BEWARE!! This place is CREEPY and SCARRY!! THE WORST PART: As I was about to leave, they had locked me inside after the massage and demanded a tip! I sware, I was actually scared! I dialed 911 on my phone and showed it to the guy and he says “no... no”. (No speaky English, of course). Then I told him to unlock the door and he finally did. It was scarry also cause there is a number of guys that were there and noticing what was happening. I was just waiting for one or two to come over and rob me. During the massage, and before I noticed... the gal had left the curtain open a little bit (about 12 inches) and anyone walking by could easily see right in. The massage was crappy as could be. You tell them what you want different and they just stare at you like they have no clue and keep doing what you don’t like. I think they really do know what you’re saying but they act like they don’t. Really, my experience was the worst I have ever had. Don’t go here, you never know what might happen.

I've been enjoying this spa for several years.I always get the $30 reflexology session which is a full body massage with emphasis on the feet. The staff are very thoughtful. The massage is excellent and an amazing deal.No complaints whatsoever.I will continue to support this place.

This place is amazing! Don't look at the negative reviews, they are not real and are based on someone's weird experience. I went with my sister and the owner got us in even though we didn't call ahead. We had a large room to ourselves that was very neat and tidy. The room had a mineral soaking tub, nice showers, a restroom, and lockers. After the mineral soak tub, we went down to the dry sauna and than took a relaxing nap in the quiet area. The quiet room has really comfortable and relaxing recliners and it's very peaceful. There was tea being served and my sister and I were able to relax and rejuvenate after a long weeks work. The owner was very nice and took the time to give us a tour and spent some of his time just chatting with us. It was a great first experience and my sister and I can't wait to go back! Also, all of the furniture, clothing, and everything else in the building is directly from China, which is really cool and authentic.

Had a great one hour massage today. Very relaxing, my muscles are much less tense and knotted.

Had an annual girls' spa day with two other friends at Fly Dragon. We had no idea what to expect from this not-your-average Portland spa facility, but overall it was an enjoyable quirky experience. We bought the spa package which allowed us to use the hot tub, dry sauna, and relaxation room in between treatments. We were also provided with a ridiculous outfit to wear around the facilities--basically bloomers and a pull over tunic top, yellow w/ pink trim, and matching pink slippers. The hilarity of the outfit quickly turned to irritation--it wasn't particularly comfortable, it certainly wasn't flattering, and I for one had to hold the bloomers up when we were walking around as the elastic waist was stretched out. I think we had envisioned wearing flowing kimono style robes with flying dragons on them ;-) And robes would have made the transition between massages and sauna that much more comfortable. Anyway, we all started in the hot tub--it's basically your standard hot tub sitting in a not private oversized locker room (though we had the room and the tub to ourselves that day), but it does the job. Then we had the hour long "foot" massage--which as other reviewers describe, is more of a full body massage and absolutely wonderful. We hung out in the dry spa and the relaxation room (picture a dark media room full of oversized lazy boy recliners) for a bit--we were on our own in both, so we chatted--and my two friends had full body massages (which they both said were great) and I had a table shower. Never having had a table shower before I was a bit nervous (a friend described it as getting scrubbed down with sandpaper) but it was a disappointing experience for me--it was interesting, but basically you're on a padded cadaver-style table in the locker room getting sprayed down with warm water and washed with a loofah and salt. I didn't feel particularly more exfoliated than I would after a shower at home and for the price, I would have rather had another foot massage. We ended the afternoon all together again with a tea service. All for a reasonable price. All in all, a good day but a sense of humor and adventure helped.

The people who are posting 1 review are trolling because of a video posted on the internet about this one girl experience, this place has already received a 4.3/5 on Facebook and a lot of other good reviews, and to the people in Sarah's video she said it looked like a really cool place, just cause she had a odd time doesn't mean you will, please stop trolling and trying to ruin there company.

Worst body scrub I've ever had for $40 plus entrance fee. The body scrub is actually a five minute wipe down. There is no exfoliation. Try Korean operated spas for a thorough exfoliation.

I was referred by a client who thought it was awesome so my son and I decided to try it, absolutely excellent! Would go everyday if I could afford it!!! I will refer to everyone I know!

Always a 5 star massage! I just left and wow! I've been going here for about 3 years now, and I'm not sure why they only have 2.9 stars as a rating, first the inside is amazing. Way better than expected when I first opened the front doors, I just posted some pictures too. I just want people to know good service, and this is it. The foot reflexology is almost a full body experience and affordable. And the full body massage is better than 99% of massages you'll find. To be fair. They have a sauna, napping area, lockers and keys, showers, and wommens only and men only indoor hot tubs in the locker room. Check it out, you'll be surprised.

