Loved it.. we are a couple vacationing from MIAMI to NY and looking for a place to relax after all the walking, tours and seeing. Almost about to give up since 8.30pm google showed me all the spas as closed. And luckily we found this place. 24/7 open. Excellent service, cleaness and spa. This place is beautiful! I did body scrub with one hour massage and I'm very happy! Service are great! The place is very clean and atmosphere is very peaceful! Afterwards I used dry sauna, steam, detox room , solt room and different types of soaking tubs. I definitely recommend Juvenex Spa and looking forward to back soon !

We came here for my sister’s bachelorette party and it exceeded our expectations! We had seven girls and were a bit hung over from the festivities the night before so we ended up getting there a little late and they were very sweet and accommodating. We all got the energy healing massage and it was AMAZING. Every single girl in our group was so happy with their massages. The ladies that worked there were so sweet. I personally had Sunny. She was amazing and it was so relaxing. After our massages we had access to the sauna and bath area. It felt so nice to just chill out and relax with the group. We will definitely be coming back. The massage was ok paid $113 ( tax included ) I have had better. The guy who did the massage didn't speak a word in English. Massage rooms are on the 4th floor of the building, right below it there is a karaoke bar, and at night there is a party going on, and you can hear it while you are on the massage. Main reason I went there is because of the steam room, which I really needed, but it wasn't hot enough. Dry sauna was odd. pros : open 24/7, friendly personal

To me it was not a good experience. I normally go to spas to relax and help with my anxiety. This place did not help at all. I kinda ran out of it because I was about to get an anxiety attack there. The saunas are small and so dark. Health hazard for me. Because of my anxiety I need to sleep with some lights unless I'm with someone who I trust. My and my friend went there she loves to get massages to me they're overpriced. I can get the same exact treatment for the same exact time at half the price at Josephine spa by upper manhattan. Yes it was clean staff was extremely nice but to me it didn't feel welcoming it was just a health hazard for my situation.

WASTE OF MONEY! I went with my friend and the whole spa smelled! Nothing was clean about it. When we went to do a body scrub they had a garbage can filled with water. They used ivory soap NOT body scrub!! They told us to get fully naked with attitude. Giving us a hard scrub didn’t get to enjoy it at all! They yelled at my friend to get up!! Threw our bathing suits at us and rushed us to get out! Nasty towels they were giving us. The steam room was nice but the staff and body scrub was disgusting I would not go back! It was sketchy once you walk in the building. Nothing was relaxing about the spa at all. DO NOT GO SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

Last week I was here with my friend. OMG it was soooo goood! Just perfect. The service is fabulous, the therapist are so nice and professional, front desk girls are nice and friendly. We got a scrub and 60 minute energy balancing massage, but better we took 90 minute because it was soooo Amazing and relaxing! I will totally advise this place to all my friends! I had a great time there. The prices are steep but you can eat, sleep and pray there! The moment was worth the money. Also, It's that peaceful to me. I love there are many floors you can get more dollar for the buck! I had an excellent masseuse her name is Anne. She is a Columbian woman with so much poise and holds a great conversation. Anyway, she did an amazing job with her hands I almost died and then came back. The mood was good. The champagne was amazing and the fruit was delicious! The people are super great. My birthday felt so relaxed. Oh, one more thing bring a bathing suit or wear their handy bloomers! Lol, the top was cute but the bottoms looks like a diaper. I said no thank you. They’re always making sure you’re okay. They provide a one time use of a bathing suit. It’s a co-ed bath and private scrub area as well as massage area.

it’s clean. but there are WAY better spas around. especially for the price. you get one room with a few different tubs and 2 different igloos. got a scrub, was freezing the entire time. for the price, you can go to spa castle or king spa multiple times. but we were the only ones there for a majority of the time so it can be a more intimate experience.

I had an excellent experience on a weekday afternoon. I had booked in advance a scrub, adding a 30 minute massage at a daytime discount rate. The space was not crowded and peaceful. Mimi took care of me from start to finish, including the scrub, hairwashing, massage, facial and tea and fruit after. I enjoyed the dry and wet saunas first, as well as a dip in the warm pool. The only complaint was that the area where the scrub was done was colder than ideal, but there was plenty of warm water and warmer times to come.

