DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE
Unfortunately, I can’t review on any of the actual hands on services, but what I can review is the horrible customer service I experienced. The reason for that is because my appointment never got booked in the first place because they failed to enter it into the system. My family and I showed up for our 11:30am 1 hr appointment, but they couldn’t find our reservation. The employee told us sometimes people accidentally book at Edgefield Ruby Spa and called to confirmed we did not book with them. At this point we are going back and fourth trying to convince them we did have an appointment. Then the manager comes out and doesn’t help the situation at all. She kept repeating well if we have no record there is nothing we can do. She finally offered for us to come back in 4 hours or 15% off our next visit. We showed them text messages and phone call log of us calling the store, but the manager continued to be more rude as the conversation continued. She even commented about how people often do come with no appointment just so they can try to get free services. It felt SO great knowing this manager who I’ve never met before has a first impression that my family are liars and trying to scam their business. Rather than acknowledging they screwed up and help to make up for completely wasting our time because of their error. The manager also refused to give me her last name and when I asked the front desk upstairs they said that is not a policy and they provided me with her last name. So Janet LaDuca, the manager at Grand Lodge Ruby Spa, I hope you learn something from today and realize you really need to work on your poor customer service skills.
