I’ve been to Metamorphosis on multiple occasions. Self care days, Mother-Daughter packages and most recently to help when my neck was in severe pain. I booked my last visit the same day, only a couple hours prior to my arrival. The salon is clean and relaxing. Fruit infused water is offered upon arrival. Jaime was my massage therapist. He listened to my needs and really worked to make sure my neck was in better condition when I left. It’s a splurge at $150 for 50 minutes, but I’ll continue to go back as I’ve never had a bad experience there. Their facials are wonderful too. I usually do the Clean as a Whistle facial, and they always make sure they cater to my sensitive, rosacea prone skin. I always walk out glowing. Love this place!

My brother and I went because we got gift certificates. I’ve had a couple of massages before, but none of them compared to the one I received at metamorphosis day spa. All of the staff members were very kind and courteous. I felt very welcomed and relaxed from the moment I walked in. I will definitely be going back in the near future. I suggest you go get a massage at metamorphosis day spa. You will not regret it.

What a luxurious experience! I’ve had many massages before. This ranks right up there among the best but I must rave about the facial - that was the most relaxing experience ever! Absolutely wonderful. My mom and I did the mother/daughter package while we were on vacation in NYC. The services were great, prices were reasonable, professional staff and it was a lovely spa. I highly recommend this spot. Ask for Ingrid for your massage and Anita for your facial. I can't remember exactly who helped my mom but she said they were both wonderful so I'm sure you can't go wrong with any employee here.

I bought a spa package, mother and daughter spa day; It includes an hour European facial with a head and hand massage/ treatment and then an hour swedish massage. It was GREAT. The people who provided the service were so great and knowledgeable. The place is small and it is pricey but it was so worth it. It was my mother's bday and she loved it and that's what mattered to me. Thanks again to Tanya, Marcy, David, and the other masseuse (I'm sorry I can't remember).

Loved my facial. Platza was awesome .. I got my bikini waxed and did a massage with Jose. Wow!!!! I feel better than ever :) Iove going to the cafe for snacks. I love the body scrubs too! My banya pass was free because I got a facial - loved the products... Bought a home routine :) I didn't make it to the roof with the pretty view.. Next time :)

Well, I can say without a doubt that from all my visits to NYC Spas, this one is far and away the best. The moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff members in an already relaxing environment. My visits to spas are not necessarily a regular occurrence, but as someone who works daily in the city for long hours, they are much needed. This particular spa, however, far exceeded my expectations. I got a facial, which cleared up my skin and was easily the most relaxing hour of my week. When you work long hours and accumulate stress in the city, it is sometimes the simpler things, like getting a facial, that can make the biggest difference. The spa has the amenities of a luxury resort but the care and attention to detail of a small, family owned business. The woman who did my facial, Anita, was incredibly warm and did a tremendous job. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone who is looking for one, and am certainly going to return. They didn’t even charge me for the spa water, even though I think I finished all of it myself!

There are a few things that distinguish this place from any other spas In the area. It's hard to find a clothing optional, gender neutral spa inNew York. They do a great job maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. The cold plunge is perfect and the two-story dry sauna with staircase is not to be missed!

The second we walked in the lady told us to be quiet because our voices are going to be carried through the hallway. The lady at the front desk was the most rude and sarcastic person. She truly ruined the experience for us. It was my bestfriend's birthday and she was aware of this. She put us in the "quiet room" which is this tiny little room that is filthy to get us "out of the way". Every thing she said to us was beyond awful. There was no calming music or anything to resemble a spa. I felt like I was being bullied by the lady at the front desk. While we were waiting for our facials, we kept hearing the lady at the front desk engaging in gossip and talking badly about people. Worst spa experience I have ever had. I would never recommend.
