The salon is very clean, stylish, and inviting! The receptionist was very nice and accommodating. Additionally, Kristy was fantastic!! She is nice and fun to talk to. Her consult was great because she addressed all of my hair concerns in detail, even had some helpful tips for me to try at home. She did a nice job of blending the color I already had in my hair with the perfect shade of highlights. Lastly, the shampoo felt wonderful because she gave me a relaxing mini-head massage. Overall, I am extremely pleased, feel great with my new look, and would highly recommend Kristy and Blake Rose Salon! Will definitely be going back!

I recently started getting my nails done because I never have time to do it on my own anymore. As a first-timer, I have had nothing but positive experiences at Blake Rose. My nail tec Kayla is awesome! She does a great job with my nails, even got me hooked on gel manicures, and she is so fun to talk to. My manicures and pedicures last for 3+ weeks! The salon design and setup is so unique and cute! The prices are reasonable. I will definitely be choosing Blake Rose for other services in the future!

Went to see Allison for a pixie cut... What I got was a total hack job with uneven neckline, way shorter than what I asked for, and to make it worse, I kept getting stabbed in the head with shears. I even felt like she was rushing to get me out. Should have went to Lucky 13 where I know they can actually do a good job. One star says it all.

So far this was the absolutely best mani-pedi experience! For reference I'm 24 and work in a professional atmosphere. I am in a wedding this week so I wanted a French manicure and pedicure. Julie was fantastic, since I still had work to do I completed some reading while she did my toes and we chatting while doing my fingernails. Julie was very keen to make sure I liked the job she was doing, double checking color and once the white tips were on making sure I was happy with thickness/thinness and the shape. I really appreciate that! French tips can be a personal preference and since there are 4 bridesmaids I wanted to keep the same look as the other girls. Julie pay very specific attention to detail making sure everything looked perfect. I also am particular about clear polish I like to make sure nail polish doesn't stain my nail bed. Julie (without being asked) applied clear to the tips before the white tips. then clear to entire nail, then nude to the entire nail, then top coat. The result is perfect! The atmosphere was great, relaxed, attractive, lots of space for customers both receiving services and waiting. After getting a manicure I don't like to leave with wet nails, it just never goes well. The staff set me up at a nice table with magazines and a cup to tea to provide me time for the to dry. Not everywhere has a space for this and it was super nice not to worry about ruining my nails just to get my car keys out. Overall I really enjoyed myself, I've never had this nice of a French manicure (especially my toes I've had 6 compliment in the office already) and tomorrow the will blend perfectly with the other bridesmaids' nails. Recently took a half day and spent the afternoon getting a Lemongrass Ginger Spa Pedicure with Gel Polish with Lisa Suarez and it was SO relaxing. I called for an appt and was told wide open I could pick between 2 hour window. I said would be there in 30 minutes. I arrived early and was seated at a communal table. After sitting there for 20 minutes with people walking by and people working there reading magazines I inquire about my appointment. They said someone would be with me shortly. I could see people reading and talking. 30 minutes after my appointment and no one had even apologize for my wait or even offers water - I left!! There were no apologies for my wait. There was no follow up. They were not even busy.

I have never gone to a salon & spa before this appointment. I left feeling very relaxed and well taken care of. I got a 60 minute massage from Audrey. She was wonderful! Very helpful with my pain and tension as well as helped me to relax after a very stressful day at work. I also got a spry tan for my friends wedding afterwards and Abbey was very sweet and helpful give me helpful hints as well as did a great job making sure I was even and looked great. I have gotten so many compliments on it already and the wedding is not for another 2 days! My friends all want to come and get one too now. I also love that with the economy being difficult, they make it easier to pamper yourself with promotions. Who doesn't like a good deal?! =) Thank you Blake Rose Salon!

