Massage therapist are good and strong but it is hard to make appointment wih my schedule. It's fine. The receptionist who is tall and yellowish curly hair had mistake for making my appointments. I spent more than an hour for round trip for one hour massage session . She said sorry like rudely. Because she made my appointment for today than i heard that i don't have an appointment. English is my second language. I felt like a racism. So disappointed with customer service. More more not satisfy with front desk staff... that's why I canceled membership again today.

Was injured from a massage that ruined my 4th of July. Tried to get a refund for the monthly membership as was told that it is not possible that I have pain . It has been 2 days and am still in agony going to the doctor this afternoon . She offered to give me 2 hrs instead of the 5 hours that I have already paid for. Waiting to get a response from website customer service . Just got back from doctors office and I have blood in my urine as well as a fever of 100.4. Getting ultrasound next week. The massage therapist is very sweet the response I got from the manager was not. I was angry after she told me no refunds. She refused to give me a number of who to talk too but was told me just to Google it.

Nice massage but when I left they wanted $50 more then I was suppose to pay. I asked why and they said I agreed to an additional foot rub. They asked if I wanted my foot rubbed. Never said during the massage it was more money.

My husband and I have been members of Massage Envy for some time now, and have tried different massage therapists. I have to say neither of us has any complaints, other than we can't always schedule an appointment when we would like - could be said about any service. The therapists and the other staff members have been consistently kind, courteous, professional and helpful. I would recommend Massage Envy to anyone. If you want a very deep penetrating massage, ask for Cass. If you want a thorough, more gentle, but totally effective massage, ask for Becky. And there many others who are just as wonderful.

I have never had a bad experience with Massage Envy and do recommend them. Usually the best rule of thumb is to see for yourself no matter what others say. Also, look at all the negative reviews and only one positive. As people, we are more likely to say bad things when something doesn't go our way than to praise for great service. If you have a valid complaint, post away, but also remember to post great experiences. Also, just because something didn't go right with one person, doesn't mean you should write off the entire company. As for cancelling - it is your responsibility to use what you bought and if you cancel and lose it, then ... all I gotta say is just know the policies and expectations of your contract and that you can't always bend the rules. Lastly, let's face it, massages are spendy. For the affordable, as others have said too, go for your local school of massage or get discounted ones off Groupon. Overall, whether you use Massage Envy or not, just keep your attitude in check, clearly communicate your needs, know the rules, and do what makes you happy. :-)

This was my first massage ever, so I had little idea of what to expect. The place was clean and welcoming, and the prices for a first-timer were more than fair. My therapist was very kind, professional, and friendly. She seem to be very qualified to do her job. With that said though, I didn't terribly enjoy the massage. I don't know if that was just me, or the therapist, or a combination of both, but I didn't get the ultra relaxing amazing experience that all of my friends massage enthusiast friends described. if you've not been there before, I would recommend going, as it seems to be a good, clean, reputable establishment that does a good job.

I would not recommend that anybody do business with Massae Envy. I bought a year long membership with them. Like another reviewer below, I made the mistake of not using all of my massages, even though I pre-paid for them. I had a good experience with them for 11 months, but then it went totally south after I canceled my membership due to some financial belt tightening in my family. First, I tried to move my remaining massages to my wife, who was also a member. I could only move one of the massages, and it had to be done with a $10 fee. Second, I was told by a staff member I could use my massage by July 18. I scheduled my massage for July 18. I get a call from the manager this afternoon that my membership was canceled, so I have to pay $65 non-membership fee on top of the $50 I already pre-paid to get my massage. No one worked with me here. At best, I got inconsistent information from the scheduler that didn't allow me to make an informed decision. Maybe $50 isn't a big deal to a company that looks at people as walking dollar signs, but it is for me. You're better spending your money at the East West School of Massage in Portland, where students and professionals treat their customer well. - Abe Estimada

I worked for massage envy spa for about 3 months. I had the top sales percentage and gift card sales, and was let go suddenly without notice. Not a bad place to work if you are with the right people, but the management can be considerably improved.

