My experience at Spa W was unwelcoming, overpriced and extremely underwhelming. It was a cloudy day in bend so me and some girlfriends stopped in for some spa time. I called ahead to see if they had any space available And was told they were booked solid but we were welcome to come use their spa amenities for $20 a pop. Upon arrival, the staff seemed very annoyed that we were there. They reluctantly let us into the "busy" spa area where it was clear we were the only ones there. The "spa amenities" included a waiting room with 2 dirty chairs - very unfit for a group of three. Staff was in and out of the locker room with doors left open so it would have been easy for anyone to see you changing or getting a treatment. Locker room products felt basic and fairly low budget. Their waiting room featured expensive products so it was shocking how few options were available inside. It's worth calling out that a newer employee was training and did a wonderful job helping direct us and checking in throughout our stay. We were extremly frustrated with how quickly our "spa afternoon" wrapped up (we were in and out in 20 min) and at such an expensive price point. We essentially paid $20 to go in a steam room and shower with mediocre soap. We expected more amenties and left feeling rushed, unwelcome and MUCH less Zen than when we walked in.

Scheduled a sports massage to work on scar tissue from a surgery. Deep tissue work was top notch. Also spent some time in the steam room before the massage and felt very comfortable lounging in the waiting room. For a dude spa experience, this place was awesome.

My friend who was getting married set appointments for all of us TWO months in advance for her and the entire bridal party. This place even called to confirm the appointment with my friend before hand. When all of us arrived, there was NO appointment on the books. When the receptionist scrambled and looked through the binder, the appointment was set, but someone failed to transfer the appointment in to the computer. They basically filled other appointments into our appointment spots. The receptionist made a few calls, but the answer we still got was, "Sorry, we're too busy and cannot fit you guys in, but maybe if you guys change your schedule then we can fit one of you in." This is the day before the wedding and there were a lot of things to do (all scheduled in advance) and this place was asking us to change our schedule so that MAYBE one of us could get serviced. The mess-up was so bad that I mentioned to the wedding planner who recommended the location to stop recommending them, especially to folks who are coming in from out of town. The receptionist could not give us any answers and the owner was on vacation so no one in management could resolve the issue. I also heard from some of the locals that this place does not care so much about the business of people coming from out of town. I would suggest looking into the other spa in town (Jinsei) to actually get serviced.

I had the GREATEST experience at Spa W in Bend! The greatest. As vacationers, it's hard to know where to stop for literally anything...it's always a gamble. I had the most incredible facial with Gina. It was the best facial I've ever had. She was so thorough and friendly. I saw Emma for my manicure and she did a fabulous job. She was super friendly, she gave me food recommendations and my nails look FLAWLESS. Good job, ladies. I will definitely be back. PS. They also have wifi...a huge plus when waiting for your nails to dry.

Disappointed in my most recent visit at Spa W. I had a Brazilian wax and left the appt with copious amounts of wax left over, not to mention several regions that were not treated. Even my brow treatment was uneven with several excess hairs outside of the shaped region.

I took my girlfriend to Spa W for her Birthday on Sunday. She was to get an hour and a half Hot Stone Massage of which was cut short by a half hour. I was getting the honey salt glow which was amazing (no complaints) and a classic pedi. I was suprised not to get the foot exfoliation and leg scrub for the pedi. After talking to my friend about my (lack of) pedi we realized her appointment was cut short so I called the spa to voice my concerns to an owner/manager. I spoke with Tami (receptionist) who wouldn't let me talk to the owner/director, nor was she willing to give out her name. She told me I had a mini pedi, which is not what I made the appointment for, so someone changed it and didn't tell me. She did apologize and called me back to tell me they would give me a $25.00 gift card to use in the future. REALLY? I'm sorry, but I just paid $300.00 on three services plus tips and you want me to come back and spend more money when I didn't get what I paid for in the first place? I am a very disappointed LOYAL customer that won't be back! Rebecca and Tami, please step up your customer service!

Rebecca, Auxane, and Tiffany provided top quality service. The Spa W atmosphere is wonderful. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the receptionist. Maybe she was having a bad day or was tired but she definitely wasn’t friendly, welcoming or helpful. But I will be back! Love the fall special.

