I went for a wedding day trail my makeup was done all the way but when it came to my hair the stylist did not do it at all. I ended up leaving the salon with very frizzy looking hair in a pony tail. Not anything close to what I wanted on my wedding day. The stylist just kept saying on the actual day she would make it perfect. Mind you I also paid that day to have my hair done and did not get my hair done. I cancelled my appointment on my wedding day and will not come back.

Gervais Day Spa is aptly named (IMHPO). Possibly for a British insult comic of same name because, this spa is an insult to the customers' intelligence, good sense and judgement. Plus their customer service is a joke of immense proportions as the complete lack of customer service reminds me of the children's story, "the Emporer has no clothes". Like the story the illusion of custom service appears to suggest the presence of CS like, being offered water or tea,but this does not mean it(CS)is really there. Mark my words all you fine citizenry who think this Emporer reallyhas CS, because like me a day will come that you made an appointment for services for a big event and your stylist will disappear like the Emporer 's clothes when you need them the most. Then the royal court will say anything in support of their naked Emporer, even though they know the are protecting an illusion of CS and not the reality of it. The morale of this story is not to stop coming here! Instead expect them to honestly acknowledge when their Emporer needs something like true, Old Fashioned, quality, CUSTOMER SERVICE to clothe their naked service. It's very easy and will save and make you money both. First admit your error. apologize. Ask how customer wants this matter resolved. Do what they ask you to do. Then apologize again. Simple, yet many younger folks just don't understand this because of the insincere world they grew/ grow up in. So Gervais are you ready to stop showing that your ruler needs the cloth of customer service? Thank you all for listening.

I have never been so blatantly ignored by a hair stylist. I asked for asymmetrical layers that would work with curly hair. Both sides were cut evenly despite me stopping my stylist to re-explain what I wanted. Then she straightened my hair and said "You can't see the layers because your hair is too straight". I left in tears. Don't waste your money here.

U first walk in u are greeted with warm welcome and a smile as if u are family and they ask u if u would like somthing to drink and will bring it to u within a short time of asking very professional and happy I would recommend this to anyone and to top it off the nail techs are amazing and the job they do on acrylic is definitely 5 star. High five ladies! Very happy with the service provided. Definitely will promote this place and tell anyone I know looking to get there hair nails lashes etc done about this place. And to top it off this place is not only the best place I have been to who does wonderful nails and provides amazing service and has just the most wonderful people working here but its classy too. Went here for my bridal shower, brought my sister and mom for mani pedis. While they were accommodating and nice I was not impressed by the actual work done. They didn't attend to our cuticles at all and all they did was paint the polish on. I got acrylics and they were sloppy and started lifting in two days and no I was not doing anything hard on my nails at all! Within two more days the top coat on my thumbnail was peeling off. Not to mention that within one day the gems I paid extra for were gone. Overall not impressed and would not go back or reccomend.

Had a really bad e perience this time here. Previously good experience, but this time, felt as though they took advantage and ripped us off. Had an appointment for a cut and color. After a $50 conditioner, they said they wouldn’t do anything else. This was b.s., didn’t get what we made the appointment for and still had to pay $50. I’ll be going to Salon Muse from now on!

I asked for a basic mani/pedi, but they charged for the full service. The wax was scolding hot and painful, which the nail tech didn't adjust after I mentioned it. The polish was chipped before I left the salon and there was about 1/4" between my cuticle and where the polish was painted. I went in the next day and asked for a refund and was very rude and said that they guarantee their work. The guarantee doesn't include refunds. I tried to get in touch with the manager, who never returned my phone call. It has been two weeks and they have made no attempt to make things right.

Honestly I have not been very happy with the services I have received. For the price they charge I expect quality. I have now gone 4 times. 1 of the 4 services was good. That was the massage. The pedicure was $60. It looked liked a 10 year old did the gel polish. I got an eye brow wax with tint. I had to go to another salon to get it fixed. I decided to go back 1 more tine because I received a gift certificate. decided to try another pedicure. Again awful. All of these services were from different gals at the salon. My sister in law, just recently went to get her nails done. She too was not happy. At this time I do not recommend this place for anything other than a massage.

My girlfriend got the eyelash extensions and ended up going back 4 days later because her eyes were itchy and swollen! Figured she was allergic to the glue so she went back and got them removed, during the process (a different girl removed them) the woman told her there was way too much glue and they shouldn't have put the amount that they did on and couldn't remove all of them because it was so painful for my girlfriend and that they just weren't coming off. She cried because it was so painful, and going to the front desk with swollen and raw eyes they told her that they weren't going to "charge" her for the removal process! They gave her a little container of the glue remover so she could remove them in future,This is the worst customer service ever, there was no talk of a refund or any type of remorse or compensation for the badly put on eyelash extensions!!!!! 80$ we spent getting them on her and now my poor girlfriend has no eyelashes and swollen eyes! what a rip off! don't even bother going here!

Unfortunately I cannot not give a good review. I have given this salon three different opportunities to do a good job and have been disappointed every time. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasing. But unfortunately I have had a hair cut, a spa pedicure, and nails done. All different occasions, all those services were poorly executed, my hair was the worst experience. The owner did offer to do a touch up at no additional charge (Since they do not do refunds) which was nice of her but at that point all she could do was touch up the color, the cut was pretty much unrepairable. She went on to tell me while I was sitting in her chair that the stylist actually did a perfect job and that my hair was the problem. I really couldn't tell her she was incorrect since I was sitting there getting my hair done by her. It was uncomfortable and my "trim" was 8 inches shorter than I had asked for. Very unfortunate. I also didm;t like being told the hair cut was fine, it was all different lengths (and not in the good way), even after the owner repaired it to the best of her ability it was a shotty color job and cut. My nails that were done most recently were amateur at best and popped off within the week. I have been going to different Aveda salons for years and just assumed they would be consistent. I will never go to this salon again, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but each time has been disappointing. So sorry, but again the staff is friendly, the Aveda products are great, and the atmosphere is nice. Hope they start doing a better hiring job for their future. Jessica Cleeton-Funderburk

I've always had excellent service at Gervais, but my most recent appointment was the best. I was able to get a last minute appointment in with Simone, and without any warning asked to go from a red head to brunette. Within 3 hours I was back to my natural (if not improved) hair color. She has a strong skill set, a great attitude, and knows how to do good hair. LOVE THIS PLACE! Below are before, during, and after pictures.
