I visited The Village Spa yesterday for the first time. Morgan cut, colored, and styled my hair. She was fantastic! She spent time talking to me and figuring out what I wanted, and did an excellent job. The Spa was super cute and cozy. All of the other employees were just as nice as she was. I highly recommend it for anyone who has a formal event to go to or just wants a day of pampering. You won't regret it! Thanks again Morgan!

I love my hair stylist! She gives an excellent style and doesn't try to up-sell anything. I love the new haircut she gave me - I've got curly hair and she understands it so that I don't get any surprises. Well, actually, I got a pleasant surprise when I realized that my new cut is wash and wear - no effort! Thank you, TJ!

I am very disappointed :( My nails looked better and more natural then ever. But they started chipping and cracking all over. I do not have a strenuous job and I have never experienced this with even the worst of techs. It was not big deal actually as long as it could just be fixed. When I called though the tech was very kind she made zero offer to fix my nails. I asked how much it would cost to have them fixed to perhaps prompt her to offer to correct a clear issue and she gave me the pricing without missing a beat. Lol. It is important to me as a customer that people honor and stand by there work and when they do not that is an issue for me. I will not be back. Unfortunately I am very serious about my hands and nail care and if I have to pay twice in one week to have my nails done, that will not work for me.

Made an appointment with stylist Lori 2 weeks ago to get my daughters hair done in an "updo" for homecoming. She has medium length layered hair. Showed stylist several pictures of styles my daughter liked. We decided on a certain one for her hair , the stylist agreed she could make it "similar" to the picture. And We didn't expect it to look exactly the same, but similar yes. This stylist appeared to have little experience in doing formal updo's. She kept combing and taking down my daughters hair. She would tease it, then comb it out. It was crazy! Another stylist ended up having to come over and FIX the mess the first stylist we were scheduled with had done to my daughters hair. The second stylist Kelly, was professional and did the best she could to salvage my daughters hair AND our time. My daughters hair looked ALOT BETTER than it did when the original stylist did it , however, IT WAS NOT WHAT was asked for originally. The original stylist Lori, did only charge me $45 instead of the $65 -- so I can say they were fair. I want to say Kelly provided GREAT customer service(stylist who fixed my daughters hair) and I am so happy she came over and offered to help fix my daughters hair!! I am sad to say , I will NEVER GO BACK TO VILLAGE SPA. I expected more from the reviews I read. The second stylist KELLY should not have needed to fix the mess the first stylist created. The stylist we were scheduled with originally, LORI, should have been competent enough to do her job. Don't waste your time or $$ MONEY$$ getting an updo here.....

This place is OK. I needed a nice cut and the one I received was decent, but don't think I'll be going back. I almost wanted the girl cutting my hair to stop midway because her technique was so fast and far from meticulous. Typical haircuts take me about 1-2 hours. My hair was washed, cut and styled in around 30 minutes at this place.

I received a gift card over a year ago for this place, and every time I call in, they either don’t answer their phones, don’t return their voicemails or when they do answer, have no availability for massages or facials, since they only have one massage therapist on staff. I’ve tried to get in 4 separate times now, with no luck, as they have very limited availability. If you have such poor staffing, you should offer a refund on the gift card so the client can go elsewhere for the services that you’re unable to provide. I’ll stick to Woodhouse Spa, where the availability is much better, and customer service is always their first priority.

I received an hour long facial from Linsy last week, and OMG...my skin looks and feels amazing! It looks better than it has in years. I am literally glowing. She did a fantastic job and I will definitely go back when my budget permits. Book yourself a facial at Village Spa, you won't regret it :)

Zero Discussion About Service Cost and a HUGE Bill to Boot I visited the Village Spa on June 1st, 2018. I came in much closer to my last hair appointment as my daughter is getting married and wanted to make sure my hair looked nice for her wedding. When I arrived at the salon I met with my stylist and he began working on my hair. My hair is short (to my chin) and thin. The stylist applied some foils, a bit of color on my roots and trimmed the end (less than half an inch if that). At no point was I ever told that I was going to be billed as if I had a thick head of long hair. I was charged for a full highlight, a retouch and a full haircut totaling $195.00! I would have NEVER agreed to this as I do not have enough hair to justify that cost. I feel completely taken advantage of and will NEVER recommend this salon to anyone. I will make sure to tell anyone considering a visit to think twice and to be prepared for a HUGE bill. I have attached photos of my pre-hair appointment (forward facing with face covered) and post hair appointment (back and side).

I can’t say enough about the Village Spa! I’m from out of town and came to Cincinnati for my bachelorette party. We were lucky enough to find the Village Spa. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make the day special for me and my bridesmaids. They worked with us so that we could get everyone scheduled for the types of services they wanted and made us feel like royalty the whole day. The staff is so amazing.
