This place holds up to the spas I'd visited in Seoul and Busan. I didn't make it to the top floor for any food, so I can't speak to that, but the soaking area has three pools with different temperatures, a couple saunas, and a row of grooming stations. Downstairs, there's several rooms to relax in, with heated salt blocks, clay, minerals, as well as a chilled room. The shiatsu massage was intense, and a few spots ached the next day, but in a good way. Be ready for that, unless you ask them to be gentle. NOTE: The last time I was there, a woman checking in ahead of me was hesitating because the soaking floors are nude only. Just like Korea, these are separated by gender, and it's totally not a big deal once you're there, at least on the men's side. I've never felt uncomfortable or saw any problems in a visit to any Korean spa - but I always do leave relaxed and rejuvenated.

Well I went on Saturday. It was a mess. The tubs were dirty due to people, the Russians, not showering after getting out of the steam/sauna rooms, jump right on in to the cold tub to rinse their sweat off... awesome! The Russians were obnoxiously loud, found out later it was because they were drunk. As I was in the changing rooms one of the Russians behind me dropped his bottle of beer, which you're not allowed to have, it broke directly behind me spraying me with beer and glass. Fantastic! Glass everywhere. Good times. Another patron ended up getting cut. Oh I forgot to mention the really poor quality eucalyptus oil they love pouring in the steam room it's great for causing headaches if you're wondering. So my time was ruined. Wasted $25. Don't worry though the front desk made it right. They offered a band aid. A band aid. Oh and before I forget the dirty tubs will give you a nice case of dermatitis folliculitis. I'm just itching to go back.

Very disappointed in this place. Went two different times and the lady that gave me my massage was horrible. She is an older lady that also owns a bed and breakfast in town. She talked the whole time non stop not only about herself but also politics and religion which I thought was extremely unprofessional. She would stop massaging me because she uses her hand a lot to talk too. After my so called massage she lingered around me I think expecting her tip because I was her only massage that day. I do recommend going there for a facial the girl that did that was very professional and good.

This is the worst spa I've been to.They kicked me out and I was there for 30 min. The boss hit me because he didn't give the key back. They called the cops and they didn't even want to come to deal with it. The guy that cleans the stuff up was talking smack about me and my friends that were there to the boss and then we got kicked out.

This was a wonderful experience. My mother and I went for 2 half hour facials. It was amazing and relaxing. My skin feels revitalized and and glowing. They explained step by step the process as they brought us to each step. We booked 2 hair cuts and styling for the following week. Very reasonably priced for the services provided. 100% would reccomend to friends and family.

Just went here tonight 10/19/2017 to enjoy a relaxing night at the spa with friends to meditate. They advertise they’re open until midnight and we got there around 10:15pm. Around 11:15, the lady from the front counter comes into the bottom floor lounge area and rudely tells us we need to wrap it up and be done and then walks off. Well, they’re open until midnight, so we have plenty of time to do a couple more rooms and shower before they close as we do an Olympus or Bella Luna in Lynnwood. Wrong. At 11:30, she comes down again and says, you need to finish. You still need to shower, so you need to go back upstairs. Because it’s 11:30 and they don’t close until 12:00 as it’s advertised EVERYWHERE, we did one more room before heading up to shower. Finished showering and came out to give the key back and leave and she reprimands us for staying in there because we need to leave the building by 11:45!! They advertise on every social media site, google, And their establishment that they close at midnight. So why are they telling us we have to leave at 11:45? I asked the lady at the front desk why that was the case since it’s advertised everywhere and she told me when I called that they close at midnight, and she said that she and the staff want to be out at midnight so customers have to be out at 11:45!! This is no way to run a business! Me and my friend have been here before and had the same issue with the time and them wanting to kick us out early. I get wanting to go home, but don’t advertise one thing and do another! We also found a big ball of hair and what looked like fluids of some sort in the warm pool and were unable to use the warm pool. The clothing smells weird. And the rooms look poorly put together. Overall, we wouldn’t have gone here again, but because Olympus closes early and we work late and Bella Luna is closed for reconstruction, we decided to give it another shot. Not surprised by the lack of change in behavior or upkeep or overall quality, but still highly disappointed because this was supposed to be relaxing, but it just ended in an argument with the staff about posted correct close times and not being rude to the paying customers. Unfortunately, the people on staff are incapable of customer service and don’t appear to want to change that, and they aren’t able to upkeep with the level of cleanliness expected for an establishment that has clients that will be nude and exposed to all sorts of things. At my business, we don’t kick people out until they are fully helped and ready to go, we don’t lock the door until the time that we advertise, and although we don’t deal with the same services, we still keep it clean at all times for the benefit of the customer, because the customer is important to keep the business afloat.

Wonderful place. Big, spacious layout. Staff are nice. However there is a mold problem in several different areas on the ceiling. The rooms and saunas and jacuzzis were all really clean. I really liked it here, hopefully they will improve their maintenance.

