This is a true retreat in the middle of town. From the moment you walk through the door you know you've entered a different place. The staff are incredibly friendly. From the vast menu I selected the Sacred Aromatherapy massage along with hot stone massage and an exfoliating foot treatment. Heaven! I floated as I walked out the door.

Just had the best couple's massage ever!! We felt so spoiled and pampered. We were given robes and slippers. Our massages were amazing, the best and sweetest massage therapists! We had a Groupon which included facials. At the end we were offered a beverage and we chose wine. Everything was perfect. Thank you for pampering us!

I will now drive 2 hrs to see Ms. Becki. Wow. She was so attentive and so creative in her methods. I have had a few massages and by far she was my favorite. The heat, the eye pads, the stones. OMG. This place is heavenly!

Total rip-off. Went for Valentine's Day weekend and was looking forward to a massage. Massage was terrible and overpriced, even if they had been honest about the price. Even worse, they said it was $100 with tip included for one 30-minute massages each for me and my girlfriend. When we went to check out, they told us $105 and said tip was not included. It cost us $120 and wasn't even worth half that. Stay away from this place.

A wonderful spa! Very attentive workers, wonderfully relaxing experience. Yes it is expensive but it was a really great! Totally worth spending the extra money. I have used a few different spas in the area but that was truly the best! I felt so pampered!

This is by far the nicest spa I've ever been to. My husband and I received a couples swedish massage and it was wonderful. The lighting, scents, and atmosphere were spot on for relaxation the moment you stepped in the door! There are cheaper massage elsewhere - people's basements, chiropractor office, etc- but if it is a special occasion and you want to be pampered with a ambiance, a fluffy robe and slippers, being able to shower afterward; heck even a heated toilet seat- then I can recommend this spa.

Highly recommend! We had our girls trip in Asheville and booked massages at Spa Theology. The whole experience was wonderful. The staff was so kind and accommodating, the spa was beautiful and clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing.

I called Spa Theology on Friday to see if they had any availability for two deep tissue messages on Sat. I first spoke to Heather who gave me the information and then I told her I would call right back. When I called back 10mins later, the lady I spoke with usually "did not book the appts." I was given an appt @ 1215, they took my info, credit card, and they reiterated the time and what treatment we were having. My friend is in town for the first time in 4 years and only for the weekend. When we showed up for the appt, and were told that we were not in the appt slots and that they were already booked. They could book 1 (one!) facial at a later time that evening. They did not offer any kind of coupon or inconvenience compensation. We were so disappointed! Almost all of the places were booked, so after spending most of the morning calling around, we were able to get a message elsewhere. They should really work on training and costumer service.

I chose a Sunday for my day of bliss. Emily was my massage therapist. Our session was a 90 minute therapeutic massage with a hot stone add-on. She was extremely professional and checked in with me regarding pressure and comfort. I felt warm, cozy and relaxed throughout this massage. She was a seasoned therapist with great technique and a sparkling demeanor. The second portion of my bliss was a facial and peel with Skyler. I had been to her a month prior for a hydroderm facial and was completely impressed with the post results. I asked her what she would do to maintain and she recommended alternating between hydroderm and facials. This session was amazing. I had a hard time staying awake. Her rhythmic massage techniques on my face along with her gentle personality rocked me into deep memories of being on a sail boat. These therapists are well trained and eager to please. The environment was clean and quite. I loved the herbal hot tea and the Spa Director Rose, along with her front desk staff, went above and beyond to make my experience one I will NEVER forget. I certainly recommend this spa and suggest you discuss in your appointment call exactly what you are looking for and you will not be disappointed! Oh and I am a spa owner, who travels the world looking for such experiences! Already checking my calendar to make my next appointment!

I am a pedicure junkie, and the experience they gave me today was the best of the best. I've never had a pedicure before that had me feel like I just had a full body massage, until today. I'm in love. If you appreciate quality, professionalism, and being pampered look no further. Kimberly did my pedicure & Tia was running the front. I LOVE this spa! It is hands down the best spa treatment I've ever had. They may not have the space for all the amenities that some spas do (such as steam rooms, pools, etc), but the treatments are by far the best. I found Spa Theology when I was booking for a group coming to Asheville for a girls weekend a few years ago. Took a chance on it based on their website alone. Everyone in our group - all 6 of us - loved our treatments, and we all still agree that the treatments are the best we've ever had. And this group loves some spa stuff, so we know what we're talking about. Over the past few years, I've had massages, facials, and peels at Spa Theology, and I am never disappointed. The treatments are wonderful and the technicians are excellent. I give Spa Theology my highest recommendation!

We went to a SpaTheology for a spa day the week of our wedding. There were six of us and we all got a massage and mani/pedi. I cannot begin to praise the entire spa for how wonderful our experience was! The mani/pedi was the best I've EVER had! They had fruit water, tea, mimosas, chocolates, and snacks out for us. They also have a beautiful and relaxing seating area where we all were able to sit and relax in between services. The staff was extremely professional, very welcoming, and friendly. I've been to many spas, and this was one of the best experiences I've ever had!

It’s amazing! Basically, it’s a tiny oasis of tranquility in downtown Asheville. Honestly, I’ve only had facials there. And I must admit, it’s their strong suit. Pedicures, nails and massages not so much. Or so I’ve heard from locals. If you want to walk out looking ‘Hollywood’ status see Debra for a Hydrofacial.

Absolute best massage I have gotten in so long! The sanctuary is nice and relaxing with drinks and snacks. I love the robe! I want one! So comfy. Staff was very friendly. I got a Groupon originally for myself for Christmas. I loved it so much I just got another package for my birthday! Relax with a nice mimosa and shop around for some really great skincare products and all natural options! The price is what you should expect from a nice spa. They have showers for when you are done if you like. Oh and I almost forgot, who knew a heated toilet seat was so nice!? Love this place, will definitely be back!

This place is great! Very clean, friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, and an overall wonderful experience. I had the BEST massage here I have ever had. The masseuse was top notch and very professional. No hidden pricing either. Everything was explained upfront and there wasn't any pressure to purchase additional services or products. I would highly recommend this spa!!

Made appointment month in advance. Was called week before facial and was told that they could not accommodate me on the day scheduled. This is the second time I have tried to make an appointment with Spa Theology and was told my appointment needed to be rescheduled. Forget about it.

My husband and I were looking for a good place to get massages on our vacation to Asheville. We get massages often and are really picky about the places we go. Spa Theology was recommended to us by multiple people and the services truly exceeded our expectations! The spa was quiet, clean and very peaceful. The massages were top-notch and very well priced. Everyone that works there is extremely sweet and focused on you having the best experience possible. Also, the retail shop is incredible! Overall, if you are going to Asheville and are looking to get pampered, Spa Theology is the spot.
