which I loved! I am now 71 and love what she has been able to accomplish with my very thin, very fine white hair. She keeps tweaking my “do” to keep it fresh and up-to-date. I couldn’t be happier with her effort and results. Sheri has also become a friend and I look forward to seeing her every 4 weeks.

Felt I needed a change when I was pushing 50. Decided to try Christiaan after seeing a great article about them in The Journal. That was 18 years ago...guess you could say I was, and still am, very happy. Sheri has been my stylist since day one. Friendly, sweet and listens to everything I have to say about what I want, and offers helpful suggestions of her own. Everyone else at the salon is very pleasant and friendly and welcoming. The stylists are always up-to-date on all the latest styles and techniques.The salon itself is very clean and inviting. The perms and colorings are done on the second floor, so there are no "typical" salon odors to greet you at the door! Couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend Christiaan.

I am in love with my stylist/ colorist Amanda. She always does a beautiful job with my hair. I trust her implicitly. The salon itself is lovely, too, and in a convenient location next to my job on the east side. They always have high quality new products to try, as well as makeup in case you need a new lipstick to go with your new 'do. Bonus: they have coffee, tea, and cookies in case you need a snack while being beautified.

I usually don't write online reviews but had to once I saw this place doesn't have a 5 star rating. I have had nothing but excellent experiences with this salon for about 6 years now. I see Shannon for a cut and color every 2 months or so. She always has input for how to make my hair look better, more modern or compliment my face and skin better. She shows me different techniques to use while styling on my own. Everytime I go in we try something different than last time, but it always looks amazing. She truly is an artist in her medium. The rest of the staff is friendly and professional, and the receptionist is always helpful when I try to make appointments with my limited schedule. As long as I live in New England I will never use another salon.

I have been a client at Christiaan Salon for 3 years. Melissa is my stylist. I trust her completely to listen to what I want done each time I see her which is about 6 times a year. I wear my hair short and I change my mind about the cut I want each time I see her and she is right there on the same page listening to my preference on that appointment. She is so talented and able to give me just what I want. This means a lot to me and gives me that comfort level that is needed with your stylist. Everyone there is polite and friendly always. I love this salon and so happy that the quality of the service has remained excellent over the years.

I have naturally very dark hair. Until I started seeing Sacha I could not find a hair stylist so talented and phenomenally in tune with her client's ideas and wishes. Sacha highlighted my hair beautifully, it was blended and not brassy. She is an unbelievable talent. Sacha also did my tape in hair extensions which were of such high quality and so precisely and artfully put in, no one could believe it wasn't my natural hair. Beyond Sacha, the staff are so helpful and kind. They will accommodate any appointment issue or booking.
