This is what a spa should be! From the warm, welcome receptionists to the fabulous massage therapists you can't go wrong here. I've had a massage here and an eyebrow wax and been pampered both times. They have a secret waiting room around the corner with magazines and tea which is very tranquil. My "go to" spa in the area!

Just walking into Kanani Pearl Spa relaxes me and allows me to let go of any stress and worries that I am carrying. The soothing music, the sound of running water, the fresh fragrances, and the lovely welcome from owner Mary Ellen and her staff of therapists. I have been to Kanani Pearl Spa for a massage on many occasions and have always left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I am very grateful for this Spa's presence. Mahalo!

Took my sister to this spa for the prefect day package. It was the prefect day spa experience. By the end of the day we both had fresh glowing skin and we were completely relaxed. The staff was friendly and professional. It was a wonderful experience.

Hangs down the best massage in Portland. Mary Ellen is amazing. I notice the difference in my body after getting a massage from her. She puts her all with the intent to 'heal' her customers. Not all massages are the same. If you've had an injury or if your body is stressed, I highly recommend her with her Aloha spirit to mend the abnormality that sometimes life inflict unto us. If you want budget, any massage can be relaxing but for something more profound, there is no other person I would go to. Love you, Mary Ellen and Mahalo for taking care of me!

I have been to a ton of spas. This place is crazy small and overpriced. The treatments don’t have much massage and the lunch is a joke. For lunch they don’t even ask what y want to drink and the food was dry chicken. I really feel like I was jipped. I kept on wanting to go home the whole time. Their is no parking and finding it is very hard. I have no idea why this place has good reviews

My wife had our baby 3 months ago so I decided to take her here for some time for herself. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They even helped me make it a surprise for her. My wife described the massage as the best she has ever had in a Spa and was thankful for the quality of products used as well as the high standard they had with their sanitary and clean environment. Will definitely bring her back ! Awesome place !

Really relaxing. Very enjoyable. The place smelled great it was very clean and had excellent ambience. The Decour was exceptional. And the massage it's self was one of the best ones I've ever had. The masseuses name was Lindsay. It combined a deep massage with just the right amount of alternative techniques. It was awesome. And very complete :-)

I had a lomi lomi massage here which I booked the same day and enjoyed very much. The staff was very friendly and my masseuse was excellent. I am not in the pearl district much but I recommend this spa and would return.

My experience at Kanani began with some pleasant phone calls with Mary Ellen, the owner. It's always appreciated when an owner has a very hands-on experience with their business, and she helped to make mine a positive one. I had just one service while here - a 60 minute massage - and it was truly one of the best I've received. So good, in fact, that I'm pretty sure I drifted off into dreamland for a portion of it. The space is beautiful as well - the water cascading down the walls into a river under your feet... that was quite a surprise and a clever design. Most definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a superior spa experience. I'm looking forward to returning for additional services.

Kanani Pearl Spa is the best in Portland for experienced talented massage therapists, body wraps, facials,microcurrent facial toning,endermologie body contouring, and waxing services. The atmosphere is amazing with a water feature, and quiet waiting room along a Ipe wood walkway.They have great facial products, Epicuren, IS clinical, and Naturopathica. The lotions are handmade with Hawiian scents, and the candles they sell are unique smells like Japanese cedarwood, tangerine lemongrass and chocolate,yummy!!! Getting regular treatments here is a pleasure and the staff always welcomes you wholeheartedly.

Called to ask about service and to schedule something for my friend and I. She was very rude, I said I would have to call back to make sure the appointment would work for my friend and make sure I could get a sitter.... and she made a snooty remark and HUNG UP ON ME! needless to say I will not be going to that spa!

This is the best spa experience I've had in Portland. The spa itself is nicely decorated with Hawaiian themed decor. It's a nice cozy feel. They have tea and water in the waiting area. The staff was extremely friendly and I never felt rushed. I had a massage with Danielle and it is hands down the best massage I have had in many years. I had some neck and should pain that I needed help with but still wanted the massage to be relaxing. The pressure she applied was perfect and my pain was gone after the massage. Even though the massage was 60 mins it felt like it lasted longer, which was really great. I also had a fantastic facial from Veronica. She was gentle with extractions and made the facial very relaxing. The face, scalp and shoulder massage during the facial was also heavenly. After the services, the check out process at the counter was seamless and easy. I can't wait to go back to Kanani Pearl Spa!

Santa Monica is my favorite Burke Williams location. I always have a wonderful experience with facials, massages and their other treatments. What I love most is the spa area -- there are two Jacuzzi and the steam room is much larger than in other locations. Be sure to check out their outdoor areas as well!
