Very unprofessional. They called me and changed my appointment with short notice, and then failed to hold the same amount of time. The hairstylist had me sit in the chair for 40 minutes waiting and then told me she didn't have enough time to do my hair. Dosha consistently has awful customer service for salon that's trying to be high-end. I've had similar experiences over the years at the Hawthorne and NW locations. It hadn't been in 3-4 years so I tried them out again at this newer location - still very disappointing and pretentious.

I came to dosha solan with very dry color damage hair, with a yellow blonde color. I didn’t have very high hopes that anything could be done to really change that. I meet with my stylist Alysia. She asked me what I was interested in doing with my hair. I explain that I wanted a natural looking ombré and I did not want to put any color in the healthy hair that had grown out. And the results were fantastic. Not only did my look and feel healthier, but the color looked vary blended with natural hair. I highly recommend Alysia to anyone. She is vary friendly and has outstanding customer service.

I came to Dosha, road hard and put away wet, having been through the ultimate ringer trying to find a good stylist for my curly hair. I've been to stylist after stylist some who supposedly specialized in curly hair others who were simply highly recommend, the long journey has been nothing short of an utter disappointment. I was on the brink of giving up and just shaving my head bald and buying a wig! That's until I came and saw Jasmine! Not only is this entire salon professional, warm and welcoming, but they know their hair! I could relax and trust that I was not going to be taken advantage of or ripped off, pricing was clear and upfront, I was comfortable and not only was I listened to when explaining my hairs needs and what "I" wanted, but I was also given her own professional/artistic recommendations. Sometimes you need help figuring out whats going to look good or your just ready for a change. In those times you expect that you can rely on a professional to take you under their wing! Jasmine was just that! She has extraordinary vision and can do both! Jasmine is very well educated with all types of hair and shes also very up to Parr with the ever so quickly changing hair styles and trends. Shes a color expert and she transformed my hair quickly! I honestly don't think i'll go anywhere else again! If you want quality, check this place out but especially book with Jasmine!! You will be very happy that you did! Definitely well worth the 50 min drive to Clackamas! Its exciting to feel relieved knowing I've finally found a stylist that is a true hair artist! Had a junior stylist i told her i wanna go for burgundy red color on me. First appointment was 3hr and in the end my gair was completely still black unless i go in the sun. I actually showed her 2 pictures in my phone on what color i want. Came back at second appointment, she vleached my hair and bleached too much it turn out i was so blond..the result she turned me into a golden blond Asian girl. Oh my Gosh i paid for $160 and my hair looks like someone was a cosmetology student worked on my hair. She eNted to chArge me more money on each bowl of color that she applied on me aNd i was like "hell no..!" And im glad that i disnt pay any extra doe her experiment on my hair. Next time i will not come back to this clackamas location anymore. I will go to a sallon shop that is way way experienced hair stylist that Dosha

The visit was fine and the stylist very nice. I was uncomfortable watching her cut my hair, that was down to my rear, because she cut it dry. I've never had anyone cut it dry before. I kept calm and thought she must know what she's doing... it's a high end salon. However when I got home and had to restyle it it was terribly uneven and very choppy. So very disappointing. How in the world can someone screw up so bad with that much hair? Its cut to the base of my neck now because I had to go somewhere else to get it evened up. Its horrible. I paid $75. Plus a $20. Tip to this girl and had to drop another $50. to have it somewhat fixed. Never will I go there again! 16 inches gone, and she took the first 14. I'm extremely unhappy.

I recently hired Dosha's elite bridal team. I had wonderful experience. My hair stylist Joe Ortis was amazing. He made me feel like a queen on my wedding day. He was very professional and talented. I've been trying to find a new hair stylist since I moved here 2 years ago. I have an awesome stylist/friend. He is so invested in his clients. I will be coming back to see him for life. I also hired Juliana Griffin as my makeup artist. She was super sweet and easy going. She was very attentive about the look I envisioned on my wedding day. She was very easy going and she was easy to talk to. She makes you feel like you're talking to your best friend. Juliana makes you feel like a model without the heavy makeup. I will be returning to see her in the future.