I used to come to this salon- I have seen different stylists over time. 2 of the stylists are no longer working at this salon. One time, when neither of the 2 stylists were available, I saw Bryan because of his high reviews. I know this salon (especially Bryan) gets rave reviews, but my experience with Bryan was beyond uncomfortable and unpleasant. He seemed like he was in a bad mood the entire time. He was not personable at all. He acted as though I were an inconvenience, and I was bothering him. In fact, through half the visit that day, he thought I was someone else! Ever since that experience, I have not been back. Not sure how he gets such high reviews. maybe you have to be a regular of his in order to be treated respectfully? (still doesn't make it ok).

I am always weary of where I go to get my haircut, especially since it's so difficult to find a stylist that can work well with curly hair, but I have never been happier. Bryan was able to give me the right haircut that matched what I wanted and what he thought would look best for my facial structure. I used to get spray tans on a regular bases but when I moved here two years ago I stopped. I was recommened to try Bliss Spray Tan because they are friendly, good at what they do and affordable. My friend was right! I had a nice experience when I went in last week for my first spray tan with them. The very bubbly, kind lady (sorry I forget your name right now!) took the time to answer may questions, listen to what I was looking for, talked through the difference services and how they varied for each other. My tan turned out very nice! It lasted a long time, never looked splotchy or uneven. I would say I found my new Spray Tan Location! :) The only thing I would say as far as an improvement would be the front desk never asked me if I wanted to re-book (which I wanted too) and they didn't offer me the packages my service provided talk about (and even said the front desk will fill you in more). Make sure there is that communication flow between the service provided and the receptionist. All around though, the receptionist was very nice.

Of all the places I have tried out because I "had a coupon," this is the only one I have ever returned to without a coupon. For me, that says a lot. I have enjoyed manicures, pedicures, and a massage at Blake Rose and found every person involved in the shop to be friendly, personable, and professional. The atmosphere is cordial and comfortable, not high pressure. Service is timely and competent, I'm especially fond of my nail tech, Julie. She does a terrific job and makes the experience more than enjoyable...downright fun. It's a treat to talk with her, and, oh yes, get a great manicure or pedicure. Had Lindsey W. cut my hair, mens cut. I feel like I could have received the same quality from Great Clips, or the like, for a third of the price and a third of the time. I won't go back. Lots of missed hairs, crooked lines and my bangs were cut way too short so they just stuck straight out. Nice space, nice staff...bad haircut.

Unfortunately a 1 star is as low as I can go. Extreme unprofessionalism has been shown from this company, especially the owner and the Salon manager. My fiancé simply requested information on a pedicure and in response received a chain of emails entailing a conversation between the two both calling her dumb and the salon manager even announcing "deal with dumb ones everyday" Both bio descriptions of the two emphasize a positive client relationships, including the statement "doing her best to make sure each client feels welcome and appreciated". This is ironic considering the insults delivered behind my fiancé's back. Don't go here unless you want to be one of the "dumb ones" and please spread the word that companies that make false claims of the customer is always right still exists.

I had been going to a very well known salon in short north and wasn't happy the last couple of visits, then had my hair completely fried and damaged so badly that I quit cold turkey. So, after a TON of searching and reading reviews etc for quite some time, I came across Blake Rose Salon and Bryan stood out right away. I watched his video, read his profile and pretty much immediately trusted this guy. Really cool salon, comfortable, very kind staff and very professional. Bryan is very personable, relatable and an overall cool person. Really liked him from the second I met him. After talking about my hair issues for a few minutes he went to work. I didn't question anything except asking how much he took off and I didn't care. I knew I was in good hands and needed a change. He had me stand up to cut evenly which I liked, cut a bunch of beautiful layers, gave me high and lowlights and bangs. All really scary things, a lot of change. Everything was PERFECT. I just trusted him completely and I'm glad I did. My bangs are perfect and I never let anyone touch them because they never look right. High and lowlights-perfect colors, layers are gorgeous and I'm not kidding- the style and blowout he gave me lasted an entire 10 days!!! I know that sounds disgusting, but I used dry shampoo in between and my hair hair never gets oily so I took full advantage of not having to do anything. I did NOTHING to it, even wore it up to go to bed every night. He is a real pro and should be working in Hollywood or New York, he honestly should. Trust me, stop looking around and asking everyone where they go and make an appointment with Bryan. You will never go anywhere else again. I can't make decision like this to save my life and will go months without getting my hair done from total fear of somebody ruining it again, it's happened several times in my 43 years. I drove from way north to go to him and I'm so glad I did. Also, I was there an hour and a half, that's it!!! They are about 2 weeks out for scheduling- CALL HIM. By the way- high end salon with good and fair pricing. Well worth it.