I called Massage Envy Clackamas and was able to get a same day massage appointment. My massage therapist was Cass (sp?) and he was great! He worked out all the problem areas in my upper back, shoulders and neck. Cass was very professional. Front desk was friendly. Clean facility. I would definitely come back again. Thank you!

This place was in tip top shape when Taylor was running the show. She was always very helpful to anything I needed, and the atmosphere was very uplifting and cheerful. Recently during a visit here, I was informed Taylor is no longer with the company. I don't find it to be a coincidence that I had to wait over an hour for an appointment that I scheduled in advance, that the room was a terrible mess and the associates were of very little help with my concerns. I will be taking my business to hand and stone after my last encounter.

I called to ask about products. I was going to stop in on my way home. I currently live in Washington so if i can purchase something in Oregon and save on tax it is preferable. I called the Vancouver location and asked if they had the hydrating Syrum and Eye gel in a package. They did for $100.00. So of course thinking that the Clackmas location would be no different I called just in case. I was told by the girl that they received in that same package 2 days ago but her manager had not put the product out yet, and she would not be able to sell it to me until she asked her manager. Needless to say i went to Ulta and bought product there.

Integrity, this business does not have any. I had a seizure after one of my massages...saw my dr. waited a couple of weeks and tried again asking the therapist not to touch my neck. She did, major head ache for two days. I called and froze my account. waited then called to cancel my membership. I had 8 pre paid massages. I was told I could only get a refund for 3 but could give away 5. I did that. The gal said she was sending me the formal form to cancel and told me that no more would be pulled from my account and to get it to her as soon as I could. But another month was pulled. I asked for the extra month that was not to be pulled back and was told no that only 3 could be refunded. I was also told the limit to give away was 5 but they would let me give another one away. At 60.00 each I can afford to give another one away. I had a medical issue and the therapist did not follow my instructions causing me to have to end the second massage 20 minutes early. It took over two months and constant calling with zero calls returned to even get the refund for the 3. I was given different stories as to why I was not getting it and then told it takes 7-10 days to do etc etc. Don't bother going here. Its a waste of time and money . Go somewhere where they have integrity and professionalism. I wasn't asking for the world just good honest customer service and a good massage. The turn over there is high . They pay the therapists 15 a hour and charge you 60. Go somewhere where you are actually getting your moneys worth. I will never return or refer this business again. All I asked for was the extra amount they took out after I was promised they would not and they refused. Bad Business practices!!!

I'm only leaving any "star" at all because the actual massage was great. The headache of "shade" (actual term used by one of the employees who tried to sort this out) the staff used to try to bind me into a contract is another story. I received a 3 mo. subscription for my bday In January. After the 3 mo. of massages were used up, I decided to continue on a month to month basis. I then made sure that they then entered my CC info and deleted the person who gifted the massages to me. Unbeknownst to me, this is a tactic used to acquire new contracts. I was entered as a new contract by the staff by them simply adding my middle initial to create a new file (again this was told to me by an honest staff member). I have been trying to get this remedied since May. To be clear, I ONLY WANTED MONTH - MONTH. Now I just want out! Some gal named "Cassie" may or may not of had a hand in this mess and is no longer at this location.

Worst massage experience I've ever had. My masseuse was wearing rubber gloves and I was very uncomfortable. I've told Katie the manager of this place that I was not happy with my massage, after long unpleasant conversation she offered a free masage with another person and no rubber gloves this time. I went for a second try, after the free massage Katie asked me to pay $60. Katie was trying to make up things to make me pay for a free massage. I had to call corporate office in order resolve this issue. Save you money, time, and frustrations and find another place. I never leave reviews but after such paunfull experience I had to share my pain.

The are kind and respectful. The place is kept clean and the atmosphere is calming. They give wonderful massages. However they did double book Quite often and had to cancel and rearrange my sessions frequently. Which was unprofessional and disappointing. they did give me a free foot scrub for having to reschedule it every time they Messed up and double booked. I like this place a lbut it was hard to cancel my membership. I gave a my notice of ending my membership in the way they Instructed me to but they kept Charging my credit card as if I never canceled. It was a real battle to make it stop.
