George has been my hairdresser since I was pregnant with my second son 23 years ago. He never fails to work miracles. How often can you say to someone “I only have an hour, what can you do to get me ready for a special function etc - and in that time frame I can get partial blond highlights and a beautiful Blown out style. He’s honest and engaging and knows hair - what works and what doesn’t. Beyond that the staff at this salon are exceptionally attentive - what a great find in the heart of midtown.

Yolande is by far the best massage therapist in New York. I've known her for over 2 years when she worked at another spa across the street from my building. Ever since, I have been a regular client of hers with biweekly treatments and followed her to her new place: Bon-Bon Hair Salon & Spa. As an experienced massage enthusiast who has enjoyed all sorts of massage therapies in different places around the globe, I can attest to the quality of Yolande's service and professionalism. She is a perfectionist, making sure every detail is taken care of from the selection of oils she uses to the overall atmosphere of the spa. Her technique is incredible and combines elements from both the Swedish and Deep-Tissue traditions. Yolande provides world-class massage therapy and is certainly one of the best massage professionals I have ever seen. The spa itself is nice and the people who work at Bon Bon make the overall experience very enjoyable. I strongly recommend.

I got my nails done on Thursday May 23rd, 2019. Powder dip because my engagement party was May 26th. I am SOOOOOOO disappointed. Actually I am FURIOUS. The day of my engagement I looked at my hands and a finger was completely gone and the other hand was messed up too. These are powder dip! Should last me AT LEAST 1-2 weeks. What the heck! My engagement pictures all came out with one finger nail color missing. I'm Indian so we also do henna. Everyone is looking at my hand. I couldn't be more embarrassed.

I usually put off haircuts because I'm nervous about getting a bad cut that will take forever to grow out but Nelly took the time to make sure that she really understood what I wanted before getting started. I had a great experience here! I had a lovely hairwash - the person who performed it was very gentle and careful (no water on my neck or clothes!) and gave me a massage. Then Salomon gave me a great haircut (my hair is naturally curly) and topped it off with a complementary blow dry. The price was very reasonable ($65 because of a special). Highly recommend!

Milla is literally the best - she consistently gives me amazing highlights and haircuts!! (4 years and running) Finding a hairdresser who can pick the right hue of highlights can feel impossible, but Milla has the eye for it. She doesn't always do the same highlights either - she ensures that if my hair is getting too saturated with blonde, that she'll recommend some low lights or if summer is coming to do a full head (which we only do once a year). Even when I get half head though, she always goes past the half-way mark and ensures my pony will look good! Milla also always takes every measure to ensure my hair is protected throughout the whole process - adding Olaplex and deep conditioning treatments to the process. My hair has always been curly and on the thinner side, lending to a ton of frizz and a horrible wirey feeling. Whenever I leave BonBon, my hair is softer and so much more manageable (even when I don't get the blow out) and only gets stronger as the days pass (not weaker). If you're on the hunt for amazing highlights (& healthy hair) - Milla is for you!

Lolita she is The Worst stlylist Don’t go there!!!! I have been to many hairdressers in my life but I never had such a bad and painful experience. I went there only for a blow dry and colored my hair . I have very long hair which i can easily comb after hairwash with some simple blowdry cream.. The woman was so unprofessional she couldn’t comb my hair and was pulling it so angry and strong that I was in terrible pain during the whole drying... I would not recommend that salon to anyone!!!

Lolita is without question the best hairstylist especially when it comes to color. I have been getting my hair highlighted since I was 13yrs old and no one, and I mean NO ONE was ever able to get me to the light almost white blonde that I always craved to be. Until I met Lolita! I have very dark brown hair naturally and I get that it is near impossible to get my hair to the white blonde I want without damage and breakage, but she was not only able to get my color spot on in one application she was able to do with minimal breakage. When I say I was shook I mean 9.0 on the Richter Scale shook. She knows what she is doing and I will never let anyone else touch my hair ever again. She is amazing and sweet and truly listens to your wants and makes you look fabulous!!!!

I got a very average blowout, the conditioning was just a hot towel with some “conditioning cream “ for like 10 minutes. Overall staff was not that welcoming, specially the lady in the reception, thou the guy who did blowout was very sweet, they charge $10 extra if you want to get the iron. Felt like a cheap place with a nice setting, maybe the experience without the Groupon is much better according to their rating.

Milla is an expert colorist and gave great advice for a natural blonde look for my damaged gray hair. She also gave me a lovely cut that works well with my wavy hair. Her assistant Darima washed my hair and gave me a relaxing head massage. Lorisa, an esthetician, gave me a hydration facial and massage. She was gentle with my delicate skin and I see a nice improvement and had no irritation. Everyone at the salon was lovely and professional. The prices are reasonable.
