I cannot express how much love I have for Head to Toe. I have never felt like I’ve gotten my money’s worth in a “Drive Thru” salon like a do here! They are clean, use new files, sanitize reusable tools and their tubs! Prizes are reasonable not the cheapest but well worth every penny. You get the spa feeling not the drive thru! The work April does is phenomenal. She is hands down the best nail technician I have ever had the pleasure of sitting with. She also educated me in the do’s and don’t of nail and foot care. She truly loves what she does and it shows in her work and the time time she spends with you! Sitting in Christina’s chair was also one of the best experiences I’ve had while getting my hair done. Finding that one person who listens and does what you ask and educates you in how or why she is doing what she does, is priceless! Do I recommend ... absolutely 100 % over and over again!

Well I went in today for a facial by meagan. (Might have spelled that wrong) She was great. Like absolutely wonderful. The front desk is obviously not the ones I’m happy with. My service was 77. My toner I bought was 15. Ok so that adds up to 92 so u add about 2 dollars for tax that’s 94. Ok tell me why my card was charged 133 and change. I called and they only want to credit my account for 19 dollars. Can someone not add or something?

I’ve gone to Head to Toe for a few services so far. I’ve seen Whitney Taylor for eyelash extensions and I’m excited to say how delightful it was not to worry about mascara for a little over a month. They looked beautiful and I received lots of compliments on them. I’ve also gotten my nails done by April Lewis and she is GREAT. Very flexible with her hours to accommodate my busy schedule which I was EXTREMELY grateful for. My dipped nails lasted about 3 weeks and looked fabulous.

Went to see George for a consultation and he ended up squeezing me in before his first appointment. Was VERY impressed. Very nice guy. Gave me a curly perm, which I am obsessed with. Had talked to other hair stylists and was told that my hair would not hold a perm due to old highlighting (over 6 months old) but George said he had done a multitude of perms in the past (he’s been doing hair for over 20 years) and knew that my hair would be fine as long as the blonde parts were treated with a protein formula as a primer. TURNED OUT GREAT! I am in love and obsessed and have gotten so many great compliments. Will be seeing George again! If you’re questioning whether or not to join the bandwagon and get the new, modern curly perm... go see George and I promise you will love your curls!

Made an appt for Brazilian Blowout. I have medium curly and wavy hair of medium to fine texture and quite long. Trouble was, next morning all the curl was back on two thirds of my hair. After much calling and messaging I discovered from the BB company the stylist was NEVER CERTIFIED to do this and her instructions were wrong and she didn’t follow their recommended procedures. This I learned from spending two days visiting other salons and also speaking with Brazilian Blowout company. When I went there two days later I was only offered a refund. I’m not even certain she even used the BB products as I only saw her handle white bottles but the sleek tall brown bottles. They never even used the Finishing spray and stated it was optional. Caroline the manager promised the Owner would call in half an hour. A week later I’ve yet to hear from anyone. Tsk tsk. Just be careful to do your own homework on an expensive procedure and watch closely. A shame as I e always trusted this stylist and this seemed like a nice friendly space. It’s a shame they allow stylista to perform careful procedures with our precious hair without monitoring the work or the results!!! Biggest shame is an owner and manager who don’t care ugh to follow up after a serious complaint like this. The folks like Rafael, at Brazilian Blowout are amazing though!!! UPDATE: I WAS CONTACTED BY THE OWNER PERSONALLY JUST SHORTLY AFTER THIS REVIEW WAS POSTED. SHE WAS MOST KIND AND APOLOGETIC ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE. I am glad I had done my research and, more importantly, the owner was super sympathetic and offered to do my treatment the correct way - she even offered if I felt uncomfortable coming back, she would even pay for the BB treatment at another salon. To me, it was gratifying that someone heard me and cared enough to REACH OUT AND CORRECT THE PROBLEM. I have changed my review to five her Salon an extra star for this experience. I will entrust my long curly wavy hair to Head to Toe Salon as soon as I return home in October. I look forward to a five-star experience to redo my new review of Head to Toe.

I love Head to Toe Day Spa. I came here for a massage on a visit to Wilmington a few years ago with my best friend. I just happened to get Lawrence that day for my massage....Thank Gawd!!!!! Lawrence is the best!!! I told him I felt like I was cheating on my massage therapist at home lol. Fast forward later when I relocated to Wilmington and one of the first things I did was call to see if Lawrence was still here and taking appointments. He was! The rest is history. I schedule my appointments faithfully as my “me time” is so important to me. I highly recommend Lawrence to anyone who is looking for a massage therapist who is professional and pays attention to his client needs. The salon is clean and the front desk staff are friendly and professional.

