If you wish to get ripped off, then this is the place to go. The staff at this spa are performing Coolsculpting on areas of the body which are considered "off label". This means unapproved by regulatory authorities. Since Coolsculpting on the upper arms is not approved by the FDA, why is Blue Water Spa performing it? The FDA has not put their stamp on a device for the upper arms, therefore no one should be lying to the public about it. Zeltiq Aesthetics, Inc., initially applied for permission with the FDA to market Coolsculpting for the abdomen, flanks and thighs. Never was it intended for the upper arms.

I had a crisis that I had to bring my child with me. He is old enough to sir and behave. I was only getting a 30 min facial. I was made aware that is policy. I feel like in this case I should of been allowed to have my service I don't like how it was handled. I will never come back.

I have received botox and microneedling at Blue Water Spa. For both services I was impressed with the thoroughness of the consultation and kindness of the provider. They are not pushy, nor do they do more to your skin than it needs. They are also very kind in the way they describe your skin - never pointing out wrinkles, scarring or imperfections. As someone who is sensitive about their skin issues -- I particularly value this trait. Also the spa itself is clean and the staff is welcoming. Is this the most convenient or even the most affordable med spa? - no but I wouldn't trust my skin with anyone else.

I was able to get in to see Melissa for lip augmentation and she is very friendly and very professional. She numbed my lips and after I was swollen but it only took like 4 days until the swelling went down and I LOVE my lips!!!!!!!!! I was afraid of looking crazy but she made me feel comfortable. She is very normal and down to earth and kind and I didn't feel like she was pointing out a million things, she only suggested what was necessary. I'm not in the business so I need to look to someone to give HONEST opinions about what I need and I felt she did that. I will see her in 2 weeks for Botox and will update after that.

Had a wonderful visit and Blue Water spa. The place is clean, relaxing and aesthetically beautiful. I saw Mari an injector there (not sure on spelling but pronounced Maury) she is definitely skilled and has been doing this for years. I got Voluma placed in cheek/mid face area. Done with Cannula and didn't have bruising whatsoever. Definitely happy so far with my results. Would recommend Mari for sure!

This has become my spa of choice lately. The staff is VERY professional and this spa offers services that aren't easy to find in the Raleigh/Durham area. Having visited A LOT of spas, I appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms and the service by the employees - they know what they are doing and can answer all of my questions. The people doing the services are very knowledgeable in what they are doing and can explain to me what to do post treatment and how often to come back. I never feel like I'm being "sold" services just for the sake of it, I feel that they honestly care about giving the best service possible

I visited Bluewater Spa for a consult on laser skin tightening. I met with Sam and she was so knowledgeable about all procedures. Gave me a great education on levels and types of lasers and why they offer some and not others. Bluewater Spa places safety first and does only those procedures that are appropriate to the patient. They are upfront on costs, actual procedure and expectations. They require clearance from my dermatologist for some and suggested that should be my first stop. First class business.

I went to Blue Water Spa for a microdermabraision. My experience was fantastic! When I walked through the door the whole front reception area smelled amazing and everything was very clean. I filled out about 5 minutes of paperwork and was called in for my appointment immediately! Lisa handled my procedure and she did an amazing job. The minute I walked into the Blue Water Spa and was greeted by Jennifer at the front desk, I knew this was the right place to have my aesthetic procedure done. My nurse, Melissa, was absolutely wonderful! When I told her that I was 60 years old, she laughed it off and said "you're beautiful!" (How kind!) She was kind, compassionate, and walked me through every detail of the procedure. Now, one day later and looking in the mirror...I can say "Wow, I love my lips!" (they are age appropriate!!). The Blue Water Spa visit was an incredible experience with a remarkable staff and (I must say) great results!! Thank you!

I am from San Diego and I was in Raleigh visiting family and had heard amazing things about Blue Water. I went in and seriously could not be more impressed with my experience. From the minute you walk in, the atmosphere itself is enough to put you in a state of relaxation. I had an Epicuran Facial with Kristen first and she did an amazing job! It was so relaxing and the mask was such an awesome feeling. My skin felt absolutely incredible by the time she was done. Kristen was such a sweet person and made the whole experience very much what I needed. After that I met with Mari who did some filler in my lips and liquid rhinoplasty in my nose. Again, I can’t say enough nice things! Mari was so good at making sure I was comfortable and knew exactly what she was doing with every step. I have no top lip and have always hated that. By the time I was done, I was in love with my lips!! They looked amazing!!!! The bump on my nose was also drastically reduced with the rhinoplasty. I could go on and on about what an amazing experience I had there. If you are questioning whether or not this is the place to handle your needs, go! They will take amazing care of you and you will be so happy you did. Thank you Blue Water and staff!