I wanted to try the v-steam for a while but no one I know wanted to go. Most amazing experience at juvenex spa. The staff were super nice, professional, and educated me on the experience. "Beautiful" my spa consultant coached me through the process, checked on my comfortability level, and gave snacks, cucumber water, and champagne. We even had tag names her's was beautiful & mines was cutie! The place was not crowded and clean. The gyno spa treatment is a must. The herbs smell great and process is low activity. First impact is the heat, Beautiful checked the heating level twice to make sure I was in a safe zone, which I was. I will for sure do this experience again @ juvenex spa. I will also try other treatments they have.

I've come to Juvenex a number of times over the years, but never wrote a review. I feel the need to do so now after seeing the three most recent, which are absurd. First, the man who says he will remove his 1-star review if Juvenex reviews its "surveillance camera" footage from the night he visited to prove his locker wasn't broken into and his money stolen. Does he really think a spa has surveillance cameras recording customers dressing and undressing in their locker room?? That's preposterous. And I can tell you I've never had any problem with anything being missing from my locker at Juvenex. It's a very safe, secure environment. Then the two people claiming they saw cockroaches in the soaking tubs -- two similar reviews also showed up on Yelp, so it's clearly a concerted effort by a disgruntled group of friends to make the spa look bad. The truth? In all my years of coming to Juvenex, I've never seen even one single cockroach. Could there have been one once? Sure, this is NYC, you can't absolutely guarantee no roach ever anywhere. But roaches are absolutely not a problem at Juvenex, and saying otherwise all over the Internet is simply a lie. Juvenex is a calm, lovely, warm spa, not perfect (what spa is?), but very, very nice. The dry sauna is hot, the salt room is atmospheric and healing, the steam room is a little too "herb-y" for me, but I have friends who love it. The massages vary in quality depending on who you get, but even the worst I've had has been decent and the best has been amazing. Body scrubs are thorough and you emerge feeling lighter, softer, and smoother! The soaking tubs aren't always filled, which really should be easy to fix, and the showers are sometimes too hot or too cold. The disposable undies they make you wear after 5 are silly and uncomfortable; I'd much rather just wear a robe or go naked (everyone there's an adult, and a simple naked body is more dignified than these giant, floppy, half-transparent disposables that you can see guys' junk through anyway). But overall, taking everything into account, it's one of the city's better spas. Certainly not the sort of place where you have to worry about theft or roaches! Go, see for yourself. Don't let some angry people with a grudge spread lies.

Came here on a Sunday night. I don't remember the name of the package, but I had a private jacuzzi for 30 minutes, body scrub, massage, and free access to the area for a while. Overall a good experience, but somewhat expensive for what it was. I'd imagine there are better spas with the same prices, although no one has better hours. Having to go through the public elevators twice in a robe during the visit wasn't great. The staff mostly didn't speak English well. It was mostly empty when I entered. The process was simple enough. I brought my own wine because I had heard their wine was cheap, and they were accommodating, storing it in a fridge while I got ready. They asked my shoe size and gave me slippers. They gave me a locker and offered a second one, though one was enough for me. The locker had an electronic combination lock, and you create your own combination. I was given a robe and disposable swimming trunks. The 'private room' I changed in looked like an office conference room turned into a wash room, though the glass walls and doors were frosted. The trunks were made of a black paper-like material that reminds me of hospital gowns. Thin and very slightly see-through, though with their dim lighting that really wasn't an issue. After changing and storing my belongings in a locker, I waited a bit in the salt room, as they were setting up the jacuzzi room. It was a medium-size round room with wooden walls and a few benches. There were containers of Himalayan sea salt against the walls. (The area was supposedly under water millions of years ago, so the name isn't as dumb as it sounds). Warm, though not as warm as a sauna. I'm sure people will attest to the benefits of the salt room, though it didn't do much for me. The jacuzzi room was a large tiled room that probably doubled as a body scrub room. The jacuzzi was probably nicer when it was newer. It was still a fine experience, though there was a crack on the side and the walls of the room were mildewy near the tub. They set up a table with cups of water, some sliced pineapple, and a bottle of wine in a bucket of ice. Their wine was Verdi spumante (5% alcohol)--basically the cheapest sparkling wine you can get. They brought in my wine too, plus plastic champagne flutes. The body scrub was next. Not sure why they didn't just use the room I was in. We took the public elevator to the next room, on the fourth floor. The scrub was fine. They use exfoliating sponges or cloths to scrub away excess dead skin. Not meant to be fun in and of itself, but the results were interesting. My skin felt like it had been moisturized, for the next day or so. I dried off and changed into a new pair of disposable trunks, and waited in another salt room. After maybe ten minutes, we went into the massage room on the same floor. Mostly a standard body massage with a cucumber mask. Enjoyable, but not memorable. After that, I hung out for a while at something resembling a bar (I don't think they served alcohol there). Had to take the public elevators again. They didn't mention a time limit, but I sat at the bar for about 30 minutes.

