This was my first visit. I was a little nervous and worried I wouldn't be able to relax not knowing what I should expect. From the front desk to the end of my massage, I was guided perfectly and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. I can't wait to go back for another spa-cation!

Honest review here(I never give reviews, but this one here was a exception) - I went in for a massage today and it was pretty bad. The massage therapist pushed on my bony prominences more than once. And when I told her, she gave me an attitude. Maybe she thought it was knot, but it wasn't(I'm a massage therapist myself so I would know). I would not recommend it. Maybe the person I went to was just the worst of them all, but after that one experience I will not be coming back here. Bad customers service from my massage therapist, and a awful massage. The only plus is that the front desk lady was kind and understanding and the spa was beautiful. Other than that it's a never, ever again for me.

I just got my eyelash extensions and when I first got them they looked great. I loved them. Not even 48 hours later my right eye already has about 50% gone and I followed the directions for the first 24 hours. No showers or sweating and they’re still gone.

UPDATE: Someone did reach out to me and apologized for the behavior of the front desk staff. It was mentioned that there were a few new people that were hired that have not properly been trained. I suppose that does happen so I will not rate the business solely on that. I will update rating based on my experience to come. ———————————— i just called the location to schedule an appointment and the front end desk staff had no idea what they were talking about. i was trying to use the bring a friend option that comes with my membership which lowers the cost of the service for the person that comes with you. the staff member was incredibly rude, and kept giving me false information. when i asked her if someone who actually knows the membership pricing could give me a call, i was hung up on. i have no idea how this is acceptable for any business. i have been a member for almost 2 years, and i am strongly considering cancelling after this. also, on a side i have tried to schedule an appointment for a few weeks now. i would try to do so a week ahead, and i have not been able to get in as there have not been availability. i was told there was a lack of massage therapists. i have all these credits that have built up because there is no availability. so not sure what the point of having credits if they can't get me in to use them.

Just had a terrible experience at Spavia! Had appointments for myself and my teenage daughters. When I made the appointment I gave the receptionist their ages and she said I would need to sign a parental consent form and it would be fine. Arrived 20 minutes early and filled out 2 consent forms and changed. After 20 minutes we were told I had to be in the room so we couldn’t do the services together and my youngest could not receive services. They stated this was the “law” but it is no where on their website and the receptionist said nothing about it. And, I know many girls who are my daughters’ ages who have received the same exact services in other spas in Ohio. Another 10 minutes pass and they say none of us can receive services because it is too late past our appointment time. Keep in mind we arrived 20 minutes early and were kept waiting until past our time. So we drove 35 minutes one way to change clothes and sit in a room for 30 minutes. I will never be back!!! This is the only negative review I have ever written for a business. No other place has infuriated me as much as this one. Way to go, Spavia!!

I have has many massages with a variety of therapists with a variety of techniques. My experience here was exceptional. I loved the therapeutic waiting area with all of the amenities. Duane is the most talented therapist I've had. We made me feel very comfortable. He was professional, and extremely talented. My muscles have never felt better. I highly recommend!

Got a back massage a few weeks ago. Was good at the time, then strained my lower back pretty bad a few days later. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. But the main point of me reviewing is because I came back for eyelash extensions before my vacation. First off, I wasn’t fully satisfied with how they looked. Definitely not full enough for the price I paid & what I was expecting. Second, there was a big ordeal with prices because apparently the ones they have online aren’t accurate. Between calling to make the appointment (saying at least 3 times what I wanted) & going in and physically showing them on their website which exact eyelashes I wanted, there was still confusion on which ones I asked for, & I was still never told that the prices had changed (even when I specifically said “yes the $169 eyelashes”). I ended up paying $50 more than what I had expected just for the lashes, and even more with extra tax and tip. Got a $30 credit for the “inconvenience” but i won’t even be going back to use it. No one should pay almost $300 for eyelash extensions that last barely 1 week. All I wanted was nice eyelashes for my 9 day vacation.