first of all, don't make the mistake I made by going to the spa thinking that they will disclose things that are hazardous to your health before they harm you. My liver which was in perfect health is now struggling from damage caused to me by there's CoolSculpting device. not only that but make sure you get everything that you sign in physical copy when you sign it because later when you need it for your lawsuit they will withhold that information

Blue water spa is the place that provides professional services in clean environment with knowledgeable and friendly staff. I love that I have never felt like I was "pitched" a sale. They provide very unbiased input to products and services. I went for a coolsculpting consult and I was given very honest feedback with no pressure. They weren't trying to "sell" me on coolsculpting, just made sure that I was a candidate and had all the information to make the best decision for me. After considering all the positives and negatives (and visiting other places that seemed too pushy) I had my abdomen and love handles treated with Blue Water Spa. The treatment had minimal discomfort and I was able to go back to my workouts the next day.

I have enjoyed several services from Blue Water Spa including facials, massages, and laser hair removal. I have always enjoyed my appointments and felt the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.Their facility is beautiful and clean. I very much liked that for my facial and massage appointments the staff understood my visit there was for relaxation and quiet. They made every effort to ensure I was comfortable and in a serene environment. LeeAnn was a great help during my laser hair removal appointment. She explained everything was doing and understood my anxieties about the process. Laser hair removal is great! I wish I had done this sooner! I didn't experience any discomfort during the underarm treatment. I have done one appointment so far and I can already go an entire week without shaving. Bikini area and legs do come with some mild discomfort in more tender ares but overall it's a very easy procedure.

I chose blue water because it has photos of after and before for customers although I asked the center where I do my lasir is cost 370 for same size and type of serenge. l had under eye filler for 550 it looks like I didn't do anything. I wasted my money whenwi complained the nurse said Ican't add more come after 9 months and we will add more for same price WHAT WHAT no thanks I planned to talk to manager to argue and have my money back or send me to another nurse but I CANT TRUST them anymore to touch my face.

Beautiful place. Most relaxing hour I’ve had in a long time. Shout out to Nicole who was very sweet, and explained each product well as well as made me feel super comfortable. Their facial massage was incredible. The products they used on my face felt great and I took home four. I also had a plethora of new products used on me that I’d never seen before, like an oxygen tank healer mixed with lavender and an acne zapper (using some sort of ultra violet light to do it- I don’t know, you will have to go.) Anyways, my face feels freakin reborn. Blue Water Spa when are you coming to California?!?!

I was a skeptic at first, but now I’m completely in love! The resolve laser is incredible and by far the best results I’ve ever received from a laser product. It has reduced a good amount acne scaring and improved my skin’s texture overall. I highly recommend trying it if you want glowing, tighter and youthful looking skin. They also do a phenomenal job with Botox. Shauna is a true artist and really listens to what you want. They use a conservative approach and provide the best results possible. I refuse to go anywhere else after having Botox done here. The prices are a little higher than average, but the quality and precision can’t be beat. I highly recommend Michael Law, MD & Blue Water spa for all of your cosmetic needs.

The administrative staff is friendly and accommodating. Other support staff I've encountered have been knowledgeable and happy to discuss any questions I have. The atmosphere is professional, beautiful and relaxing plus no one tries to "sell" you on unnecessary products or procedures. It's obvious everyone there loves what they do and actually care about their clients individual needs. These guys are amazing!! I have been going there for over 4 years for laser tightening (full face). Today I added the décolleté area... omg results!!! I go back in 4 weeks for a Vbeam session (first time) and I can’t wait!! Sam is awesome and so personable. People constantly tell me I look as if I am in my early to mid thirties yet I am 47! They are never pushy and it doesn’t matter if it’s been a year since I have seen them... they always treat me as if it were yesterday. I love the results, love the staff, and the pricing is very on point! This girl loves all this bang for not much buck!!

I made the mistake of having Coolsculpting performed on my upper arms prior to conducting research into this medical practice. The procedure had no affect on my arms, whatsoever. This is due to the following: 1. There is no FDA-approved Coolsculpting device to be used on the upper arms. Dr. Law and his staff deliberately withhold this information from clients and use a device which does not fit properly on the upper arms. 2. Dr. Law is well-aware that Coolsculpting on the upper arms is 100 percent ineffective and calls it an "off label" procedure. Off label means that it is not approved by the government. DO NOT go to Blue Water Spa for Coolsculpting on the upper arms because it is a fraudulent procedure and this spa will rob you blind, then refuse to issue a refund.

