One of the most painful massages of my life. My male masseuse kept pressing on certain pressure points on my back and it was painful to bare. I had made discomfort sounds and mentioned my discomfort but it was ignored to my dismay. Most awkward massage I've ever had. I could also hear the male customer next door breathing as he got his massage, so relaxing huh. On top of that My massage cost about 55 dollars for one hour and when I gave a $5 tip in advance she mentioned (the receptionist) it was too low and that $10 would be good. I could not believe the audacity but I paid up. Overall I would never go back to this place. Beware.

I went yesterday to have a massage. They asked me: "Are you ok if a male gives you the massage?" I said: "it is ok". Oh my God... I do not know the name of that guy, but he gave me one of the roughest massages of my life, I have not felt well today at all, my body is destroyed and achy, I have been having head aches and a pain in my shoulders which is bothering me a lot. Something to add about this bad experience, is that this male began to massage my bottom part, without even asking me if I was comfortable with it, he just pulled my underwear down and began to massage, I had to tell him NO PLEASE... I had gone to this place two times and the massages had been good, but this time it was an honestly awful experience.

This is my favorite hidden gem. The massage therapists check in to make sure you're comfortable, but are not chatty throughout the massage. The facilities are clean, and the facials are great. I recommend Jenny (facials) and Jerry (massage), though I've had others work on me and have never had a bad experience. The price is also unbeatable.

These are the reasons why I will NEVER GO BACK to Acacia Spa again: 1. On both my visits, the Reception/Waiting Area had an odd smell which I cannot describe. Luckily, the Private rooms did not smell. 2. I didn't have to wait too long in the Waiting Area before I was escorted to my Private Room. When you are lead to a Private Room, I would expect it's because my Masseuse is ready for me but I just lied there for 10 whole minutes before anyone came to acknowledge me! (I was wearing my watch so I know) 3. In the hallway, the employees talk very loudly amongst themselves so from time to time, my "relaxing" time would be interrupted. Someone even came into my Private Room during my massage so again, that interrupted my "relaxing" time. 4. My masseuse ran out of lotion so for the last 10-15 mins, it was a dry skin-on-skin massage which was not very enjoyable. 5. Perhaps for the very reason described in Point #4, she cut my massage short by 7 mins (I looked at my watch when she started the massage so I know). 6. After I paid, the Receptionist assumed I didn't speak Mandarin and said to my Masseuse "I charged her $60 because it was her first visit." Firstly, it wasn't my first visit and how would Acacia Spa even know, given that my first visit had a different Receptionist and it was for a different Service! Secondly, since when is the Fee based on number of visits?! If anything, first visits are cheaper to entice customers to return! Some important Background Info: I read amazing reviews when they were located at 140 Fulton St. When I got to that location, I saw a sign advising that they had moved to 108 Greenwich St, so proceeded to walk there, not realizing it was the place where I had previously got a Swedish Massage (which I would rate 3/10). Given that I was there already, that's when I decided I would give them a second chance with a Foot Massage (which I would rate 4/10). The place is run by a group of unprofessionals who don't have a clue about "Service" and what a One Hour Foot Massage for $60 should entail. Just because you have moved to a nicer location does not mean you can AUTOMATICALLY charge higher prices - your Service should match your fee!

I got a 60 minute massage and 30 minute facial. Both were amazing and very relaxing. It was $92 for the full service (including tax), and well worth it. My massage therapist was Coco, and she was great. Never once did I think she was trying to cut the massage short or not giving it her all. She made the entire experience very relaxing. The facial included a face massage, scalp massage, and a mini arms and legs massage. I really enjoyed the experience, and will be back!