This place is great! I have been many times for foot reflexology. Each experience has been wonderful. The price is extremely reasonable. Everyone is very nice. I always feel relaxed after and less muscle tension. For example, today I had a headache, and it feels much better after foot reflexology. I usually call ahead same day and they are able to accommodate.

Was incredibly disappointed for what I paid. Arrived. Definite language barrier but not an issue for me, lady seemed pleasant enough despite being on the phone for part of the experience. I am shown the bathroom which looks a bit dirty and is out of paper towels as well as soap to wash my hands :( Shrug that off and go to massage. I selected a 1 hr deep tissue and paid $69 for that and used groupon to book access to the "media room, dry sauna, hot tub, complimentary hot tea" for an additional $30. They wanted me to tip prior to service and I declined and stated I likely had cash to use later. During massage my neck was minimally touched. Considering I was mostly in there for shoulder and neck pain I wasn't pleased. But I'm not the type to make a big deal of things. She did use her thumbs to press extremely hard into my skull in several places multiple times and at times it was extremely painful and unpleasant. Once or twice it felt kinda nice. Not worth the pain though. She also said she could not speak english. No biggie, I was looking to relax and not talk anyway except had she been able to understand me I could have better communicated my needs and desires and expectations of the service I was receiving and opted out of the head torture and gotten an ACTUAL neck rub. Still I would have rated this place far better at this point. I'm given a towel and some clothes and put my things away and go to the hot tub. I didn't realize another change of clothes would not be provided for the sauna so I'm guessing you have to always choose the sauna first. No one explained how anything worked and that was frustrating. The hot tub was on but the jets were off and it was cold. Turned it to 104 to warm and it honestly didn't get very warm. Warmer than room temp and slightly above my body temp so I turned jets on an relaxed. Burned my feet a few times by EXTREMELY HOT SPOTS in the hot tub from it heating up. I took a shower which was also not very hot at all (maybe their water heater has issues??) and had to be asked to be shown to the sauna otherwise they expected me to leave. NO CHANGE OF CLOTHES. So I'm getting sweaty in the clothes I came in -gross!! Music couldn't be heard in dry sauna so just random loud noise from whatever the thing is called they use to heat the place. I was offered hot tea or cold water. I was told several minutes later my hot tea was outside and had a dry mouth so immediately went to grab a small bit to wet my throat. It was cool, lukewarm at best and I went to get some as soon as it was brought. REALLY ANNOYED. Decide to finally just go home. At least I had a somewhat decent massage. So not worth $100. Especially for the "day pass" access to dry sauna and hot tub. Never saw a relaxation lounge with tvs. Go to leave and I'm stopped by a man who demands a tip. I look at him confused a) how does he know I didn't tip on card and b) why is he demanding a tip?? Tips are not something I have to give. Especially for such a poor experience that cost $100. He BRINGS OUT A SIGN (like I'm 2) and points to it that says to tip. And I'm like 1)I could have been grabbing cash from my car after realizing I didn't have any on me and 2) you don't have to act like I'm stupid. Plus I bought the DAY PASS. The plan was to go have lunch and return because I was trying to get as much as I could for having spent so much money (which is something I never do but I have a lot of back issues and pain and finally decided to treat myself). After making me have a panic attack and become anxious I decided NOT to return as I felt unwelcomed. I usually leave positive reviews too so I'm kinda sad to write this one.

The "foot reflexology" massage is such an awesome deal—it's actually a full-body clothed massage that costs $30 for an hour. I tip $10 and it's still less than half what i pay to see my awesome LMT. Moreover, Fly Dragon is often available literally as soon as i call and say i want to go over, which is *wonderful* when i have painful muscle tension NOW. Sure, there's a language barrier with the masseurs, and it's different from typical spas in this country—I believe some of the negative reviews here are just about cultural misunderstandings. In my opinion, it's neat to do something different. And maybe there is a better new owner recently, as someone said? While you may use a credit card, cash is preferred, if you'd do them the courtesy.

I have only had the reflexology foot massage and it was amazing

My boyfriend and I came here one Saturday afternoon for the spa day. It was a great experience. We added a couples massage, as well. The massages were wonderful, sauna was rejuvenating, the staff were gracious and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable and worth it! We will be coming back again!

Worst experience ever! If I could give them a zero I would. The hot tub was broken but still usable. They had us wear weird outfits and slippers. They didn't serve us tea when we asked for it. The owner ended up arguing with us about the payments. The workers didn't speak English so I couldn't tell her what I wanted or what I wanted her to focus on. Overall worst experience. I will never go there again.

Stephanie Brooks

$30 foot reflexology was a pleasant surprise! You get almost a full body massage for an hour. I’m happy with that~ I found the main area to be very clean. While on the table I noticed their practices were hygienic as I heard the masseuse wash their hands each time they left the table. My only complaint was it was quite noisy. Lots of passing conversations and bodily sounds (burping, hacking up phlegm, and coughing) But honestly I was pretty relaxed and my service was great. I will be coming back, loogies and burps won’t scare me away from a great massage for $30!