This place is a joke the only thing somwhat that was ok was the massage itself. The place is run down kinda sketchy place the staff can barely speak English ...had the couples massage package. Sent us to this rinky dink room with a jacuzzi that could barely fit one person let alone two. Never told us how to use it just pointed to door and told us to go in. No fruit as promised staff was laughing and joking around not a pleasant and quite experience whatsoever. Not worth $430 dollars no way. Asking for a refund was like pulling teeth. They make you pay first which I found very weird to begin with. Find somewhere else place all out sucks!!!

Pros-All the different areas we were in were looked clean and though it was very humid it smelled herbal. The massages weren't memorable but the ladies were very nice. Cons- The dim lighting -everywhere- made the place seem dreary and gray, not relaxful. They only had curtains as a form of privacy in the room I was in. Thank God it was just my sister and I although I did see some private rooms.

I took my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary and Juvenex did not disappoint. I purchased the couples exclusive package. The hot tub was in a private room, which included champagne and fruit. The body scrub and sauna was great. Finally, the best part of all the couples massage. My body was loose and relaxed. My only complain was the location of the area. Also bring your own bathing suit. The disposible ones given are flimsy. Overall, a great experience.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. I hadn't been to a Jimjilbang since living in Korea back in 2014, and I was not disappointed. Although substantially more expensive then the jimjimbangs which are abundant in Korea, it was much more spa-like and luxuious. I felt like a queen and my skin is so soft thanks to the thorough scrub by Heidi and I feel so relaxed thanks to the heavenly massage by Murnia!

On the positive side, the messages are good. But the packages provided are not as advertised. We got a romantic package for two which we supposed to be 150 minutes including Jaccuzi, Message, and Exfoliation for $460 (including tip). First I was made to wait in the locker room for 25 minutes. Then we were only provided with Jaccuzi and massage and they said the exfoliation is optional and the entire treatment was 90 minutes. We were then told that the changing was also included in the 150 minutes (they had calculated 60 minutes for changing). The entire offering is quite misleading. There was no responsiveness and some passive aggressive behavior for asking about it .

I came to spa for 24 hours and asked resrptionist is it $85 she told me yes. They pushed me to take massage service and I made a decidion to try. The lady who did my massage has attitude like she do not want to be here and her technic was nothing. In relaxing room was to hot and loud and I opened doore to brif and working lady closed it very loud with attitude. I told her I need relax and she told me I can sleep in another room. At early morning another worker wake up me and asked me 20 quastions!!!!!! She told me: You can not sleep here. What time did I came to sauna. She told me $85 cost to stay 6 hours. I CAME TO SPA TO FEEL GOOD NOT DISGUSTED AND END UP GETTING RIPPED OFF!!! How you can get clients with this attitude? I been at all saunas in Manhatten snd NJ. It nasty plase to stay in Just checked my bank account you charged me $85 for entrance. Do not lie. Be honest.

This place when you walk in isn’t a nice spa feeling. Then when you go to the room for a private jacuzzi for 2 the tub was to small for two people. When the forty min expired for the jacuzzi and was time for my massage one of the workers just walked in on us to tell us times up, no knocking on the door just a walk in while we weren’t dressed properly. Nasty. I just couldn’t believe it and then they walked in again with out knocking I wouldn’t recommend this place to fast and I wouldn’t go back. This is for $400 a treatment I would expect better treatment and service than that

Great value for money day spa - with comfortable and clean facilities. I had a basic purifying spa package straight after a red eye flight, and I felt rejuvenated afterwords. The scrub reminded me of a Turkish hammam, maybe to tough for some, but just what I required. The massage was excellent. The spa bath / sauna circuit is basic, but calming and fulfills its purpose.

