Today I experienced my first ever 1 hour float and then followed it up with a 1 hour massage! I have never felt more relaxed in my entire life! The float tank was awesome, you literally just float... I wasn't sure what to expect or if I needed to bring anything with me for my float but everything is PROVIDED.. Shampoo/Conditioner/Body wash/makeup wipes/petroleum jelly (for cuts or scrapes), and even an ear wash solution in case you get salt in your ears! .. First you shower with a special wash to remove any and all oils from your skin and then you are ready for the salt tank... After your float you will shower again and wash your hair and body normally.. I then put on a robe and opened my door to my massage therapist, Kylie waiting on me for my 1 hour massage! .. The environment was very warm and welcoming from the time you walk in the door until the time you leave! I drove a little over an hour for this experience and I sure am glad that I did.. Exactly how I needed to spend this Sunday!! .. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in trying a flotation tank to go ahead and do it and get the massage, you won't be disappointed! Thank you Gravity Spa for giving me the relaxation that i needed ❤

I went to gravity spa a couple weeks ago-- what a neat experience. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was clean and calming. There are two reasons I'm giving 3 out of 5 stars. The first is because while my massage was good (as in, hurts so good) my therapist worked my left side substantially more than my right. If she did something 5 times, for example on my left, she'd only do it 2 times on my right. It felt good but it was NOT a balanced massage. Now I can say, two weeks later, my left side is STILL sore. I actually had to schedule a massage, at a different place, to try to work out soreness. Anyway, the second reason is because for DAYS after my float, I had water in my ears. Now I will say that ear plugs were provided but they weren't really sold as something to use. The person explaining the float tank kind of mentioned the ear plugs stating we may want to use them if we have swimmers ear or a history of ear infections-- but she doesnt use them. Please, whatever you do-- USE them! Unless you like crunchy water sounds in your ears for days and days! (I eventually got the water out by a 1:1 blend of rubbing alcohol and vinegar dropped in my ear) Will I go back? Probably. Would I recommend it?- surely! I will ask for a different therapist and wear ear plugs, though ;)

It took a little while to figure out how to relax, but overall I really enjoyed the experience. Everything was clean and professional. I will definitely be back!

The massage therapists were great, asked multiple times to make sure we were comfortable and that the amount of pressure was just right for us. Highly recommended! My husband and I love Gravity Spa. We have had several massages and have been impressed with each masseuse so far! They listen to your needs, make sure you are comfortable, and work on any problem areas that may be bothering you. They have a very professional team and a super relaxing environment from the moment you walk in. We have also tried the floatation chambers. The floatation was much more comfortable than I expected in terms of space and feeling claustrophobic. It is much bigger than it seems, and you can leave the door cracked if you want. My only negative for Gravity Spa was that the shower in the float room needed some updating and repairs -- however, they are doing upgrades at the end of July 2018! So they are on top of things!

Alechia was AWESOME!! First massage and she made me feel comfortable. Told her my Dr wanted to give me a injection in spine for pain but suggested to try a massage. They suggested your place. Omg!!!! She hit the bad spot and I was able to get off the table and into car for the first time with no pain. 2nd visit awesome again mentioned I had plantar fasciitis and OMG she took the time to massage my foot and I could finally walk barefoot when I got home. It's a drive but well worth it. Life long customer. You are a Godsend Alechia and Gravity Spa. Can't wait for next visit.

I had a deep tissue massage which was awesome! She hit all the right spots and didn’t mind that I wasn’t all too chatty, just needed a little quite time to myself to regroup. Tried the float for the first time today. The overal concept is intriguing, but I honestly had a hard time relaxing in there. Maybe sensory overload:) I would definitely try it again but probably not with the massage on the same day. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone! The staff was great! The atmosphere was great! The service was great!

I had a hot stone massage and float with my wife. Couples massage in the same room. My therapist was Maretta, and she was amazing! The pressure was perfect. When she found a trouble area, she gave it a little more focus. The stones we're hot, but not scalding. She was so smooth that most times I could not tell when she transitioned from stone to hand. The room was clean, it smelled great. I was never not relaxed. The float was fun. It took a while for neck to relax, but by the end I was falling asleep. I'm sure it's the closest I will get to floating in space.

I’ve been here several times and have always been very happy. I have booked with Elicia three times since late June. Each time I booked the next session as I left. On Thursday I received my confirmation email for the one set for tomorrow (an appointment that was booked 3 weeks ago). The email stated the correct time and date but when I clicked the confirmation it had a different therapists name. I called and was told that Elicia had taken herself off the schedule and instead of checking with the client as to whether they preferred to keep the appointment and have another therapist or book when Elicia was available, they just booked me with someone else. I’m disappointed in the lack of consideration for the client. Searching for a new place where I can get the same person each time.