My wife and I went for a couples massage in June. The paperwork I filled out had me check "Light", "Medium" or "Firm". I circled "Medium" and put a "+" next to it, meaning somewhere between medium and firm. The therapist dug her elbows into my back so badly that that I winced in pain. She told me to take a deep breath as she continued to dig in. I am STILL in pain 6 weeks later. (Between my spine and my right shoulder blade) The rest of the massage was fine, but being in pain for weeks after a massage does not seem right to me.

First off, my appointment was set for 10 am. As I was walking out the door I receive a text stating my esthitician had called off. I was then rescheduled for 440 pm. The sandals I received was for two left feet. And finally.... At the end.... They had tried to up charge me on the wrong facial. This was suppose to be a relaxing day but was such a head ache.

Had a fantastic time with Kelly -> My first massage and she was very professional and kind and made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend the deep tissue massage as it genuinely did make me feel good. Make sure to drink lots of water before and after and you'll have a fantastic time at this spa!

Duane is the reason I will be getting a membership. He’s the best deep tissue masseur I’ve had. The scheduling can be a little iffy at Spavia at times, perhaps a bit more communication between receptionists and staff is needed, but the quality of care is amazing. Today I actually got an appointment for massage and facial for same day. Amazing! They go above and beyond and the facilities are clean and super relaxing, so I don’t mind waiting a bit if I need to. It probably means they are just helping another client feel taken care of. Great experience!

I had a great experience the first couple times I went here. Good enough that I was Willing to sign up for the monthly membership. Unfortunately 2 months ago, my appointment was booked for the wrong day & I went in looking forward to a massage only to find out it had been accidentally scheduled for a day I was unable to go. Irritating but I was willing to brush it off. Fast forward to today, walked in for my massage & once again it had been scheduled for the wrong day. The girl that booked it was the one checking me in & she just said ‘I must have clicked on the wrong day.’ No apology or asking what can be done to fix it even when I pointed out this had happened last time I came in. A simple I’m sorry would have gone a long way. I plan on canceling my membership because of the incompetence & unprofessionalism of the front desk staff. Sad because the massages were great but I can’t keep blocking off time in my busy schedule just to go in & be turned away

Was so excited to get my eyelashes done for the first time. Hoping they would look as I was expecting it but no at the end I regretted paying so much money. I felt like you Couldn’t even see I had them on so I took them out after a week. Same thing happened to my friend, she ended up going a few weeks ago and said she didn’t like them. I think before you get them done there ask for the size of eyelashes they are using because they don’t inform anything about it.

Worst customer service and experience I have had with a Spa around the Dayton area. I had an appointment scheduled but unfortunately had an issue with my car that forced me to call to cancel my services. Upon calling, the person that I talked to indicated that they only considered deaths as an emergency to cancel and not charge any cancellation fees. Their cancellation fees are half the cost of the services you are requesting to which with upset I agree to pay even though it wasn’t under my control my car issues. After explaining this to the person on the phone at Spavia Austin Landing she said that the cost would be $56.00 since I was immediately rescheduling one of the services, long story short THEY CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD TWICE THE AMOUNT THEY INDICATED BECAUSE THE MANAGER APPROVE IT, how can a Manager approve charges to a customer credit card without notifying the customer beforehand!!! I realized this charge AFTER my phone call ended with them. If I could give them half of a star instead of a full one I would. NO ONE SHOULD EVER CHARGE THE CUSTOMER WITHOUT EXPLAINING THE CHARGES AND MAKING SURE THE CUSTOMER IS AWARE OF THE CHARGES INSTEAD OF APPROVING CHARGES JUST BECAUSE. This was my FIRST and LAST interaction with Spavia I will continue to go to The Woodhouse Spa in Beavercreek customer service like no other.

