I got a Thai massage twice over here. It was so much good and relaxing.. The location is easily to find and the place was so nice too. Staffs and services are pretty good, they take care you very well. If you got a chance or looking for a nice massage as same as the original in Thailand, I recommended you should come to this place!!!

I had the traditional Thai massage. I came here through Groupon. For the price I paid, about half off, the massage was ok. If I paid full price, I would not have been too pleased. I appreciated the masseuse explaining me to breathe in and to breathe out. However, to a certain degree, it became less relaxing because of the talking. Great venue. Staff is very polite.

I have, for the last 16 years,been a professional massage therapist, after reading the good reviews about the Fifth ave Thai Spa, I wanted to try. As soon as I arrived I felt instant connection, this place is very cozy, well kept and clean, the rooms are confortable and spacious. My choise was Thai massage, the therapist was a very skilled Thai lady, after 90 minutes of treatment I felt a sensation of well being, the stress and stiffness of my body totally relieved. I have visited this Spa 3 times, 3 different massages and theraphists. I'm very impressed, excellent service, high end therapist. If you looking for a great massage I recommend Fifth ave Thai Spa.

After getting off the elevator on the fourth floor of what appears to be an office building, you will be welcomed by the Fifth Avenue Thai with a hot hand towel, slippers and warm ginger tea. The reception and waiting area are spacious, but the treatment rooms are much smaller and separated only by sliding doors so some noise gets in while you get your massage. If the slight noise level does not bother you, you will most likely be happy with the massage and service.

I went here for a super clean facial. The staff are friendly and they do the great job. I am so impressed with wonderful service and the knowledge that was given. The welcome ginger and honey tea is very awesome and the place is so lovely with nice decorating. Also, the instrumental musics make you feel comfortable and relax. I chose a deep tissue massage because I have stressful neck, headache and shoulder pain. I bought a discounted offer for this massage and it was worth it. The massage room and bathroom are clean and well maintained. The massage was medium strength and helped alleviate my tension and tense muscles. The area is very nicely located near Chanel. The elevator is small in size. The host is very gracious and offered ginger & honey warm water. You get the same (if you prefer)at the end and also cold water when you are done. You are given flip flops. I recommend Fifth Avenue Thai Spa.

I love this spa! The staff are very friendly and courteous. I love how attentive they are to everyone who comes in and I always feel relaxed. The deep tissue and signature massages are great stress relievers.

This was clean, nice, and the therapist I had gave a great massage. She focused on the areas I told her I needed her to focus on. That seems simple enough but not all massage therapist really give the proper attention to stressed areas. I will go back and bring my wife next time.

My mom come from LA.to visit me I'm welcoming her to New York by surprises and took her to the Fifth ave Thai Spa for massage and facial. I'm happy that I make the right decision to choose this Spa. My mom was very happy with the Thai massage and Super clean facial treatment. While I was waiting for her I choose Spa Manicure and Spa Pedicure for myself. My mom was very impressed for the excellent service We both left the Spa with very relaing and happy feeling .Thanks Fifth ave Thai Spa. ^^* FIVE STARS!!!

The first thing I look at when checking out a spa is Cleanliness, and I found that at Fifth Avenue Thai Spa. Everything was so in order. The staff was great. You get complementary tea while you wait (which is not long at all) and they do a great job making you feel as comfortable as possible. And the message are GREAT! highly recommend!

Great staff and atmosphere. The tea they give you tastes really good. I got their signature massage package. The messeuse was great with her hands! The walls are a bit thin but I won't let that damper the rating. All in all it is a bit pricey but well worth it. Try and check groupon for deals.

I really wanted to like this place as this place is a five minute walk from my place. I purchased a Groupon and made an appointment. It was difficult to make an appointment over the phone with the person's limited English on the other end of the line but we managed...or so I thought. The day of the appointment, I got a call asking where I was. It was 10:40 and my appointment was supposed to be at 11:00. They had mistakenly booked me for 10:30. It's fine, the guy said I could come at 11:00. I show up and the spa ambiance was lovely. I requested a Swedish massage and I asked for light pressure because I just wanted to chill out and relax. They give you a form to fill out asking about your health, injuries, etc. I wrote that I had an injury on my right hand, expecting them to read it and either ask about the injury or not work on my right hand. My therapist's name was Ariel or something like that - very petite girl. She showed me to the room and told me to undress, etc. The room didn't felt nourishing or comforting at all. It had a spotlight right over the massage table and it was just weird. I got ready and the therapist started to work on me. If her pressure was light, I don't know what medium would be! It was pretty painful overall and it wasn't the pressure I asked for but I felt tight so I figured she was doing what was needed. What really ticked me off was she clearly hadn't read the sheet of paper I filled out. She treated my right hand just like my left hand or any other part of the body. No awareness or caution whatsoever. It wasn't too hard and my hand could handle it so I just let it be but it was disappointing that she didn't care about her client. There were some points in the massage where she was only working with one hand. It felt like she was checking her phone with the other hand because the one hand kneading my neck and such was not going in a regular motion. Like she would massage for a few seconds and she would just stop abruptly for a few seconds like something interesting was on her phone or something. This happened at least three times. I get that the lights don't need to be as dim when I'm on my belly but once the person turns around the therapist should know that they should dim the lights, even if they put a towel over your face. She didn't do that so over my towel I could see a glaring light. Normally I would say something but it was nearly the end of the massage and I wasn't happy anyway so why bother. The last thing was that I got there shortly before 11 and with the time I drank the tea, filled out my paperwork, and got undressed and got settled, I'm positive she only started the massage at 11 at the earliest (which is doubtful). I looked at the time right after my massage and it was 11:54. My massage was supposed to be for 60 minutes. When I was paying the tax, I again asked how much the regular price of the massage was so I could tip appropriately. I had a 20 dollar in my hand and some other girl just tried to take it right out of my hand! I asked her how much I should be tipping on and she couldn't understand me at all. I get this is an Asian massage place but come on. At least have someone who speaks English in the front. Then she had the gall to try to sell a certificate for 70 bucks or something for the next massage. NO THANK YOU!

Very poor quality massage. But nice location. Also the reception lady is not so friendly. After finishing massage, they dont wipe the oils, no shower nor make up room. kind of wasting time. I wanted to feel good after massage but after this I feel more gross.

Had one massage there and it was amazing. Painful, but amazing. I left feeling a bit sore but refreshed. The facilities are large and clean. The massage therapist was pretty quiet throughout the procedure. Perhaps she could've asked if she was applying too much force? Not everyone can withstand the pain.

I loved this place, very nice atmosphere.I got 90 min amazing Thai massage.My masseuse was fantastic.She worked on my stiff sore muscles to relieve my tension. Great feeling.Highly recommended!!!

I visited this Spa today for the first time and was very pleased with the service. I had the Swedish massage and a pedicure. The pedicure was good, but needs improvement. The young lady was very pleasant and accommodating and I totally enjoyed when she massaged my feet. The massage was done by Paul, who I would highly recommend. He did such a wonderful job. I didn't want to get off the table when it was done. The receptionist was very pleasant also and I totally enjoyed the ginger tea. I purchased another massage for a future date. Love this peaceful place.

I'm in New York for vocation and needed a massage to relax the tension of traveling. I received excellent full body massage for an hour. The locations is very CONVENIENT near by Central Park and many store, the service is AWESOME and The massage is WOW. I don't know how to explain but next time if I visit New York again I will definitely come back here.
