I just got out of their shop, the lady that did my nails name was anika and she did an amazing job. But all around they have good staff, and I like the environment there . I would recommend anyone to to there.

What a joy and very professional place to call your home spa salon on the coast .. I've never imagined in a million years I would get a pedicure or a massage but I did and as they say first impressions mean everything and for that my experience was so relaxing and almost like a mini vacation in the tropics .. I'll tell you why . From when you first walk into the lobby i was greeted and taken care of with a beverage and made at home like I've been there as a regular . The rooms for all the different services were themed in there own unique way and like no way I've ever seen before . So I would have to say i would not only recommend this place as your home spa but also your friends will be glad you did as well .

I made an apt with the salon over 3 weeks in advance for my wedding. This was a destination wedding and heard of the salon via word of mouth. Obviously this was a special occasion. The apt was for myself, the bride, and my 12 yr old daughter. When we arrived a very nice lady was there. I believe DeeDee was her name. The apt was for 9 in the morning, with the wedding at 1130. At approx. 0905 hrs DeeDee informed me that the rest of the staff had slept in and would come in as soon as possible. They showed up just before 10, with no apologies given. My daughters hair had not been touched and mine just begun. I was also getting makeup. I was very rushed through the apt and not satisfied. They did not seem to care about my schedule or the significance of the day. DeeDee was amazing, and very apologetic, however she was only one person. DeeDee also stated to me that everyone knew about what was happening as they had been talking about it the day before in the afternoon. I would DEFINATELY not recommend this salon for any important life events.

Booked the salon for my bridal party for Mani/Pedi's for all. What a huge disappointment. French manicures very sloppy, polish on skin. To make things worse my polish smeared when bumped OVER AN HOUR after we left. I had to send my sister back down there to buy a bottle of the same color and they gave her a really hard time about it. Prices are sky high, service isn't that friendly and you can probably do a better mani/pedi on yourself.

Service was EXCELLENT!! The lady at the front desk was super nice. DeeDee is so nice and friendly. Summer cut my hair, and did an amazing job. She was so friendly, and complimented me several times on my hair. I will definitely be back. The building was clean, and smelled AMAZING! I'm so glad I found a local place that did an excellent job on hair.

Got a couples massage spa package and WOW was it phenomenal! The masseuses were I credible and worked out every last kink I had! The place is so ambiant that I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in and the owners dog was so stinking sweet! You must try at least once

Dee Dee is amazing!!! She has officially stolen me from my regular place. I drove the half hr to get my nails done here after my nail place could not take cards and I needed to pay with my cc. She was amazing. She took her time, we talked, and laughed. She didnt cut my fingers up like a lot of places do. She is reasonably priced and actually cheaper then the place I usually go. She gained a new client and I will forever go to her now.

Sheri does the best work in town, bar none. I had 28 inches of hair taken off to donate over a year ago. Sheri was extremely kind, gentle, accommodating. Who doesn't want a mimosa or glass of wine while they get spa spoiled? Since this visit, I have been back more than a handful of times and CONSISTENTLY received the same excellent and professional service. All of the staff are extremely knowledgeable of the products they use, and friendly and courteous in the way they express it. Great job guys. I wish more businesses were so pleasant to work with!

Had a couples massage scheduled; showed up and got the run about how they werent staff and i should of got a call. They never called to cancell. I drove from portland and got cancelled last minute. No compensation or credit. Bad customer service!

I really like this place! I have had my hair cut, styled & highlighted; had manicures and pedicures, massages and facials and each time have had an excellent experience. The staff is friendly, experienced, professional and respectful. AND, they are the only business in Seaside that offers a "locals discount"! I highly recommend Shear Pleasures!

So unorganized. So unprofessional. I was not relaxed at all, nobody even checked me in till half an hour after my appointment. I was booked for the drift away package, plus a facial. After I was checked in I felt so uncomfortable so I left. Bummer experience during my vacation

I do not recommend getting your hair streaked here. I was very disappointed. You can barely see any streaks. And spend $150 for my hair and some hair shampoo that didnt even help my hair. And took over 4 hours! I will not be coming back. Waste of money.

