I've been seeing Jan at Pink Sands for years! At the old location, and at the new one! Jan and her staff are meticulous and ask the right questions to make sure you walk out feeling amazing and get what you're looking for. The new space is super convenient in midtown. So happy I found her!

I keep getting an alert asking me for a review, so in an effort to clear the prompt from my phone once and for all, here we go! FULL DISCLOSURE: I work here. That being said, I knew almost nothing about the beauty industry when I took this job. All I knew was a customer's perspective. Now that I've worked here, I see how much effort goes into maintaining a salon or spa and I can compare it to other places I visit for services. The owner here genuinely cares about customers AND employees, which I can see from my own experience on the payroll and from talking to people who work at other spas. I'm fortunate to be able to pick up shifts here. Pink Sands is great and I know for a fact that you won't look orange because I've seen the effort that goes into selecting the right tanning solution and training the airbrushers.

Absolutely not accommodating to new customers. The receptionist rudely asked me where I heard about them and I explained I found a groupon. She then proceeded to tell me that she they are “premier” and have a lot of regulars and wouldn’t accommodate the times that would work for me and wasn’t interested in making anything work. I am sure they do great work and I would have been back time and time again. I was refunded my Groupon and they lost someone that would have been a “regular.”

I cannot recommend this place enough! I am a long-time customer and do not trust anyone else with my tan. As for any negative reviews about scheduling, it is true it can be difficult sometimes to get an appointment around holidays! However, as long as I book a week in advance I've never had any issues. The owner is kind, passionate and knowledgeable. The staff are all skilled and accommodating to everyone's personal wants and needs. I have never left there not loving the results.

BEST AIRBRUSH EVER!! I went last night to Pink Sands & all I can say is WOW!!! These girls do an EXCELLENT JOB!! I have never had such a natural looking airbrush before. I must say I was pretty nervous since I have only had this a few times before at other places in the city & was not impressed at all. I am very fare (Irish descent) & I look like I just stepped of a cruise ship. My Tech Autumn has been doing this for over 8 years and she is the bomb!!! She walked me thru every step of the process and was very bubbly & polite. There solution is the best & you don't stink like a tan afterwards. I will be coming back here every few weeks to maintain this awesome tan!

This is my first time writing a review, which means I actually stand behind this group. If you need an beautiful airbrush tan, look no further! This is the only place you need to know about! Sam is absolutely amazing! She makes you feel super comfortable. She also knows what level of tan looks good on your skin tone and I have never looked orange or smelled weird. It dries quickly and lasts for about a week or more. I cannot say enough good things about Pink Sands and Sam.

I've had airbrush spray tans in the past which left me orange the next day. Nervous, I jumped in and Tamara went to town. Pure perfection, all natural. I'll be going every 10 days. It is the top place in the city. Highly recommend & we all deserve to look healthy.
