I'm originally from CA and had avoided hair salons for nearly 5 years, since I'd had horrendous experiences in the past. after constantly being recommended to try Revelations; I hesitantly decided to try (went in there expecting to leave unhappy) Ashley turned my orange, brassy hair into a beautiful brown with ash highlights. Her technique was amazing and fast (working on both color and highlights at the same time.) I had my 2 year old with me and they never made me feel uncomfortable for having her there and were amazing with her. I was so happy with the results I made an appointment the following day with Larena K. to add a peekaboo pink on my hair. I am so so happy with the finally results and can not thank them enough! The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, the place is impeccably clean and the overall energy there is amazing. if you're on the fence, I urge you to go! you get what you pay for, and even then I found the prices to be reasonable

I had below average experience on numerous occasions. Prices are very high, quality is D+. I changed this over the top salon to a smaller salon in Lakewood and cannot be happier. Quality is simply not there.

I was rushed through my service last Saturday (9/29/18) and my subpar updo came undone shortly after. When I called for a refund they 1) did not return my call until after the event I was attending started 2) Did not address the poor quality but rather the price difference between the service my sister had and my own, which I was not calling about and 3) Did not offer a refund even though the work was poor. The reason the front desk attendant gave me was "there was a bridal party here today", which should not matter. If my appointment was booked and my money was being taken, then my service should have been completed properly. What a sham, what a joke, what a waste of time!

Excellent experience. This salon was able to fit me in last minute! Carol D cut and colored my hair perfectly to my liking and even took time to walk me through how to curl my hair at home when she was finished. Would highly recommend this salon and will be back. I made an appointment with Keith and let him have the freedom to give me the cut and color that would make me feel like me again. It was perfect! I'm very happy with the outcome and I will be back.

After this I got a mani-pedi (not a groupon but the service) again the service was amazing and so quick! I can't believe I've never been here and i will certainly be returning for my needs. Not worth it. Revelations was the closest spa to my house so I kept trying, hoping for a better experience, but their gel manicure, massage, facial, and bikini wax were all lacking. The manicure lasted for about two days (instead of the promised two weeks). The facial was more of a face massage without any extractions, while all of the services always felt rushed and as if the women working weren't putting in any effort.

Failure. I tried to forgive them, but they can't do what I asked and gouged me for more money than is reasonable for what I could have done at home. I came here for my fantasy hair color. I wanted a bright oil slick mermaid hair color, and I brought several reference photos to help the process. The first trip this passed Tuesday to see Larena K. ended with me walking out of there at 8pm looking like I had koolaid dipped my hair at home and did not resemble any of my reference photos. I contacted the salon, and sent pictures to the owner, who promised to make it right. That's after I was assured my hair would look different in the daylight and that it would be fine by larena... 245$ down the drain, cause I don't just not tip someone when they have spent so much time on my hair. I was scheduled for a color correction and promised that I would get what I asked for, but I had to request a different stylist, because I didn't believe that Larena was equiped to do the hair I asked for, even though I explained what I wanted when scheduling the initial appointment and asked for someone with the skills to accomplish it. Friday rolls around and I come to my appointment with Stephanie. She does a good job consulting and Mary Constanzo, the owner helps figure out what I want. I choose purple, hot magenta pink, and bright aqua blue.... 4 hours later and I walk out of there with purple, pale pink, and slimy silvery green. I asked the owner when she came to check up on me if they had lifted my hair to a bright enough color to get what I asked for and she assured me they had. Before I left, I acknowledged to Stephanie that the blue wasn't what I asked for, seeing as it had come out "silver" in thier blue/white lights, and she said it would look better in the sunlight. I had no idea if they would take the money from Larena to give to Stephanie, so I tipped her $50, cause she did a better job than Larena, but when I called Mary to ask why they couldn't get the blue I asked for, she said it wasn't possible. Which I know is baloney because I have had blue hair before in high school, but she said everything looks different in different lights. All I know is nearly 300$ later, plus a cancellation fee for a medical appointment because the first failure of a hair appointment ran until after shop close, I am out a lot of money and still have to go pay another salon to fix what they did to me.

I treated my daughter to a day of pampering for her birthday. What an amazing experience we had! The facials we received were awesome, and our mani-pedis look terrific! (I have ugly feet, and Jimmy managed to make them look pretty!) We got our hair done, and miraculously, my curls stayed all day. Everyone was friendly and attentive to our every need, and we can't wait to go back!

I went for an ombré with Lorena. My hair had a lot of new growth and had red hair dye in it from months ago. She lightened some of the bottom but it still didn’t have the drastic look that I was going for so they let me go back in and fix it free of charge! It looks great now and I will definitely be returning for an appointment with Lorena!

The staff very super nice. I did a pedicure. They used a nail polish brand that dries a bit faster than regular polish and it is not gel. However only two days after my visit, my polish is chipped off. Usually my polish lasts 2 weeks on my toes!!! I am not happy about that.... :( overall it was a nice place.

I loved my first visit at this salon. I have been seeing my Stylist Rachel Core for years now and now that she is at this wonderful location, its a match made in hair heaven! Rachel is amazing and knows what to do with my hair without even needing to ask. I have never left her careful hands with a bad cut or color job and I always get compliments on her work! She truely is a genius with hair and couldnt be happier. The ambience at the salon is calm and relaxing and doesnt tout the typical snooty environment that you would get at other salons of this caliber. I would recommend Revelations to anyone and especially to Rachel! I look forward to my upcoming Mani appt and many trying many more of their services! Go Revelations and Go Rachel Core!!!!!