Bottom line is I looked great and married the love of my life... Because weddings are insane and Murphy's law... I've made a habit of calling to confirm all my reservations at least once a month. I had an engagement of over a year long and made appointments several months in advance! I have a ton of hair, so my normal stylist suggested I do a hair trial to make sure everything will be on time and run smoothly the day of... By this time I have called to confirm this appointment 3 times. Day of: I call down, excited because I got out of work early, and just left town! It is a 2.5 hour drive!!! I am told I am not on the books. .. after 3 phone calls and i am sure alot of shuffling they were able to fit me in!!! I was able to meet my wedding day stylist, everyone was very nice!!! I felt right at home and knew I was in great hands! she really new her stuff haha. at the end of the appointment she took pictures so she could recreate the hair the day of! She even pinned my hair up further just because i was going to a fair afterwards, to be more of an updo out of my face! the stylist did tell me since i had so much hair i would need the full 2 hours to do the wedding hair. the getting ready appointment was 5 stars! attached I have the inspiration photo but I wanted less of a bump! And a selfie of me in the red of the after trial photo. The day of my wedding. I arrive on time, I am told my stylist if running late but someone else will start my hair since its just curling, I am even offered wine! they treated my bridesmaids and myself like queens! the person curling my hair normally down nails, was a little slow but she did a great job so oh well! I was getting a little stressed that no one had started my hair 20 minutes in, after being told prior i needed the full 2 hours.. but the other lady did arrive and start the irons to heat them up, then to eventually curl my hair. my Hair stylist didn't arrive for over a half hour. Once she did arrive I thought everything was going to go smoothly after that! she was unable to find the picture of the trial.. my bridesmaid stood to try and help her find it, but quickly sat back down upon seeing NSFW photos instead (it was her personal phone but....). I was disappointed because I drove all the way down for the trial apparently for nothing but shes a professional I figured oh well as long as we can recreate what we discussed previously. I wanted smooth in front and rest of hair pulled back in a half up and curled... i wanted elegant, a little soft curls in front, and swooping to one side.. see red picture. I am clock watching like crazy to get to my makeup in time before the photographer arrives!!! When the stylist finishes I am less then thrilled. its very Prom. which is fine, its was pretty, not what was discussed or planed but, it looked great and bottom line was a married my best friend. If i had had more time to sit, i am CERTAIN that we could have recreated the look perfectly. but due to unforeseen circumstances on the stylist part i missed out on the time i was supposed to have. I'm not the bride zilla type, normally i would drop it completely, i wouldst even be writing it if i wasn't told to... I would rather not freak out and cause a scene..but having to settle on my hair was a huge hit. my hair has always been my favorite feature about myself, what makes me feel the most confident.. and to have to settle due to time constraints on the one thing i actually wanted to go right... was not great. I came down for a trial for nothing and paid full price for something i didn't want, i got out of the salon within a minute of the full 2 hours, if i had had her fix it to what was discussed previously I would have been late to my wedding. Finally i have attached photos of the finally result, again bottom line it did look great :) just not planned, and I married my best friend.

Sheri the owner cut my hair as a first time customer to her, she was wonderful, warm, engaging, interested in working out what I was looking for, coz lets face it sometimes us none hairdressers are hard to understand. Price was great, very happy with my cut, I will go back for sure

I thought it was great to book my appt online (two days before appt). Got a confirmation email even. Showed up 5 minutes before appt time, and the waiting area was busy, and the lady behind the counter had some trouble finding my appt. After a few minutes of looking through several options she says my manicurist called in sick, and that the manicurist told her that she had called her 1st appointment (me) to let them know she couldn't be there. Umm, no. Nobody called, texted or emailed. But here's the kicker... Lady behind the counter asks... "So are you going to just leave mad?" Up to this point, I was completely polite and decided not to change my ways so I replied "no, not mad, but I am going to leave because there isn't anyone to do my nails, I came to Seaside to have some fun, so that's what I'm going to do." Big smiles, buh-bye! (BTW: spent my money on a helicopter ride! It was fabulous!!)

When hearing that the couple that run A-Nails in Seaside, Oregon have spoken about their customers in a disrespectful way in their native toung I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they have proven that they have zero respect for their clientele. They verbally abused someone right in front of the rest of their clients instead of having a quiet conversation with them person. Sure, they'll have plenty of tourists come in and won't miss our business one second. But, being a local, and knowing how fast word spreads, I'm thinking I could have avoided theur disgusting behavior if I had listened to the first word of advice from other locals: DON'T GO THERE!. If you're a tourist and don't mind being called a 'fat pig', or anything along those lines, in their native toung, then be my guest.

Scheduled two pedicures while on vacation (baby moon) for my husband and I. I get a text message the morning of my appointment saying they have to cancel my appointment with not one excuse but two excuses as to why they would have to reschedule. Extremely unprofessional that I could not even receive a phone call or that the salon would not even try to accommodate me at a different time.

A great spa! I popped in for a pedi and mani and wish I had more time to try other services too. Deedee gave a fabulous massage as part of the pedicure. They use their house made sugar scrub which was divine. They offered me wine to top off all the fun and awesomeness. If I lived closer this would be my new go-to place (we were just camping in the area). Very friendly service and really enjoyed my time!

My daughter and I got massages from Trudie. It was my daughters first massage and she really enjoyed it. I thought she did a great job, we were both very relaxed. My only complaint was that she was 10 minutes late to the appointment and the room had random food left on the jacuzzi tub. It was kinda gross.

Been 3x. For pedicure. Kept going back thinking it was just an off day- for them to be late for me. 3rd time was enough! Checked in. My girl not there yet. Then forgot to tell her I was waiting. Then she put me to soak & disappeared for 20 min. Then had to get herself coffee! Talked about self constantly & could not seem to work while she talked. They claim a pedicure takes 40 min. 1hr45 min. later I was frantic to leave the place!-

Great staff, owner is very friendly and it feels like a family there. Im always happy with hair, nails EVERYTHING! Dee Dee and Sherri are my top fav but whole staff work together to get your needs met. Dont listen to some small minded people. I lived in Seaside 12 years and by far Shear Pleasures is the best.

My sisters and I come down to Cannon Beach for a long weekend regularly and include a visit to this place each time we come. It's fun and relaxing because of the staff. The service and the results have always been excellent. I would be very suspect of any review that calls the staff "rude". I have seen this group of people deal beautifully with anyone who came through their door. Keep up the good work.

Had an appointment for 2:00. Got their 15 min early and waited until two. Then I’m told that a client brought a friend and they had her in my bowl...but they would get her out...10 minutes go buy and someone else tells me it won’t be long...they are going to get her out. Then a third time I’m told they are getting her out. I had let them know I was on a tight schedule so said don’t bother getting her out and left.