Horrible massage. Don’t waste your money. Then they stood at the door and asked for a tip after. Bad experience.

"Spa": There were some cultural differences that I am aware of, I'm bilingual so I am not a monolinguist, but I was literally unable to communicate with the staff member up front. If I had questions, he handed me a phone to talk with someone else. I was placed in the men's locker room, if there hasn't had been anyone else (bad sign) and if I hadn't had been stressed enough to strangle someone, I would have just grabbed my money back and left. This was my first opportunity in months to relax, so I made it work for myself. The cedar sauna sa as actually nice, just not hot. Which is a shame. The hot tub was gross, I gagged getting in. The shower rooms literally felt like something out of a creepy dream. I rushed out to get home, and proceeded to drink half a bottle of wine to forget I went to this place. Spend the money and go to Everett House or Common Grounds. PLEASE! For your own relaxation experience.

Clean, relaxing, inviting. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. My husband and I went on a Tuesday late morning and we were the only couple. They gave us our own soaking room and a brief tour of the place. The atmosphere was warm, wide open spaces that still felt cozy. We got a couple's massage that was outstanding. This was also in our own private room. They told us we were welcome to nap in the theater room and even brought us a blanket. We felt very welcome and we thought the price was good. $100 each for a long soak in our own hot tub, use of the showers, a huge dry sauna, the even larger theater room, plus an intimate hour long massage. We will be coming back on our next tip to Portland for sure!

Hustled for another tip at the end of the visit

Do not here, cheap massages yes, but questionable hygiene practices. Zero customer service. Masseuse's hands smell like tobacco and fish. Zero consent and huge language barriers make for uncomfortable massage experience when you try to tell them to stop or did not go so hard. my masseuse had to leave a few minutes into my massage and go sort out a customer service issue at the desk. Did not apologize or make up the time that they were gone from my 60-minute massage.

Gave about 45 min notice for 3 people to get a foot massage which was $30 and very enjoyable. They did the feet and practically the whole body except like my thighs. We are very happy. Limited English so just understand that. Cash/check only I believe.

Best 足疗 in town. Have a full service facility with very professional staff.

I don't typically write reviews but I feel the need to after reading reviews for this business and then actually experiencing a massage. I just left Fly Dragon and had an hour deep tissue massage. My experience was wonderful. Sure there will be a bit of a language difference but it's not that challenging. I was greeted and we understood each other fine, everything went smoothly. After my great massage I looked around at the doors to see if there were locks on any of them or on the handles. Guess what? Yep you guessed it, not a single lock in site. I was never approached nor felt hounded for a tip. Not once while i was there had I felt uncomfortable. Reviews are for speaking the truth and not being dramatic jerks. I mean you guys are fun to read and give me a great laugh, however you do affect small business owners. Pretty cool place. I will go back

Shockingly bad "spa day" for the price. After having been to Korean spas where $30 will get you access to nearly a dozen different dry and wet saunas, different temperature tubs, and relaxation room, this place felt like a total ripoff. There was one lukewarm tub and a single cedar wood dry sauna. The showers were also not nice like they usually are at a jimjilbang. Avoid this place.

Amelia Muldrew

Worst massage I've ever had, it was more painful than relaxing. I would never suggest going especially not for the 'foot' massage.

The spa changed new boss, and everything was changed, more clean, more exciting. I did a spa day and foot reflexology, that was so amazing, they extra a new service named scrub, that was so wonderful. I will come bace again

There is a reflexology guy who is great but I don't recommend this place because of the owner. The first time I went with my husband who had some initial questions. The owner became irritated with him. I let it go thinking it was a one off and went back again. I got the same guy for reflexology and it was good. The third time I went it was a disaster. I had called to set up a 3:00 appointment and the owner said it would be better to come at 2:30 based on his schedule. I agreed but when I arrived he said things were backed up and asked if I could wait 25 minutes. I had the time so I waited then he tells me he can get me in but not with the person specifically asked for, but his wife. At that point I should have held my ground but I was tired and indecisive. So this woman starts the treatment; it is ok but nothimg like the guy. Toward the end she suddenly leaves. I am on my stomache and I am waiting for her to return when abruptly I feel a different set of hands on me. They don't feel good; they are trembling and the touch is uneven and rough. It is too hard and hurts. I feel paralyzed somehow though able to utter "OUCH " and ask who it is. Turns out it was the owner Randy! He said that the woman had an appointment and had to leave. This felt like a complete violation and was totally inappropriate. He should never assume that he can just come in unannounced and start touching someone's body. I was creeped out (and bruised in parts) for days afterwards and will never go back there. This is my first time posting any kind of review publicly. I do not want a response from the owner.
