She is always willing to take extra time to ensure that the color is exactly what I want, and has an amazing bubbly personality to boot. I had a wonderful deep tissue massage with Jason, and plan to go back. The staff were all super friendly, and the spa is immaculate, and nicely appointed. My only issue would be that we had 9am appointments, arrived 20 minutes early (as instructed when I made the appointment), and the door was locked. Although there were staff inside who saw us, they didn't open the door, and we had to come back. It would be nice to let customers come in and wait in the lounge.

Tara is an amazing & competent massage therapist & did a terrific job. However, the pipes near the massage room were incredibly noisy & kept making loud pounding sounds. Just as I was about to relax I heard a slamming noise- not fun! I explained this to the receptionist and she was defensive- saying it wasn’t their fault and there was nothing they could do. I ended up paying full price, and was disappointed with customer service

I had been looking for a new salon and was a little hesitant when I first made the appointment. However, my hesitation was quickly put to rest when I first entered the salon. I was warmly greeted by several stylists and asked if I wanted any refreshments while I waited. My stylist, Kari, really seemed to care about how I wanted my hair styled. She was kind and friendly. I loved how she recommended products to use based on the way that I style my hair but never once did she try to sell me anything. I left my appointment knowing that I had found my new salon!

She listens and never tries to convince me to do something I don't want. She helped my mom go grey. Helped with the details and good cuts to make it look better but was also super supportive and encouraging through the process. Kalli is just ready for anything. My mom lives in another state but tries to see Kalli when she is in town because she also can't find a suitable comparison where she lives. Had a one hour massage with Heather, she is amazing! Convenient location downtown. It's a little noisy in the massage area , you can sometimes hear voices from the salon area. I did not have that experience at other Dosha locations. Working on that issue would be a definite Improvement, however, I had a great experience there, and would definitely recommend.

After 2 years with no haircut, I figured it was time. I have always been really nervous about getting my hair cut, since I have super curly hair that’s difficult to style. I researched the highest rated Aveda salon near me and found Dosha. They did not disappoint! I was scheduled with Natalie, who dry-cut my hair. She did a really great job informing me about proper curl care. And while I was nervous about a dry-cut, I now know that it makes such a big difference in the quality of the haircut. Being able to see how the curls flow while cutting is important, opposed to cutting wet curly hair! Natalie is such a personable, talented gal and I’m so happy I’ve found my go-to stylist after moving from Atlanta! I would recommend her to everyone, and especially those with curls. I have never had a therapist spend so much time on the area that was bothering me and she helped another area that needed work that I didn’t know about. I have NEVER been this satisfied with my hair and over all look. She was extremely professional, knew what she was doing, and immediately had my trust to handle my unruly hair. To be honest, the ENTIRE experience was at the very least, AMAZING!! For what I paid for a wash, cut, scalp/neck massage, blow dry and style;prices are very fair. From where I’m from, you would have paid at least double for those same services. She even gave me a hand massage afterwards. The staff was very uplifting to one another, and seemed like a family. I have never felt so good afterwards. Thank you guys for a very positive experience. Whenever I’m back to OR, I’ll be seeing you! :)

Giving them 2 stars for customer service. I made my appointment in store 3 months ago and confirmed via text 2 days before. When I got there, they said they didn’t have me on the schedule and made me show them my text confirmation - not that it helped when I showed them proof. In the end, they ended up switching me to another location, at a later time, and of course with a different person than my preferred stylist. I got a mere 10% discount, which didn’t even cover the Uber ride to the other place. Oh and did I mention it was my birthday and I was late to all of my other appointments because the later hair appointment messed up the rest of my plans.

I have been getting my brows done here by Raven for years. I got the thick brows and it takes a real pro to handle em. She is wonderful. I get my hair done here as well and it's so nice to go to a small salon with such talented staff.

I first came to Dosha for my wedding hair and got an appointment with Kalli. She created exactly what I wanted and was so wonderful for the big day (and shout out to Ashly for made the reservation process completely painless and stress-free)! I didn't expect to go to her as my regular hair person—just because I lived on the other side of the city. But after several bad experiences at other salons to maintain my post-wedding chop (angled bob), I came back to Kalli, hoping she could make as much magic happen with my everyday hair as she did with my wedding hair—and she did! Not only did she help smooth out a cut from another salon that had left me in tears, but she helped me transition my style to something I could more easily maintain, and now there's no one else I will go to!

Called me and left a voicemail 20 min to my appt that they’re canceling my appt due to unexpected service redo. I did not see my phone as I was already on the way to my appt and found out at the front desk. Not happy about the cancellation but it may have been for the best and I was not the one having a redo. Will take my hair and money else where.

This place is the best placer in Portland. I went somewhere in Beaverton to get this hair color and they consult destroyed my hair and did nothing I asked. I was trying to do a red to dark blue type look for my birthday and my husband's and I anniversary but they didn't at all do it I had like red orange hair. Then I found Dosha and not only did they fix my hair they did exactly what I wanted and cost wise it was less with better product and outdone. I will forever go there and always recommend them. They did my hair and makeup man I love them.

Jason at Washington Street location was excellent. Worked out the kinks in my muscles and suggested stretches I can do that might minimize the problems from my gym workouts. Facilities and people at this location were great. Booking person was a bit of a question...said couldn't recommend Jason because she didn't know him as she did others that she recommended. I felt she discouraged me from trying the new guy though he was the only guy and I had asked for a guy, wanting stronger hands. Perhaps Dosha needs better internal communication concerning recommendations, or not provide recommendations at all during booking. I'd rather call the location than call the bookings number, but that's the only number Dosha published.