I have a great deal of respect for an establishment willing to reach out to dissatisfied customers and offer compensation. For that reason, I am updating my rating from 1 to 3 stars. Please see the original 1-star review below. Visited Head To Toe with a friend to scope out local salons for my wedding. We requested the same basic pedicure service. -Massage consisted of rubbing lotion on my feet. -Nails were not properly prepared. -Nail Polish was applied poorly with paint applied over my cuticles. -Friend was offered a drink, but I was not. When I requested water, I received a glass with lip smudges around the rim, which was quickly replaced with a Styrofoam cup while the other nail technician made snide remarks. -My friend was charged $54 while I was mysteriously up charged to $58 with no explanation. -Grossly overpriced for a poorly-done, basic pedicure. Huge waste of money. Embarrassing that Lumina Station hosts such an establishment.

Denise does my hair styling and she is magical with color. We call her the Hair Fairy. You know your stylist is something special when you regularly get complimented by strangers in public and stopped to ask who does your hair. I love that she keeps up with the latest products and techniques and has so much knowledge to share about issues like texture and style. She is responsive, kind, and this therapist’s therapist. When my mother passed, I had decided it was too painful to see her in her casket. Unbeknownst to me, the funeral home called Denise to make her up. They didn’t know she knew my Mom. She then called me and told me I should go see her and that she had done her makeup. My mother looked like an angel—she looked beautiful and just exactly how she would have wanted to look. I told her about a friend of mine who’s 5 year-old granddaughter was in a terrible accident and sustained a head injury. Denise made up a bag of supplies and instructions to the family to help detangle and style the child’s beautiful long hair. If you can’t tell, Denise is an exceptional person and a gifted stylist. My friends whom I’ve referred always come back so happy. She never disappoints.

I visited this salon the week of 12/8/14. I was clearly quoted $20 for a mens haircut over the phone. I was not impressed by the haircut or service. At time of checkout, lady charged my card for $29.00. I told her that was not what I was quoted. She stated there was nothing she could do. She then said that she could charge me $20.00 and that I would need to leave $9.00 as her tip. This place clearly needs a reality check! I will not be returning.

Before going to Head to Toe, I had peeling chipping nails, and I was totally against SNS Dip based on previous experience's at other nail salons in Wilmington. The experiences I have had at Head to Toe have totally changed my perspective. April at Head to Toe has made me so happy. April has shown me that it is truly all out the application, using the right techniques, and essentially who does your nails, and their knowledge in the field. The service I have had a Head to Toe is unlike any other in Wilmington. I now have healthy beautiful nails again. I will not go to anywhere else to get my nails done. April at Head to Toe is the only one I trust with my nail health. My Dip will last 3 weeks and more if I let it. My nails are constantly healthy, no more chipping and peeling. I'm not big on going to salons because i'm pretty lazy about having to maintain my hair in general but after it being damaged, difficult to grow, and unmanageable for too long, I knew I had to do something about it especially since I worked for a company based on appearance. She helped me pick a gorgeous new hair color and cut my hair into a style that would compliment my hair growth. Unfortunately, I had to keep pushing back my second appointment because I keep to a hectic schedule and a family tragedy occurred that caused me to miss my appointment entirely. She was super understanding when I finally did return to touch up my glaring roots a few months later. My hair feels super healthy and it's growing out beautifully! She definitely gained a client as long as I live in Wilmington or nearby.

Lawrence Moorman is one of the best massage therapist I have ever been too. I go regularly every 8 weeks, you need to make appts. in advance because he gets booked up fast, for good reason. I also go to Head to Toe Day Spa for facials. Meagan Bainer is also one of the best esthetician I have seen. I am in my mid 50's and taking care of myself and staying healthy is very important. These two wonderful people help me achieve that. They seem to know what's best for their client and not just follow some routine procedure. Pricing at Head to Toe Day Spa is very reasonable. I have gone to other places in the past but nothing has compared to Lawrence and Meagan. Be thorough upfront with what your routines are and they will make you feel great and give you great advice for achieving your goals. They are not pushy on trying to sell you services or products that you don't need.

$25.00 to paint my toenails plus tip! That was my express pedicure!! No explanation of what I was getting!! Truly disappointed... don't waste your money. NEVER AGAIN. For real all they did was buff and cut my nails and paint no pedicure for $30 with tax and tip.

I've been using the infrared sauna for the past month. Love it! My arthritis doesn't bother me these days and I feel detoxicated! The crew at Head to Toe has been very pleasant and accommodating each time I go. They make sure there's a towel and robe waiting for me and the sauna is warmed up to just the temp I like. Google the benefits of sitting in an infrared sauna - it's different than a regular sauna - and try it out at Head to Toe. You won't be disappointed!

Ricky Bell made my 9 year old Elizabeth feel so special the day he tamed her beautiful curly hair. Elizabeth went from frizzy unmanageable hair to gorgeous curls!! Ricky is knowledgeable and experienced in his field and Elizabeth was proud and confident when she left his chair. Grateful to have found him and he is amazing with the curly locks! Found Ricky Bell on the devacurl website as the highest level deva style specialist in the Wilmington area. I got the devacut and style. I left feeling fantastic and gain a lot of knowledge on how to care for my hair and everything I had been doing wrong. He is extremely knowledgeable and done a fantastic job on my hair.