As for example to ask me if my fiance was rich, I did not appreciate this lack of discretion, we come to a spa to relax and not to receive questions like this. Price level super expensive for what it is !! i would just go back for the scrub and again .. (Original) nous etions en couple, on n'a fait un scrub ensemble qui etait vraiment bien, mon fiancé a fait un massage qui été bien d'aprés son avis, moi un facial, que je n'ai pas forcement apprécié, elle n'a pas fait grand chose sur mon visage, elle a passer plus de temps a regarder mes imperfections et me poser des questions INDISCRETES, plus que prendre soin de moi. Comme par exemple me demander si mon fiancé été riche, je n'ai pas apprécier ce manque de discretion, on vient dans un spa pour se relaxer et non pour recevoir des questions de ce genre. Niveau prix super chére pour ce que c'est !! j'y retournerais juste pour le scrub et encore..

Sorry to say I had a VERY overall negative experience here. The good is that the greeting staff was very nice. I had read they could be kind of a problem but that did not happen at all. Also, the massage was not bad BUT with all that was going on was not enjoyable. So for the experience, I made an appointment for after midnight. Arrived and was shown to men's dressing room. Was told "no nudity allowed" and you must wear provided disposable shorts. The shorts were really weird because you could basically see completely thru them. Korean spa (authentic ones) don't have any hang ups about nudity and if Juvenex does why not give less revealing shorts? Things just got weirder from that point and I could kind of understand why they did not want their clientele running around naked. So I get into my see thru black uncomfortable disposable shorts and go to the dry sauna. So dark at first you could not see at all. So after breaking a good sweet, I am taken to my massage. NO SHOWER -- just so NASTY. I had showered before I went to Juvenex of course but dripping sweat I don't want anyone to touch me and to be honest I am not sure I want to be touched by someone who would touch me in that state. I tried to ask for a shower but LMT did not understand English. Now, the room was nice but the therapist left the door open so anyone walking outside could walk in or by and watch what was going on. That being said I was wrapped from head to toe in a burka like towel. HORRIBLE. Then the flloor show arrived. A very loud group of people began to have what sounded like a block party outside my door --- all the while the door is wide open. No management, no security seemed to be present to calm them down or enforce some kind of spa like calm. ZERO. After several minutes they went away to be replaced almost immediately by what sounded like two mature woman, one of who had some kind of portable speaker that was blasting what seemed to be R. Kelly's best hits. I really could not believe that anyone would be doing this in a spa environment. I also could not believe with all the staff running around that no one tried to limit this kind of behavior. Finally they went away for about 10 minutes only to return and have a REALLY inappropriate conversation outside my door. Again no staff intervention, door open. About 3/4 into the massage the environment settled down. I was so ready to leave I cant tell you -- but I have to say under normal circumstance I would have enjoyed the massage the LMT being good. So finally I went to leave and dress. Was offered water or juice and NO SHOWER again but at this point I was so ready to leave I could wait to the hotel. Let me be frank, if your looking for a REAL Korean sauna this is NOT it. If you looking to relax in your birthday suit and not be bothered this it NOT it. If your looking for a somewhat pricey massage (that is good) while soaked with sweat from the sauna and no shower while wearing your little see thru disposable pants and a loud crowd, this might be the place for you.

Nasty! I spent close to 300 at the spa for 2 people to get a massage. The place was not clean and the therapists also looked unhygienic. I kept asking to have my therapist switched to someone else and kept getting one disgusting (and very old) lady after the other. We decided to leave and not get the massage but the front desk refused to give me a refund and only offered store credit. As if I ever want to come back to this place. I will be taking this matter up with my bank as they charged for services which were never received. I come to a spa to feel good, not disgusted and end up getting ripped off. Take your business somewhere cleaner.