Most comprehensive appointment I've ever had for botox. Melissa explained each and every move thoroughly, told me what the final result would be and not to hesitate to let her know if I needed any follow up. I highly recommend her and already have to several friends. It has been 5 days since my appointment and the results are the best I've ever had. I can now see how lax the previous dermatologist I used to go to really was. Overall it was the most pleasant experience I've had at a spa period. Their programs to contribute to the community are an added bonus.

I booked an appointment as a new client and daringly tried to make my way to their office in commute traffic (new to RTP and still feeling my way around!). I made a wrong turn which put me 10 minutes past my arrival time, and they wouldn't see me. Needless to say when offering beauty services there is generally a reasonable cushion for first-time offenders! As a single mama with full-time work I won't be rebooking or making myself a client of someone with such unsymapthetic policies. I wasted 1.5 hours of my night driving & hired a babysitter (oh, because well behaved kids aren't allowed!) all for nothing. Tried allowing myself the minute luxury of having embarassing hair removed only to have it turn into an incredibly stressful and wasteful evening. Bummer, the space looks great otherwise.

As we age, hair tends to pop up where it absolutely should not be growing (men's ears, ladies chin, ladies moustache- um #no!) My husband and I both tried in vain with previous laser hair removal providers to get rid of said embarrassing hair with little results, high level of pain and irritation, and lots of money wasted. Enter Blue Water Spa- this spa changed me and my husband's viewpoint on the laser hair removal process. We did a lot of research before selecting Blue Water Spa to be our laser hair removal destination- and they have delivered! We can attest that Blue Water Spa has top notch customer service: from the moment we entered for our first appointment, the front desk staff was friendly, greeting us , reviewing paperwork we needed to complete, and giving us an informal tour of the office. Their office is quite lovely and the waiting area is very peaceful. The intake nurse was patient- answering every question my husband and I had in detail. Not once did we feel rushed during this intake, as we were the nurse's number one priority. After the intake - we were seen by Sam, our laser technician, aka hair removal wizard, who was calming, witty, and an EXPERT at laser hair removal that was fast, and for me and my husband, MUCH less painful than past experiences. From the pricing to what to expect while she was working on us--Sam explained every part of the process in detail and more importantly, she explained proper aftercare and what to look for in case of a reaction. She also said it was important to call her if we had even a hint of a reaction, which I really appreciated. The results after just one treatment were mind-boggling for us. I understand everyone's experience with laser hair removal success is different- but my husband has some of the thickest neck hair on the planet and it was reduced in half after ONE treatment! We are now seeing Sam every six weeks for our laser hair treatments journey and are still experiencing the same high level of wonderful customer service and care as we did at the first appointment. Thank you to the staff of Blue Water Spa and most importantly- ask for Sam when you book your laser hair removal appointment.

The office is clean, the staff is excellent and the equipment is the best but the best part about BWS is Adrian. Adrian does a great job. She's considerate, efficient and a lot of fun. She's the best!!! If you don't already have a favorite, I'd recommend BWS and especially Adrian to anybody.

I did a search for a place to have laser hair removal done. After reading the reviews and checking out Dr. Law's website, I knew this was the place for me. Their staff is so friendly, scheduling is flexible and I LOVE how they give back to the community. The fact that customers get a discount for donating is obviously a bonus but that's not why I do it. Just reading about all of the good work Dr. Law and his staff have done for others in the community MAKES me want to do it. MaryBeth is what I call my "laser girl." She was so nice, and since it was my first time ever having the procedure done, she made sure I was prepared. She also explained everything she was doing as she did it. Was not satisfied with my experience -- filler placed very low in my face which created crevices on each cheek when I smile. Really looks bad, so I contacted the manager. She did not return my call promptly, so I emailed the owner and sent photos of the work. The owner called and made excuses and tried to persuade me that the work was good, despite the fact that she acknowledged seeing the crevices. Her only solution was to offer to sell me more filler. Just two years ago I had two units (same as BWS) and obtained a wonderful result. When I pointed this out to the owner, she said obviously I had aged so much in two years it was no longer possible to get a good result. The problem was not the quantity, it was the PLACEMENT. Why would I trust them now when they did a poor job to begin with? I believe they have a strategy of deliberately putting all the filler in a very small area so you'll be forced to run back and get a "correction" and they make more money. I will not return and cannot recommend this spa. I wish Dr. Law would consider this type of feedback, as it reflects poorly on him. I agree with another reviewer who said that despite a very attractive front office, this place is a factory and they could not care less about customer satisfaction.

