This spa is amazing! Great pampering in your own back yard. All of the massage therapists are unique and wonderful! The facials are so personalized and pampering. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. All day use of the facility including mineral pool , jacuzzis, steam room, sauna is included in the price. Outdoor pool is heated and open all year around. You can order lunch poolside or head to the quiet bistro on the campus and enjoy some beer and wine. The prices are very reasonable for the area. Very short drive for Albuquerque residents.

While I was there the Lady Vanessa that is in charge made me feel very unwanted. Not sure why, I believe that she thought I was not good enough to be there? Maybe because I am White? Anyways, I will not be making the trip all the way out there ever again from Albuquerque! The product was not that impressive & the facial room felt more like a restroom. I do not recommend spending time, money or energy at this place.

I recently learned of the Golden Gate Spa from a friend who was going to have a massage there. I was surprised to hear that our community had a place that offered a relaxing atmosphere so decided to book an appointment. I had a choice of a male or female masseuse and chose Pierre. After that first appointment I have never looked back and have now had three massages with Pierre and my next one booked. I have a high stress job and travel for work. I come home with a lot of tension but when Pierre is finished I am relaxed with no knots in my neck and shoulders and ready for my next trip. A luxury every working woman deserves! You receive a discount if you book your next appointment right away and there is always $10 off on Thursday's. Pierre is professional with a charming personality that has you chatting if you wish or quite and relxed as he works on you. I have had a 60 min deep tissue massage and the 1:20 Swedish massage. Both are great but I prefer the extra 30 min I get with the Swedish as well as the limb and neck stretching included which is completely relaxing. The spa itself is lovely with a very calm vibe in the treatment area. With your massage you receive the use of the facilities. I have enjoyed their dry and wet saunas in the private ladies locker room. Robe, towel and all necessities are provided to clean up afterwards. I look forward to using their other amenities in the future. I made a visit to the cafe after my last visit and it was good. Service is a bit slow so don't stop by if in a hurry. GET the chocolate cake! Amazing! So happy to now have a convienient Spa nearby where there is friendly staff and a relaxing environment. Highly recommend!

I love to come here and relax. I, do, come here for massages and facials, and foot reflexology, but my favorite thing to do is to sit in the heated mineral pool or the jacuzzi and just totally relax. All your cares melt away with the country air and the warm atmosphere. Nothing like it in the Albuquerque because it is not in the city, so no hussle and bussle going on here. I'm going today to get my hair cut and then I'll go for a soak and a swim.

My hair turned out SO MESSED UP. The hairdresser was suppose to fix my roots, to blend them into my blonde... which turned into a sloppy striped mess. I have 4 brown stripes in my blonde hair, that are so noticeable. The only reason why I give it a 1 star is because they refunded me. The hairdresser is so rude and does a horrible job. When I came in to get it “fixed”, she said that I had “Called and cancelled the appointment”. Why would I cancel my appointment when my hair looked horrible? When I got there she was pushy, rushing me, and had a BIG ATTITUDE. Not my fault she messed up on my hair. I should’ve had the manager fix it, rather then trying to deal with her. Very unprofessional... maybe I’ll be back for a massage or spa day, but NEVER for my hair. HORRIBLE EXPEREINCE

Garden Gate is definitely a hidden gem in Valencia County. While I live nearby, I waited years to make an appointment. I was lucky enough to get a same-day appointment and the staff was very welcoming and accomodating. I was extremely impressed by the facilities, and my massage therapist, Pierre-Andre, was outstanding. You definitely get your money's worth here with all of the added perks i.e. access to the heated mineral pool, hot tubs, and saunas. There wasn't a single detail they left out, down to robes and hair ties. I will definitely be going back and regret not going sooner. I have yet to try the restaurant. Thank you for being such an asset to the Tome community.

Wonderful from start to finish. Side-by-side massages. Savories and sweets with raspberry tea by the pool. Hot tub, heated swimming pool with shaded cover, sauna. Super clean facilities. Lovely and gracious staff. A wonderful, wonderful experience.

I have visited the place while on vacation in NM. It's cozy and the treatments are very nice. I enjoyed the steam room and the jacuzzi. The food from the restaurant it's fresh and delicious. I heard the steam room has been broken for a long while and they have not repaired yet. I'm planing to go to NM this fall but I won't go to this SPA if the steam room it's not working! This is the reason for the 3 stars. When they fix it, I'll raise the stars.