This rating isn't based upon my service but pricing. I made an appointment that stated I was scheduled for a new classic set that would take 120 mins & be $99 (eye lash extensions). When I checked out the receptionist told me my total and I was very surprised. She then informed me the extensions are $199. I told her the website said $99 and she said she wasn't sure where I'd saw that but this is the price. I asked to see a price sheet and she proceeded to tell me it wasn't on the sheet but she did write it down for me. If you look at the photos you'll see why I was anticipating on spending $99 for the extensions. If there is a significant difference in price, I feel that I should have been told prior to receiving my service. In that case I wouldn't have paid $199. My technician Nicole was great! The salon itself was nice. Unfortunately I feel that one of my eyes have lost many lashes and just received the service yesterday. I have followed all directions. Again, this is why I'm not ok with the price I paid. I don't typically leave poor reviews because I work in customer service as a Manager and I'm aware most people leave reviews to complain. Just be aware of what you're paying prior so there are no surprises! UPDATE: My review recieved a response immediately. I called the salon the following day and spoke with Carrie. She looked into what happened, verified that the $99 price is what I was supposed to pay. She explained what happened, apologized and refunded the difference back to my debit card. I totally understand mistakes happen but I'm very happy about the way they resolved the issue!

At first glance, what’s nice about this spa is the facility and true spa-like ambiance (robes and lockers provided, showers available, warm neck wraps in waiting room, tranquil lighting). The value for me is in the membership, which makes reg visits affordable. Plus - what I really like - is that it works for a variety of services. So during the summer I tend to the “glow and go” body scrub and spray tan, during winter I get facials or massages. I like being able to switch treatments depending on what my need is that month.

Horrible place unprofessional a lot it gossip an unsure of who can do what. Never received the service I asked for from beginning , lied about her ability and only one eye was done right but not even close to the way I asked she told me when she was done with the horrible job. who wants a half done job could have said she couldn’t from the beginning and just told me the style they do instead of a different person who removed those horrible lashes told me only two girls know how to do what I asked for and the girl I had was new and should not have been doing it in the first place but the certain kind of lashes they provide would have never given me what I wanted any way I still have yet to receive my money I would never go again or recommend anyone to waist there time. From the beginning the receptionist was not trained giving me the run around and calling me several times with different appointment times. I would not even leave one star to be honest.

I purchased a couples massage on Groupon. I am giving them 1 star for the price. 1 star for the politeness of the front desk staff, and the 3rd star for the attractiveness of the Austin Landing spa. I was disappointed with my 1 hour "full body" massage. I expressed that to the masseuse as well as the front desk staff. Most of my 1 hour massage was spent on the left side of my back, some on the right, and maybe 10 minutes on my neck. Before I knew it, it was over! Not one second were my arms, hands, legs or feet touched. My masseuse said it was because my "back was so tense". Okay, I get that, but I was there for a "full body" massage! The young lady at the front desk said that the manager was busy, and would be giving me a call. I even gave her my business card with my contact info. Well, it has been 2 months now, and I haven't heard from anyone. I run a small business, and am a mother of 2 boys. I was really looking forward to my spa day, and it was a disappointment, to say the least. I took away 1 star for the massage, and another for not hearing a word from the manager. I was very patient in waiting on a phone call from the manager, but it seems I may never hear from her. I guess I will try a different spa next time.

Today I was supposed to have my first appointment here. I was not given a good first impression. I confirmed my appointment via text yesterday. Then I came in for my appointment and was told that they scheduled the wrong Whitney Mills and when they called her to confirm this morning she said she didn’t have an appointment so they cancelled it. I don’t understand why they would call the morning of the appointment when I confirmed yesterday. Then, they charged my Mothers credit card (my maternity massage was a gift from her) for the massage I didn’t receive nor cancel. When my Mother called to get a refund for the amount she asked about what happened and they told her something completely different then what they told me. They told her that they just dialed the wrong number when confirming but they told me they booked the appointment under the wrong Whitney Mills. Neither of those situations add up because they text the correct number for confirmation. I’m only giving two stars because they gave me another appointment for 3 days from now, and offered me an upgrade of 20 minutes. I guess I’ll decide after my next experience if it’s worthy of more or less.

Customer service was very good but my lashes have not even lasted a week.. they started falling out heavily the second day I had them. Now it is the 4the day after I got them done and I have less than half left. They look terrible.. I followed all instruction that they gave me.