I made an appointment a week ago for a haircut with Larena. I'm 100% sure that when I scheduled the front desk said June 10th at 11am. I also have the card they gave me with the same information. When I arrived there, front desk could not find my name in the system. Larena says she has someone else coming at 11, and that my appointment was at 10. That's very disrespectful with a new customer. No phone calls, no text, no e-mails. Very disappointed with the place. Won't recommend to anyone, and will make sure nobody I know makes the mistake of going there.

Each time I come in, it's the highlight of my month and my little oasis in my otherwise hectic life. I am so relaxed that I catch myself drifting off. My only regret is that I have to get up and drive home. Treat yourself- Go to Revelations and ask for Jimmy. You'll be glad you did!

The staff is friendly but their work is bow standards. Had my nails done and by morning two came off and within 5 days only had 2 left on my fingers. They redid them and the owner was there and she was rude like I did something wrong. Also had my hair done and it looked horrible . I went their for a hair style came out with straight trimmed hair. Wish I could find someone who can give me a style.

I recieved a gift of massage,facial & pedicure. A pleasant experience. The massage was not deep tissue, that was a negative. The facial was fine.The pedicure was the best. It was a bit challenging to climb up to the pedicure station. My attendants were great.

I'll start with the positive- I walked in & didn't have to wait. I got the worst gel manicure I have ever gotten in my life here. I only went because I had a spa finder gift card. I have gone to countless salons and always get shellac or gel- so I am not new to this process. Not only did this manicure look terrible.. it was not done professionally. She caused me severe pain while cutting my cuticles, did not get even near the sides of my nail beds, and it took at least twice as long as it normally does. This was about a week ago and it has almost completely chipped off. Sorry to say I would never return for any services.

If you cherish your hair, DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! My boyfriend went to get a simple men's cut, and they chopped his hair like they had never cut a man's head before. It was completely uneven and horrible. I thought things like this only happened in movies, but he actually had to stop her because she kept making it worse and worse. We went to his regular salon immediately after leaving for an EMERGENCY haircut. Plus, I had made an appointment for myself at the same time as his haircut, but they pretended I never made the appointment. So they made me wait for 30 minutes! Thank goodness, because when I saw what they did to my boyfriend, I ran out of there as fast as I could! Who knows what they would have done to my long hair!

If it weren't for my hair stylist and Nail Tech, I would go somewhere else. The salon is already in need of repairs, replacements and upgrades. It's very noticeable that corners were cut when renovating the new space and it makes the experience less enjoyable.

The stuff was incredibly nice. The environment was so cute and clean ! But they didn't ask what part of the body we need it more pressure on , or more massaged. Even thought they did the whole body they focused more on the shoulders and neck . I would go again and maybe ask them from the start what body part you need focused on most.

I received the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever gotten. The tech was very kind, but the nail polish was old and gooey and after it dried I had tiny bubbles on all of my nails. It was a terrible result. The worst part is that I emailed pictures of just how bad the job was directly to the owner and she never even acknowledged me or offered an apology. I was actually very kind and surprisingly not even angry, but had hoped to hear back with a simple "i'm sorry", but never got that even. I even reached out to her twice. I won't return there nor would I recommend that any of my friends spend their hard earned money where their business isn't appreciated.

I've come here before for a simple hair cut and nail polish, but this time I was looking for something different for a new job. I was a bit concerned at first when I wasn't greeted within the first 5 minutes or so of standing at the desk. I was also asked if I would consider a different stylist due to a booking issue, which I didn't mind at all. The stylist that ended up working with me was VERY nice. She was super helpful in determining a style for the occasion and the cut came out even better than she had explained it! The wash, cut and style all took under an hour to do. I believe the stylist's name was Angie I definitely recommend her and will be visiting her (or Keith, whom I've also had a great experience with) again in the future!

I took my mother and step sister here as a mother's day gift. They got nails done and my mom got a hair cut. First, the entire staff is super friendly. The place is clean, pretty, and just super comfy. However, Carol and Shelley (Might have misspelled that) are absolutely fantastic in every way. They were both quick with their services but still beyond wonderful in the job they did. I loved the experience so much that I am for sure going to talk my boyfriend into buying me a haircut and hopefully some nails too! AND to top it all off, a hair cut, a full set of acrylics, and a manicure all together was only $100. The price for the experience, in my opinion, is unbeatable!

I gave this salon two tries. The first time I asked the price on the phone, and when it came time to pay they charged me $10 more. I thought okay, must be a reason, and let it go. The second time I MADE SURE to get the exact quote on the phone and sure enough, when it came time to pay, the stylist told the receptionist to charge $39 instead of $29 for a simple haircut. Bottom line, TWICE they tried to charge me more at checkout then what they said on the phone. I feel like it was very dishonest and obviously won’t be back.

Due to their inability to listen without speaking over you, they ask the same questions and then get nasty when you’re displeased about having to repeat yourself over and over. I got a facial here for the first time. And it was pure bliss. The staff is amazing and so welcoming. They create a comfortable and inviting environment by offering u tea/coffee. They are extremely nice and polite. Jessie did my facial, and it was magical. My skin feels amazing, alive and rejuvenated. She is extremely skilled and the best.
