Love H-MD Medical Spa! I recently went in for my first time for injections, and my experience was everything I could have hoped for! I was very nervous, but all of the staff I dealt with were very helpful and made me feel at ease. I had a consultation with Kayla for Kybella. She asked what I was looking for or what I wanted to do, and she told me what would be needed to achieve my goal. I'm so glad I went with her! I'm two visits in, and am already so excited for my results!! I will def recommend H-MD Medical Spa to everyone!

I went to receive fillers and Botox. Brooke was the nurse doing the procedures. She took the time to assess what I was wanting and what I needed. She was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. She took time with the procedures which was extremely reassuring and that this was not a cookie cutter procedure and one size didn’t fit all. While the product itself i.e. Juvederm, is good it is only as good as your injector. She also discussed future options however did not try to push treatments. I will definitely return for future treatments.

I've had mostly good experiences here. I've been several times and the staff is always professional, but never remember I've been there before. Dr. Hunnewell and Starr are both great. My photofacial did not work, but they have told me they will make it right. Evidently, there was some problem with the laser when I had mine done. I had an appointment yesterday, however they could not find it in the system. Brooke had an opening and worked me in. She was great. I would definitely recommend them.

Scheduled today to have botox, have had botox here several times in the past, and used my Care Credit card. When paying they decided to let me know they "changed" their rules, and now you can not use this credit card for payment on "Sale" items or if it's under $1000. Would have been nice to know ahead of time being as it's CHRISTMAS, and i planned on using my CareCredit for my gift to myself. Another lady in the lobby waiting was floored about this change as well, because she had planned on using her card that day as well. As a manager who accepts CareCredit at my medical office this is nothing more that Dr. Honeywell's way of not having to pay a transaction fee which is very very minimal. You loose customers when they type of unprofessional behavior is given.

The laser technician I've seen is really sweet, scheduling is really easy and staff is all polite. It is a very welcoming place, not stuffy like some spas can be. And there is never an “overdone or blown-up look”! Few women want to walk out with FISH LIPS! You won’t have any bad surprises with Dr. Hunnewell at the helm of your “youthful transformation.” Just try to remember it’s a process that can’t be achieved in one visit. Not a fan! The filler wasn't even (the right side of my face as 1/4" higher). I called the next day and was told to let it settle for 2 weeks. Fair enough. Because I didn't want to appear unreasonable I went to another practitioner to ask her opinion and she was even more critical than me. Her advice was request the right side be dissolved. A month later, I returned to H-MD Medical Spa and saw Dr. Hunnewell who was defensive and almost refused to dissolve it. I received a lecture on aging, expectations, and told why I need to plump the left side (add more filler) and not dissolve the overfilled right side. The experience was less than pleasant, I didn't get the results I wanted, spent a lot of money, all to walk around with a lopsided face. **10/24/2018 UPDATE** Dr Hunnewell called to discuss the above batched treatment. Twice during our call she said she would refund my money (remember she dissolved it on one side). However, when a month past, then two, without receiving a refund, I called the office manager. He took my calll, promised to look into it, and NEVER called back. I’ve called several times without the courtesy of receiving a return call. THIS IS THE WORST SPA EVER! Botched treatment, then Dr lies by agreeing to refund money, and office manager fails to return calls. With so many options out there for your injections and beauty treatments, I highly recommend NEVER using this facility!

I have to agree to some of the reviews on here that if you are expecting to see the results you were dreaming of it will be a “cumulative experience”. I went in for fillers, and although my lips are thin, I do realize now that I will be needed a second injection to fulfill the look I wanted. This is not a bad thing and I do think that the environment here is a great place for those that want to boost there self confidence. I have gone to one other location that offers lip fillers in OKC and they were going to charge me 700 for one syringe of lip filler, so when seeing that H Md was having a sale for 400 I was ecstatic! My only advice is to look at this as being a two for one deal! Those who have thinner lips will be needing to be patient with the process, and if you do have more plumper lips one syringe will probably do it for you. The one reason as to why I gave it 4 starts is more on my part, since I came in and did not have a set plan in mind for what I wanted so I can’t say I am unhappy overall with how they look now- I think next time I will focus on my bottom lip instead since not even those in my family could tell any difference with my top one.

After reading about the Hydrafacial, it appealed to me because it did not require any down time and I could get back to work right away. The person who gave me the Hydrafacial (unfortunately, my mind is drawing a blank on her name) was very professional and sweet. To echo the other 5-star reviews, Doctor Hunnewell & her staff have been extremely helpful to me. Despite having a busy practice, I’m almost always able to schedule an appt. that day or within a days of my calling. I’ve consulted many MDs in my life, and it’s rare I’ve found one as knowledgeable, accommodating, and concerned as Dr. Jennie Hunnewell. She is hands-down one of the best medical Doctors I have seen in my 35 years of life! Her demeanor and bed-side manner is calm, positive, thorough, attentive, flexible, & personal. The last time I saw Dr. Hunnewell she made me feel comfortable, relaxed, & asked me questions about my career & my life in general not just my reason for coming in. We also discussed vitamin supplements to address some life phase events & she made recommendations as to what I need. I find that doctors usually are distracted or rushed when visiting their patients, but not with Dr. Hunnewell. She REALLY cares about my whole being and not just the fact that I needed Botox. Additionally, I could tell that Dr. Hunnewell has a well-rounded medical background & approaches her care with a western & eastern perspective, not the typical medical “fix it & get rid of it” approach. We have to remember prevention is key! It is for this reason that I give Jennie Hunnewell MD / H-MD Medical Spa 5 stars! I honestly can't say enough good things about Jennie Hunnewell MD & H-MD Medical Spa! I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone that values their health & wants a doctor that’s holistic, empowering, & truly cares about the whole patient! If you are looking for a doctor whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, with cutting edge treatments & procedures, treats the whole person inside & out, & takes the time to be caring even while maintaining a very efficient office, then Doctor Jennie Hunnewell is someone you should consider visiting. Nice people, tried them out on Groupon because I had moved close to their office - but have had Botox injections many times to know what to expect and just didn't get a very good job completed. When I went back I was told it would cause a droop if I did that area - I've always done that area and I have never had a droop there and no movement. Just let's me know they are not at the top level of knowledge know how, for injections.

I had botox with a nurse injector which yielded poor results. I went back in to see if there was anything that could be done to fix the problem. I was told nothing could be done (by a different nurse injector...not the one who placed my botox). They apologized for the results and said no refund was allowed. I spoke with the office manager Glenda who promised she would follow up with me on the phone either the same day or the next day after she talked to the physician. She never followed up as promised.

Great place. Staff is always super friendly, including Brooke, Starr, and the cute red head that did a laser treatment on my face! They dont treat you differently if u use a groupon and will even honor groupon prices without one!