I was referred to Blake Rose by a friend early this year. I've gone to Brittany a handful of times now and have had great experiences each time! It is extremely easy to set up an appointment, and I've never had trouble getting a time that fits my schedule. My hair has been healthier, and I get compliments on my cut. Brittany always takes time to listen to what I would like and is wonderful! I have yet to try their other services, but look forward to in 2015.

Went into Blake Rose because I saw they sold Bumble & Bumble products and I was in need of conditioner. The girl at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. They were all out of the liter of the conditioner I wanted, so she was able to go to the back and get one that was meant for in-salon use. I wasn't planning on trying out a new salon, but after this positive experience, I have scheduled a haircut and plan on scheduling a massage in the upcoming months. Overall, the 2 people I spoke with here were very pleasant and the salon itself is beautiful and relaxing.

I got my nails done (gel) there once so far but I will definitely be back. Brielle did a wonderful job! The shaping is excellent, cuticles were taken care of, and the polish was done to perfection. My only complaint is the price, compared to my old salon in Grand Rapids, Michigan it is about $25 more expensive at Blake Rose for the exact same service and quality. I was a bit alarmed during check out, even after looking up the prices online prior to booking the appointment.

I can only speak to wax and nails (Lisa) but great experiences. I don't regularly get my nails done, only a couple times a year, but now whenever I need something done, that's where I go. Compared to other places in Grandview, I've had much better luck with my gel nails lasting.

I had a groupon for a manicure, and used it for a gel manicure. The receptionist was friendly and polite, and offered us tea and coffee right away. The nail technician did a great job. I went with a friend, and we both had slightly detailed ideas of how we wanted the paint design, and she went above and beyond to make sure that we were both happy with how our nails looked. I would definitely go back!

I LOVE this place. I went here from after seeing my friends nail and Lisa is fantastic! I moved to Columbus about a year a half ago and still haven't found a hair dresser. I decided to try here since I love getting my nails done here. I had Harlow H and she is absolutely fantastic. She took me from blonde to red to blonde ombre and it looks fantastic. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair. She is a master at ombre. Blake Rose is a one stop shop for all your beauty needs!

I purchased a Groupon for gel manicures here and I wasn't disappointed! Julie did a great job. Other nail places would ruin my nails removing gel but mine actually grew better after these manicures. I also got the longest wear out of my manicure here than any other place.

Every ounce of this place is absolutely fantastic. I've been to salons all over Columbus and this is the most impressive in whole. I had my hair dyed by Bryan's apprentice, Lesley, and she not only met, but exceeded, my expectations. She listened carefully to what I wanted and offered her stylist intel - bringing up great points that I hadn't considered. Bryan was wonderful to review her plan and make sure I fully understood the direction we'd be taking. The color is rich and luscious, and looks way more expensive that I actually paid for it! Even if you like your hair fine now, but feel deep down it could be one speck better, this is the place for you. Left with dream hair!

Super chic salon in Grandview, Easy to book online and great service providers. I love getting my nails done by Casey. I've come for hair and nail services and I'm always happy to go back. Parking is simple, there's a lot for the strip and designated spots as well. Pricing is pretty fair for all services I've had. Highly, highly recommend trying it out if you're shopping around for a new salon.