Haven't been to this place since April. Thought I would give it another try on a cold blustery day. From the looks of things, the Health Department hasn't been there since April as well. The place was filthy.....Only 2 of the pools were operational ( the cold pool was empty), but they both looked like dirty dishwater. Went into the steam room and when I sat down.....everything felt slimy. Went to the shower and left. This place has definitely gone downhill

I love this place. It's as clean as it can be. Credit needs to be given to the women that takes cares of floors sinks etc etc she is non stop! Great job. I never see her stop moving. However the black mold on the wood legs of cubicles is creepy. Needs touching up. Couches etc. Customer service rough around the edges. There is one woman if she perceives you stepped out of line she will let you know?! . I would rather. I respect that. Wish more establishments would do that. Good for her. I think. It's just not what I am used to but it's worth it because everyone stays in line that's for sure.

I had a wonderful day, the staff was amazing the girls that did our facial were absolutely great the staff was very friendly lunch was just perfect couldn't have done it any better the only thing that wasn't up to my T was when getting the pedi and mani they didnt have good quality of supplies, they didnt have the right brushes or the right equipment...the staff made up for the poor quality of nail polishes I hope this helps

I visited and enjoyed the Palace Spa in Seattle, US . All my family liked their Hot tub, Many kind of spa and kindness of Staffs. OMG, I forgot my money in the pocket of Spa Wear. I should be back home and I gave it up. Just I asked them to find my money and call me, Can you believe this? They found it (it is cash!!! Over US $120) , called me and transferred it to me in Canada. They made my Seattle trip so happy. All my members will remember there kindness. Thank you, Sandy and Staffs.

I went there a fews week ago for Body scrub and massage. I don’t mind for be naked for the process, but what I really Concern is they reuse towels for every Customers. I saw by my own eyes, the pot they’re soaking towels in there, the water so dirty and you can see dead skin floating in pot with towels they are using. I was looking at them using the same towels for next customers. Is that Sanitize? Not At All. Think about it you are Literally naked have no cover, if they used unsanitary towels on you. Gosh , gross . I don’t say that was bad experience, but come on. Don’t reuse same towels for next customers. That is violation of human protection.

The hot pool and cold pool were cloudy and neither hot nor cold... Half or more of the showers are broken. The pool boy is very unpleasant and lazy, sleeping in the meditation room or literally dragging his feet around not cleaning and frowning. I wish people would stop stealing the cheap rocks off the wall in the cold sitting room...

This place is pretty weird and amazing! May be one of my new favorites. So I like a pamper and modern sexy spa as much as the next guy, but this has an amazing old world feel. Half the clientele are Russian dudes and young men yammering on about this and that and there's a large portion of Korean clients as well since it is after all, a Korean spa. It's a bit of a maze but that's part of the fun. It's 3 huge floors of stuff. Top floor a living room lounge and a restaurant you may find in some strip mall somewhere off I-5. I'm pretty sure the food was amazingly authentic, I will be trying it next time. The middle "main" floor is the entry lobby and locker rooms + spa area. The bottom floor is different themed meditation rooms and relaxation quiet and social spaces. The spa itself is the only naked zone and is segregated by the sexes. It is all simple tile, nothing too fancy but all in one place. Hot tub, Warm tub and Cold tub. The cold tub is great cuz it's not a freezing 40 degrees but more of a summer pool temp. The steam sauna has plenty of room and is perfectly hot. The door has an awful squeak as it opens and closes but at least you know when folks come and go. The dry sauna light is way to bright but the room is large and comfortable for many folks at one time. The clients are friendly and talkative. We both got a full body scrub with our spa time. All together it was only 50 some dollars. Next time I'll splurge for a salt scrub and moisturize but for a first time visit this was a perfect package. The scrub was in the spa on a table with a dude who does this every day. He was thorough, professional, fast and very competent. Who knew having most of your skin ripped of with a gloved loofa could be so equally painful and enjoyable! If they'll fix that squeak and light I would be ecstatic... but maybe those are the sorts of things that make this place so charming. Go have an adventure, be naked! Drive the distance to go to this quirky and enjoyable spa out in Federal Way. We did, and will certainly again.

1st visit: it wasn't terrible, just ok. The staff is nice enough, but if you're looking for pampering service or luxury experience, this isn't exactly it, despite the naming & website The spa facilities are decent, but a bit run down: some walls are peeling/missing in big chunks (in ice room), 1/3 of spa jets don't work/broken, too much plastic (yes, it's durable, but not spa-like)... I'd say it's a practical basic jacuzzi & sauna experience. The backsrub service gave us a good exfoliate (thanks)! & The restaurant food wasn't bad. Though I can really do with soft relaxing spa music, instead of TV.

First time here and I was definitely impressed. The wet area is nicely appointed with three different temperature pools, a sauna, steam room and showers (showers have soap/shampoo/conditioner/body wash). The wet areas are gender segregated as you are required to be fully nude in the wet area. Downstairs is a co-mingled area you wear the provided short/shirt spa clothing in. The downstairs area contains a heated salt room, clay room & jewel room. All VERY relaxing. Then there is an ice room for that brisk cooling effect. The staff are very nice and friendly. Highly recommended for a nice self-care trip for anyone!