This is my 4th time there and it never disappoints. I went in for a 60 min deep tissue massage after a weekend of 20 hours of driving and feel like a champ. So relaxed. So at ease. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Love this place.

I had a Swedish massage by Rebecca, and it was amazing. Perfect amount of pressure and left me in a zen state. I highly recommend her. This is my second massage at SpaW. And I will continue to come back!!

I have been going to Spa W regularly for 4 years. The service is not as good as it used to be. Example, today I have been calling for an hour for their Facebook promotion and the recording says they are closed, yet it is during business hours. The reason I keep going back is Stephanie. She is the best for facials. She's personable, doesn't hard-sell products the way the previous person I went to at Spa W did, and my skin has never looked better. I also like the steam room and relaxing ambiance.

I am so disappointed. Spare yourself and look elsewhere. I have been going to spa w for 5 months now and each time I went the experience got worse. My first trip was great but when I continued to schedule more appointments I was treated unfairly. The lady at the front desk was sassy and never took me seriously. I was only given a locker to keep my things about half the time and your are really only allowed to use the steam room if you’re spending more than $100. For the prices I should be treated better. My girlfriends told me about Anjou spa and said they were given free glasses of champagne with their service and were treated like royalty I will no longer be using spa W. Save your time and look elsewhere

Worst manicure and pedicure I've had in Bend. Felt rushed through the whole thing. Minimal effort from the staff nobody even introduced themselves. When we asked about lotion at the end were directed to a bottle.... For the cost absolutely not worth it.

I waited a month to write this review, because I wanted to put some time between reviewing and the experience itself. Mainly, I needed time to think about it. Spa W is a great spa that unfortunately suffers because of its staff. I scheduled spa services for my mother and I. I'm pregnant and it was my last treat to myself before getting into the nitty-gritty time of pregnancy. There was some issue with our scheduling which was resolved nicely. As best it could be, I guess. My mom and I were both scheduled for a Great Escape package, featuring a salt scrub, a massage, and then a pedicure for my mom and a mini facial for me (since I am incredibly ticklish). My salt scrub and massage were great. I enjoyed both. The trouble I had was with the mini facial. The facial itself was pleasant and my skin did look really great afterwards. However, the woman, Kate (I believe that was her name-long blonde hair in pigtails), who did my facial could have tried harder to be professional. Being pregnant, we talked about what hormones had done to my skin (I've had bad break outs since the early days of my pregnancy). I mentioned that, in college, I took a birth control that gave me severe cystic acne and left me with scars that I would like to work on fading. She made a joke, interrupting me, that OBVIOUSLY the birth control didn't work. It really took me back that she would say something like that. I continued... and a few minutes later, she made the SAME JOKE about my birth control not working! I got the feeling she thought I was younger than I am, but regardless of my age, joking about my child being an accident isn't entirely appropriate no matter the situation. As I left, she said, "Congratulations on your pregnancy!" I said thanks and started down the stairs. I heard her start laughing with another employee and say "I did mean it!" I stopped on the stairs to listen and heard them talking about how annoying pregnant women are and how difficult they are to work on. I got downstairs, changed, and was more than ready to leave, to be honest. I didn't want to be in the spa for another minute. However, we got lunches with our services. Unfortunately, they served me a salad with soft cheese on it... since I'm pregnant, I can't eat soft cheese. I had assumed that the lunch would be some kind of small plates, like croissants and fruit, a variety of things to choose from. We finished quickly, paid and left. Ultimately, it was the mini facial that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The scheduling error I could accept. The slightly unprofessional tone of all the staff I could also accept. But the repeated jokes about my pregnancy, and overhearing an employee make fun of pregnant women, was where I really felt uncomfortable. This is a spa with a lot of potential, but they could try harder to make people feel at ease--rather than just putting on a show of trying to make people feel at ease. Their employees need better training, they need a better system for appointments, and with regards to services that offer lunches, they need to offer options and check in advance to make sure it is something the person who is paying for it can actually consume. Because I don't live in Bend, I don't plan to return to Spa W, even if I plan another weekend like this one. I will look at other options in the area, of which I know there are many.

I always go to Spa W for the hot stone treatment. This is incredibly relaxing and I have found the staff to be experienced and sensitive to my needs. For anyone who holds tension in shoulders and neck or who just want to be relaxed, I give this a thumbs up.
