I always forget how much I like this place. It's not a shi-shi place and yes there could be some changes I.e. the staff being a little more sensitive to customers and keep the tone down and be a little more professional in their presence, but the people that work there are good at their job. It's like your favorite neighborhood hangout, you don't expect much but you walk out of there feeling like a million! Highly recommend. Alex gives a great massage!

I saw Danny today 6/10/2019. This is my 2nd time with him and even better this time around. He has very strong hands and gives an amazing massage. I am a dancer and need someone with good tension. I highly recommend him and very nice as well.

Walk in pedicure. Especially the callous removal left my feet “half” done, with some spots nearly bleeding and no callus removed in other places. Overall not satisfied and I won’t be back.

Worst massage! 90 minute massage and they didn't even massage my shoulders or chest. The majority of the massage was done with plastic gloves (felt like sandwich bags) and the guy was peering down on me as I wrote the tip. Stay away

I gave them 2 tries both times. First it was a guy then a female both times I left out with my hands looking like I did nothing to my nails. I ask the girl and the guy to make the corrections, neither did so. Its as if they have a time limit and won't give you your money's worth. Bad on the cuticles and terrible buff job!!! though I've been here more than twice the last two times I got a real bad manicure for $20 which isn't much, but my money is wasted!!!

I had a body scrub + massage with Roman today. The spa is nice enough. Timothy was very helpful and nice on the phone taking my reservation. He was also pleasant when I arrived. Roman was also waiting to greet me at the reception desk and after getting a cup of water for me, took me right downstairs to the VIP room, whatever that means haha. The treatment starts with a 15 minute soak in a jetted bath. I don’t know if it’s policy, if Roman was just uncomfortable, or if he didn’t want to make me uncomfortable, but I found it a little odd that he left me alone before I even got my jacket off. I could have very easily slipped getting into the bath, though i do feel weird when they help me in and out of the bath at other spas. But also, the water was only slightly warmer than room temperature and I didn’t know how to or if I could add hot water. Then the jets were starting to sting after a few minutes, but I had no idea how to turn them off (I looked around for buttons or a control panel). Roman returned after 15 minutes, as promised. The body scrub was pleasant, but not really exfoliating. And if you’re curious, he covered my sensitive areas with a towel. But I transitioned from bath to scrub to shower to massage in all my glory. After a quick rinse in the shower, Roman asked if I had any injuries, any trouble spots, and what kind of massage I would like. He is very skilled and thorough (that’s not code for anything). I would definitely recommend him.

Overall, a very nice spa. The outside looks a bit tacky, but it's much bigger and nicer than I realized inside. Very clean, very professional. My massage ultimately was good, but started off badly. I am half to blame, since both on the phone and in person I stated that I liked deep pressure. My masseur Adrian began with sudden intense PRESSURE it was shocking and very painful. Laying on my front he pressed near my spine with SO much force I thought my rib cracked! We stopped, and I told him it hurt, that it was much too much. After that, he did check in with me regularly to see it the pressure was OK. I was surprised he did not "ease into the work" on my body like most massages I have had elsewhere. The rest of the 60 minute session was good. Adrian is very nice, VERY strong and focused. I would go back to him, but would have a more detailed discussion first. I actually went to my doctor the next day to have my ribs checked, since it still hurt. No crack, but very sore. The room was nice, calm and clean. Having a shower available in the room was a nice unexpected touch. Again, overall, very good, but be sure to discuss in advance what you want with the person assigned to you.

Excellent service, It's clean here. They are all nice friendly. It is hard to imagine they are such a peaceful place in the noisy NYC. Their service is very professional and the environment here is so relaxing. I did foot massage here, they helped me recover after my muscle injury. I'll come back again and recommend to all my friends. But they're busy, and if you can't make an appointment by phone, try luck walk in before the Last Call.

Had a great experience at New Paradise. My masseur was very professional and knowledge about sports massages. Banging myself pretty badly over the weekend playing sports. He was able to relieve the pain. The Spa is very clean and quiet while I was there. It was a much needed visit during the weekday. Will be back.

Easy and convenient for waxes, sugaring, and massages. Usually can get same day appts if needed. Go for Sugaring over waxing, easier for sensitive skin This isn't where you go for a full spa day, but just to get a service done.

Friendly staff until you try having a conversation with them cu they nearly speak English. I received a package as a gift and the facial was good but the manicure was a disaster, cut my nails so short they hurt, also wanted to charge me extra afterwards even when they knew what I ordered. The massage was not terrible but apparently I needed my feet to be well massages and that's only upon special request! So I only got a half of a massage and I had to walk out with my sore legs and feet!

Overall a very, VERY good experience. I had a waxing and it was done professionally and efficiently. The only reason I knocked a star off is that after my waxing I was left feeling tacky and a bit sticky. I will definitely be going back, but that was a detractor.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and super job on the pedicures. Ive been here a few times and never had a bad experience as far as for a service. Depending on your budget prices can be a bit reasonable but again that depends on your budget. You are offered water or wine or crumpets complimentary and the pedicure chairs actually massages you during your pedi. Only thing is the nice asian lady at the front desk will chase you down to be sure you tipped. I tip in cash to the individual that have taken care of me and I be sure to mention that to her while im leaving. All in all i love the atmosphere and will continue to go here

A very good find! Professional and courteous staff. Strong, focussed and attentive hands. More than a masseur - rather a massage therapist - he knew what he was doing. He was so good i decided to extend my 60 min session to 90. Will definitely visit again, and I'd highly recommend them.

Of course I had to come back and upgrade my review. I've tried this place on several occasions and though I reserve with a specific person each time, they give you who ever is there. They messed my nails up so bad that they look worse than they did when I went in. I won't be back and I'm requesting our company remove them from our list of best 10 men spas. The worker turnover is high (I've never seen the same worker more than once, only the desk clerk.

Come here about once a month for my waxing. Staff is always extremely friendly and professional. Place is very clean and has a spa atmosphere. Kind of annoying that manicures are done with the staff wearing gloves, makes me as a client feel dirty and I don't feel like my manicure is as good when they do wear the gloves, but other than that this place is a must try!