New review from 11/28.... Scheduled my massage online... I didnt see who I was scheduled with but all I know is I wanted a relaxing massage. I came in a massage therapist got to know me and my needs for todays session and then we got started(she was amazing). About a quarter in there was a knock on the door. I guess she was not the one who was to work on me. She was so nice and was apologizing. The other therapist came in and worked on me. It was not the same experience and my relaxing massage experience was not so relaxing and not what I was expecting on this date. They took off $10 for the inconvenience and said it would not happen in the future. I connected to the first therapist better than the second. Overall not the best time. Today I did the float tank..glad I brought my shower cap because how the shower was set up (over head shower). But if I do it again I will bring a swim cap.. I had my head in floting pillows in the tank but my hair still got wet. 90mins was too long for me I was ready to go with about 15mins to spare (I think). I had to go home to re shower and of course was my hair. Overall it felt good. I just dont think it was for me... staff was friendly as usual.

My husband & I had the most incredible experience at Gravity Spa. We did a couples massage for 1 hour then right into an hour Float. This was our first professional massage & it certainly now won't be our last. Elicia & Kylie were exceptional. They listened intently to our desires & then provided us with pure relaxation. I was nervous about the float at first but within moments of being inside of it I was transformed. I was in such a relaxed state it was as if I were meditating. Which I've never done. It took someone a few knocks to "wake me up" from my euphoric state. It's been about 6 hours since my float & I still feel the effects. I would absolutely recommend trying this out fur sure. Great massage place - I'm a big guy and tend to be very sore due to my work in an office chair - I get a massage once a month to help my back and neck and I have tried just about every massage location around(literally, I'm talking 20+ competitors) - Some places are cheaper however I feel that since I go once a month, I'd rather pay more for a higher quality massage once a month, then an "OK" massage twice a month. It cost me $75 to go here today with an 1 hour deep tissue massage with Annie and it was well worth it. My last place the masseuse I had quit so I gave this place(and Masseuse) a try and was very pleased :). I would highly recommend her especially if you need some back/neck/pain/knot relief, she knows what she is doing :D.

This is one of my favorite places. The environment is cozy, homey and a tiny bit industrial. Super clean and They have the friendliest staff on the planet. I am always spoiled rotten when I go. Noah is an amazing masseuse. My muscles never felt more loved! So much tension melted right away. Floating in the isolation tanks is the best most relaxing reset Ever. I have a lot going on in my brain all day, lots of demands of me and floating is the most perfect quiet to unload and dream again with no interruptions or demands. ❤️❤️❤️

Today was my first visit to Gravity Spa in Beavercreek, OH. The staff was very friendly and professional and greeted me as soon as I entered the lobby. I selected the full-body one-hour relaxation massage to help reduce my pain due to a fibromyalgia flare up with the inconsistent weather and every day stress from work. Angie took great care of me today and I felt so much better. Before leaving, I already scheduled my next appointment with her in April. Check out their website to see the different options. You can even schedule your appointments online. Their spa is located back in a neighborhood, but was easy to find. I recommend you treat yourself to one of their massages.

I had previously read about Flotation Therapy or some call it Sensory Deprivation Therapy. I was eager to try this at Gravity Spa. I was taking it all in when I first got into the pod and just trying to see how I felt to others experiences I read in the reviews. The temperature was a match to my skin temp as expected. The water with the salt content feels good on the skin. I was surprised how truly easy it was to float, extremely comfortable and when I laid my head back that was instantly comfortable without feeling like the water was on my face too much at all. I was still moving around as the water was still moving around in the tank upon entry. So laying back taking in no sound, and no light, opened my eyes, pitch black. Okay, so those reviews are true. :) So again lay back and try to relax and rest. My mind is racing, If felt as if I caught my legs tensing up and breathing deeply. Then tell myself to calm down, relax, several times this occurred. Then finally success, was able to relax enough to be relaxed enough to be at sleeping level and not wanting to get out when the 60 minutes was done. Due to a full schedule that day I had a massage scheduled later to return for and choose a relaxation massage. I typically don't select this type, but the massage therapist was wonderful in being able to massage for a truly relaxing massage. Absolutely would recommend Gravity Spa. If you have never tried flotation, give it a try. I will be a returning again.

Had a couples appointment booked for 4 weeks with this company. Went in today only to find out there was a "scheduling system error" and they only had one of the two of us booked. Supposedly the "sysyem" cancelled of our appointments and another customer booked last night in that spot. The lady at the counter had the nerve to say , it was no big deal and it wasn't our fault.... of course it wasn't our fault! Waste of taking a day off work for a low budget second rate company. You get what you pay for, I highly recommend paying the extra few dollars and go to a more reputable spa that doesn't look like it's in someone's basement.

It is in a older building and a bit of an odd location. That's just a fact. Not much you can do about that. The experience and service level was great! This was my first time floating . It was relaxing and invigorating for days. I have MS and am always sore and stiff. I felt totally relaxed and pain free. I need to do this on the regular to try to make more long term gains. Its very peaceful, very relaxing. Not scary! Nice clean facility, you are in a large private well thought out room. With a nice shower, soaps, towels, and floating tank. You are at peace with the world. Plan a nice massage afterwards... pure heaven!

