Yep that's right! Its as good as it gets! George Bunton is the best of the best. I have had my fair share of massages, facials and nail services and George is absolutely the best! Actually A-mazing is what I would say to describe his massages. From the heated back and shoulder sacs to the magical flow of hands massaging every stress out of your body it just doesn't get more precise. The new and improved Spa is gorgeous and inviting. Whether you come for one service or a day of pampering you won't be disappointed.

The nail technician was delightful and very experienced. I have no complaints about her service. However, the massage therapist did not listen to my request that she pay more attention to my sore neck. She spent most of the time massaging my feet and legs. Then she took out two loofas and scrubbed my back very hard. I was very surprised by the use of loofas during a massage. The pressure was so hard that it left red streaks on my back. She then applied some moist heat which made it sting. Overall, this was not a spa experience. It is okay if you want a single service. But, if you want several services and a day of relaxation, try somewhere else. No robe was offered, no wine offered for purchase nor was there a spa relaxation room. In fact, I was ceremoniously dumped in the waiting room after each of my services where I overheard the receptionist talk about her child and a coworker complain about working late. I would have preferred to relax out by the pool, but that was not offered. For such a beautiful mountain setting with a lodge of exemplary standards, I was very disappointed in my spa experience. I get a better massage from my home town massage therapist at a better Savings. I do not think it was worth the extra money I paid because the services were rendered by a luxury lodging. I hope that Esseeola reads this review and changes some of its’ services and the spa area.

I've been to many spas - Esseola is absolutely worth a day trip! I've never been this completely pampered in my life. I'm SO relaxed!
