Great experience. All tools were sanitized, and nail files were individually wrapped, single use. I didn't get a pedicure but did see that they use tub liners. Very clean! Great manicure - - my regular Essie manicure looked great and lasted 10 days. They charge extra for quick dry top coat, but even so it came in at am extremely reasonable $12.50. Great location near subway and PATH trains. I'll be back!

The girls here are all so sweet and incredibly talented at what they do. I can be a very selective customer and yet, I was beyond pleased with the way they shaped, filed, and design my coffin Independence Day nails! Plus, my pointer finger nails were broken on both hands when I came in and they were very cautious over the way they did them. They really take their time to do your nails perfectly here. Impeccable work! The picture speaks for itself

1st time visiting Golden Glow Spa and I was happy with my nails. After getting a SNS manicure at a previous nail salon and wasn't happy with the results I decide to give Golden Glow a shot. Made an appt, didn't have to wait and Ivy was great. This will be my go to nail salon from now on.

I visited this salon specifically for a dip manicure. I wanted to wait to review, to see how my manicure held up. I got my nails done on 7/9/18, reviewing on 7/22/18. Almost two weeks and no chips or nicks whatsoever! I continue to be impressed with my manicure because they still look perfect! Thanks!

Ivy was fantastic! She shaped my nails up beautifully and did the most gorgeous dip powder ombré white / soft pink. She even added some nail art on top with a colored diamond jewel. They have a large selection of dip colors and jewels and decor available for nail art or unique manicures. Wonderful service and nice space. Ivy was super kind and gentle with my nails and cuticles. Will gladly go every few weeks for something new!

I initially wasn’t happy with my nails - the owner was so considerate and kind, offered me a free powder manicure. She promised it would be better and it was amazing. I also got a massage - such good quality at such a low price. love it.

I went here randomly looking for a place to do tips when I found out my usual salon doesn't do them. The lady did a really good job, although I forgot to ask her name. I decided to come back a second time to get tips done again (SNS powder technique). A different woman did them this time, I wanted the coffin shape but she butchered some of my nails. They were too pointy, with no shine looking scratched up. I was not happy with the end result. Pictures attached. They were small details I noticed but for $60 it was unacceptable for me. I decided to go back and tell them something about it, and they had no problem with me doing so. They told me to have a seat and another lady fixed my nails, redid the powder, refiled them and even took off two nails that I didn't like and completely redid them, all for free and no complaints. This time I did ask her name and she said her name was Ivy. I will be going back (not to the lady who butchered my nails), but everyone generally seems nice and I am giving 5 stars for the service they provided to me. I would definitely recommend!!

This place is a rare gem for nail salons in NYC. I was beyond by the amazing job Jahbi did on my nails. I can't stop looking at them in admiration. I barely had to give him direction on what I wanted beside the nail shape. He is probably one of the first nail technicians to do it perfectly to my taste. They really pamper you here too. I got a quick back massage and nice hot towel treatment with a hand massage. So worth the $55 for SNS with extensions. Regular SNS is $40

Worst wax experience I’ve ever had!! Upon arriving I looked at their pricing list it said 40$ for a brazilian wax. As a person who regularly gets waxed I know fully well that a BRAZILIAN means both FRONT AND BACK! I soon realized during the session that They would charge an extra 5 for the back. I told her it was false advertisement that she couldn’t give me a bikini wax and charge me for a Brazilian. The staff was extremely rude and made very rude comments like you have too much hair while I received my wax, my issue was about false advertising not the extra $5. I proceeded to pay extra and upon paying I was nagged about a tip!! I hated my service so you could only imagine my disbelief when she pressured me to give a tip. On top of all that she proceeded to talk In her language while pointing at me with an attitude I will NEVER give my money to this establishment ever again!!!

I walked in on a Saturday and they immediately started working on my nails. I had a previous sparkling SNS manicure that was tough to remove and my index finger nail broken and they were incredibly gentle. Maggie did my nails just as I wanted from a pic I showed her. She took her time tending to my nails and cleaning them all over. I will not go anywhere else from now on. Definitely recommend this place.

I booked an appoint for a dip power manicure and got to the appointment a few minutes early. After telling the staff that I had an appointment, they continued to call numerous walk-ins before me and ignore me for 20 minutes into my scheduled time. Not too mention it felt generally unclean inside. There are far too many nail salons in NYC for this kind of business.

I wanted to remove my shellac and they weren't patient enough to wait for the remover to do it's job, so they used a file and sanded off the remaining nail polish. My nails were so damage and scratched that they kept breaking until the damaged area finally had grown out several months late.

Worst “manicure” i have ever had. I put manicure in quotations because it cant even be called that honestly. I paid 11.50 for her to take polish off and rub my fingers and then tell me to pay so she could paint my nails. I had just taken extensions off so the surface of my nails were a bit bumpy and needed a little smoothing. Which is why I went to get the manicure. Needless to say my nails look exactly the same way they did when I went in. I was so frustrated and disappointed that I didn’t even let her paint them for me. Sorry but I will never be back there AGAIN. I never even waste my time on reviews, but this time it was necessary!!!

Golden Glow salon really did an excellent job! Great experience. My girlfriend and I walked in on Valentine’s Day with no appointment and were seen very quickly for mani/pedis. I showed them a reference picture of chrome ombré extension nails and they made my nail dreams come true! Very dedicated and talented staff - will listen to what you want. It started to get busy 20/30 minutes after we arrived and I did notice some people who had appointments waiting around - so I don’t think whether or not you make an appointment makes a difference on how prioritized you are. If there are any chips or breaks within 2 weeks of your appointment, they will fix it. Definitely coming back!

I love these guys. Came here based on reviews a year ago. I still come here monthly. No frills salon. Doesn’t look sexy but you get an amazing manicure. They are fast, thorough and the manicure will last. Not the cheapest, but still reasonable. There’s a reason they have good reviews. Try it out. Massages do depend on the manicurist, but still... go!!!