5pm weekend visit. Rude owner, rude male staff, pubic hairs around the pool floor area, dry sauna, wet sauna. Shoes aren't allowed so you have to walk barefoot in pubic hairs. Almost puked. Didn't bother asking for money back, rude owner like I mentioned. Shoes aren't allowed and no sandals either. (Owner yells at you if you violate this-hence the seriousness). Even upstairs in lounge and "restaurant" which is nothing but another room with sticky floors. Issued clothes smelled like body odor, mats and little beds/couches smell like they don't get washed or cleaned until maybe the end of day. No sanitizers/wipes displayed or allowed to clean up an area before use. Avoid getting mersa or something harmful and just stay away.

I really enjoy this place. It is a Korean spa so there are some language barriers and the technicians are direct. Definitely not a western style spa. Front desk was very polite and friendly. I had a scrub and deep tissue massage. Scrub was amazing and I lost a ton of dead skin & probably 5 shades of my tan. The massage was equally as good but not what I had been expecting. Silly me was expecting a "normal" massage with oil and slow soothing strokes. This was a shirt off pants on drive her elbow and knuckles into my poor muscles through a sheet. Then later some oil with really fast strokes. It still felt amazing but not what I had been expecting. So just in case beware....and yes sometimes they open the door (I saw that in another review)

Many have commented on the rude staff. I have found the women at the front desk to always be cheerful, but the male staff in the men's area are downright rude and abrupt. On my most recent visit, the hot tub was being retiled and was out of service (good that they're keeping it up, but disappointing that the value of my entrance fee didn't go as far) and the cold room downstairs was closed and out-of-order, which was definitely disappointing. It just seems like this place is not as nice as it once was. It is getting tired and run-down. I wish there were better options.

Korean spa with massage and scrub services. The hot pool is very hot and the saunas, both dry and wet, are very nice and hot. There is a warm tub and a cold tub. There are stand up showers and the typical Asian sit down showers. The bottom floor has 3 hot rooms made of gems, clay and stone and one 'ice' room that's very relaxing after a hot room. The only negative was the broken massage chair on the 2nd floor.

My family and I have been coming to this spa for years now and I completely understand that it may not be for everyone. Our family is Russian so we love the idea of a bathhouse as much as many other cultures outside of the US! This place is amazing to go to for self care and relaxation and reminds me of how nice it is to take care of your body. I love this place because half of it is a nude spa separated for men and women, accompanied with clean showers, steam rooms, and saunas. The gender neutral area has salt rooms that will detox your body. Keep an open mind and respect places such as this that keeps a long cultural tradition going. Its amazing what health benefits you gain! May be uncomfortable at first but tradition and self love and care is everything!

Only one heater was working out of 2. -You not gonna believe: A guy was washing floor in the shower with the hose and chemicals while people were in the shower. Good luck!

I've seen some negative reviews. It is not fancy, it is not for picky people and it is okay for me - less unpleasant people I will see there. I go there for relaxation. I recently went there and got a deep tissue massage. Massage was decent. When the lady ask me to turn around to finish my massage. I noticed the lady massaging me left are room door wide open and left the lights on. So any one can walk by and see me halfway naked. After the massage was over. I said Thank you! and left. The lady that was massaging me grabs my arm and asked “ Where’s my tip?” I found that very rude to ask. I simply told her “ I already gave you tip when I paid for my service”.

With so many different rooms downstairs, clay room, jewel room, cold room, and a all the pools. Everyone was courteous and professional. I'll be back the next time I'm in the Northwest!

One of the Best Relaxing Experience I have had recently! I received the Korean Body scrub, wrap and body moisturing treatment. Suzie was AMAZING! BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! The facility was nice and clean and welcoming. The front desk staff was very friendly and professional. Loved this place!

Great place to relax and reenergize. Two steam rooms, 3 dipping pools with cold, warm and hot water. Mutiple heat rooms with clay and stone bars. Nice Korean restaurant on site.

Hated it! The attitude of their front desk receptionists spoilt our stay. They are rude, un-cooperative, un-responsive... I am usually pretty generous in my rating but this is an exception. The worst service I have encountered. Totally dampened our mood. In stead, recommend you folks to choose "Downtown Banya" in Everett, much better place!

I been coming to Palace Spa for the longest time. Staff are all so friendly and the facility is clean. I am just shaking my head reading the negative comments. I've been taking my friends and family here to relax and we all do the Palace $99 which is the body scrub and body moisturizer. It is absolutely heaven! Give Palace Spa a try and I guarantee you that you will keep coming back.

I've been to every Korean spa around and this one is by far the worst. They clean pools during regular hours so some of the pools may be unavailable and cleaning supplies are used while you are there, there is no ambiance, the restaurant food is terrible and the clothing they hand out smells. I highly recommend Olympus Spa in Lynnwood or Lakewood instead - definitely worth the drive.

Really great. Staff are friendly, service is excellent. I have only gone for the deep tissue massages. The results after were amazing and left feeling very relieved and I will be sleeping like a baby tonight

It’s a very nice place, the staffs are nice. Got a massage from Sonia she is amazing, she understood my pain and did her absolute best massaging me until I was nearly painless. It was my first time getting a hot stone massage and I was please by the service, I absolutely felt great the next day and I will definitely be going back.