Please beware that the pictures are far better than reality! 1. there is no changing room 2. the three 'pool' water options were as follows: lukewarm, lukewarm, and lukewarm. The water levels were as follows: 1/4 full, 3/4 full, 1/4 full. 3. The steam room seemed like it was made out of plastic, and had a bad smell to it 4. The sauna was filled with what appeared to be old native-american like rugs and such: this didnt help the smell either 5. The private room/tub, a floor down (4th floor), was the size of a tub in my NYC apartment. There was no oil, no soap, no bath salts, nothing in the tub. The temperature of the water was lukewarm. The lights i believe were taken from a vegas nightclub: strobing and color changing. The 'fruit-plate' consists of 5 watermelon squares. I was too afraid to even open the champaign. Overall, this was a completely terrible experience. There is no thought whatsoever in this "spas" management in terms of quality or even something as simple as maintaining the water temperature. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I absolutely LOVE this place : -) . When I am in NYC I take a trip there every chance I get. I happened upon Juvenex about 5 years ago.The best massages! After my steam the masseuse got on my back with her hands and knees and kneaded my back like it was pizza dough. FELT AMAZING. After I relaxed at the fruit/water bar. Soooooo relaxing. I was a little sore the next few days but by day two........ I was a new person.

Loved the overall atmosphere. Came with 4 other women, and wish could all have stayed and been pampered in the same area. They provide disposable under garments, but were haphazard in who got what...I got bottoms, but no top, while all the other women I was with got both. Loved the scrub! And they freshly peeled the cucumber to cover your entire face during the message.

I didn't get a massage but friendly staff and good atmosphere. I made the mistake of laying down in the sauna and steam rooms(on a towel). I also sat in the dry room with my back on a big fluffy chair(with a robe on). The next day I noticed a massive breakout of very small white heads all over my back. I have somewhat sensitive skin but haven't had breakouts in years, and never on my back. I must have leaned against something that is rarely cleaned and the dirt seriously irritated my skin. I think it was the fluffy chair in the dry room since I sat there the longest and it looked like a really awkward chair to clean. Be careful what you lean your back on if you've got sensitive skin. Do that and you should enjoy yourself.

Decent spa in Koreatown. Leaves a little to be desired. So I was very much looking forward to this spa and the couple's package but I must say it was a bit underwhelming. For some background, I have been to a few different spas so I had high expectations (especially for the price of the couples package, $400+). The hot tub we were promised was small and frankly uncomfortable. The private room was sort of an afterthought. The bubbly was okay, and the seasonal fruits were kind of a joke (pictured). There were no aromatherapy candles and no fresh flowers as advertised. The soak tubs that they have out were actually concerning. In the 3 hours we were there we realized that not once was the water circulated/changed. The staff was friendly, albeit disorganized. The saving grace of the spa was that it is open 24/7, has a nice atmosphere, and the massage was decent. Bottom line, I would go here if this is your first time and want to take advantage of the hours. I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. I was interested in their other treatments but I was honestly turned off by the whole experience. Make sure to explore your options before booking.

I'm in giving them 5 stars because there amenities are great for the price. This place is clean, and very nice. They provide you a robe and disposable bathing suit .I got a scrub and massage. My massage and scrub was very good. I really liked they have four different kind detox room and three different soaking tubs one that is warm with lemon the other that is very hot and icecold bath. Overall it is a good Korean spa for super special and luxurious.

My favorite spot in NY for a massage or facial! Always smells great, the front desk staff is friendly, and the masseuses and estheticians are all professional! It's surprisingly quiet inside, even being right off of busy Highland! Couples massages are great and they even let you sit in a room to decompress beforehand with wine, apple slices, cheese, crackers, and a lovely fireplace view!

I have been here once, in September, and will return again on Monday. I have been to many spas in the U.S., and have been getting massages for decades, and I have never encountered a place like Juvenex. The body scrub was relaxing and rejuvenating, and my skin felt like BUTTAH! The subsequent massage was perfect. The place is clean, a little mysterious, and the elevators are slow. It was a highly mediocre experience. I did a deep tissue massage, and there was no oil used, when asked they gave lotion which was cold. There was no technique at all used. Please don’t come here unless you want to be disappointed.

