This salon has a very friendly staff. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I walked in and a stylist (Janine) cut my hair right away. It looks great! I will definitely be back and will recommend The Hair Studio to my friends.

The only salon I'll go to! The salon is clean and conveniently located downtown. I've gone there for years and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Serena is my go to girl but I'd trust anyone who works there.

I came in to get my hair curled for family pictures. I was able to make an appointment with only a week's notice, and I loved the way my hair turned out! Chelsea explained everything she was going to do and told me how to keep my style looking it's best once I left the salon. I'll definitely be back!

I've been going to the Hair Studio for a little over a year now. I've been seeing stylist Emma Harrison and I must say, both her and the salon have been wonderful to me! The entire staff is very friendly and the downtown location is perfect! I love the vintage vibe of the salon with the high ceilings and hardwood floors. The atmosphere is super and where else can you go get a great haircut and walk next door for a Thurman Burger?

Hours are listed as opening at 12 tried to go at 12:45 and doors were locked but lights were on so i tried calling-after 2 rings it went to voicemail as if it was a cell phone that ignored the call. Dont waste your time driving here. You wont get in.

I just moved here and after reading the reviews made an appointment in early September. I specifically asked for a wash, cut and blow dry. To me, this means drying my hair with a blow dryer with a curling iron. The cut wasn't too bad, although I was never asked if it was looking the way I wanted. But imagine my surprise when I was placed under a hair dryer for my hair to dry. I thought I was clear in what I wanted. Next time I went back to my old hairdresser 2 hours away.

For hair and eyebrows I only go here. But I got a pedicure yesterday 1/21/16 and there were still bits of skin sticking up, I felt it when I got home. Ginger did killer pedicures when she worked here, I am not saying don't come, just check the work before you leave, when it comes to pedicures.

Had the worst experience here - I will never return! The hairstylist did not speak to me the entire time, she was in such a rush because she was hungry; my balayage turned out terribly, it looks like something I could have done myself. Long story short, I have learned my lesson, I will go elsewhere from now on.

I've been trying out this salon for the last six months and have had okay experiences there. I always leave happy with how my hair turned out, but I feel awkward and out of place while I'm there. The staff is highly trained and very talented. The Hair Salon just seems to lack a personal touch that makes you comfortable and wanting to go back.

I was in Delaware the other day and had some extra time while waiting for a client to meet me so I stopped into the Hair Studio to get a quick hair cut. They got me right in right in with no wait. Chelsea did a great job on my hair! I did not look any younger but I did look a lot more professional!! I will be back!

Chelsea Lenhart is absolutely wonderful! She has been able to take my hair from one extreme to the next without even bleaching it or damaging it. She is not afraid to ask her coworkers for their opinions on ideas which shows that she isn't just throwing something on your hair. She puts all of her effort on you while you are in the chair. She does not quit until you are 100% happy with the way you look. Not to mention everyone else there is super nice and caring as will! I will recommend her and The Hair Studio & Spa to anyone and everyone I know!!

A long overdue review...I came to this place only once two years ago. It was my first time getting my hair colored and was very nervous and anxious. But the staff was truly over the top. Very kind, professional, and gave great advice! I made the mistake of not going there my second time and trying a different place in Polaris that charged way more for the same style. I don’t remember much about the staff friendliness (If it wasn’t great I would’ve remembered so I’m guessing it was alright) but the owner who did my consultation was amazing (or I think he was the owner). I’m planning to get my hair done again and thought of this gem close to home and decided to leave a review. Definitely plan on updating with my next hopefully great experience.