I love how my scalp and hair feels after seeing Joe! We have a discussion about color and cut each time to make sure we plan for any future color changes. My scalp feels great after each color and the color doesn’t fade. My haircuts have been easy to manage and style which to me is the key to a great hair cut. Joe pays attention to details and I especially enjoy having a hot towel under my neck during my hair wash in this cold weather! The gentle hand massage while my hair treatment is sitting is also unexpected and nice. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Location is clean and easy to find parking. It’s a great location for a day to yourself. Good eating options nearby and the mall is right there! Highly recommend. Pricing is affordable- not posted but just ask!

I got a gift card from my boyfriend for Christmas to get my nails done. I havent been here before, but his mom and sister have had great experiences there. I was able to set up my appointment online which is great. I got Kayla Jones as my nail tech and I cant even express how amazing she is! She was so friendly, very easy to talk to, plus did an amazing job on my nails. I got shellac pink nails with a gorgeous gold chrome top. I was very indecisive, and she was more then happy to give me suggestions. They turned out perfect. I also really like the brand of shellac they carry (CND). It's not as thick and doesnt damage your nails nearly as much as other brands I have tried. Best manicure I have ever had!!! Plus she really took her time. I will definitely be returning and requesting her! I am thinking I need a pedicure as well! I wish I knew the receptionists name becuase she was also very friendly when I was checking out. All in all, it was an amazing experience, thank you!!

As sad as I am to have to give 1 star I feel that is appropriate. I was refused service because I had my almost 8yo son with me. Told this is policy, although I am unable to see that this is a policy since it is no where on their website. I have been going to this salon for almost 2 years. Legally my son is allowed to stay home alone at 9 & we had brought lots of things for him to do during my appointment time. Of course I do not prefer to bring my son along to appointments, it sometimes becomes necessary as my husband works nights with some weekend shifts. I am VERY disappointed in the management of this salon & the lack of accommodations made for working families. I can no longer support this business.

I would barely even give this place one star because of the woman who did my hair. I came in yesterday and I gave her clear instructions and she gave me full on bangs which are uneven and I didn’t even want them, then when she cut the rest of my hair she only cut the back and thinned the back and everything is uneven. I tried to pull the ends to the front and see if they were even and there was like an inch difference between the two sides. I’m never going back there, you did not deserve my money.

Came in with my mom and my daughter for a birthday "spa day". The stylists are all very nice and competent. Had my first facial, and my only complaint was that the facial moisturizer or whatever was very sticky and thick and I had to wash it off to avoid my styled hair from sticking to it along with my shirt and everything else. Maybe facials just aren't for me. I continue to come back to Dosha again and again as it's one of the best choices around for talent and quality of service.

My first hair appointment was plain and simple: Chop everything and start fresh. She was nervous at first ( It was a LOT of hair to get rid of!) but once we started to talk about what I wanted or needed, she took over and provided the best look for me. Since that first appointment I've thrown some crazy hair style ideas her way and she's executed each look with precision. Her willingness to try new styles and color is a plus for me. I have zero problem letting her creative energy and technique flow. I always look forward to each appointment and so should you! Made two different hair trial appointments for my wedding and neither one of the trials turned out close to the reference pictures. I had multiple pictures of the front and back and neither looked right. On the wedding day the woman I did the trials with didn’t even end up doing my hair and it again looked nothing like the updo I asked for. Needless to say me and my mom ended up redoing our hair at the venue and instead of the updo I asked for, I wore my hair down and curled for the wedding. One bridesmaid took an hour and a half to get her hair done and the woman put three braids in her hair, also did her makeup and the bridesmaid redid it in the car ride to the venue. We scheduled the bridal party appointments in the salon and I received a call weeks later stating that the staff there aren’t suppose to do the scheduling and that they have a separate scheduling system and that my profile with them was messed up, they had three brides listed and half the party wasn’t on the list to begin with, and once they sorted out who was who, on the day of they still didn’t have it right on which person was receiving which service. All in all the staff was really nice, however their scheduling was a nightmare and the stylists are not meant to be doing hair and makeup for events. I would not recommend them.

First I want to start out by saying the staff at Dosha Clackamas was wonderful! My experience was great from start to finish. Receiving warm tea and a hand massage was such a nice touch. I was just shopping at the mall and noticed there was a location right there! Anyways, I just wanted to see if they could squeeze me in for a quick hair cut and they were able to get me in right away. Chelsea cut my hair and did a fantastic job. She seems very knowledgeable and confident with her skills. I'm happy to give them my business and will definitely be returning.