I had been so stressed from my job and needed a massage very bad but really didn't have the time to look for a spot so a friend of mine referred me to Acacia Spa. This new spa is right around the corner from my job in the Wall Street area and I got my appointment the same day. I was welcomed by May when I arrived and then she kindly introduced me to my masseuse - Grace, who took over from there. This was simply the best massage I've ever had and the price was lower than what I would usually pay. Grace was very much in tune with my body from the start...she stayed focused on my problem areas and worked out all the knots....she loosened and stretched all my entire body from head to toe. All I had to do was just lay there, close my eyes and relax.... this is exactly what I wanted. Also, there were no annoying alarms and buzzers ringing to remind her to stop...she stopped when my body responded that it was ok and my massage was well over an hour. The atmosphere was very quiet, calming and friendly, but yet still professional....the rooms were quiet, fresh and clean. I was worked on from head to toe and had no alarms and buzzers to remind them to stop. I know I can be very judgmental about certain things.....and I've had my share of "Hurry up and Buy" massages before... so I'm always on the lookout for anyone trying to pull a fast one on me.... but I can quite honestly say, I could not find anything wrong with this Spa. Thank you Acacia Spa....I will definitely be back this week.

I've been here about 15 times in the last 2 years. I always walk away thinking THAT was the best one - that's why I keep coming back! I rotate between masseuses both men and woman. Yes they might talk on the hallway or even switch masseuses but they are clean, respectful, knowledgeable and they listen to your requests. See you soon Acacia ! My favorites are Mandy and Jerry.

Don't like that they make you pay first ...the receptionist was very rude and nasty and showed her attitude on her face... The massage was just "ok" I've had much better! My women kept having to stop on me because she was being talked to and needed by people outside the room... I only tipped very little because of how comfortable the masseuse made me with all of the pillows because I was actually 6 months pregnant other then that I would of never tipped and I always tip. I waited weeks for this massage and it was just such a disappointment won't go back.

So I've been going to this Spa for some years now. I usually ask for Grace or Coco. Just recently I was told by the receptionist that if I call to make an appointment with one of these two, I have to book at least 45 minutes. They say I can just walk in and have anyone but Grace or Coco do my massage for 30 minutes. I cannot believe they would do such a thing. I have an hour lunch break I can't always do 45 minutes. I ask for Grace or Coco and I tipped them very very well. I would tip $15.00 to $20.00 for a half hour massage and now they took that away from those girls by changing the policy. I hardly want to believe that it's the masseuse who came up with this change. In fact one of the receptionist told me that they get a percentage of the price for massages so they would rather do a longer massage to get a bigger cut. I can't believe that the receptionist told me this. I am very disappointed with this change in Policy and very disturbed with the whole situation. I do not appreciate being told that I have to do a 45 minutes massage if I want Grace or Coco. This whole situation makes me very upset that I am forced to stop going to this spa for my massage. I know that they will lose a very good customer and a good tipper but I refused to set foot in their spa again. I asked to speak with the Owner on two occasions and never heard from anyone. It's appalling that they forced their policy on me. Those two should leave that spa. They know who I am and I hardly believe they would like to lose me as a customer. The problem is they do not speak English or their English is limited. Oh well, I just have to find another spa of which there are many!!

The girl is completely professional, incredibly talented, perfect pressure, friendly, and made my 60mins very relaxing. I have been getting massages my entire life and all over the world, I honestly have to say Hideaway Spa & Lounge was one of the absolute best massages I've ever had. I can't wait to go back!

I have been here once before because my mom got a groupon for this spa.My initial experience was great but I was worried because the person who did my facial did not talk throughout the facial. I am more comfortable when the favialist explains what they do or will check us and ask if we are doing okay. Regardless, the experience was great! Being my second time here, I LOVED it! Jenny, who did my facial, was caring and precise with her work. She would ask me if I was okay during the course of my facial. I am looking forward to coming here again for a facial and other services.

Place was in chaos. We booked a side by side massage well in advance when we arrived after 30 minutes delay we were informed they made a mistake and we can only do separate rooms. Looked like a lot of delays and double bookings. Massage itself was ok.