Not a place you would want to go to for more than Botox. I had a laser facial here last summer that burned off the outer half of my left eyebrow. Excusing what I thought probably to be a rare and unrelated instance of negligence, I recently paid $200 for an appointment to see Dr. Law about a minor surgery. At that appointment, nothing happened other than being told I needed to schedule a $1000 "pre-op" appointment to learn what medical tests I would be required to get on my own before the surgery. At this "pre-op" appointment, I was finally rushed through that information by a rude coordinator, along with several waivers of medical liability. When I finally had the opportunity to ask Dr. Law further questions about the surgery itself and indicated I would like a little more time and information before moving forward, I was hurried out of the office. As I was leaving, I asked the coordinator if I could see the Pre-op and Post-op instructions in further considering the surgery. She said they were going to refund my appointment money, so I wasn't a patient. Amazingly, she told me that they "only give out Dr. Law's Pre-op and Post-op instructions to patients" (i.e. people that have paid $1200 toward a surgery without yet knowing what obligations, healing time, further appointments and costs will be required of them). I was truly baffled; why are Dr. Law's Pre-op and Post-op instructions top secret? The staff's goals and training are clearly primarily aimed toward churning clients through as quickly as possible while avoiding lawsuits. At least one of their reviews here is by one of their own staff members, obviously with intent to boost the overall business rating. That's just not on the up-and-up.

It was a wonderful experience for several reasons. The facility itself is very inviting and appealing to the eye and senses. It is always clean and smells soothing. I looked forward to my visits so I could both sample the various fruits & herbs they placed in the water & use the ideas at home...love the larger cups too!! The staff is very professional, friendly and attentive. During my 2-hour session, Lisa was very attentive to my needs to ensure I was comfortable and had what I needed. LeeAnn was just as attentive during both my initial consult and my post. Both ladies took the time to explain everything and answered my questions. The same can be said for the ladies & gentleman who worked on the other side where I used the therapy machine...very friendly and very helpful as well!! Fabulous Microblading at Blue Water Spa! My eyebrows used to be full and dark but as I've aged I noticed the hair was getting lighter and I developed bare spots. I decided to schedule a consult and treatment with Laura at Blue Water Spa to see what could be done. Laura assessed my eyebrows and told me that microblading could help. I was apprehensive because I wanted natural looking brows. Laura explained exactly what she would do and what I could expect. Laura also applied numbing cream so the treatment would be more comfortable. The appointment lasted about 2 hours but I was amazed with the results. My brows were darker and thicker looking. I loved the natural appearance and the fact that I no longer needed to apply makeup to fill in the bare spots. Laura also told me that the results can last up to 18 months! I would highly recommend microblading at Blue Water Spa for anyone who wants to enhance their eyebrows.

Mari is an absolute artist when it comes to her lip filler placement. I have had lip filler before with other providers outside of Blue Water Spa and now I will never go to anyone else. You can tell she loves her work and it shows in her technique. She spent significant time carefully looking at my lips and placing the filler to make them perfectly symmetrical. Particularly when you have thinner lips like mine, I was of course concerned about getting the “duck lip” look as this would be my second 1 mL syringe. However my fears were immediately abated and they look fantastic- very plump yet completely natural! Thank you, Mari! You’re truly an exceptionally skilled provider! I would recommend her to ANYONE!

This was a terrible customer service experience from the start. The lady wasn't very friendly when answering the phone. They weren't particularly willing to work with my schedule or the fact that I live about 2 hours away. The lady seemed annoyed by my questions. She talked over me. She didn't let me finish explaining my concerns before she would butt in with a response that was completely irrelevant to my question. Finally, she didn't bother to hide her condescending and catty tone after implying that I was too stupid to understand her. I just cancelled my consultation. If this place is like this before the consultation, I have no faith that I would receive quality care and competent treatment afterwards.

I have never been a patient here, but I interviewed for a job about three months ago. The moment I walked in the door, the staff was looking down their nose at me. They asked me to fill out a long application and then I interviewed with the office manager. She was not friendly at all. She looked me up and down like I was garbage. She asked me two questions and that was it. It was like she couldn't get me out the door fast enough. I never heard from them again. Repeated phone calls and e-mails went unanswered. How polite. I guess it is just too much to expect some sort of communication. Really makes me wonder how they treat their patients.

Dr. Michael Law is a fine Doctor and treated my Mother’s sun damage skin several years ago. That was my first introduction and I have been going there for skin care to help me age gracefully. I REALLY wanted to like this place. The person who scheduled my appointment on the phone made me excited about my visit. Everyone was very friendly, but I dont feel my consultation was really tailored to my actual skin needs. I went for a chemical peel. This was not my first peel so I am pretty hip to the process. I have very bad acne and acne marks... really bad. I received a really weak peel. I spent 200 dollars and didnt see a single result. Every place I've gone to in the past recognized my condition and gave me a peel that was fitting. I didnt experience any peeling at all. I'm so disappointed.
