I never ever take the time to review businesses but the ladies and laser equipment at Erase Spa seriously changed my life. Prior to receiving treatment I questioned my own femininity because of how furry I was and how my sensitive skin would react creating issues with ingrown hairs. Im now smooth as a baby and I think my lady friends' reactions (blown away and became Erase clients, as well) were the best reactions cause only women really understand the pains of shaving and bikini lines. I've moved to Detroit and still pay visits to Erase because they're my #1 go-to. The technicians are sweet and cool, the office clean, modern chic. Thanks to Lisa & Squad!

This place is a scam. I had to prepay $50 for consultation (that should have been a red flag). I called to reschedule my appt and they wanted to charge me a $30 rescheduling fee. I did not reschedule and lost my $50.

I've been going to EraseSpa for over a year now and till this very day I tell my friends and family it's one of the best investments I've ever made. The customer service is great. All of the girls are very friendly and approachable. My fav is Eve, she's very engaging and makes me feel so comfortable I forget all about the pain lol. During my multiple small and large laser treatments here at EraseSpa the treatments have become less and less painful and I get more comfortable with each visit. My results are amazing and I plan on purchasing another laser package soon for the new year. I also have a VI peel appointment a week before my birthday. All the ladies at Erase Spa are warm and welcoming! The spa is clean and airy. The treatments are not painless but it's nothing I can't handle. The prices are very competitive and if you're not sure if laser is for you - they usually have something on Lifebooker (which is how I found them). I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. I only have 2 more sessions left (ended up getting a 6 session package) - I'm going to miss the ladies at Erase Spa :(

Very professional and friendly environment. The prices are great considering the cost of laser nowadays and also considering they are in NYC! The place is very well put together and chic. I cannot speak of my experience because I didn’t even get through making the appointment. First of all I don’t understand why appointments can’t be made online. I was on the phone with someone for like 11 minutes trying to schedule and appointment and it was painful. They try to sell u a packages that you may not need. Once you pay for a package for a particular area if you don’t need more treatments you are out of luck. Also why not tell people that the need to pre pay. This can all be done online at the customers connivence instead of over the phone. Please upgrade.

I enjoyed the customer service of all of everyone that I met with to have the laser hair removal treatments, however I was told that it takes 9-12 sessions to have the desired results of little to no hair, so I did purchase the two six large session packages, however after 12 sessions, I still have quite a bit of hair, but now it is very patchy and uneven so I still have to shave often. I have medium/ tan skin with dark hair, but it still did not work as effectively as I expected or would have hoped.

Amy is great! Elizabeth is okay too but I was in more pain with her-- Amy has a better technique that is less painful for hair removal and was overall more attentive to me. Erase Spa has great equipment and the staff is very professional and nice. While every hair removal session I had here was quick and went smoothly, I do not strongly recommend their tattoo removal! My significant other had one tattoo removal session and the nurse who administered the local anesthetic injections on his hand stuck every single finger several times and he said it was a terrible experience (just the anesthetic injections-- NOT referring to the actual tattoo removal part of this).

Pretty amazed by this place! The price point is what drew me in and the results are what keeping me coming back for more. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the facilities are clean and the location is perfect. I have gone to a few different technicians an my personal favorite is Elizabeth. She goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and takes her time with each session. I started with buying one package.....5 more later..... Definitely worth it.

The worst service ever. The girl who did my VS is excellent and the manager was very nice. The front desk girl was extremely rude and obnoxious. She was yelling at me and was very disrespectful. She is a half of my age. Very unprofessional! For this kind of service I will never recommend this place to anyone else. There are many places with exactly the same price and better service indeed.

I would not at all recommend Erase. They burned half my leg (I have a massive scar and discoloration), and yet every time I call to discuss (at the very least they could refund the rest of the package that I couldn't use) they redirect me to an email address to which they refuse to respond.

Erase Spa is incredible! I've been going for almost a year now getting the Silk Peel facials and laser hair removal. All of the technicians are amazing. I used to get acne and wear make up every day because of scarring, but since I started going to Erase, my skin is flawless and I rarely put on makeup. Laser hair removal has changed my life. After just a few sessions of the Brazilian, I get very minimal hair growth. My only wish is that I discovered Erase Spa sooner :)

