First, getting in touch with this spa was very difficult. I left messages and they were never returned. That should have been my first clue that there were issues, but I finally booked a day at this spa for my mom’s birthday. When we arrived they did not have us on their schedule. We had driven over an hour to celebrate my moms special day. Truly disappointed and I would never recommend this spa because of its poor management. update (3/30): The Marketing and Special Events director reached out to me after my review and offered a complimentary day at the spa to try to make things right. She assured me that they will be correcting the scheduling/management problems. So I've upped my review one star for upper management listening and trying to correct what went wrong. I am really appreciative of the accommodation.

Horrible experience. Emailed through the website to try to book a birthday spa day for my husband and got zero response. Called the week later after not hearing anything and booked simultaneous services when we were told a couples massage wasn’t possible because everything was already booked. Arrived at the spa and after my husband’s massage had started 10 minutes later when I went out looking for whoever was supposed to take care of my services I was told it wasn’t for another 45 minutes. Ruining our schedule for spa then lunch. They really did not care one little bit about our experience.

I’m not one to leave reviews, ever! But I feel compelled to for this experience. First off, it wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t the best I’ve had. I went for a mani and pedi... I’ve had several in my life, mostly just your regular nail place, nothing special. I really wanted to splurge this time and go to a spa. I THOUGHT it would be more relaxing, just a better experience all the way around. Well, I was wrong. I splurged and did the “Luxury” mani and pedi. For that cost I would have thought you would get the BEST they would have to offer... nope, paid an extra $20 to have their top of the line nail polish. Total when I was done was $193! For almost a $200 mani and pedi I think anyone would expect the BEST! It was a beautiful spa, but that is about it. The pedi tubs were super uncomfortable and inconvenient in a lot of ways. Once I got out and looked at everything good... a couple of my nails are uneven, the nail polish is a beautiful color.. but there bubbly underneath, and have already started to chip. All in all, I think your paying for the “spa” and the place... but I’d say a regular nail place gives just as good, even a better mani and pedi then I got a the Ferrington Spa.

Having paid an extra $10 for a vinyl polish that brought the price to $50 nails chipped in 2 days. The polish was uneven and chunky . Yuck! Won’t be coming back for mani or pedi.

I received a 90 minute massage from Jennifer on 3/26/17. She was so professional, polite, and an excellent massage therapist. It was a truly blissful experience and I'm certain I will return soon!

I just had my first experience with this spa this past weekend. My boyfriend and I drove up to see his family and he got me a massage to this spa as a birthday and Valentine's Day present. He set me up with a 60 minute deep tissue massage. When I first got there the young woman at the front desk was very polite and friendly, she gave me a clipboard to fill out and showed me to the back room which was a waiting area. My appointment was at 2:30 someone didn't come get me until 2:45, which is not a big issue. However, unknowingly my boyfriend set me up a time that was the same as his mom and sister. Three people came to get us at the same time, however two of the women who worked there called the mom, and no one called me. Again, not a big issue I understand mistakes happen. Well, one of the women finally came back and got me and took me upstairs to the massage room, but didn't say anything about the mistake or the wait. It was very clean and relaxing it also had a full bathroom with amenities in it. I got undressed and the massage started. I would like to remind that I was set up for a deep tissue massage, which is more expensive than a basic Swedish massage. I have had a fair share of massages and know the difference. The massage I got was by no means a deep tissue massage, I had to ask her twice to use more pressure, then I got tired of asking and left it alone. I understand that not everyone is comfortable with deep tissue but say that from the start and don't overcharge someone for a massage that they did not receive. This woman barely used any pressure while giving the massage (even after asking her) and didn't even ask if there were any places I wanted her to focus on. Also, an extra side note, I did not get in the room until 2:45 and i was done with the massage AND dressed by 3:30. Again I was supposed to get a 60 minute massage... Lets just say I ended up leaving very disappointed and not relaxed. Hopefully, my experience was just a fluke and this doesn't happen very often.

I've been several times. They aren't busy, but booking an appointment takes as long as getting a root canal ... and is about as pleasant. They have fantastic hygiene (a must in my book), but they are WAY overpriced. $48 for a mani is nuts. I've gotten one in Paris for less than that. Angela is superb for a mani-pedi, but this place needs work. Oh wait, if they are trying to lose money, then they're a screaming success.

This place used to be great... I have to echo some of the other reviews though and say that it has become impossible to get an appointment here. I've tried several emails and calls but never got a response. Too bad, was a great a place but, there are many others in the area that are better managed.