I have been in some sort of pain (neck, back, hips, legs, etc) for at least 20 consecutive years. I have been to several massage therapists, spent tons and tons of money...no amount mattered as long as the pain went away. My husband purchased a visit for my birthday and I immediately thought "money down the drain" but I was soooooo wrong. Annie gave me the best massage, focused on all of my problem areas, and was very professional. The tank looks overwhelming as I am claustrophobic but I had no issues being in there for 1 hour. My mind relaxed so much that I had to be woken up with a knock at the door. I got THE BEST sleep I have had in years! And for the first time in 20+ years my body is pain free! I will be back. This will not be my last visit and I thank this wonderful spa for making me feel so much better.

My husband gifted me with a 1 hour massage/ 1 hour float experience: I’d consider myself an experienced massage client and typically receive a massage every 2-3 months. I love the experience; atmosphere, free booze, relaxation rooms, the whole shebang. No matter where I receive a massage, I haven’t been able to find anyone better than my go-to guy, John, at Bellazio, and no atmosphere better than Woodhouse Spa. But a massage, is a massage, right? Not so much. My 1 hr massage was performed by a male therapist that was a new grad. Even though I reiterated many times how my shoulders have been killing and are full of knots, he didn’t work on them. Instead, he focused on a few knots in my mid-back that weren’t even bothering me. He continually asked if it felt OK throughout the whole massage. He didn’t even massage my arms or scalp. The massage table squeezed, and there was a clock in the room that ticked loudly with every second. It was very obvious he was new at this. 2 stars for the massage. The 1 hour float was cool! A new experience for me. I found it relaxing and a centering. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the float room much better than the massage room. 4 stars for the float. All in all, I’d float again. Right when I got in the car, though, I called Bellazio for a massage with John because my shoulders still killed.

I love this little spa. I've gone twice. I once a few years ago for a prenatal massage, and again today for a float. The staff is always. Friendly and accommodating. The place is immaculate. They think of everything from candles to even having shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and fabulous lotion waiting for you at the of your float. I'm very happy their service and will continue to come back.

Found Gravity Spa online and was intrigued by the flotation idea. Absolutely loved my massage and will definatly be going back! The float was a little different but i don't relax easily and I'm highly claustrophobic. Like anxiety type claustrophobic! I still tried it and it really wasn't bad.... wish i could've relaxed and enjoyed myself more but i am willing to try again. Amazing place to unwind and relax! Thank you ladies!

I am a Mom/Bonus Mom to 6 kids and was in serious need of time for me. Gravity Spa was so amazing! My husband gifted me a Float and a Hot Stone massage. Annie gave me my Hot Stone Massage and I was blown away! I have no words to truly describe how amazing I felt during and after. The entire atmosphere was amazing. I was given tea prior to the massage (delish!) and water between sessions. The float was more than I expected! I felt so at peace in the tank. Thank you and I can’t wait to go back!

Three things: 1) The staff and owners are awesome. Every time I've been in everyone has been very inviting, upbeat, polite, helpful, and conversational. 2) If you're on the fence about floating, do it immediately! It's like reclining in a La-Z-Boy made out of baby oil and it's ultra relaxing. Claustrophobia wasn't much of an issue, because the ceiling is kind of high and it's super dark. 3) I float and get massages as often as I can but I go back every week for Yoga class. I think it's awesome and relaxing and I'm a 280lb ex-football player. TLDR: Gravity Spa is my favorite place in the greater Dayton area. I highly recommend a visit.

Had a wonderful first experience at Gravity Spa. Mimi greeted me enthusiastically, and continued to charm me as she oriented me through what to expect. I booked a 60 minute float followed by a 60 minute deep tissue massage. I had no idea what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flotation experience. Once settled, I was able to turn off my brain for a little bit. The sensory deprivation aspect is very interesting, so say the least - pitch black, and the only sound was the sound of my own ringing ears (which I have had for years). Post float, I met Frank. Frank was funny and wonderful. I enjoyed a euphoric deep tissue massage to end my evening. His manipulations were purposeful, and perfectly targeted my problem areas. Gravity Spa in general has a truly unique and wonderful vibe. The space, the people, the decor, the mood - all good. Thank you. I cannot wait to book my next session(s).

He didn't even massage my arms. I think a one on one may have been better. On another note my bf really enjoyed his massage.

I live in Nashville, TN but was in Cincinnati visiting family. I drove an hour to get to Gravity Spa and it was well worth the drive. This was my first float experience, and it was unbelievably relaxing. I think everyone should try floating atleast once. If you live anywhere near this place, I envy you! I will definitely be floating whenever I am in town. Unfortunately, Tennessee doesn't have any float centers.

Inviting place once you step inside. Very nice owners & staff. Reassuring. Not pushy. I'm claustrophobic. They allowed me to float with the door open both times I went. Drawback: open door lets warmth out of chamber. Melony suggested I use a rolled up towel to keep the door ajar next time. I'll do that. Definitely going to be a next time. :-)

I had the deep tissue massage with Annie first, then an hour float. Annie was great, very professional. The warm compresses on my back were wonderful. The float was relaxing. You will lose all sense of time. I thought it had been 15 minutes, it was over an hour. The venue is relaxing and the staff very pleasant. I will return.
