I had a massage and pedicure there. The massage was pretty good, but the pedicure was awful. This lady told me she had been doing it for 7 years but was literally painting my TOE and had to wipe it off because she could not stay on my nail. For $40 you get a minor scrape to your feet, a quick toe massage, some salt mixture, and clay stuff rubbed on your feet. Then they put lotion on. She clipped my cuticles and did a terrible job. I have a bunch of skin hanging from my toes. When I got home I had to clean the polish off from around my nails. I can get a better pedicure for about $20 less elsewhere (design included.) I did not get a design. If I didn't have a gift certificate, I would have been extremely furious. Do not come to this place if you want a pedicure.

My wife just returned from Tranquility. She was upset at the quality of her massage. My wife specifically requested that her feet be rubbed, but the therapist said she was uncomfortable with doing feet until the end or something, and then never massaged her feet because she said the time was up. The therapist is supposed to monitor the time to make sure the customer gets what they specifically asked for. Instead, she told her to go home and put a tennis ball under each of her feet. Her therapist, Melissa was also uncomfortable using the essential oils that my wife wanted. The therapist also seemed inexperienced as she spent a great deal of time adjusting the sheets on the massage table. This was her experience. Enjoy!

PEDICURES = NOT WORTH IT MASSAGE = GREAT LOVED IT I had a pedicure today I was hoping that it was going to very nice and relaxing since it's at a spa and not just a normal nail salon. Well first of all the women was nice and gentle with my feet especially since the big toe was still sore from when I stubbed it. Anyways that's it when it comes to what I liked the water wasn't hot enough I should of told her to put it hotter but I didn't but overall it just seemed like a normal pedicure I didn't get massage that long either I've had much better pedicure at normal salons. And I even got the expensive package it's just crazy to spend over $50 for a pedicure that was basically just soaked and painted she did scrub my feet well but that was about it they could of done so much better. I had a gift certificate so it wasn't so bad but after that experience I doubt I will actually spend my money there for a pedicure. On the good note I did have a massage a few months back in the spa section of this place that was incredible I'm not saying tranquility spa is a bad place just don't get a pedicure there it's not worth it.

I usually walk away after a massage thinking it could have been better if....(fill in the blank)....never once did I feel that way with this massage. Fantastic! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS NAIL SALON FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. we paid almost $100 for " Spa pedicures" and it was a bunch of BS. Their response " we don't do it anymore, sorry" and did nothing to fix it, we shouldn't have paid full price for a simple pedicure. Foot masque, massage, hot towel = LIES But they do want you to pay FULL price of coarse.. Unfortunately we didn't realize until I felt like checking the description AGAIN on their website and realized we hadn't gotten the services they promised. I've gotten better customer service and pedicures at a Walmart nail salon.

My husband had purchased a gift certificate for me for a massage, facial and massage. When I made the appointment to redeem it I was told no pedicure until their person got off maternity leave. There was no other person to do it. Facial was wonderful! At massage time I was asked if I wanted a deep tissue massage. I said yes and at the end of the session, I was told I owed $10 more because it was deep tissue. Wish I would have been informed of that first. Wasn't mentioned to my husband when he purchased the gift certificate. They said I could take it off the pedicure price but then I'd still owe on the pedicure. Tranquility needs to inform clients of any extra charges. The place is beautiful and I have to say very tranquil!

Overall my experience was really wonderful. I had my first 60 min massage in about 7 years! Jessica Smith was my massage therapist and she was great! Starting out she asked if there were any areas in particular I wanted her to focus on, I told her and she went right to work. Checking every so often if the pressure was adequate. Also, I greatly appreciated her input as to what she was noticing and what areas maybe needed more attention. Before she was complete I already knew I needed to get in with her again. I scheduled my next appointment before I even left and I'm so looking forward to it! The only thing I may suggest is offer clients with a bottle of water after a long massage. That dehydrated and slightly lethargic feeling after a massage can catch up to a person really quick. The atmosphere overall is so clean and cozy feeling, I just wanted to soak it in. One additional thought, Jessica mentioned how much she truly loves offering massage and I could tell she really meant it. Her praise towards the salon and its owners solidified my desire to go back.

I did the Oasis Package and added a manicure also. I did not have any gift cards. Started with the facial and that was great. My mani/pedi was awesome also. However, whomever scheduled me for the package, booked me to be at the mani/pedi the same time as the massage. The person that did my massage had to stay past their scheduled time for the day. I got moved from the room we started the massage in because a couple was scheduled and needed that room I was started in. I also was charged more for the massage than what my receipt said. My receipt that I signed off on for the massage was $52 but I see today that $60 was charged to my account and I gave everyone cash tips. Overall, the staff actually giving services was great. However, having the schedule mishap and not knowing myself what I was scheduled for at what time throughout the day was confusing and I was charged more than my receipt on the massage. Luckily Kristi checked the time for my massage as she was doing my nails or I would have been out the massage. I would definitely return to Tranquility but if you get a package, make sure to ask for exact pricing per service and confirm the times set for each service before starting as there seems to not be a double check system for their schedules. Thank you to the staff for being accommodating and getting me all my services that I was scheduled for!