The staff on the phone is incredibly rude and utterly unhelpful. We called and asked questions because their website was having a domain connection issue, preventing us from seeing prices. We were told by the woman on the phone that she didnt "have time to deal with you" because it's Valentine's day weekend. A simple quote on their basic package would have taken only a moment, at least if we're to believe this employee is as well trained as she seems to think she is. Find other spas that have the time to actually respect you as a customer. God forbid you want that apparently.

Bought the $425 couples package. Got there 12 pm for our appointment. Had the couples massage (excellent) and the private jacuzzi (excellent) but was then told we couldn't use the rest of the facilities (which is included in the package) because it's women only at that time. Why would they allow a couple to book at noon if they couldn't use the entire facility? So, at 1:30pm, an hour and a half after being there, we had to leave because there was simply nothing else to do. Not worth $425 as I kinda got ripped off.

I went there to try the private jacuzzi I was expecting something similar to the picture, and when I saw it I was about to have heart attacks!! Do not believe the pictures ,because they are scam ! They don't mean anything. back to the jacozi , I couldn't fit my feet in it ! It's ridiculous the one I have in my house is even bigger !! Why would I spend 200$ for this , it was just a dam , I suggest some lawyer to sue them . If your not a lawyer just try to avoid this place unless you like bad surprises . Good luck

Pls save your money and do not make a trip here. My friend and I decided to go here because we needed a little stress reliever. Upon walking in, there was a really bad smell in the entire spa. It did not at all smell like chlorine or cleanliness. We say in two sauna rooms which were okay, then proceeded to get a Korean body scrub. This started by being ushered into a small area and two ladies followed and told us to get naked, completely naked. They then told us to lay down On a plastic bed that didn’t even look well sanitized. They had a garbage bin filled with water and bowls floating around in it. Once the scrub began they put on what felt like 2$ gloves and IRISH SPRING SOAP! to do the scrub. I was so disappointed that the scribe wasn’t with their hands and no lavender sea salt type of smell. They used the bowls and garbage can of hot water to throw water over your body as they scrubbed. The face mask was about 2 minutes and didn’t feel rejuvenated at all!!! The pool looked dirty and had whole lemons in it. How will the lemons help us if they weren’t even sliced!? There were lots and pans and plates banging throughout our entire stay which made it hard to be comfortable. There was also a topless female which they didn’t care about which was also a little comfortable. My friend as I wasted our money for sure. NOT worth 130$. If you want a real spa, skip this place. It was super sketchy and they blocked the elevator for us to leave because we didn’t want to top. DONT GO

Staff a little unorganized but were able to take our couples massage walk in appointment right away. Bath for two smaller then the picture and water was very hot upon arrival but nice experience. Comfy robes given and couples massages were enjoyable. No lotion for the first 1/4 of experience but still very relaxing. We will be back!

No photos, obviously; I went at 9pm on a Thursday, so a co-ed time; it was me and a group of girlfriends chatting. (they seemed really cool but I didn't want to intrude!) I had a great deal of fun soaking in the lemon tub, ginseng tub, and the steam room -- everything is very clean and well-maintained. The slippers are pretty narrow, so if you have wide feet, go up a size; also, they'll give you a single-use bathing suit, so you don't actually have to pack one. Finally, after treatments (I got the scrub; highly recommend; I lost 2lb in dead skin that night), you get tea and pineapple! How delightful.

I LOVE JUVENEX SPA! This is my 4th time going. Today I had Full Body Scrub and a facial with extractions. Maria is the best. If you shower and think your skin is clean, once you get a body scrub and get your skin exfoliated and see the dry skin. WOW! The experience was relaxing and amazing. I will.be exfoliating on my own more often. The hostess she is very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this spa to everyone. There are so many things you can get done there. When I want to relax and get pampered i go to.Juvenex.The sauna is awesome. Couples, singles, groups. I traveled all the way from Queens to Manhattan and bumped into my sister there. I had a massage with June. She was lovely! Place was clean, organized and efficient. Massage was a little pricey, but it's NY and it was a great hour of attention to detail, finished with water, tea and a sweet pineapple at their bar. Would have stayed longer, but it's all co Ed, and i wasn't feeling the bikini they gave (no way in hell it would fit..lol) and there were lookey loo dudes at the bar. Wish they had a female only section, weeks have stayed for a long time.