Now that I've finished my packages, I think I can fairly review them. To be upfront - I've never done laser hair removal before and didn't know what to expect... Luckily for me, the ideal candidate is light skin with dark hair. Folks who fall into this category tend to have better results because the laser can better target the hair. EXPERIENCE/RESULTS: I bought a medium package first (for armpits) to test them out. At first I didn't have a preference for a technician, as long as they were available during my lunch hour. However, I hit it off best with Elizabeth. She was very good at explaining the process, letting me know what to expect, and working with me if the laser seemed too strong/weak. She explained to me that there should be some pain, but not a lot... on a scale of 1-10, maybe 4-5ish. (There was even one point where she was unsure the machine was working correctly - it was painful despite being at a low setting, so she credited me another session.) Once I worked with her, I stuck with her, as she got to know me and what worked best. After 3 sessions, I felt comfortable enough to buy the Brazilian package as well. The first 3 sessions of each package were the most effective. You'll see a lot of fallout and you doubt if you'll even need all of the sessions in the package! However, just know that it becomes more of cleanup of the stubborn hairs after those first few sessions, so the later sessions' results are not as exciting. Most of my hair has not returned and the few that do are much thinner (I'd estimate about 90% of my hair is gone for my armpits, and maybe 75% for my Brazilian area - that may be because I asked for a lower power setting though... I was more sensitive there...). I rarely shave anymore and when I do, it's very quick since it's just touch ups. Though I do still have some hair that grows back, I don't feel it's enough to warrant another full package, at least not yet. I am waiting to see how results look after more time. Overall, I'm pretty happy to have little to no razor burn these days. TIMELINE: Usually there is no wait time when I go, or I am even taken early. Even with both sessions combined, it's surprisingly a very quick process! I am typically in and out in less than 20 minutes and still have time to grab lunch on the way back to work. You get a package of 6 sessions and do a session every 3 weeks, give or take (had to schedule around periods, for example). Elizabeth made a great call to put off my last session for about 2 months, just to see what really grew back, which I appreciated. I just finished both of my packages in about a year since they weren't exactly concurrent, and I had the complimentary session since one was a fluke. PRICE: It is a hefty investment, price-wise, but if it's as long lasting as I hope, it should be worth it. I'd estimate it came out to about $35+tips/session. Buy during their sales to get extra savings. SERVICE: The technicians all seem great! Again, I worked mostly with Elizabeth and found her to be phenomenal, but the other girls were great too. I do recommend trying to stick with one person since the better they get to know you and your preferences, the better they can cater to you. In terms of reception/scheduling, I do have to agree with other reviews that this seems to be the weakest link here... Make sure to double check your confirmations for the right date/time/technician. Most of the time mine were correct, but occasionally something is entered wrong. OFFICE: Location is great! Modern/clean decor. You almost walk right past their door though - it's very discreet at street-level. You need to walk up 3 flights of stairs (not bad, but just in case that might be a problem for anyone, wanted to give a heads up). They are constantly changing their layout but I understand why; they are trying to create as many rooms as possible to accommodate more clients.

I am very happy with the results and the prices are amazing. The front desk is always friendly as well. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because appointments are difficult to book and almost impossible to reschedule. I hope they start offering more services.

I have had 3 laser tattoo removal sessions so far to remove my old tattoo and I can see it fading already. Black color was the first one to go, but other colors are very stubborn. Expect horrible blisters, but is a normal reaction and will take a week to disappear. It is also very painful, but no pain no gain, right? Just do what they tell you to do in regards the aquaphor cream. The staff is nice and the place itself is nice too. I would definitely recommend them if you are thinking about the tattoo removal. You will see great results! Good luck...

Look no further! This is absolutely the spot for laser hair removal! They offer the best pricing in New York City with the best and most attentive and detail oriented technicians! I had tried various other places in the past and absolutely none compare to Erase. After the first treatment, at least 50% of the hair is gone and you won't need to shave or remove any remaining hair for weeks. Results vary per person but with the attention and care provided at Erase, I assure you that the results are incredible and even life changing (when your hair problem is in embarrassing places). Amy is my favorite but seriously, all the techs are highly skilled and will make you feel completely comfortable.

I discovered Erase Spa after extensive research into Laser hair removal. Their prices are reasonable, staff friendly and facilities modern and comfortable. I am coming towards the end of a package of 6 sessions (on bikini, upper leg, knee and under arm), while I do still have some hair I have seen a substantial reduction. I do however feel that some technicians are more thorough at carefully covering all areas than others and they they should work on this. I also have a high pain tolerance and I would rather have the laser setting set fairly high and I feel if it had been set higher on more of my sessions I may have got rid of more of the hair by now. All that said I would recommend Erase and I have bought a further package. Worth noting is that they do all the same deals if you buy direct than if you buy on Groupon or similar.

I bought 6 package on groupon, will likely need 8-10 sessions for complete hairlessness but I'm satisfied with the results thus far. Need to book in advance as they are usually filled up.

Beautiful new space. Same friendly and knowledgeable staff. ( Erase Spa was Voila Spa) Affordable packages. Most importantly, you get results. 6 treatments is usually the magic number but you may need a touch up. But that's usually about 9+ months later. Again results will vary with different people and skin types. Although it's freezing outside it's never too early to prepare for the warm days of summer. My legs are essentially hair free and love not worrying whenever I decide to wear skirts or shorts. I know ultimate first world problems right here! But I'm thankful for them. Appointments fill up quickly and sometimes you do end up waiting 10 mins after your schedule appointment time. I plan to return here to treat other areas in the near future.
